Man, I never do this. Like ever. I think Ive written one other Google review in my life, but as a person who has struggled with extreme anxiety and depression for years, I feel a duty to warn. My provider left without letting me know. Mindpath did contact me to say that they would refill my meds and set me up with someone else, but after days of trying to get them to fill a prescription and return a call, Im done. This isnt the first time things have gone south for me with Mindpath either. I dont blame my former provider, but this place is a serious racket. If you need help, look elsewhere.
Both Christina Thomas (licensed nurse practitioner) and Lori Richardson (LSW), provide thorough, knowledgable, genuine care for me as a client. The care is comprehensive, and these two women supplement each other so nicely, and in doing so meet all of my needs. I highly recommend them to all of my friends and loved ones...and to anyone out there who may be struggling, or needs friendly, care. Be ready to be dazzled with good insight.
I’m a Patient of Kimberly McGrady with Mindpath. I have seen numerous therapists during my life, and she is by far the best. She listens and remembers specific details that I have shared with her. Kimberly McGrady has been doing this for a long time, and has shared with me her personal knowledge of how and why specific situations have effected me in certain ways. I cannot begin to express how thankful I am to have found a therapist who is genuine, compassionate, trustworthy, helpful, and always makes the most out of our time together. I leave each of our sessions together with new tools she has provided me with to more successfully navigate through difficult situations. Although I did have to wait over a month to get my initial first appointment with her over six months ago, it was absolutely worth the wait and I have never had trouble scheduling appointments with her for the following week ever since then. Kimberly McGrady has proven to be a therapist who goes above and beyond for her patients.
Dr. Fleischer has been of such enormous help to me over the years - my sense of comfort with myself and my life have increased by light years!
Meetings felt safe and counselor is very professional.
Have sent in two appointment requests over the past six months and I havent heard from anyone.
Our experience with Ellen Minier has been fantastic - she has gone far above the call of duty to help those we love. I would highly recommend Ellen for anyone.
Im going to be honest ive went through 5 doctors here. The first 3 were horrible. They didnt care had me on medications that either harmed me or didnt do anything at all. Kelly Crenshaw works out of Raleigh and she is amazing. But due to the severity of my mental health I wanted to be seen in person so now I am a patient of Dr. Peggy OHara. She is a Godsend. For the first time in my life she put me on medications that work! I can feel a difference. She listens she is smart and knows what medications go together and what medications dont. She couldnt believe what the other doctors had put me through and couldnt believe the medications they had me on. I wasnt in a single antidepressant and had no idea. Im diagnosed with major depressive disorder and didnt want to even live anymore but Dr. OHara saved me. If you need help call the office and tell them thou want to meet with Peggy OHara. Shell help you too! And I love all the receptionists in the office they honestly feel like family.
Avoid this provider. Find someone else. Anyplace is better than here. They do not care if you are in crisis.
This experience was awful. They had record of every medication I had been prescribed at their location in Raleigh and didn’t prescribe me any of them. Even though I explained those medications had worked. They also only have nurse practitioners treating people, not doctors. If you have any real mental health issues do not go here.
I am giving 5 stars SOLELY thanks to the main office in Asheville across from the hospital. There are two offices, the first & second time I went to the office on Ridgefield Blvd. (off of Brevard Road), I was very disappointed and felt that the whole office was unprofessional. I could never get ahold of them, leaving voicemails but never a call back... now, I will keep the name of these people to myself but this office is absolutely horrible.***NOW WITH THAT BEING SAID, I went to my family doctor and told them what happened. They switched me over to the other office (the main office) and I have had one visit last week with Lynn and that was the best appointment Ive probably ever had regarding my mental health. This office is organized and professional. I highly recommend the main office in Asheville beside the hospital. Whoever runs this page, if you would like to know a little more about my experiences let me know. Thank you!
I had to wait months for an available appointment, which is to be expected. But then a week before my appointment they called and told me they needed to change the appointment. Offered me another appointment months from now.
