I really like this place and they do great work but their reservation system is not well attended to. For example, you can make a reservation but you may or may not receive service. Sometimes it feels like if you are new to the establishment you arent treated like the regular or valued customers. This makes some sense but it doesnt feel good to go in to the salon and feel ignored.

I have been going here for over 8 years now and have been happy with every visit. I love the atmosphere here, as well as the employees!!

It has been a while since I have had a pedicure done because it seems like the technicians at most places do not want to touch anyone post covid. But the ladies here were excellent. Professional and friendly. I will definitely be going back when I am in the area.

Worst nail experience Ive ever experienced. I went to this salon on 9/15 for a pedi and nail fix and fill in. My pedicure was trash she kept stopping to answer the phone and do other stuff. I understand its a business and things need to be done but there were plenty of other ladies working that wasnt doing anything. I came to relax and have a nice pedicure. I felt like she rushed and barely scrapped or massaged my feet. My toe nail polish has already begun to chip. My nail that was broken she didnt even care to put it up next to the same finger on the opposite hand to make sure they were the same length it is shorter than the the other nails !!! (Compared broke nail with regular nail below) She also wasnt going to shape it like the others I had to mention it to her and she still didnt make it look even close to the others. Ive had a nail fix before on another finger and you cant even tell Bc they tried their best to make it match the others!!! I noticed after I left that a few of my nails didnt have acrylic covering my entire nail like on the side I knew my nails would break soon but I didnt realize it would be this soon ! This is what my nails look like by 9/20 Bc they lifted off from the nails that wasnt filled in correctly. Ive been getttung my nails done for yeeeaaarrrssss and never experienced this. Moral of the story DO NOT COME HERE FOR ANY ACRYLIC SERVICES !!! Only one person in the shop is certified out of like 5 nail techs. To leave on a positive note they have a great nail color selection && also the place is decorated nicely!

I tell all of my friends to go there! My nails always look fresh and beautiful when I leave. Not to mention the time and care they take not only with my nails but also to get to know me.

Best around! I have been trying to find *my* nail salon in the area for 20 years. Ive been to so many but rarely the same one twice as they didnt meet my expectations. Ive been going to Mimi regularly for over a year now. They are friendly, strive to satisfy and most importantly, they all do a great job. I wish I would have found them sooner, when I had more time to treat myself. Thanks ladies!!

Hands down the best nail salon in Greensboro. I have been coming to Mimis since it opened and before that when it was a tiny salon on Lawndale. Bun and all the other ladies are wonderful and professional. I was there the day Jorge came in. He was asked politely to leave, there was no cursing or yelling. This was the second time Jorge had used Mimis as a place to conduct business, hopefully he has found another business will let him conduct his Offer Up transactions.

Mon is the best. Excellent service and the friendliest staff anywhere.

This was my first time coming here and I loved everything about the experience. I was greeted politely, the job was well done, the prices are reasonable, and the staff was incredibly nice. I will have to come again soon!

First visit was ok, second was horrible seems nobody can do acrylics all everyone wants to sell is GEL!I have allergy to Gel and hate dip nails . I don’t understand why I’m not able to find a professional for acrylic nails that cares about what their client wants!

I have been going to this salon for years. It’s far from my house so periodically I try other places in town only to be reminded that Mimi’s is, by far, the best. Every single person there does a fantastic job. I never feel rushed. Always welcomed. And they constantly remember my name. Couldn’t recommend them any more!

This may be a nice salon but has narrow minded and rude people working in it. I went in there to ask for change for a sale I was doing on OfferUp and I gave their name as a reference to meet (outside mind you) and I was still cussed out by the people inside because my buyer wondered in to ask about their services...😕😢👎🏼

I will admit, the girls seriously need to get better about holding appointment slots. Ive walked out on them more than once for that. However -- the service, cleanliness, value and work done is the best you are going to get in Greensboro. Hands down, the best. I moved to High Point and I STILL drive all the way to Lawndale every few weeks just to get my nails done. The manager is incapable of paying full attention to anyone because shes also trying to run a shop but every other technician Ive had there is friendly and does an amazing job. They keep their shop and their individual spaces in fantastic condition so you never feel like you just walked into a place where you have to be skeptical about what youre touching or what theyre touching you with. There are sanitizing machines at every single station. No goopy mess from any of their products anywhere. Theyre great about putting colors back where they started so you can actually pick from the hundreds of colors they have without feeling like the shelves have been picked over. They have an awesome selection of gel and regular polishes and the Diamond Pedicure is worth every single cent of the extra like $10 because you get 3 massages instead of 1 and the scents of the products are amazing! I love this place and am sorely disappointed every time I walk into other salons now. Mimis seriously sets the bar. Just expect that theyll be busy at peak times so call ahead if you can.

At the recommendation of a friend for us to have some Girl Time, she scheduled us a mani-pedi. This has been the best salon experience Ive had yet. Mi mis does a GREAT job. The level of sterilization and disinfection is impressive and got my attention right away. The staff makes you feel welcome and seemed comfortable and familiar with me personally right away. Earned my return business immediately.

Been going here for years. But one time I had a flight to catch, asked the manager if I could get my 1 nail fixed as soon as possible, her response was, we will get to you when we get to you. I think they have too many customers and forgetting who is the customer

Dont expect Mimis to honor your appointment. Just spent 30 minutes waiting on an appointment. They take all walk-ins and dont save a slot for appointments. If you dont care about your time, camp out and youll be served in the order in which you arrived.
