My left thumb was done beautifully and the right one ruined .The make boss also used the F bomb during my appt. I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years this was a possible prepaid hate crime and I would not trust this nail salon at all.

Erin gives a really nice pedi, he really gets the callouses off. Yep, I have them, bad. However, I wish he would moisturize my feet at the end. Mani was fine, nothing to write home about. And for $60.00...not sure.

This is hands down my favorite place to treat myself to getting my nails done, I highly recommend the dip polish, it lasts forever and never chips.

I we t for a pedicure and shellac manicure, despite the reviews to give it a try. My shellac is still holding beautifully a week later despite frequent hand-washing, etc. And my pedicure was relaxing. I think the nail techs are aware of the recent reviews, because they were very attentive and detailed in the shellac. Ill go back for sure.

Ive been a regular customer here for years! Ive tried a number of other Grand Rapids nail salons - these folks consistently do the best (and often at a lower price). Their shellac manicures always last 2+ weeks. The service is friendly and welcoming. And, they give great foot massages. Enjoy!

Due to low vision, I am not able to cut my fingernails or toenails anymore. How wonderful to find EGR Nails. Professional. Friendly. You feel welcome compared to other salons that do not give you that sense. And you can tell that they appreciate your business. A great experience.

This is the only place I go to get my nails done. Its a cozy atmosphere, especially around the holidays. They are so sweet and kind. The staff get to know you like family, and you always feel welcome and taken care of. The place is clean, and proper. I rate them a 5+ :)

I always get great service here, but today was over the top. Apparently I left my wallet in the store and they tried to track me down at my old address, but I have recently moved. They caught up with me on Facebook messenger to let me know that they had it. Thank you so much for being so thoughtful and ensuring that I wasnt worrying about my wallet. My nails look great too!

Ive been here before and will go back again! The girl who did my manicure was so sweet and we had a great conversation. I got shellac and she put 3 coats on one hand and 2 on the other. I think she forgot the 3rd, but I didnt notice until later. My shellac lasted a while and Ill definitely go back. They have great service and are so sweet!

Great service. I come here often and they are always so kind. Their prices are fair and they do excellent work, on the rare occasion that a mistake is made they fix it right away.

Went in for my birthday. Got a regular mani and pedi. Everything went fine enough until I was getting my nails done. The man doing my nails filed them, buffed them, cut my cuticles but never cleaned underneath them. After he applied lotion and massaged my hands he had me get up and wash my hands. Thats a very odd practice Ive never experienced before. Still, there was stuff underneath my nails. So after the polish was done they felt very stiff and weird because they werent clean. It was also sloppily done, and the edges had polish on my skin as well. The polish starting chipping almost an hr later.

Aaron and Minh are wonderful. They have created a lovely business with excellent service. I love that the TV is on HGTV too. Mani pedi is 40 dollars.

Ive been getting my nails done here 1-2 times a month for the last three months and I wouldnt go anywhere else! Sandy is amazing and such a sweetheart, but everyone Ive talked to there is so friendly and welcoming - they call me by my name now :) would highly recommend!!

My first time there and I had the gel artificial nails put on and they are the worst that Ive ever had done. My nails are uneven. I had to point out that she didnt even paint the whole nail on about 4 different nails. I have 2 nails put on crooked and I told her about it. Instead of fixing it she filed one side down so that the nail is thicker now on one side and the other is thinner. My thumb nail already has paint off of it in the corner and some nails are painted darker than the others. Worst nail job Ive ever had done. Im very disappointed.

Not good at shaping acrylics, salon is very dirty and they use the same files on everyone with no spray of alcohol inbetween usage. Barbicide bottles looked like it had old barbicide (which makes sense because they never dust or sanitize), walls are dirty. Asked for stiletto nails and they gave me almond shaped chicken nuggets. Had an appointment with Minh and waited an additional 40 minutes because they treat everyone like an assembly line of money. Gel was clumpy and it was filthy. That is the main complaint.

This was my first time at EGR Nails & Spa, and the worst experience in a nail salon that I have ever had. When I got there I told them what I wanted, the lady in charge told another lady to start a pedicure bath. She did not get up and do it, so the lady in charge did it. When the lady that was told to do my nails finally came over, she excused away her behavior with the excuse that shes tired and had back pain. Before she even finished she asked if I wanted to pay, I paid and she basically was done with me, but my feet were not done. Two ladies came in to get a mani-pedi and she stopped doing my service and did the both of those ladies and got them in and out of there. She only wanted to put one coat of polish on me and send me on my way. After watching people come in and get their services done and Im still sitting there, I finished my own polish and dried them and left, after watching me polish my own nails and dry them they had the gaul to say thank you as I walk out the door. I wish that I could have given their rating a quarter of a star, thats how badly I was treated.I will never spend my money there again!

GEL NAILS ARE LIQUID, NOT POWDER. They use a powder on you for your gel nails. I am a licensed cosmetologist that doesnt like to do my own nails HOWEVER, I AM educated in this and THEY ARE DECEIVING THEIR CUSTOMERS.

Terrible. My nails were so crooked and they were shellac so i didnt want to cut them. but, it didnt matter anyway because they started chipping the second day.

I had a friend visiting from out of town and another friend recommended EGR Nails. My pedi was supposed to be a Deluxe, I paid more for it. The nail tech (and I believe the owner), was painful when he clipped my toe nails and filed them. He actually drew blood. I was supposed to get a massage with deluxe but did not receive any kind of massage.On to the mani, he talked me into the Shellac, but, it was advertised at $18 with another service, he charged $22. I decided on a french since I dont get my hands done often, and, this was $5 more (but, he did ask me if that was ok). He did a good job on my hands, again, no massage. All in all it was $60 with a tip! I could have gone to a much nicer spa and received much better care. Fortunately, my friend had a little better experience. I will not return, or recommend.

In town for a conference and took a chance on EGR for a mani/pedi.Im glad I did! Lots of regulars were there and it is easy to see why: the salon is clean and bright, staff are professional and took time and care with my hands and feet. Everyone was friendly and accommodating from the first call to see if they could fit me in. The owner, Aaron, even gave me a lift back to town when he realized we were headed the same way! It sure beat waiting for another cab. It may be a couple of years before I head back this way but I know where Ill go for my mani/pedi.

An awful experience: I had her re-do my nails three times and they were still crooked and mishapen. It took her almost 2 hours and when I went to pay their credit processing machine wasnt working and I had to drive around looking for an ATM

Probably the worst nail polish shellac job Ive ever received. I had nail polish all over my cuticles, like a 5 year old asked me to paint my nails. And my nails catch on everything, meaning there was rough edges left on my nails, she did not file them properly before during or even after shellac was placed on my nails. They were friendly, but I cant believe I paid any money for this.

Worst shellac manicure Ive ever received. When I left, I had polish all in my cuticles. I had them done Friday, and they are already chipping and peeling. The lady who did my manicure also kept digging her nails into my cuticles to try and get the polish off, obviously that did not work
