I would not recommend this place to anyone. I have lived here for two years now and it has totally changed. There have been 3 or 4 different managers so communication is obsolete besides the automated messages that rent is due starting 5 days prior. The grounds have trash everywhere, landscaping cuts the grass/ limbs and they stay where they are. I have a drain beside my front door that has been clogged since day one so when it rains it floods the walkway into my apartment. The final straw is the water bill which is now up to $145 and nobody knows why. The office will not respond to get it settled. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Pics to come
I’m having a lot of problems getting things fixed timely. Last I heard they have no maintenance staff, they all quit when new management arrived. So tired of being the beneficiary of staff turnover. This COULD be a great place but it’s not right now. For the amount they charge you’d think this place was amazing. I guess I’ll have to call their corporate office, yet again .
The community is quiet, friendly and secure. Great floor plans, apartments are very spacious along with ample amount of storage space. Office staff is very friendly and co-operative. Maintenance issues are fixed promptly. Overall a clean and decent place with friendly people around.
Don’t move here. Neighbors complain about everything as if they don’t live in apartments. You will never find parking in front or BY your building & when you find somewhere to park you will be told “residents are complaining” & that “sometimes neighbors have guests over” which I guess means they have priority over someone that pays rent. The staff isn’t helpful at all.
10/10 Worst apartment complex. There is nowhere to park & no restrictions on cars per apartment. Leasing office is full of condescending employees, who do nothing to help except try to get you to buy a garage & pay hundreds per month just to be able to park near my apartment! The community isn’t even really gated.. as the gates are ALWAYS open. Absolutely unacceptable & i will be moving as soon as my lease is up.
DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PLACE!!!The apartment is way below average but with overpriced rent rate and all kinds of hidden fees, the worst management Ive ever seen, worse than useless, they not only provide zero help, but theyll charge you for made up reasons after you moved out. You will have to be very careful if you choose them, keep all the evidence if needed.
Ive been here for quite a few years. I plan to stay a few more. The property is clean and well-kept -- inside and outside - and maintenance is prompt to respond. The team is professional and personable. Rachel, the property manager, is always friendly, professional and responsive to me. She runs a great team. Granite Ridge has always had a great property management team. All of this is what keeps me here.
Ive lived here for over 15 years. (didnt want responsibility of home ownership) It is quiet, close to restaurants, stores, and multiple highways. My neighbors have been fantastic, many folks have also lived in this community for many years. The selling point for me at the time, AND STILL IS... are the spacious apartments; as well as wonderful walk in closets. (I am in a 2 bed/2 bath) Been very happy here.
I lived here for 5 years. The community is quiet, secure, Residents and staff were extremely friendly. The apartments are spacious. I lived in both 1 bed and 2 bed floor plan. 2 beds Emerald floor plan is quite spacious. We really liked the view from our patio in both the apartments. The common areas are kept clean. Rachel, the property manager, is always friendly, professional and responsive. Office staff are friendly and co-operative. Maintenance issues are fixed promptly. Granite Ridge has always had a great team be it property management or maintenance.
I have lived at Granite Ridge for over a year. I have absolutely zero regrets regarding moving here. The staff is friendly. Whenever I have had a maintenance issue they have been prompt to fix it. The grounds are very well kept. The staff organizes community events. The clubhouse and pool area are very nice and always clean. I love the fact that it is a diverse community. All of my neighbors that I have come in contact with have been friendly. The gates sometimes do stay open. I think it may be due to the wind. Either way, this is minor to me. I have not seen any bugs but specifically roaches in my apartment. The location is perfect. There are plenty of grocery stores and restaurants to choose from. Also, it’s not too far from the highway.I do no want the headaches that come along with homeownership. As long as things continue going as they have been, I plan to be here for many years to come.
The apartments are nice but the management is horrible. The manager needs to work on her customer service skills when dealing with her tenets. Also I’ve NEVER seen so many BUGS in my life!! We have gotten our unit sprayed twice and yet we still have bugs!! Not worth the money
Horrible people, you do not want to have anything to do with the people who own or work for this company.BTW they force employees to leave five star reviews for apartments they dont even live in.
Spider infestation.Lack of parking. Not truly a gated community due to the gate being broken half the time.Thin walls.Utility fraud-yes, you read that right. They refuse to pay for the electric they used AFTER we moved out. And yes, we moved out on our lease end date, so this is truly utility fraud!!!!
Amazing place to call a home. The community is quiet, friendly and secure. Great floor plans, apartments are very spacious along with ample amount of storage space. Office staff is very friendly and co-operative. Maintenance issues are fixed promptly. Overall a clean and decent place with friendly people around. Love living here.
I am a current resident of the Villas at Granite Ridge. I highly recommend this community to anyone who is looking for great customer service from staff and maintenance. I have found the community location to be quiet, yet close to shopping and freeways. The amenities are everything that I find useful. The huge plus is that they allow pets. Whether you are transitioning or looking for a home longer term, you must check out Granite Ridge.
I moved into Granite Ridge in January. Love it here! Quiet community with beautiful grounds. I like the 2 secure, gated entrances. I looked all over Greensboro and no other complex came close to the providing the amenities and convenient location...close to everything but out of the hustle/bustle.
My husband and I lived at Granite Ridge for about two years while we were trying to look for a house to buy. We just moved out a couple of months ago. We had a great experience living here. The property was well kept up. The office staff was always helpful and maintenance always came by quickly. We had not lived in an apartment for a long time so it was nice to find somewhere that felt like our in between home.
Been living here a couple of months now. Have not had any issues yet. This apartment is close to my job so it is convenient to get to work. Any time I call the office for maintenance in my apartment, they come by quickly. Always have good parking too.
Staying here for 8 months now.Great place to call a home... friendly front desk.. quick response to maintenance call. Lot of club activities. No regrets.
Quietest apartment I have ever lived in. Very peaceful. Been living here for last 2 years. Staffs are very friendly. All maintenance requests were done promptly. No Complaints whatsoever.
Granite Ridge has been on point, professional and very easy to deal with. The community is friendly and secure, which makes it a livable place for anyone! Keep up the good work.
I moved to North Carolina from out of state and although its only been a few months, I couldnt be happier with my choice of Granite Ridge. I viewed more than 35 apartments in the area and found this one to stand out greatly among the rest. The size and floor plans are by far the most spacious I found. It is in a perfect location between High Point and Greensboro, minutes away from great restaurants, shopping, bars, GSO, I-40 & I-73. While close to so much, its still such a quiet and peaceful area. What I like the most however is the staff at Granite Ridge. They are extremely helpful, friendly and truly focused on tenants needs, safety and comfort in their home. One call or visit and you will experience the same.
I called before I came several times today and no one answered. So I decided to go to the apartment place. When I walked in today the receptionist was on the phone, may have been the manager because she was the only one in there. She remained on the phone holding a casual conversation. I automatically knew this would not be the place for me. Customer service doesnt meet my expectations.
I lived in Granite Ridge for only one year, but that was only because my job relocated me. I LOVED LIVING THERE! The office staff was always friendly and helpful, maintenance always provided exceptional service, my neighbors were extremely friendly, it was quiet, and I the apartment had great space for the price I was paying. I would advise anyone to live out here I was thoroughly impressed.
Nice place, would be better if everyone followed the dog policy and used the doggy bags.
Over the last three years, my family has traveled a lot, and we have lived in four different apartment complexes of which got high ratings and seemed nice -- only to move in an have parties and noise all night...NOT HERE, we have lived here for 4 months while buying a house and have never had a noise issue, a problem or something to complain about. The office staff is top notch and cares about you. The community is pristine in maintenance and if something breaks they have been there before hanging up the phone it seemed. Highly, highly recommend this Community!
Property manager is very rude and unprofessional. BSC Holdings Property Management never returns phone calls and ignores emails. All the property manager cares about is getting you to sign that lease, collect your money, and couldnt care less about any issues you might have. Look elsewhere.. Plenty of better options out there, and for a better price!
I have lived here for a little over a month and I must say the office staff is very professional, helpful, and friendly. The apartment itself is nice and the common areas are kept in pristine shape............. Update....1 year later it is now June 2018. I have been having issues with my AC unit its been about a month now and its still not fixed at this point I feel like Im getting the run around. Keep getting some sorry excuse about the HVAC guy they are contracted with is not reliable and isnt doing that great a job. Bottom line is I dont care. I pay my rent on time and I expect them to do what they are supposed to do. Literally walked in on the new office manager who was bad mouthing me as if I was lying about my AC unit. It is apparent that the owner doesnt want to take the necessary steps to ensure that things are fixed or replaced when needed. Therefore, if my AC unit is not fixed in the next couple of weeks I am leaving. Been going through this for too long. There are other apartments in the area that do a much better job at taking care of their property and tenants. Oh and from what I understand they have a really high turnover with the maintenance crew. Instead of getting rid of staff members why not get rid of faulty equipment when need be...pretty hard to fix things that are on its last leg and needs replacing i.e., a/c units...just saying.
I lived in Granite Ridge Apartments for just one year in a 3-bedroom apartment while finishing school, and I would recommend it. All essential apartment areas were spacious, and the vaulted ceilings on the 2nd floor were a definite plus. The pool was always well-kept, and I always felt safe within the complex. There were often children outside playing, though I never had any problems with noisy neighbors. The fitness center is very minimal, however, and maintenance was not great (leaving lights on and the seat up on my toilet when no one was home, taking over a week to respond to requests at times, and not coming until the next morning when our refrigerator went out at night). My roommate with a dog mentioned there were very few trash cans on the property. Overall, very few complaints and a relatively uneventful year.
Loud as f***. Looking for a quiet place? Keep looking. The mgmt only cares about getting the rent and nothing else. Suck factor TEN. Cant wait to GTFO of this place. Awful.OMG. What a s***hole. If one things not broken, its another. DO NOT RENT HERE. THEY ARE TERRIBLE.Oh. And dont expect a working air conditioner.
Renters beware!!Please do not stay here or at any of BSC Holding apartments. BSC holding is a horrible management company to work with. 1. You will be paying quite a bit for luxury, these specific apartments are not luxury, they are old and have constant maintenance issues. I lived here for 6 mths and could not stay the entire year for many reasons. 3 examples of me needing to leave, the a/c unit would make loud blarriing noises as if the blades would pop out or it would catch on fire. I complained multiple times about this and I kept getting the response that there is nothing more they could do. I was fearful sleeping at night with a unit near my room making such a loud noise. 2. The garbage disposal unit is in the front of the complex and would constantly break down causing people to drop their garbage at the opening of the garbage unit. It would take days for it to be fixed. I have pictures of garbage piled in the front of the garbage unit. 3. They put their residents at risk after number of complaints of a dangerous, racist belligerent tenant, it took a long time to get her evicted. This is unacceptable management for the amount of money you will be paying monthly. There is a lot more issues that I have documented. But I suggest you take your money elsewhere for better service and quality.
If you plan to pay the water bill for the entire apartment complex then move in here, LOL I have lived here for 10 months and lease ends pretty soon, cant wait! This place is overpriced for what it is. Not that nice honestly for the price. And now they have been screwing me in water bills(the bills are paid to the apartment), i lived for the first 7 months with a roommate and our water bill was about $30 a month, now hes moved out and all of a sudden my bills have went up to $70-$80 per month, Im only home 4 days out of the week and only home at night on those days. I barely use the water because im hardly ever home. So you would think there would be a mistake in the billing somehow, talked to the office and they had an inspection done TWO weeks after i told them about it and they said there are no leaks, but still that doesnt explain the water bill going up, they are acting like they dont care after i told them that my water usage only went down since the roommate moved out and the bill going up just doesnt add up. They seem to be ignoring me and this problem and the only resonance they have is: There arent any leaks So basically they are screwing me, either on purpose or just are making a mistake and clearly dont care about it. I already got approved for a new apartment that is cheaper in price and better overall. So I cant wait to move out. Good luck apartment hunting.
Water seeping in under foundation causing mold in bedroom and living room, car window was smashed in and car rummaged through, black soot comes out in when running water from gas waster heater and gates are broken 50% of the time.
Maintenance team is inexperienced and it shows. Pool upkeep was a huge disappointment. Otherwise a descent place
I rented here with my wife...the property manager was rude and they never responded to our maintenance request.
