1. You’re paying for a gated community that is NOT GATED AT ALL! When i moved in they said they were working on it because someone hit it. When i bought it to their attention again this month i was told it cost so much to get fixed. I moved in May and my neighbors tell me it’s been broke for like over a year.2. I pay for pest control included in my rent, NEVER HAVE I SEEN A PEST CONTROL PERSON COME IN AND SPRAY MY APARTMENT AND I WORK FROM HOME ITS NO WAY I MISSED THEM EVERY MONTH!3. I have called them several times at the front office they don’t answer you get rerouted to like a call center and they all say they will leave a message with someone to call you back. They never do i have to actually go up there to get a response.4. I have submitted work orders with call center reps. Maintenance never comes out. I went up to the office to address that issue she said someone would be out tomorrow here it is 4 days later still no maintenance person.5. They have the wrong amount that i pay for rent on the portal and i keep getting messages and calls saying i have a urgent business matter i need to follow up on. WHEN I HAVE BEEN TELLING THEM SINCE I MOVED IN WAY BACK IN MAY THAT ITS WRONG. They have yet to correct that issue!6.I wouldn’t recommend these apartments for the amount of money you pay to stay here if i could give it less than a 1 STAR I WOULD.

I’ve been staying here for over a year now and absolutely love my apartment. It’s newly renovated and near all the local shopping centers/stores on West Wendover. The maintenance people are extremely reliable and staff within the office are always open to help with any problems or concerns regarding their residents. It’s a great place to live. I highly recommend it for families and newcomers within the Greensboro area.

You are paying for the Adams Farm zip code, nothing else. Gym is tiny & finally after over 1.5 years they fixed the ONE leg machine. The gates at entrances NEVER work, never. Mailboxes can get broken into & the trash/recycling gets full FAST. It seems like maintenance approves work orders without actually fixing things, I have to put in multiple requests. Oh & the office people... can be difficult & rude. I came in at 5:59 with the office door still unlocked & the office girl had the worst attitude when I asked for help. The online portal DOES NOT show you your balance owed, nor a breakdown of charges. Not the worst place, but you could spend your money somewhere else for sure!

Not worth the rent they charge! Gate has been broken for over a year, mold all in the apartments, dumpster constantly have trash all over in the front of it. Cracks in various places on the inside of the foundation, mailboxes are broken or can easily be broken into. It’s definitely not what I thought and this place is ran down, you’d think you’re in a 27401 zip code and not the prominent “Adams Farm”. Don’t waste your money and go to one of the newer complexes in the area.

It was a nice and peaceful place when it was Steeplechase. Since it became Advenir, the place is dirty, it stinks and maintenance is no longer 24/7. All the best if you have a maintenance issue that requires immediate attention. The on site office never picks their calls and it takes forever for them to return it.

Quite and very friendly. The staff in the community are very kind and easy to work with. If there is a delay we are notified quickly and they make other arrangements is needed. I had a great experience on Thursday with Amber. She rode me all around the property showing me what they had to offer. I couldn’t get anything as of yet cause they don’t have any three bedroom, however she did add me to the waiting list and was very professional. Let me know the community cares.

Not worth the pay. You are literally just paying for the area the complex is in. Ive had maintenance issues with my apartment since day one that were supposedly fixed, but ultimately were not. I live in a renovated apartment, so it looks nicer, but has the issues of an old, outdated apartment. Since becoming Advenir, maintenance requests take forever to be resolved and the front office never answers the phone. So ready to move.

My leasing agent was incredibly unprofessional, Amber was very slow to get back to me, misrepresented my rent and utilities, I ended up having to pay $200 more a month because of her mistake. My apartment wasnt move-in ready, the gate is never closed and there are bugs (although I am on the first floor). I decided to only sign a 3-month lease because I really needed a place immediately as Im starting a new job in Greensboro soon but I am not staying in this apartment. During these 3 months, I will be looking for a new apartment and leaving as soon as I can

From the first time we met Shauna, the leasing agent, our every question was answered, our every concern taken seriously. We had moved from a maintenance free, from everyone, to a young lady that acted as if she truly was interested with what we said. She was not acting, every little detail was fixed or looked into, (no bird feeders, geese you know). The apartment is spacious, but not overly. To date we are completely satisfied with Shauna, the gentleman from maintenance, our neighbors. Yes 5 stars without a doubt.💖✝️

Honestly if I could give it no stars I would. First I want to say not everyone there is rude Shauna is a nice leasing agent but the rest are just all over the place . I called to see why I was denied at first and they stated I was never denied and to complete the application. Amber said even if you are denied we having people passing with guarantors and a third party guarantor making it seem like denial was just not an answer. I called the office to check my status she said my manager is doing it now stated she would call back. Never called back and then I receive a email stating I was denied due to income ratio which it what I asked the first time . Honestly they just are all over the place and we’re managed better when they were Steeplechase and not Advenir at Adams Farm.

Vendors beware if you do work for these be prepared to get the run around about your money.Ive been waiting over 60 days.Will not do any more work there

This company takes over and service is sub par at best employees from prior company who actually cared left due to new management. New company states folks hate change not the truth just expect honesty and service. Place calls and returns are the next day, go to office and no one is there, get upset because they want to do a pre move out inspection and you are expected to take a day off for their convince. This new company can’t even compare to prior company. Rents are raised and service is lowered.

The worst property management team. We started our stay in December 2021 and it looks like they moved to a new water utility company. Water bills were too high and management accepted that it is high also other tenants also complained. They reduced the water bill for others by averaging previous month bills. They told us not to pay water bills for 6 months as they are looking to solve the problem for us. We kept on asking update on this issue till we moved out this May27th. Now they send us an email that we failed to pay water bill and send it to collections. Taylor comes back now and says that we cannot do anything just pay the whole amount or we will report you. They don’t keep their word

I’ve had a terrible experience at this property. I previously left a negative review and it was apparently flagged and deleted by management. This property used to be owned by Bellpartners and it was 100 times better than it is now. I have watched this property go downhill since it has been taken over by new management. I have lived here for almost 4 years and NEVER experienced a rodent problem until RECENTLY! I am a VERY clean person and do not keep a lot of food out or trash/clutter around. I have trapped 3 mice in my apartment thus far! Instead of property management flagging my comment, it would be nice if they tried to get this problem RESOLVED. I pay my rent for a 2 bdrm on time EVERY month and with the money it cost to live here, nobody deserves to live under these slum conditions. I will keep creating accounts and post pictures on Google regularly until this problem is resolved! And if you flag me on Google, I’ll just go to Facebook or IG. I’m over it.

Out of the four apartment communities we toured today, Advenir exceeded our expectations. The entire staff welcomed us, and they even accommodated us on an earlier tour than we had already scheduled. As much as I hope an available apartment opens up in March and we get approved, I still wanted to make sure to leave a five star review for the way they made us feel today. We can’t thank you enough for welcoming us. Looking forward to applying (and praying something comes up)! Thank you, again.

This is what you have to look forward to if you live here as well as super high rent that goes up every year. I’m over it!! I’m just gonna move out and go with the courts I’ve been complaining about this for weeks now and absolutely zero has been done. Find somewhere else this place isn’t worth the rent I’d suggest smith homes or section 8 before you pay a thousand dollars a month for this!!

So it’s officially going on 5 months with a broken window that was supposed to be fixed within a week after I moved in which was the first week in October. We are almost at the end of February and I still have a broken window covered in who knows what it’s nothing that keeps the heat in. If you want pay expensive rent while having to pay a high light bill in reference to a broken window that’s been covered in who knows because it’s not even plexiglass sign right up. I had to make adjustments with a heater in my bedroom due to a covered window which resulted in a higher light bill. I never experienced anything like this.I’ve been told so many excuses I just gave up with calling the front office and said let’s start with reviews because for some odd reason that’s when stuff is resolved. I’ll post pictures soon inside and out of this place. Save your money go somewhere else.

Living in this community has been a breath of fresh air, its much more quiet around here than i expected my apartment is beautiful but the community puts the cherry on top from my neighbors quiet and clean even down to the office staff always understanding and easy to communicate with and pretty down to earth maintenance has never been an issue either its everything you would expect and more Ill probably be residing here until I buy my house you dont even have to worry about nosey neighbors or loud obnoxious people its the perfectly clean and safe for my children im not scared for them to play outside being a single mother its perfect I love it here

I currently have lived here for about 6 months, the maintenance ppl are wonderful and fast when i have needed a service request. The only issue i have is that do not care about ppl breaking into other cars or damage. They refuse to fix the front gate to allow only residents in and they don’t offer you a space near your home, instead multiple cars park here and take the spaces and you have to walk miles to your apartment if you want a space after 8pm good luck. In my opinion the price is too much, for them not to fix certain issues

We moved to NC from TX in Aug 2018 and had a great experience living in Steeplechase apartments until last month. Eric gave great service from our first tour to check-out. Every maintenance issue we submitted was fixed immediately either the same day or next. We loved all our neighbors and never had any problems with them. We would recommend them to anyone.

This staff is really great in handling business customer service is A1 & they’re patient & kind to all tenants they’re very respectful also what a great team here I love living here Tonya is great, Tyler is great & crystal is awesome & she’s a great leader in management I’m glad to know them .

I needed a new place for my daughter and I to call home. Eric walked me through the process on who I needed to pay and call to remove a prior eviction. Steeplechase Apt Homes is a wonderful place to live. The atmosphere is Beautiful, the staff is very professional and the amenities are exactly what I need. Ive lived here for 5 years and I have no complaints. Any maintenance issues are addressed immediately and that is very important. I would definitely recommend these apartments as a place to call home.

We have moved out. They have charged us 4,000.00 WHEN WE DONT EVEN LIVE HERE ANYMORE. We had an agreement with corporate that we only owed one months worth of rent. There is over 10 random charges on our account!!!! INSANE.

Love living here! Feel like I am in my own community and able to get away from all the crazy.

The property is beautiful and very quiet. The office staff is very friendly and they always make you feel welcomed. They even welcome your fur babies! The maintenance team is always quick to respond to any issues. I love that they have two pools that are open year round. It has really been nice considering most pools are closed this time of year. There is also walking trails that start right outside of the gate! Considering Im a runner this has been awesome! Overall I love living here and I highly recommend!!

Awesome staff here at Steeplechase Apartments complex. The team hers take their responsibilities in assisting you in every way possible to make sure you as a resident that is happy, safe and living in a clean quiet community. We are surly a big happy family in my opinion.The maintenance team has responded to all of my request within a timely manner. I became a member of this community at least 6 years ago and I plan to continue my stay for many more years. Love this place. We have been here since July 2019 and have had no problems. The neighbors and staff have all been very friendly and maintenance requests are responded to promptly. It’s close to everything you would need but also secluded from big city-ness. I would highly recommend.

This place is fantastic! I got to spend two years here and was really sad to have to leave. The staff is very attentive and makes sure you have everything you need and everything is always taken care of. They know you by name and are always friendly. Its in a perfect location. Theres a walking path down Adams Farm road that goes up and around a lake and its just beautiful. Theres a couple grocery store options just up the road. Its about a 15-minute drive from Downtown Greensboro and right outside of Jamestown. I had a third floor apartment which was perfect. It had high ceilings and plenty of space for me and a roommate. I have zero complaints about this place and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Steeplechase at Adams Farm is a wonderful place to live if you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful and safe neighborhood!! I’ve been here for a long time and I can say that amenities, maintenance and office staff are awesome; specially Eric, who is an outstanding leasing manager that has always made me and my family feel at home! Living in a place where you feel that most of the neighbors has the similar mindset like yours and lives with values like respect, emphathy and happiness makes a great difference while reaching the goal to buy your own house. Among all the good communities around here, I would never change Steeplechase!

When my husband and I first move here, it was great.Eric was wonderful and the food truck Fridays were awesome. Months later, there was a water leak from the third floor and we had damages. It was handled with no issues. The staff is very sweet and if you have a problem, just talk to them about. They will work with you.

The grounds are well manicured and taken care of. The staff treat you like old friends they love to see. The area is generally quiet. In the small chance riff raff get in, they are quickly gone. The neighborhood is safe and friendly. The amenities are just about perfect (nicer dog park would be awesome) and the location cant be beat!

I have lived here for over six years. It is a great complex, the staff is friend, caring and attentive. My maintenance issues are always resolved within 24 hours. The apartments are spacious and well laid out. Also love the area so close to all the shops on Bridford and Wendover. I love this place!

It was great when I first moved in. Eric is amazing and quite frankly the only one I like dealing with.Ive been complaining for MONTHS now about my upstairs neighbors being too loud. I have an autistic son and its affecting his health because hes not sleeping and cries because he is CONSTANTLY awakened out of his sleep by the noisy neighbors. He cant sleep in any room in the apartment because they stomp all hours of the night. Hes only 6 and he is suffering but they have yet to do anything about it. All they do is say Oh Im sorry. Ive called the cops, the wack Gate City Security and nothing is done. For months, when I told them it was the apartment above mine they were sending notices to the wrong apartment. Now, even if I had the wrong apartment, if I give you my apartment unit you should have a way of knowing who is above me. That shows you their level of competency.I actually worked for an apartment complex for three years as an assistant property manager so I know what they are supposed to do. And in this case, theyve done nothing so, I have already begun the necessary steps to go to the higher ups and if it continues to affect my sons health, I will be seeking legal action.Been waiting for a gate key forever. They were renovating but Ive got to ask multiple times for a key card.Had a leaky ceiling and they came to wet vac the apartment. Mind you Im an asthmatic and could barely breath. They never properly fixed the carpet once they ripped it and since then, Ive had all these centipedes in my house.I renewed my lease because Im working on getting a house but, its doubtful I would recommend this place or renew again.I would give them 0 stars but Eric is the ONLY reason I gave them 2 stars. Oh and note how an employee gave this place 5 stars as a review.

We have lived here for 2 months now and it has been wonderful. Maintenance comes out right away to fix any issues you have and the floors are well padded so it doesnt sound like the ceiling will fall down if the people above you are walking around. The office staff has been amazing and kind and the grounds are well kept (except for the occasional pile of dog poop from a lazy owner). We are very happy here! It would be great if there was some shade for the playground but that is my only (trivial) complaint.

Where do I start. For the price they charge you would think the tenants would be of a certain class but that isnt the case. Constant marijuana smoke in the stairways. Walls are so thin you can hear doors slam in other apartments. When people are walking up the stairs you hear every step. Alcoholics, coke heads, drunken girl peeing in the parking lot. Most recent hit and run incident of a parked car. The community is not a true gated community as anyone can walk into the complex since it is not all surrounded by gates.There has been upgrades but once again Id rather have a safe neighborhood than a posh fitness center or a beautifully decorated leasing office. DO NOT take a first floor apartment because you will hear every step you neighbor makes. The only sincere staff was Eric and Vanessa. Pool not cleaned often. Also had issue with occasional roaches from previous tenants and neighbors. To think they charge what most big cities like Charlotte or Raleigh would charge but these apartments are inferior in amenities and building structure.The security patrol-what a joke. He is just there to write out parking tickets for anyone parked in the handicap spaces. If you want to spend close to 1k and feel safe you might look elsewhere. Most residents dont renew their leases after spending a year or 2 max because of these issues.

Overall a decent place to live, nothing great, nothing terrible. Positives: Relatively quiet, gated community, maintenance is quick to respond to work orders, leasing office staff were great.Negatives: We had to pay a monthly fee for “valet trash service”, which at the time we moved in we were under the impression that our trash would be picked up at our door. We were wrong, you still have to haul your trash down the hill to the dumpster, which is pointless to pay for “valet trash service” if we as residents are the ones taking care of it.” Number two is parking, never expect to park within 50 yards of your building, there’s no parking permits. The parking lots are extremely overcrowded, especially in the evenings/nights. Lastly, the stairwell sections of my building was never cleaned or maintained. Needed to be repainted, spider webs needed to be taken care of, and someone NEEDS to pressure wash things as well.Overall: a decent place to live, you won’t be overly disappointed, nor overly excited during your stay.

They needed 6 months to refund my deposit. My empty luggage bag was either stolen from the laundry room or thrown by their staff without notice. I was told the apartment is going to have new appliances but this was a lie. Car washer almost always down. Broken promises made to me. Staff is nice when everything is okay, but when there is an issue you get to see their arrogant side. Severely regret moving into this place.

Where can I begin...Now even though I do not live here I am considering it. I simply had to review the level of service that I recieved from the lesing agent Lucas. Lucas was absolutely amazing. He is very knowledgable of the property and was able to answer any question that I had. He was also so much fun to talk to. I wanted to move in simply based off of our interaction. Oh how I love this place! Dont think because this place is listed in Adams Farm it will be better. Ive seen more animals from Animal Planet at my door and in my thruways than Ive ever seen on TV. I have asked that the thruways get cleaned and sprayed but It never looks like it was done and when I ask when will it be done Im always told that a specialist already came by. A What? He/she must have come by to verify that there are bugs and left. I really love how I get the occassional drop in from spiders, stink bugs, bees...etc through my balcony door because the seal to the outside has a gap in it. There is clearly a crack in the door where the door doesnt seal properly. This also helped me a lot when I was looking to lose all my heat, AC and money to pay for them both. Oh! One of my favorite things was last winter when I shoveled the snow in the parking lot on my own while the employees/maintenance of Steeple Chase drove by in their carts watching. The parking is a top contender as a personal favorite. The parking is trash. I usually have to park 2 buildings away because EVERY parking spot is filled at night rain, sleet or snow with a pregnant spouse... Fun as you can imagine. If this is the area you want to move to, try Legacy at Twin Oaks. This apartment complex is literlaly right behind Steeple Chase plus they have people to come around and pick up your garbage opposed to you walking a mile to the dumpster or using your POV. Id never recommend this place to anyone. This is a large property in Adams Farm with walking trails... Thats apart of the sales pitch. The clubhouse is nice and so is the remodeled business center, but you wont live there. My toilet and heater makes noises constantly and its super annoying. It never shuts up. There is a ton more I can say but I think you get the picture. Do whats best for you.

This Place SUCKS!!! Management is HORRIBLE! The leasing agents are pretty cool but whoever the head lady is in the office is needs be trained more. She is rude, and does not care about the residents. DO NOT MOVE OUT HERE!!!!

One of the worst apartment ever seen in my life. I am a current resident, and stuck with the leasing term or else i would go 100 miles far away from these guys.I see lot of bugs in my kitchen, when we complaint they say its my fault.I see bugs coming into home, earthworms, centipedes too. When i complaint they say its common that you see these because now as weather is getting colder they come out into homes!....WHAT!....seriously?...And i saw a small snake today in my patio. I dont know whether i am living in an apartment or a forest. My advice do not ever come into these apartments. Staff just try to do their job to rent out the apartments, but this is absolutely worst place to live in!...And the staff doesnt care at all.. When you go and try to talk to manager the staff comes in and try to take care. I called maintenance emergency number about the snake and its been 30 minutes i didnt even heard back anything. This is a serious issue. Luckily we do not have kids, what if kids step out into balcony?....

Newly renovated but leeks water in the master bed room at the window when we had our last real heavy rain. Garbage disposal leaked the first day move in. Poor wall patch repairs and painting. kitchen fixtures crooked. Kitchen counter top splice not sealed. large air leak around entrance door. I would like to retract the statement in regards to the GFI. That statement is not true (Not GFI protected in hall bath room at the sink.) Air conditioner had to be repaired less than week after inspection with just 8 month into a 10 month lease. And now the new 12 month lease is up 49.00 from 940 month to 989 month for this 2br 2ba apt. No longer wish to stay here. I do want to add... I appreciate them, with my short notice, allowing me to move in hassle free as stated in company slogans. For that reason I will give back one star, so now a 3 star review. Been living here with my family since July of last year and my husband and I think its the best place we have lived in the past 4 years. Being in the miltary you move around a lot meet new people live different place and this is by far the best place we have lived. Not only the sraff at the front office been nice especially Eric but also the maintenance staff. They come out the same day majority of the time even on Christmas Eve when they didnt have to. They response to requests quicky. I personally dont have any issue with them or the neighbors beside dog pooping on grass and some neighbors not cleaning up and rent goes up to renew lease but then again thats everywhere. One of the best place we have lived.

When my fiance first moved there 5 years ago it was great nice clean apartment complex I moved in 3 years ago, they wanted to raise our rent feom 900 to 1200 for his 6th year when the Lease was up.The only people in the office who know what they are doing is the new property manager she is great and Eric and Vanessa.However the property is getting ghetto quick. Trash all over the building we lived in, people driving through all night with the bass so loud it literally rattled our Windows people throwing furniture off their balcony almost hitting my son one time. One tenant a grown man stole a toy from my son. Had 2 scooters stolen from son off our patio had 1 bike stolen another tenant in our building had a stroller stolen. Upstairs tenants would park a stroller at the stairs instead of hauling it upstairs and also kept used dirty diapers constantly under the stairs nasty smell.The kids are not supervised properly by parents. I had one set of parents just leave for work abandoning their 3 year year old at my apartment all day I had to leave and ended up having to call the police. The apartment office didnt have Eric or Vanessa at this time. So who was there was no help.I cant tell you all the bad that happened at this apartment complex due to bad residences one time i was injuried bad enough by a tenants teenager at the pool to the point I had to go to the hospital. Over all avoid this place. There was a hit and run a month ago at this property.I hate to say avoid this place it use to be a wonderful clean property but the tenants no matter if they are white, hispanic or african american. The place is getting getting ghetto. And unfortuanly a once wonderful property is no longer any good.But I will always do a big shout out to Eric and Vanessa i have gotten into it with Vanessa before I think me and her have communication problems but over all when i lived there i would only talk to Eric or Vanessa they are amazing employees. But the company ties their hands so tight they could never do anything about any of the problems really

Bedbugs from the day I moved in they sprayed it didnt take care of it they sprayed again then after 3 months they heated the apartment it worked but charged us over a 1000 because it was over 3 month we refused they said they got it approved they would take care of the bill over a year goes by we move out they charge us for the bedbugs our air never worked properly we had them come over and over we finally went and bought a air conditioner we had multiple repairs that would take months for them to fix they would say it was fix and it wouldnt be we would have them come back

The management is not helpfull at all and the maintenance staff is incompetent.

This is by far the worst apartments I have lived in, I dont recommend steeplechase to anybody, they want to charge you for everything !

Been living here for almost 4 years now and never had any issues until they switched over to Advenir. For the price of rent we have not had properly working ac for almost 2 months now and it has been pitch black outside of our apartment for over a week now! I keep getting notifications of work orders being completed but they are not actually completed!!!! I am really getting fed up with this place, so if you are considering moving here I highly recommend you look elsewhere right now!
