I have been to this location probably 4 times in the past few weeks and every time the young guy either ignores me, tells me to come back in a hour because they are going on lunch or say it’s going to be an 30min- hour wait until they can get the next car and he is always rude when he says it and rolling his eyes. I just need air in my tires and I am waiting 20 mins and the people are just standing there looking at me. I am a nurse and work my hardest everyday to help people in need and believe I deserve a little more respect then this location provide especially with all the money I have spent as a customer here! Very disappointed.

Wow! I am so impressed by this location’s service. I pulled up just to get a quote for a tire air screw & to have someone look at my tires and air pressure because I travel so much for work. I went to get oil change . I showed him my coupon from the internet for 50% off. He said that I could not use that because they were out of regular oil and all they had was synthetic and the coupon couldn’t be use toward that . Needless to say I did not get my oil change. I felt like that was bait and switch. Very disappointed.

They did an oil change and a tire rotation on my 2011 Nissan Frontier. . The tire rotation took a little longer than I might have thought it should, but no big deal. But this evening I got a check engine light that will not extinguish. So I will be bringing it back first thing tomorrow morning. The oil change was performed on 20 October. So only a few days ago. Perhaps there is no connection. But we will find out. Edit - I brought my truck in and they addressed the issue with the light promptly and it was resolved.

The is the worst service location among the other valvoline I have visited. Never ever visit this again. They are out of most the oils and the staffs are not welcoming too.

For a supposed to be 15 minute oil change, i waited in line for over 2 hours and only had 3 cars infront of me when I pulled in. If the parking lot wouldnt have been backed upand I could have turned around and went somewhere else I would have unfortunately I couldnt because of cars being behind me. After watching 3 cars that were actually originally behind me get to skip me and go through Bay 2 for an Oil change(the same exact service I needed) I decided to call and talk to the manager. He didnt seem concerned at all nor did he even come to my car with a simple apology. I am not pleased at all with the service at the southaven location at all today.

Went in for a oil change and when I was getting everything checked the guy told me my belt next to the oil was going to break and had said if I dont get it fixed asap my vehicle would possibly blow up. Went next door to get it checked out and turns out it was just fine. Poor coustomer service. I know Im a young women but this was so uncalled for. I dont think this was a simple mistake.

They said my friends car would blow up? She went and got another opinion and everything was fine. I’ve been there and never had problems but now I do not trust this business at all! Lying is not okay.

Be careful, they put the new oil from a old open thank, then they claim that the synthetic oil is kept in those old thank, It is a scam! Always ask to see the brand of the oil they are pouring.

Oh my goodness! I just went to Valvoline in Germantown for the first time yesterday - first time at that location & first time at a Valvoline. AMAZING! The 4 guys working were so sweet and nice to me & my son. My son, 4, LOVED the experience of being in the car & seeing all the tools, etc. The guys working talked to him & answered his little questions. They were quick, courteous & knowledgeable. They worked well together & it was a well run operation. We will definitely be going back!

Quick and excellent service always. My usual place to get service and oil change. Usually wait until I get coupons because they are a little more expensive but I know what I am getting there and I dont with other service stations.I have never had bad service at the one on Poplar at Germantown Rd. Be carefulgetting out traffic sometimes heavy in that area. 5 stars

Ive been going here for a while and it was fine until today. The manager was not very helpful or nice and he yelled at me and threatened to not service my vehicle because of an oil leak and call his boss about my car being a danger to his staff. He and his colleagues need to learn how to handle this situation. They just yelled and got mad at me like I had done something wrong. Ive brought this car here several times before and never had this happen. He didnt offer any help or advice or service. He only offered me with threats not to service my car. I understood the concern, but what did he want me to do about it. It was the most unprofessional experience I have had in a very long time. I wont be going back.

Fast service but a tad high on prices

I always change my own oil, this is the first time I have brought it into a shop because I was out of town. This place tries to take money from you and tell you things are necessary to replace on your car when they aren’t. They told me that Hondas absolutely need synthetic oil (which is 20-30 dollars more than regular oil) and I said no I just want non synthetic. He then said I have two types of oil for your car and both are synthetic. I told him once more that I want non synthetic and he said okay but it’s really bad for your engine. (Which it is not at all). He also told me I need a new air filter and new wiper blades. The air filter you can literally clean out with an air compressor and I just replaced my wiper blades a month ago.To top it all off they told me that I should definitely come back in 2000 miles because the oil they used is so bad for my car. (Which it is not)If I could give 0 stars I would.

I had wonderful service when I stopped by this morning. A co-worker recommended the place, as I am normally weary about taking my car anywhere because I seemed to get screwed every time. I had to wait a few minutes to get serviced, but my oil change took no time. Ayden was very kind in sharing, and not pushing, other services my card will need soon. Ive been duped too many times before and this was a refreshing experience!

DO NOT TRUST the assistant manager he only tried rudely to upsell the customer He claims to be an expert because he is an engineering student in college. He refuses to tell you if any coupons are available even when you ask. So when I told him I had a $19.99 coupon in my phone he responded with attitude about who didn’t show it to him before he started trying to sell a $70 oil change going down to a low of $39. I am sure his mother is so proud of how he helps people (sic). He spends the next 5 minutes screaming in the shop and I felt threatened so I waited outside, then another employee asks about a problem. So after I explain he says the “regional manager will write them up” if they mention coupons. Wow I am sure the RM is a real “Horses Rear End”. So this “helpful guy” proceeds to ring me up at $39. Even after all the hassle he prentened to not remember the coupon we discussed( I know he pretended because he could not be too stupid to remember). So I had to remind him of the coupon we had discussed 5 minutes before.In this location the employees like to play make believe “brain surgery”. They scream and bark commands about yellow lines, Bays, and pressure: guess they like to to little boy pretend games, like brain surgery .Don’t TRUST THIS Company WITH YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!

NEVER HAD A PROBLEM UNTIL THIS TIME. I went here about a month ago just to get my oil changed. First, they said I had a massive oil leak and that it was going to be at least $1,200. I asked why I couldnt see any oil on the ground in my drive way and they made up some crazy excuse that I wouldnt be able to see it for some reason. They carried on by telling me that I needed a bigger battery for my truck and told me I shouldnt drive my truck at al until they fixed itl. I took it to Jones right next door the next day and he charged me $68 and told me he had no idea what they were talking about. I waited to do this review just in case my truck had problems, but after a month, and about 1,400 miles later, not a single problem. THANK YOU JONES! NEVER GOING BACK TO ANY VALVOLINE

Stopped in to what was my usual oil change location 8/14; as I departed, the vehicle began to hesitate which did not concern staff as they directed me out of bay. As I continued on my way to next appointment, it continued. Luckily, I made it to next stop only to have hesitation resume as I began next step of my day. Not trusting what was happening and since I rely on the vehicle for my livelihood, I stopped at nearby local dealership.I had to precure a rental to accomplish tasks necessary while I left vehicle in their care to diagnose problem. In the end, it turns out Valvoline staff knocked a hose out of place which could have had disastrous effects had it not been taken care of.$100.00 for an oil change, $75.00 to diagnose and fix problem created by Valvoline and $50.00 for rental - it will be a while before I go back. . . . A long while.

I came to this location for an oil change and this location did not accept its own websites coupon so instead of paying the 19.99 i had to pay $40 or so. The problem didnt stop there. I brought my own 5qt oil. We told them we just had an issue where a different company overfilled the oil by a qt and had to wait for that particular company to fix the issue which that company did. Before leaving the gentleman showed me the fluid level and me not knowing about cars but trusting the worker it was nearly a full qt above the full line when he showed it to me before my car moved or was turned on. When i took the car home so my dad could get a good look at it, it showed at the exact same level, about a qt over the full mark. We came back to the same location so they could fix this issue and they would not help us and said it only showed at that mark because we drove the car. The only problem is, as i mentioned, the mark was at the same location when the employee showed me immediately after the oil was changed. Then another gentleman showed us a look of being displeased with our problem that we did not cause yet paid for and said theres no way its above bc he only put 4qts and not the 4.2 that my vehicle required in the first place. The only way this could be possible is if the oil wasnt fully removed. If he put 4qts and it was right under 5 qts then the only possible thing is if they didnt fully remove all the oil before adding more oil to my vehicle. They wouldnt listen to us about this problem and just tried to shush us away saying its where it needs to be even tho its almost a full qt above full. We have to take it to another place just to have this issue fixed so im paying for 2 oil changes just bc this company and location wouldnt do it right the first time nor would they fix the issue they caused.

In the past, I had nothing but great experiences. I tried to go in this week for a battery and an oil change. The manager immediately started yelling at his co-worker that he probably didnt even have the battery for my truck. Then he started yelling about some corrosion on my battery terminal. This went on for a minute or two. He continued to yell that I was going to have to go to a dealership and then very condescendingly said that they were going to charge me an arm and a leg. Then they sent me on my way with no new battery. I will never go back. The manager was obviously in some sort of mood because it was the end of the day, but customers should not have to put up with it.

I usually pay $30-50 for oil change but their oil change service plus cabin filter change were $104 included $10 discountI was really feeling bad and I would better go other store and get the filter from autozoneToo expressive!

As of 9/16/18, I have never came to a place that has an entire crew that does not want to work, they avoided me the entire time, so I just took my business to jiffy lube,in which I had a much better experience, and I will never return to this vavlorine in Germantown, they are lazy and unprofessional.
