Don’t waste your college experience here. You can do so much better. Last resort only. You get what you pay for.

Clean, affordable, and great if you’re moving off campus. The apartment complex is decent and the rooms are a good size. Clarke is the property manager and she does a great trying to help everyone as much as she can. She will work with you if you are late on your rent and she is professional. Lived here for a year and have had few minor problems.

Apartments are in a bad neighborhood. Apartments can use some updating so they will be more attractive and office personnel should not procrastinate on business. Office hours doesnt fit the times you can actually reach someone in the office. I hope this apartment complex upgrades in ever aspect or they will continue to lose a lot of their residents.

I’m going to lay it out on why you SHOULDNT move here..first off, the office is closed more than it is open. You’ll barely be able to get in there and talk to someone. They let people park in the handicap spots without a handicap sticker, which is illegal. The smell of marijuana is everywhere. When I moved in, they didn’t even bother to clean my carpet that was filthy, and my room smelled like someone just had a session. I’ve asked the property manager several times to clean my carpet...Theres at least half of the residences who are not even in college who live here. Gillian does not care about the safety of students, she only cares about putting bodies in rooms. And the cameras outside do not work. Don’t be fooled, they’re just for show. They also have a MAJOR bug problem, I have seen spiders, roaches, etc...So if you ever thought about moving here you might want to think again they don’t care for you. Y’all might think because the rent is lower than everywhere else that it’s a good idea but no. You get what you pay for! They only want your money and the overages are ridiculous..I got an overage for $50 and I knew for a fact I did not use that much electricity..jokes. Don’t move here. It’ll be the worst mistake.

The other reviews don’t look too good but I personally have a had a great experience here in regards to management. I moved in November of 2018 and they’ve been nothing but helpful. If I have any questions or concerns, they usually reply to my email within an hour. And when my financial aid was late, they gave me time to scrap up the money to pay that months rent. They do send text messages to let us know about events or if maintanence is being done. If you’ve been late before on rent, they send text reminders...now those can be annoying but hey, you shoulda paid your rent on time, I guess.I haven’t seen a single bug in my apartment and my roommates aren’t super neat when it comes to the kitchen. My only complaints are towards some of the residents here. For example, the dumpster is RIGHT THERE and people will still leave trash beside it when it’s not full. For a minimum of $390/m, this is amazing. and it’s my favorite student housing bc not too much happens over here. I don’t want a block party in my parking lot.

This complex would not be half bad if the property manager had even the slightest bit of professionalism. Clarke is constantly over involved in resident lives. I have spoken with several other residents who say that she borderline harasses them as well. As a property manager you have only one job. That is to manage the property, not to harass the residents. Clarke has meddled in my relationship and insulted my boyfriends weight to his face. Clarke constantly calls my mother over the most trivial things. She has annoyed my mother so much that my mom told her to stop calling. Secondly, Clarkes roommate matching skills are piss poor. I had to switch apartments because my old roommates were extremely obnoxious and filthy, so filthy that the apartment was roach infested. Also, if you are a student, be aware that 99.9% of the residents are locals. I receive text messages from Clarke at least daily. Its just ridiculously annoying. I feel like I cant even exist in peace. She bursts into my room to talk and check up on me whenever I make the slightest noise. My room is right above the office so there is no escaping the harassment. She even harasses my dog! I have a chihuahua registered ESA and hes an alert dog so he barks when people approach me as he was trained to do. She has literally ran out of the office to complain about him barking in the parking lot. The last time I checked ESAs trump all property rules. My puppy is welcomed to bark whenever he damn well pleases! My RAs were not nearly this nosey when I was living on campus! I just believe there are certain rules and codes of conduct that you should govern yourself by as a property manager. Clarke clearly doesnt grasp that concept. So in short, please dont move here, save yourself the headache!

BED BUGS!!!! BED BUGS!!!! I recently had to move home to my mothers house after not living home for 6 YEARs! because the property manager (not the owner) sent me a text message stating that my apartment had been checked for bedbugs and there was no site of bed bugs, but after contacting the inspection company the owner and the individual who inspected the apartment states he did find findings of BED BUGS! So now Ive been told a lie by the property manager on purpose to keep me in the apartment. I also want to make this clear I havent even been in the apartment 1 month yet, and there sittings of bed bugs that they continued to try and cover up, my water didnt work, my carpets where very dirty and the walls had not been painted. When you are going to take on a management job you have to be able to manage, and yes was promised a refund but I moved out on August 16 and still have yet receive my refund. The business practices that are performed at campus east are not professional and the only care about numbers not there residents.
