Had my hair done by Ayana today she did a fantastic job! I needed to hide some of the purple tones in my hair and got a beautiful coppery-red. Unfortunately, I didn’t budget enough time and had to bolt before my hair was dry.(I would definitely recommend saving 5+ hours if you have thick hair.) Well worth the price.Thank you! Empire Beauty School is top tier! The educators teach very in depth and show many different ways to learn different topics. The staff is patient, kind, and SO uplifting! No corners are cut around here, and we keep up to date on all things trending, as well as all old techniques! There is no other place I would have wanted to get my education. I have learned everything from professional communication skills to real life scenarios in the cosmetology field! If you’re considering enrolling here, I say do it and begin creating your dream life now!

The students do not do a good job at all. You ask for one thing and come out with another. They are not being train well on different texture of hair. We are paying our money to the program. We should at least get a good job done on our nails, feet, face and hair etc. Most of them are graduated and still dont know a lot at all. They have to either know already or learn on their own.

Today I went in and had my hair done by Danielle J., she was so nice and coming my hair was not a problem for her. I had net had my hair combed in 3 weeks and it was so bad, she was so delicate I could barely feel her detangling . After we went to just defusing and she did a great job bringing out my natural curl. Oh and a nice trim of my undercut, I’m glad someone was able to FADE it for me. GREAT PLACE TO GO!!!! 💛 PLUS IT WAS ONLY 20$!!!!!!!

I looked at several schools before deciding on Empire Beauty School. As a soon to be graduate, I am happy with my decision. I learned more than I imagined I would & I like that they are nationally accredited as well as on top of financial aid. The staff go above & beyond to motivate, inspire confidence & keep things interesting. Whenever I came to the educators with my many questions/ideas, they welcomed and/or entertained them & would help me find solutions or encourage experimentation.The staff have their unique strengths & work together to support each other and the students. Today I got my nails at Empire beauty school and I am very pleased with the results. The student who was going my nails was Destinee k. She was very professional and talked to me during the whole service which I like! I’m very pleased and will most definitely be going back!

Karissa is an excellent person to work with. I’ve never dyed my hair before, but she assisted me in choosing a color that would suit me well and applied it very evenly. I have never gotten more compliments on my hair, and I look in the mirror and love it too! She is also a great stylist and nail artist. I love when she curls my hair, and my toes have stayed pretty for over a month!! Amazing work, Karissa.

Linda did a great job on my nails! She also gave my scalp a wonderful peppermint treatment. The cooling sensation was fabulous! The scalp massage she gave me just made the experience so much better. Did I mention the tight curls she gave me at the end?! I feel like I got a perm haha. Loved it! My hair feels fantastic. I highly recommend Empire for your next services. Save yourself a little cash & help the students get some experience!

I had a pretty decent experience! I worked with Romeo who is actually going to school to become a barber and was asked to flat iron my hair. He was a bit nervous at first and rightfully so, hes a barber. Not to mention, I am a black queen with thick lucious hair! And I mean extra THICK since I am currently expecting my first child. But he took on the challenge and did a decent job. I left with straight hair and overall a good experience. We had good convo and everything. Congrats again on your future graduation young man!!

I got my hair done by Laura Signore and I was so happy with it! I’m so used to going places that just never quite do what I want done but Laura was amazing! She asked lots of questions, clarified what I wanted done and also made great conversation. Also did my families hair and turned out just as great!

I went for a cut and color about two weeks ago. I had SUCH a positive experience. Laura was so accommodating and professional! I had a vague idea of what I wanted - and she absolutely delivered beyond expectations!I got so many compliments and I told them all where I went and to make sure they got Laura!

Happy friendly bright environment! The staff and students were all very welcoming upon entering the building. The stylists were very passionate and attentive about what they were doing. There was a sense of excitement and eagerness to learn and apply. That in itself speaks volumes on how the educators teach and interact with their students. The pricing is fair and the service was great. I highly recommend the school for those wanting to go into the cosmetology world, and I encourage all of us that love to have new styles, colors or perms done to stop by the school and be models for these students.

The enrollment experience at empire was great for me . The career planning specialist and director went into great depth about the courses they offered and made sure it was a smooth and easy experience to get signed up. The school was very clean and organized and the students seemed to love their environment. Amazing experience!!!! I went in to get a perm treatment. They did a test strand and determined it wasnt good for my hair and instead of turning me away like other places have. They figured out a plan to get my hair back to the health it should be! Definitely going to continue to go back!

As a student, Ive never had such good mentors who are so passionate about education without any bias. The instructors are so kind and patient with all of the knowledge and willingness to share what they know. It doesnt matter obstacle is presented, everyone seems to pull together to find solutions. As a client, my services have been so on point, and anything Ive wanted to experience has come true. From a scalp massage, to a color correction, the entire group here has made it happen with so much relaxation. I have zero worries when I enter the doors here in any scenario, whether Im coming here to learn or coming to get pampered, I know Im in fantastic hands.

Al is so wonderful, this is the best hair color Ive ever had done, I absolutely LOVE it! My hair usually is a pain due to it being so naturally dark, but Al managed to get it all lightened the first time. Im so happy with my hair I cant stop staring at it and playing with it.

Amazing! Rozzlon bleached my roots last week and did a phenomenal job. The hair was even throughout the roots and it was so soft afterwards too! She was very professional and I had a great time talking with her the entire time. The time simply flew by, like chatting with a friend. Highly recommend her and this school for your salon needs. I plan on going back when I am in need of a salon again. 🥰

I have gone to Empire Beauty School for several services. Nails, haircuts, color, updo, and eyebrow waxing. I was very impressed at how the students at the school took time with me to make sure they understood what I wanted to have done. They were very professional. It was easy to get in for services. The atmosphere was great. The students seemed happy and very eager to please the customer. Instructors were always available to make sure the student’s questions were answered. I didn’t spend much time at the campus because of covid. Once we returned I finally got a chance to meet the teachers in person, and my classmates. Everyone I’ve worked with are exceptional people. Very nice, and will teach you what you want to learn. The instructors worked with us before State board to take the stress off, and to make it feel like the real thing. That I appreciated. If you want to go get educated, I do recommend Empire on Apline!

I, my daughter and my grand daughter all had our hair cut. I sat with my granddaughter, who is 8 years old, has a hard time holding still, a lady by the name of Dedra did a wonderful job with her kind, understanding and percise. My daughter has a very unusual hair style and her stylist got it perfect, just by the description of the style. I always have my hair up in a pony tail, I decided to try something new. Maybe something short for the summer, so I asked what would look good the suggested a Bob, I had no idea what a Bob was but I decided ok. My stylists name was Jaby and she did a wonderful job. Thank you to all who were involved with our appointments, you did a great job and we will be returning.

Today I will give negative stars for the worst customer service ever. For sending my daughter home with half of her hair done. They didnt finish her hair because they close at 5pm. We arrived at 1:13pm, they started at 1:25pm, and at 4:58pm she came out half hair curls and half fuzzy/wet hair. We cant finish, we cant stay pass 5pm, and we have to leave. I couldnt believe it. It doesnt matter when you leave, you finish what you started.This is not a class lecture that you can continue anytime at home, This is hands-on work. Can they walk around with half of their hair brushed, half of their teeth clean and half of their clothes washed?! Denfinitely NOT. I hope this is not what they are teaching them. Or they are just doing their own thing.Very disgusted, disappointed. When I tried to explain my concerns, the lady at the front counter was rude. 👎👎👎👎👎.

I loved Attending school here! The teachers and staff are super helpful. Empire is like a family there’s no place I rather of chosen. The teachers push you to your hardest. There is so many great opportunities they offer at this school. If you’re struggling with anything they’re always willing to help even if it’s not school related. 😊

My stylist Armani was great! She showed how professional she was and took her techniques very seriously, she took her time and made sure that everything done to my hair was done with 100% effort! I really enjoyed the style I had and I received so many compliments and I was able to brag about the fantastic stylist who did my hair !

I enjoyed my experience here very much. Going to this school has really brought me out of my shell and really helped me find what I’m really interested in with what I want to do for the rest of my life, and has helped me find who I am.

I attended Empire beauty school in order to get my cosmetology license. It’s a great school with amazing educators! As I became closer to graduating they were super helpful on preparing me for my state test and looking for jobs afterwards.

Yciara took her time on my hairstyle. She gave really good communication throughout our appointment. I got really good really good compliments on my hair the next day.

I had a pedicure and the girl was great.She did an exceptional job with the work conditions. Very very limited in choices for color. Also the lighting is horrible for those students to work under. The look is industrial and looks great, but not conducive for work or clients. (Dark). They also do not provide the students with toe spacers or enough chairs. Shame on them..

Asked for 3 inches taken off, they took 6. I didnt really realize how much she took until I got home and was able to look a little closer. My hair is exceptionally long, so it was a little harder to tell at first, but it went from down to my butt to about where my bra band sits on my back. VERY DISAPPOINTING. The shop was also not very clean, there was something sticky on the chair where they wash hair.

Its a very nice school, the teachers work with you every step of the way to make sure that you understand everything and that they know you got it.Highly recommended!!

Decent price, very friendly girls. But awful nail job!! We just wanted a simple, neat manicure, but what we got was completely opposite. We dident have many selection, and nail polish was all over skin!!

I got my hair curled Friday, early afternoon, for a Saturday wedding out of state. I was helping out the bridal party and unable to get my hair done the day of. I told the student my plan to sleep on it and brush it out the day of for some loose curls. She curled my hair nice tight curls and put in plenty of spritz spray. I brushed my curls out Saturday morning, used some hair oil and was good to go!! They lasted allll day. The curls stayed until Sunday evening when I finally washed my hair. The student did an amazing job on my hair!

First time bringing my son for his school haircut they was very nice and did a great job.

If i knew this school was the way it was before i started i would have never attended here. It is by far the worst experience i have ever had in life nothing will make me happy right now but to finish so i can be done with it being at that school makes me not want to do hair anymore and that’s what i love to do. And being African-American makes it 10 times worse because I’m not able to do half the things they let others do !! I have asked the educator here so many times for their bosses phone number to make a complaint and of course I don’t get it because they want to save themselves ( i feel) it is not equal whatsoever at this location and today was just it for me.

Couldnt be happier with my choice of Cosmetology school! All the educators are amazing!!!

If i could leave 0 stars i would. worst haircut experience I’ve ever had. stylist was leaving every five minutes to ask someone what to do and did not cut my hair ONCE! she was cutting the air to make It seem like she was, there was NO hair on the ground when I was finished (and nobody went around with a broom, so if there was hair It would not have been cleaned up yet). never going back. i went for a simple trim and It lasted well over an hour.
