Heather is a well experienced hair dresser her skills are exceptional and her customer service superb. As a small business owner I recommend that sports clips does everything to keep her as long as they can, shes good for business!

I will start out by saying I am a manager of A very busy repair shop. I deal with people everyday and understand customer service very well. I have used Shelby a few times and I will stick with her. She is very professional and does great work. Today I took my son in. She did a great job! He wasn’t sitting very still and she kept smiling and interacting with him to keep him still. We won’t go to anyone else except for her. Thank you so much for fixing his last messed up cut! Shelby will keep us coming back!

Such a great place to get a haircut, Shelby the store manager is AWESOME, everytime I come here it amazes me how professional she as well as her staff is. I have been coming to Sports Clips of Ocala for roughly 6 months now. I have seen other reviews posted on here, it amazes me how WRONG some of these individuals are. I have NEVER had an issue here and will continue to come to get the best cut in town by Shelby and here EPIC staff.

Stuck my head in the door and asked if anyone had been vaccinated. All three employees were in their 20s 30s and 40s and not a single one had been vaccinated. Im sorry but Im not comfortable right now letting an unvaccinated person get that close to my face. And Ive been vaccinated.

I had the worst possible experience at this Sports Clips after being a loyal customer for over 4 years. A manager named Shelby was as unprofessional and lazy as they come. As a small business owner myself I understand that you cant make everyone happy but after waiting an hour for an appointment she told me to go home since she had to make a call to her boss to have something fixed in the building. According to her that phone call and then waiting for someone to come fix the building... were why I had to leave but the other customers got to stay and receive their haircuts. This was such a poor performance by a “manager” they lost a loyal customer from what was an entirely avoidable encounter.

I had problems with their method of scheduling on a previous visit and was made to wait past my scheduled time. I wrote an email to customer service and they eventually responded with an email and later on, a phone call. They offered me a free haircut to come back and give them another chance. I scheduled a cut today and the exact same thing happened so i asked them to take me off of the schedule and I left. I, once again contacted the person who identified herself as the district manager. She said she couldnt believe it happened again and she would call them immediately and have them call me back ASAP. That was 3 hours ago. ...After waiting for the return call, which never came, I received a threatening email saying that they were going to file a police report. I cant fathom what they could possibly say that I did. I never raised my voice or threatened any adverse action. After they bumped me down the schedule for the second time, I asked them to remove me from the wait list and I left the store. Im somewhat shocked by their aggressive response to a loyal customer who only wanted his hair cut.

Hours are 10am to 8pm. Came in at 7 pm and told they were closed. Two stylist inside with 1 other person sitting inside. Customer behind me was turned away as well. Open sign on and door was unlocked. Online even said open. First time at this place and definitely the last.

Heather always does a great job cleaning up the mess I bring her. Theyre friendly and make great recommendations. Highly recommend.

I took my son here for a haircut and Shelby did an amazing job with him. She took her time and really made sure we were pleased. I want to comment on how patient she was. We didn’t go for a simple trim, we wanted a cute little faded haircut and she did such a good job. The first haircut he got, he freaked out about the buzzer and somehow she made him so comfortable that he didn’t cry one time. She deserves a raise! I highly recommend her! And Shelby, if you see this, thanks again! It won’t be the last time we see you, hopefully.

By leaps and bounds, the best place for a cut in town !!!! Staff is amazing and I see people complaining bout scheduling below... LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR!!! There is no scheduling its called a WAIT LIST. Meaning that you are NOT guaranteed a spot it is first come first serve essentially. However if you use your common sense if you check the wait list and see the time drop maybe just maybe call the store and simply ask if the time is accurate. These girls here are amazing and work very hard to take care of individuals hair. Dont be petty and slander the establishment because you simply are not capable of using common sense. I will ALWAYS come to sports clips in ocala.... Shelby is AWESOME btw !!!!! See you again in 2 weeks sports clips of OCALA.

Checked in online with a 25 minute wait for my 18 month old son, so we waited in the car until we had 5 minutes left on our wait. Went in and sat and waited, only moments later to be greeted by a man who said he checked in online (he did not because his name was not on the online list) so instead of seeing my son next (who was rightfully next in line) she saw this man before us. Absolutely so unprofessional, what’s the point of checking in online if you won’t see us?? Definitely will never come back here and will tell everyone i know not to return. Horrible service.

Wait wasn’t too long they came out to the parking lot to find me. The stylist was very friendly and made sure I liked the way she was cutting my hair and after paying you get a coupon for a $8.99 cut on your next visit.

I took my 4 year old son in for his first professional hair cut. We didn’t have an appointment scheduled but they still got us back with no wait. Shecka cut his hair, she was patient and polite with him but also fast and did a good job. The shop was organized and clean. We will be back.

While we didn’t have issues before the mask mandate, my spouse had his beard trimmed without being told that he wouldn’t be able to remove his mask for the rest of the trim, leaving the sides of his face practically bald, and the rest of his chin with a full beard..... Should definitely notify individuals that you’re not able to properly trim a beard instead of half-a**ing the job and leaving them to not only have to pay for a horrible job, but to have to take off their beard completely at home immediately following the cut. Poor communication from what has otherwise been good experiences other times.

It was okay. Went in for a haircut and found out they are interviewing, but the manager is terrible getting back to me 2 different times I have interviewed at this location, both times hired both times after being hired never started my first day. This time I accepted the job and asked about benefits and was never told that the position I was hired for ended up being filled while I was waiting on info about benefits. I cant recommend this place a place to work because of management

I’ve been getting my haircut at sports clips for 2 years now and I have to say I’ve never had a stylist do my hair so extraordinary then the stylist I had today! She was very professional, talented, friendly, and a extraordinary stylist!! Best stylist I’ve had pretty much my whole life!!

I can give a review for the haircut because I couldn’t wait the amount of time. I signed in online and they said my appointment would be in an hour. I waited an hour and went to the location. When I got there I was then at the back of the line because the online registration doesn’t save your place in line. . Don’t have 2 hours to wait for an appointment that was scheduled at a specific time. Need to manage this process better.

Jessica was very unprofessional and verbally aggressive from moment one, demanding me to know all sorts of hair cutting terms to tell her how to cut hair. She said that is what professionals do, multiple times, but in all my years I just say make it look nice, and they cut some off, maybe more later... she then started quickly hacking my hair off and being non responsive, which scared me quite a bit...luckily Hailey stepped in to save my hair and maybe my job as my appearance is part of my work. Unless Hailey is working ill be going somewhere else.

This was an amazing place. Jess was wonderful she engaged my 11 yr old and made him smile. She is definitely worth driving an hour to go back for hair cuts. All the staff was warm friendly and wonderful.

Very disappointed. The stylist did what she wanted and didnt listen when telling her the legnth was good, She continued to cut. She kept styling my hair the way she liked with no reguard to the style I expressed multiple times.

They didn’t listen to anything I said. I told them it was too short and they kept trimming more off the top. It’s patchy in the back and uneven. Very disappointed worst 22 dollars ever spent. Would not recommend.

Always an excellent haircut. I love the fact that they keep all of the notes in the computer. If you go to another Sports Clip they can find out exactly how your hair is cut and do it just like you normally would have it cut.There is almost always a wait, but not long. I also like that they dont try to sell you all the products you already have. Most salons guilt you into buying what you dont need or already have.

I got a haircut in here at 2062 SW 19th Ave Rd Suite 202 here in Ocala, Florida at 2-05-2020 I got a Client Ad,and a Beard Detail by Stephanie !IIt was my first time at that location before it was at Springfield,Mo. I got a crew cut,and a business beard trim of 1!I think Stephanie did a wonderful job,and as such I suggest Sports Clip as a place to groom for Hair, mustache,and beard! Poor Customer Service - Took my son here for a cut and all the staff were busy. After standing without being recognized for a bit, we decided to take a seat and wait until someone went to the counter to help us sign in. After 5 or 10 minutes, another woman comes in the door and stands at the monitors up front and someone tells her to please sign in. She said she didnt have an account and then I stood up since I came in long before her. The lady who recognized her said she didnt know how to work it, and another person came over to help her sign in. As I was standing there, told her I had been there a while waiting for help. She told me that I now had to wait until after the other womans appointment since she now signed in before me. I told the lady she could have my spot and walked out. Will cut his hair with a butter knife before returning to this place.

Staff is very helpful and responsible. I got my hair cut with Lorrie, and once I was home I noticed a bit of a mistake (that I caused through a miscommunication) and she promptly got me back in the chair and fixed it. Great service every time I go.

My first time in and it was really pretty good. The nice staff set me up with the MVP package for free. It was a scalp massage/hot towel and shoulder massage add on to the normal haircut. Just what the doctor ordered after hurricane Irma. Prices seemed fair, I will be back.

Ive always had a good experience there but Im working in Midland tx right now and need a haircut, I called the ocala store where I always go and always tip well, at 1205 PM est and a girl answered the phone,I asked what my haircut typically is there,she said she didnt have time to look it up for me because they have clients, Im sure it doesnt take that long to push a button and help a loyal client out, as far as Im concerned with the rudeness of this employee, I dont think Ill be back,learn some customer service skills!Mark Muir

Great place for a haircut. Several TVs with sports programs for you to watch while you get your hair cut. I reccomend the MVP which includes a hair wash, hot face towel, and maasage.

Have been trying to use Sport Clips regularly for a year now: Checked in on-line today, showed up when they told me to. Thirty minutes later the person whom was supposed to cut my hair was still chatting it up and showing no signs of finishing. Obviously my time is of no value to you; but it is to me. I wont be back.

This place is awesome. I went in just for a cut (the other stuff doesnt appeal to me) but this isnt just a straight up barber shop. They got TVs everywhere, and theyre all on sports. The lady who cut my hair (not sure of her name, skinny black lady at the very front, first chair I think) gave me a haircut that I liked and thats the first time anyones done that in probably 15 years. It looks really good and I wish I could go back here to get it cut again (moving in 3 days). They do like to chat a bit but nothing big. Theyre not trying to grill you but just make polite chit chat. Seriously, greatest haircut ive had in a while.Only bad side is no hot shave. I was really needing one but they dont offer it. Still, 5 stars.
