They were the first dental office my boys felt comfortable going to. Knowledgeable, thorough and sweet to my boys. They helped come up with a plan for everyone. All three love it there. Wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

I went in to check out the oral devices to prevent snoring and reduce the effects of sleep apnea. Dr. Floods office and staff are very professional with a friendly atmosphere. Andrea was very knowledgeable and explained everything she was doing and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Flood has a gentle touch and impressed me with his knowledge and experience with this process. He made sure I understood how the device that was best for me could be adjusted and took precise measurements for a comfortable fit. Im glad I came in.

Dr. Flood and his assistants took such great care to ensurethat my SNAP ON SMILE fits perfectly and that I am happy with it.I so much appreciate their care, concern, and professionalism.Im getting used to the Snap On now but am assured that if I needan adjustment, I can return at any time. I was referred to Dr. flood and I called in with an emergency situation. He took the time not only to assist me with my emergency but to answer any other questions I had. Unfortunately there was nothing he can do to save my tooth. I will give him 10 stars because i was very satisfied and pleased with the service I received today. I can finally say that I found a dentist that cares about my teeth and my health before anything and not just trying to see what the insurance will cover and getting it done whether I needed or not.

I had the BEST cleaning today! Amy is the most wonderful hygienist ever! All of the hygienists are awesome and so is Kara up front.

Paternalistic and defensive medicine. Upon scheduling 4 new patient visits for my family, I inquired about xrays being a requirement for small children (3 and 5) who have no dental problems. Cleaning only was requested. I was told ok to schedule and ok to discuss with dentist upon arrival. Staff were extremely kind and professional. Dentist was consulted after I asked we not X-ray my child prior to cleaning. He refused and stated he would not treat either the 3 year old or 5 year old without x- rays “to see what’s going on in there”. I explained I work in healthcare and prefer to limit my children’s lifetime of radiation exposure unless clinically necessary. I considered the xrays for visit #1, but was told they would have to be yearly if under his care. Patient choice/choosing wisely (reduction of unnecessary medical testing) was not considered, but rather alternative drivers such as revenue or defensive medicine certainly were. I thought we were moving in a new direction in healthcare - especially dentistry which is more consumer “elastic” and “shop able”. This practice lost a lifecycle of 4 patients. Only reason I give it a 2 is I liked the staff.

Great staff. They aren’t pushy about x-rays. Most dentists use x-rays as a revenue stream. Dr Flood will not take them unless necessary.

Dr. Flood and all of his staff are very helpful and friendly. They are very knowledgeable in what they do and always professional. I appreciate the type of care and style of dentistry that is practiced.

Snake oil. RUN RUN FOR THE NEAREST EXIT. I don’t have back pain, neck pain or a TMJ defect. But his machine says I do. Testing my arm strength before and after placing cotton rolls between my teeth; miraculously strengthened my arm (I could tell he wasn’t really pushing down on it the second time to indicate improvement in strength). A $600+ bite block is supposed to fix all of my nonexistent pain, my balance, straighten my neck and lumbar spine, reverse the arthritis in my shoulder pain and probably kills my bed bugs and roaches too (lol). This verges on practicing medicine without a license, scam artist or insanity. I was born in West Virginia so I sound like a fool and stupid!! But actually, I have my masters in nursing. Ive had a handful of Dentists in my life and Dr. Flood and his staff are BY FAR the best team Ive ever had the pleasure of going to. Heres why:1. They have an INCREDIBLE understanding if dentistry makes you nervous, especially with procedures that can have high stress levels like root canals. Dr. Flood is the fastest, most detail oriented and precise dentist I have ever been too. Knowing that dentistry makes me extremely nervous, he completed my 1st root canal in ~45 minutes.2. After the new patient exam, Dr. Flood sent me a 7 page report on the state of my dental health and how his team would work with me to accomplish what was important to me. Never before has a dentist cared so much about my personal dental health.3. Dr. Flood is not afraid to recommend you to a specialist. For my 2nd root canal, he saw how much pain I was in and even though he could perform the procedure, recommended I go to a specialist to have it treated. This is an incredibly rare quality in ANY doctor.4. They use top-of-the-line equipment.5. They have excellent holistic practices, including the SAFEST way to remove amalgam fillings and have extensive composite materials testing to see what filling materials work best in your body.6. My hygienist, Angie, is also amazing. Shes sharp, honest, and trustworthy. She is very observant and pays attention to your needs. Many times shes worked closely with Dr. Flood to suggest treatments and courses of action during procedures. Its very clear that there is a high level of professional respect between the two of them.7. The receptionist, Mary, along with the rest of the staff are always bright, cheerful and friendly. They are family!

My child just went to the hospital yesterday to be put under general anesthesia with her new dentist who had to fix all of the damage that was done from having my child under the care of Dr. Flood. Three teeth could not be saved, and needed to be removed and five others needed to be repaired due to his negligence. I would NOT recommend this dentist to anyone.

Another excellent routine check up with a very caring group of people! If you have jaw problems, phobias, etc this is the place to be. Dr. Flood continally stays front and center on any wholistic approaches, changing procedure recomendations, etc. He answers questions completely and honestly. If you have any concern about your present dentist/orthodontist/TMJ doctor, Id strongly suggested an appointment with the best!
