We had Duncan from Grapids out to check on our HVAC system in March. He spent over an hour explaining our options to us and they were even able to have someone come out to repair the very next day (didnt work for us because we would be out of town). When our system began acting up in September, we called to have them come back out. Luke came out and was amazing at explaining to us what needed to be done with our unit. He said we would need someone to come out to quote us and we requested Duncan. Duncan again came out and went above and beyond what we could have ever expected at explaining to us yet again what to expect with Grapids service. We ended up having our AC and heater completely replaced by Eric, Aidan and Sam who were phenomenal. Overall, the company was such high quality and we are very happy with our choice to have Grapids take care of our home needs. Highly recommend.

Bobby was on time and very friendly as well as informative. Gave us an update on what our future needs are most likely going to look like, and we openly discussed how to best accomplish those needs.*This season of covid has changed our employment statuses and used up all our savings,, so we are back to square one on affording or financing a purchase of this extent at this time.We are very grateful for the maintenance visits this membership provides.

Our technician, John, worked all afternoon to troubleshoot our faulty hot water heater. When we both concluded that this was fruitless and needed to replace, he worked hard to prioritize our case, get an installation lined up for Saturday morning and make sure that we were delighted with the service. We most definitely were and have been thrilled with Grapids service since we started with them last year. Fantastic customer focus and great technical understanding!!

Max, Justin and Mitch where all super helpful. Mitch was fast and efficient on cleaning my furnace. Max and Justin were helpful in inspecting and providing maintenance on the furnace/ac I had installed by Grand Rapids Heating and Cooling last year. I was apprehensive at first, I had scheduled the appointment and forgotten to tell my husband. So he was out fishing when our technician arrived. However, Alex was phenomenal. He took time to show me pictures of the inside of my heating and cooling units and explained the issues so that I was able to understand. He was courteous, polite and wore covers on his shoes without my asking him to. He was not pushy when he explained my repair choices and respected my decision. I cannot say enough about how great my experience was with GR Heating and cooling.

Our AC wasnt performing the way that it should on a Friday. We called Grapids Saturday early morning and they set us up with the next open available time for a technician to come and do a thorough inspection of everything, inside and out, same day. By noon, I received a text from Tanner saying he was on the way! Im very happy with his professionalism, he didnt mind me watching over his shoulder and asking several questions while he was here. Explained everything he was doing, what my readings were for our equipment. Friendly, straight forward service. Able to make follow up appointments for other services quickly without long wait times. Will recommend to family/friends.

As others have pointed out, this company has a staggering amount of 5 star reviews in a very short period.My experience started out fairly positive but during and after the install, that took a nosedive.The install techs were sloppy and unprofessional. If you work from home and have any meetings planned, be sure you stay on mute otherwise an occasional swear word or laugh will be heard by others in your meeting. I hate sounding like a prude, but I just cant chance the wrong person hearing the wrong word and then I get canned.After the work was complete, I was still working and wasnt able to give my full attention. After they left and I was done with work, I went and checked out the mess. Check out the pictures if you want to see the craftsmanship. They also left a light dangling from the ceiling.To their credit, when I reached out to the sales guy, he responded quickly. They had someone come out to try and clean it up as much as possible. Thats why I gave two stars instead of one.I wanted to wait a few months before I did a review but we just had the free checkup today. They sold us a required component that was never offered or brought up during the initial install. His excuse for missing it was they are mainly focused on finishing the install, which makes perfect sense judging by my first experience...I would not recommend this company to friends or family.

Had some techs come over to inspect my house. Justin and Max were great people to have. Straightforward, helpful and not pushy. They showed me everything necessary to get things up to speed on the condition of my appliances and system. Thorough and educational, I would recommend them for sure.

Ive never had a salesman that does a more thorough inspection of things as Duncan to make sure there would be no surprises. The installation of my new furnace, air conditioner and hot water heater was flawless. They started and finished when they said they would. All of the insulation crew was very polite and courteous of my house. They also have a seasonal system check program that Im looking forward to taking advantage of.

My AC unit was not functioning. We called Grapids for the AC repair. To repair the AC, they insisted on inspected all of our equipment and provided a repair estimate for $13,000. The AC unit was not repaired and the inspection was $97.00. The tech then referred us to the Grapids comfort consultant. The consultant visited and provided a gold standard proposal for $23,000. I could go on with the story. Net out,, I called another provider to look at the AC. Result - it was repaired with a simple capacitor replacement. The repair was $101. I then had my furnace and AC replaced for $8.700. I feel sorry for those you are not discerning. Wow...

We knowingly paid top dollar for what was expected to be top quality service. We had our furnace replaced, water heater replaced, and a new AC installed. The water heater’s gas line had a leak when they left (they didn’t perform gas leak test or bubble test upon installing new pipes), I had to ask for my 20 year old gas valves to be replaced (for some reason that isn’t standard on new installs for this company), they didn’t reseal the water heater exhaust vent (when they came back out after I called, they just put new silicone over the old, no cleanup), they didn’t seal the electrical wires leaving my basement going out to the new AC (it was behind the electrical box so maybe they didn’t think I’d notice?).We made the installation as easy as possible. We removed the basement ceiling so they could easily run everything, we supplied them with water bottles, pop tarts, and individual bags of chips to keep morale up during their work day.It should’ve been an easy 5-star customer. By no means am I a professional, which has me worried there’s plenty more wrong I didn’t catch. My friends mentioned they wouldn’t have noticed anything but the gas leak.At this point, I wouldn’t recommend to family or friends.The attached photos show:1. Left side is the new hole they made and sealed, the right is the water heater exhaust they didn’t seal up2. That’s a junction with soapy water to show the gas leak they left the house with (you could easily smell it when you opened the door)3. Behind the electrical shut off box, the hole with wires coming out from the house was not sealedUpdate: all has been fixed and even follow up appointment to check the system for the 3 year service plan has already been performed. Good company, good employees, just a one-off experience if I had to attest to the original post.At this point I would recommend their services

Grapids did an awesome job and far exceeded my expectations. Our A/C went out on a Sunday night, The after hours receptionist t took my info, and later Sunday night Grapids contacted me stating they would be to my house in the morning. The tech was there at 8:15AM Monday, and explained the issue with my old system and options to resolve it. I choose to talk to a sales rep, who came out an hour later. The Grapids salesperson, David, did a very nice job explaining the many options in systems and financing options with a no pressure delivery. Knowing my system was going to need to be changed out in the near future, I choose to do it all at once, as well as the 19 yr old water tank. To my surprise, they could do it the next morning. Tuesday morning at 8AM, the team arrived. After a short tour of the furnace area, they gave me an estimated time they would be done. They quickly went to work, and did a fantastic job of protecting our home from any damage or messes that typically can happen doing this work. What I really loved was how they definitely thought of how to lay out the new system and the whys. The furnace and water tank area has a much cleaner look to it, and is easier to get around then in the past. It took almost 12hrs, but they finished near the time they estimated. Even though it was a long, hot day for everyone. They did not leave until all my questions and concerns addressed. A few hours later our home was cool as can be.Everyone at Grapids should be commended with their ability to communicate with the customer. At no time, was I left hanging on any of my open questions. Their ability to respond and attention to detail were fabulous. We are very pleased.

Having a boiler error code intermittently shut it down. I had it evaluated twice by another service earlier this year who could not identify a problem. We’ve used Grapids Heating & Cooling for years and they are ALWAYS thorough and professional. Mitch was at my house today and did an exceptional job. He explained everything and showed me what I should and should not do with different aspects of my furnace. He warned me about possible issues that may arise in the near future, but was not pushy to get me to spend money or repair anything that did not need it. I highly recommended Grapids!

Grapids has always done a great job for me. They have installed a new water heater and a new furnace/AC unit in the past. Dallon performed a routine inspection this week and he was very thorough.

Techs are always knowledgeable and friendly. They are on time with appointments, and let you know when they are on the way. Company sends out reminder texts for system checks, and discounts when available. My AC runs like a champ after 2 years, so no complaints.

I’ll start with the good. The guy who came out to do an A/C tuneup was very professional and knowledgeable. He then suggested having a comfort advisor come out to quote a new A/C unit. She was very professional and is a great saleswoman. Now the bad.... The tech was scheduled to come around 12 to 2, but didn’t arrive until 4pm. Not a great start. All I needed was an A/C tuneup, but then checked out our furnace and water heater (fine I’ll take your free check up with that) but then advised we have several issues that needed to be fixed with all three. Need a new water heater (false), need a new furnace (false), need a new A/C unit (somewhat true). Long story short, received a quote after an hour and half comfort advising (she did a great job explaining and trying to sell) but quote for A/C was $10K+ but a package of that with Furnace is $12K to $15K based on add on features. My dad just had his A/C unit installed for around $3,500 from a very reliable company. Great tune up, great advice, not great price. Huge scam by the owners thinking their prices are even reasonable. Waste of time

Grapids provided 5 star service from beginning to end. Michael the Service technician was thorough in explaining what was causing our system to run poorly. 20 year old set up needed replacing. Duncan the salesman was over within the hour to walk us through the sales process and get us set up with what we needed at a fair cost. He was trustworthy, not pushy or trying to up sell us with add ons. Brent and Chase were here first thing in the morning and got everything installed in one day. They went above and beyond expectations. Everyone was very professional and did an outstanding job!

Erik and Tom came out to service my hot water heating system. They were polite, on time, and extremely knowledgeable about my furnace. Erik showed me exactly the places that had problems. Since my furnace is old and I might have to replace it, he also told me about different new furnace options. They were very professional and I would recommend this company.

Mitch was fantastic. Came out for a tune up for some critical damage to a water heater, and was able to obtain and install a whole new one that same afternoon. Very helpful and capable.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Grapids. Theyre professional and responsive. The techs they send out are knowledgeable, professional, work quickly, and dont give me a high pressure sales pitch on upgrades (they do make sure I know what my options are - like air purifier systems or surge protectors - but I never feel pressured). Pricing is competitive as well. I did join their service partner plan earlier this year and its already paid for itself.

Hunter was great! I was running late because I got stuck at work and had to pick my child up and he gave me time to get there and was awesome! He was very thorough and let me know about what all he was going to be doing how long it would take and was very personable! The appointment was quick and the price was pretty good. I am waiting on one more quote to come back before deciding on who will be doing the vents, but as far as our first home goes and first time doing this Hunter made this process quick and easy! We had to unexpectedly get an entire system update, Grapids was prompt at addressing and resolving the our issue. Our installation happened the day after and was just a single day install and haul off the old parts! I felt the price was fair for the labor and tier of appliances we were purchasing. Bret and Eric explained everything clearly, we’re very professional, and left our home clean and tidy! Kristin was also very helpful at getting the processing going and explaining our options. This company cares a lot of their customers and it shows from simple phone calls to in-person services. Thank you!

I use GRapids Heating and Cooling for all of my heating and cooling needs. They replaced my furnace when my furnace stopped working and came out almost immediately. I pay $15 for a monthly service now and they come out for free and perform cleaning and maintenance checks every 3 months. Every time they come out they are extremely professional and friendly. I can really tell they care about what they do and are not out to just make money off from you.

Technician, Kyle, was professional and thorough.This was a spring heating and cooling checkup. Kyle made sure to address any questions I had.Went over the paperwork making sure I knew all the functions that were preformed. I recommend Grapids heating and cooling and Kyle.

A/C unit quit working - we were able to reach a tech at 7:30pm and someone was out to us within the hour! Nearly 3 hours spent trying to fix that night + no charge. A senior tech returned the following day - couple of additional hours of work - all problems resolved. Professionally cleaned the unit and charged us nothing for the entire repair / both visits. I had a quote done by Taylor on Friday and the new install for a furnace and AC was scheduled for the following Tuesday already. I was impressed. All of the people I interacted with at the company were professional and friendly. I will be a return customer!

Company tried to sell me $8400 in repairs for my furnace and central air, and advised me it would cost $12,000-$15,000 to replace both. I was able to purchase a new furnace and central air unit with installation and a 10 year warranty from another company for $6200. Very disappointed in the price gouging from Grapids, however it was my fault for not reading their reviews first because this is standard practice with this company. I will not recommend them to anyone.

I called around 1:30 pm with a non emergent issue and they were able to send service before 3:00pm. Jake and Alex were wonderful, they explained everything to me in terms I understood, didn’t push any additional services on me and kept me informed as to what they were doing along the way. They knew my baby had just gone down for a nap and asked for permission to any maintenance that might have been loud before they did it which was just such a kind courtesy. We will be having them come out to our new house once we move because we were so pleased with their service, prices, and additional maintenance coverage. I tend to only leave reviews if the service was deplorable, or above and beyond, because I’m lazy. But they were above and beyond. Highly recommend!

This place is a scam. I have over 30 years in income property and contracting. They came out for their special 20 tune up and said I needed a new hot water heater and a new AC unit. Wanted around 11k to do the work. Thats at least 2x the cost. Wouldnt give me a copy of my quote. They use high pressure used car sales man techniques, like we have an opening tomorrow well give you an extra 10% off. Had a quality heating and cooling company come out and all my equipment is fine, added 1lb of refringent to my AC cost less than $100, these jokers said I needed over 10lbs, lol. Id love for you guys to respond because I dont have enough middle fingers for you. Youre SCUM BAGS. Any time you want a free jiu jitsu lesson you have my address.

Bryce was great! We have a maintenance contract with GRapids, and so our maintenance visit was no charge. Bryce made some recommendations for surge protection, which we will consider. Bryce was friendly, professional, and patient.

The service tech Kyle Vanweinen was very professional and informative. He checked my AC, furnace and water heater and was very straight forward. He told me what needed to be replaced and made suggestions on some other things that were getting old but wasn’t overly pushy.
