Would not release my x ray records to me. I got bullied by the assistant and dentist. I paid via my insurance haha….find a better office

Contemporary Family Dental is very fast and professional. They have good bedside manner and are always sure to explain everything thoroughly and answer any questions you have. Their fillings use a resin substance that is more flexible than metal - much better than previous experiences.

This is the worst a dental clinic i have ever seen, I scheduled my first appointment to clean my teeth at first time they said No cleaning it just check up on your teeth!!!the dr. Said you need 3 filings.after that I paid 256$I asked what you gonna do next time they said cleaning at second appointment then after that 3 filings, a second appointment I got half of my teeth cleaned ?!!!I haven’t seen in my life any dental clinic do half of the teeth cleaning then they charged me 681$Thanks for that bad experience!!!

BEST dental office ever!!! They did THREE fillings for me in TWENTY MINUTES. I was blow away. I felt like I was at a nascar pit stop they were so efficient and smooth. My teeth look outstanding!

Contemporary Family Dental advertises themselves as a judgement-free practice and they follow through on that promise! I hadnt been to see a dentist for several years, but everyone was warm and welcoming and not once did I feel any negativity or judgment from the staff. Dr. Yared was easygoing and we chatted and joked through my exam. A fantastic practice with a friendly and kind staff!

As a first visit, my experience was 90% great & the rest was nerves! The staff & Dr. Yared made me feel at ease and worked with me as a team member.I would expect a long relationship.

I really hate going to the dentist, but I know its something I have to do if I want to maintain good health. This was my first visit to Contemporary Family Dental, and I must say they are amazing. The staff was very helpful and friendly. My dental hygienist was very good, and paid close attention to every detail. Although I had a simple cleaning, I look forward to having my other dental issues corrected as soon as possible.

They are outstanding. I needed to be seen ASAP and they got me in the next day. Referred me to get a root canal done the next day. Came in a week later and had my filling out in. It was so fast and painless. Have my cleaning scheduled for October. Front staff is extremely friendly and helpful explaining costs when I had questions.

Like many folks, going to the dentist makes me very anxious. This last Sunday, one of my molars chipped off so I looked for a dentist that is covered by my insurance. Contemporary Family Dental was able to get me in the following Monday to look at my tooth and then was able to get me in for a root canal the following Thursday. The staff was very kind and not judgmental.

They rescheduled my appointment four times without notice. I even showed up to the dentist office and thats when I found out they rescheduled my appointment. I understand a mistake but when it happens four times its just disrespectful especially with no notice not even a phone call.

My first visit was this past November at my husbands recommendation. Hes been going there for years and has always been impressed with his care, and I could quickly see why! The staff is INCREDIBLY polite and accommodating, I received a welcome gift bag, & a tour. My hygienist asked about my family and what I do for a living and made me very comfortable. They continually talked to me about what procedures they were doing and why. I was fitted for a bite splint and the technology was incredible! They even provide a Comfort Menu of services like a warm blanket or massage chair, which I took advantage of! I had a filling done in December and it was truly quick and painless. 10/10 would recommend!

This is the nicest dentist office I have ever been in! Everyone was so nice and professional. I was given a tour, all the procedures were explained to me and they made me feel super comfortable. The dentist chairs were also massage chairs and they give you a complimentary menu with sunglasses, pillow, chapstick, etc to make you feel as comfortable as possible.Best dentist appointment Ive ever had. Im excited for my next visit.

What a great experience! If there was a star rating for Dental offices like there is for hotels this would be a five star office. You can tell they really pay attention to the customer experience. From the cleanliness of the office, to the smily faces, to the friendliness of the staff, everything was great! I just found my new dental office and trust me I have been to a few and nothing tops this experience.

For me, a dentist is a dentist and a doctor is a doctor. As long as they do their job, I dont care much about the differences between them. At least, that was the case until I went to Contemporary Family Dental. Every time I have an appointment, their welcoming, professional, courteous staff make the experience wholly enjoyable from check-in to checkout. I always feel completely comfortable when I have an appointment and have never been anything less than completely satisfied and confident that they have done the highest quality work.

Contemporary Family Dental has so many extras to make you feel comfortable, but I feel like you pay for every single one in the long run. They cant ever give you a proper quote right, and they charge $15 for PPE due to COVID-19 when all they did was change their glasses and normal face mask for a face shield. Im moving on to a simpler dentist.

This office is really special. There is an extraordinary level of care and effort that goes into every patient visit. I have not yet had any major procedures done here yet, but if I ever do require that, I’ll feel confident knowing the staff at Contemporary holds themselves to a high standard and will get it done right.

Contemporary has decided to elevate the experience of visiting the dentist. I was most impressed by their comfort list, full of things like ear plugs, chair massager, blanket, etc to make your cleaning or other procedure less of a pain. The sunglasses to mitigate the brightness of the light while getting a cleaning was a nice touch, too. Everyone was very friendly and Id happily recommend this office to anyone.

Contemporary Family Dental is great! The staff is friendly and takes the time to get to know you, they have modern technology to really show you the health of your teeth, and they make you comfortable throughout the entire visit (they even have blankets if youre cold!). I really enjoy the staff and experience here.

Contemporary Family dental is a great place. They have worked with me to allow me to get much needed dental work for my self, my wife, and my children. It is sometimes hard when one is on a limited budget, but they have been awesome in helping me schedule visits so I can budget it.

It was a great place! Everything was clean and I loved the way all of my questions were answered with detail. I’m usually quite nervous about going to the dentist but their up to date equipment and genuine concern - and amazing service - helped me get through a usually unpleasant dentist trip.

I went in for a appt. They took my wrist temperature which was 93.7 degrees. Never had wrist temp taken. Has any one else ever had this done? Just curious.

Great staff and Dr. Yared is excellent too. Everyone takes time to make you feel comfortable. Ive had two appointments here so far and have been very pleased both times.

My daughter and I have been going to Contemporary Dental for a couple years now and we love it. They have a great bedside manner. The whole office is up to date. Great friendly staff. My daughter is only 7 and she loves going there to get her teeth cleaned and to make sure she doesnt have any sugar bugs! They also have affordable teeth whitening. I have never had a problem with long waits for appointments. All around great place! I recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist office.

I love this place! They have the latest technology and I always feel like they care about my total health and not just my teeth! This place is a complete scam. Went in for first visit because it was closer than my previous dentist. I went in for the basic 6 month visit with no issues and was told I needed 4 fillings. I’ve only ever had one filling in my life and told the doctor I was shocked and he just repeated I needed 4 fillings. Then my husband went in right after me, he has never had a filling and had no issues... he was also told he needed 4 fillings.So I went back to my old dentist with my xrays for a second opinion and she said I did not need any fillings! And neither did my husband!Be aware that they are money hungry. Don’t let them drill your teeth for no reason.

Excellent Dentistry and Staff! From the very first time I walked in the office, I knew I was in great care. I felt extremely welcomed by the front office staff. My dental hygienist took me back and explained everything that she would be doing for the visit. My dentist did the same and answered all of my questions that I had. If you are one that’s scared of the dentist, no need to be of Contemporary Family. They truly are amazing and care about their patients.

I love this office! My wife and I both come here for care, and our kids go to the pediatric office in Hudsonville. Everyone I have ever worked with there is friendly, professional, and courteous. When you arrive at the chair, youre met with a comfort menu with several complimentary offerings just to make you feel more at ease. Billing is always handled quickly and accurately, Ive never had to wait at an appointment time, and scheduling appointments has always been easy.

We love Dr. Yared. The hygienists weve worked with have always been thorough and very customer-service oriented. The office staff is helpful.

I was told today that the two crowns done at CFD should be replaced due to irritated tissue and poor margins. Not sure what margins are yet, but I know I get more food packed around them than before. Also nervous about flossing since I popped them off more than once. Staff was great. Work...could be better.

They provided a very refreshing and calming experience despite my rambunctious 2 year old. They caught a lot of what my former dentist hadn’t and addressed it right away. I plan to stay here for a very long time!

Very nice except of the fact that they do not have the billing department together! Have been billed multiple times for the same bill that I have already paid. They have given me the bill amount, which I pay and then next time that I visit they say that there is a significant amount that I still own. Something very sketchy is going on and most often if feels like they are cheating you out of your money. I very much question the ethics.

Poor communication skills and not forgiving when they know they made a mistake. I wont bore you with details but waited 6 weeks for a retainer they said would take 2 weeks and then made excuses for why it was late when they later finally admitted it was their own fault. I asked for the $58 balance to be written off from my account for all the troubles but they refused to do so. I will be going elsewhere from now on as they clearly prioritized the $58 bill over keeping me as a customer

Its been many years since I visited the dentist but the staff here made me feel EXTREMELY comfortable and welcome. I received a tour of the office and full explanation of what they were doing. I really appreciated their kindness and the extra time they spent just to get to know me. I would HIGHLY recommend them to a friend.

I went for the free dental day and it was excellent! Waiting outside was not but once I saw how small their waiting room was, I could understand why they had people wait outside for a while, haha. I have a very small amount of dental coverage for the year but I really liked this place and will be going back for an exam this upcoming Friday!

This is an excellent dental office with the latest in technology and a very knowledgeable staff. They do an excellent job at keeping patients relaxed by being on time and offering a menu of relaxing items to help with the experience. Great Job!

I would highly recommend Contemporary Family Dental. I have only had good experiences here, especially with the dental assistants. I can be a difficult patient at times since I find dental procedures very uncomfortable, but all of the personnel have been very accommodating and pleasant during all my appointments :)

Very nice office, good location, friendly and professional staff. I didn’t like that they did not mention that I was out-of-network with my insurance going to their office. I should have asked instead asked more directly than just do you take my insurance.Like I said, the biggest thing is not letting me know that my insurance was out-of-network. If I known of course I wouldn’t of gone there but I would’ve saved a lot of money over the past three years! I suppose the blame can’t all be on them but they could see that information and didn’t tell me.

Have been coming here for close to 3 years now after searching around town for a family dentist. After many horrible experiences I found contemporary family dental and they are like family. My 8 yr old ask to go to the dentist and my 13 yr old doesnt mind. I have a major fear of the dentist and once I get in the office (if I keep my appts) they make it painless and perfect. Ive recommended to everyone I know.
