I saw the guy messing around under my hood while I went for an oil change. Hands all over and around my battery. I complained to the mgr. That I only came for an oil change and the guy working on my car is all around my batttery. The next day my car wouldnt start.

I called at noon today to schedule an appointment to get two tires replaced on my car. When I called the employee I spoke to said they weren’t taking appointments today. I thought that was weird so I asked if they’d have an opening at 5pm, they said they should it looked open. I arrived to get my tires replaced at 4:53 to find a line at the register, by the time I made it through the line 20 minutes later. Just to find out that they are completely booked up through the night leaving me stranded at their store with a flat tire.

I always come here for my oil change. Reasonable price plus $2.50 per tire for tire rotation. Today they told me it would get done in 90 minutes and they finished in just under that time

Best decision I made was coming here friendly employees & just changed my oil didnt try to sell me anything extra what a nice change from everywhere Ive gone before.I will be bringing my car here from now on . Highly recommended especially as a female I never trust places but today was a positive experience ☺

Dont ever go here. I brought in my car for a simple tire balance, while there were no other customers, and they took over an hour just to get started. After that hour, they said 10 to 15 minutes and I waited in their waiting room - like I said I would - for ANOTHER HOUR before I got up to the register to ask about the work. The result? They said they couldnt do the job because of my tires. No call, despite giving them my number, no alerts of any kind. I wasted 2 hours because of their abysmal customer service. They dont even deserve one star but I cant go any lower. Save yourself the trouble and go to a shop that knows how to treat customers as something slightly higher than dirt. These people clearly do not know what they are doing, and the prices reflect that - you are getting what you pay for.If you have to talk to anybody, talk to the older white guy. He seems to genuinely care about you. The others, well, they only care about their paychecks.

I do my oil changed at dealer always but this time I treid to wallmart they are very professional and I paid half price of the honda dealer.I dont do shopping at wallmart but I will use them for oil change from now on. Thank you !!

Recommend this place for tire and battery replacements. This is a zero sales pressure place with personnel accessible to answer your queries and is priced competitively. You will know before hand as to what you are getting into. Saturday wait times are long.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the staff here are sleazy, drag their feet, and try to swindle you where they can. Dont be afraid to challenge them on extra charges that magically appear on your invoice for even the simplest of jobs. They definitely discriminate here (i.e. if youre a solo woman, fully expect to be fleeced.) After a couple visits here I decided to just go patronize a trusted auto shop instead, and havent had any more issues.

Wait times are really long on weekends, however, if you come in around 7AM its usually okay and youll get out by 8AM. Technicians seem to work faster and treat you better IF you are nice to them, simple rule in life.. Not much goes wrong with the service unless something could be wrong with your car to begin with, the staff are very prompt to let you know of anything out of the ordinary.

Took me more than three hours to get car battery replaced, bought from there only. Rude and Lazy staff be it manager or technician, Staff is not on their seats most of the time, only staff member worth mentioning is Linda, who was helpful. If you have enough time to waste and ready to take unfriendly staff go here.

Wish I can give no star. The staffs are rude and the manager also the same. Tool 4 hours to do an oil change. At one point saw 3 staffs took 1 hour to do a car oil change. Normal should do two car at in a row. Also other come in just do a battery swap, took them almost 3 and half hours wait to get it done. Getting your car serviced else where is better than this Fremont brach.

Went for a tire change at 10. Shop is supposed to be open at 7 but there is no one there and no one picking up the phone. I had to drive around to the store and spoke with a manager who said, and I quote, everyone is late or didnt show up. Theres only one person here and he said hes not working til 1030. Thats just the way it is.I went elsewhere. These arent the kind of people I want working in my car.

Mature mechanics seem happy to work.Great customer service.I cant early 7.40am there was 1 mechanic so I have to wait an hour for a tire change.

Good service, your info is kept in their computers so when you drive up they scan your inside door panel and you would be all checked in. During the week its great not to many peop l e but Saturdays get there early before the line gets too long.

That Greg guy has such excellent customer service. I went in a few months ago and had a very (annoyingly) number of questions and he answered every one of them with a smile on his face. I will come back for sure.

Extraordinary professional services by Joseph and Gierdy, I went there for non-walmart battery installation, services provided were in-time, professional and complete . Joseph were humble and polite, will surely go back there for any other need in future .

Very very bad customer service. would like to give -5 stars. I have multiple experience.. Once the mechanic refused to put the spare tire back under the trunk and instead put it in the back of the minivan. He quoted its not his job.. After replacing 1 new tire, did not balance the tire after repeated visits.. these guys think people are stupid and will drop their cars at any rate.. these guys should loose their jobs to learn their job..

Took them 1.5 hours to change my oil....while there was only 1 car in front of me. Then they drained my oil, pulled the filter left the car like that and went to lunch... not cool

Had two oil changes and first time they never gave me sticker to let me know when to come change oil. Second time was for my GF and they stripped the oil pan bolt causing leaking. I recommend coming to A-1 service center. They showed us they last service tech fault and replaced bolt for free. A-1 is A+!! Walmart needs to fix their quality. Prices at both places are the same for full synthetic. 59.99. BUT WALMART TECHS TAKE THEIR SWEET TIME AND GET IT DONE IN 2 HRS. But A-1 is 30 min or less.

I only wanted to buy some oil but was unsure where to look for the brand I wanted, only 1 person available to help who was busy serving some one else so I looked for and found what i needed difficult for me as I am less tabled physically . For such a large store the absence of staff to assist is surprising as well as the lack of check out tills open for customers, is this a deliberate ploy to get is to use self service check out?

I went to the Milpitas Walmart auto care center and was met with a service tech yelling at me and a customer to park in the parking spaces and not the driveway marked for pulling in to the bays. Preferring to honor the resources and time I chose to drive to Fremont’s Walmart Auto Care Center. After 15-20 minutes of waiting on an employee to clock out for lunch, working with the customer service rep at the Fremont location was unpleasant. She was not helpful further than telling me what she had to sell. I asked a couple different ways to get info on new tires and time estimates. In the end 2 hours is too long to wait to get started at a location with two empty bays. She mentioned she only had one tech on and he seemed pleasant and I needed tires quicker so I went to PEDRO’s Tires down the road and got tires cheaper, quicker and with the biggest smile and joy filled work ethic that I encountered all day. Thank you Walmart for helping me prioritize spending money with the people that appreciate it the most. That is the way to give and receive and exchange that I was looking for, so for that, thank you for being part of the day.

Marginal service. Hit and miss technical abilities.Sitting in the drive up area waiting for an oil change. Suppose to open st 07:00. At 07:05 they starte to move tires out of the bays. One slow moving employee. 07:20 move the first cars up. 07:30 finally take my order. Cannot get the tires rotated until 09:00 due to lack of personal. Not going to wait for that. 08:00, just getting started on the the oil change. 08:30, 90 min later finished.

Price was good but could get someone to help me until I started I made a scene

Horrible customer service. There was a fellow customer who was very mad at the manager and they didnt care to take care of the issue . 3.5 hrs of wait time for a flat tire when there are only a few cars waiting. They didnt make an attempt to ask would you like to come back ? before arriving at the location I Waited 10 mins on the phone to speak with someone then they put me on another hold to make an appointment, few mins later they confirmed no appointments on weekends great!

Overall good service and reasonable cost. I priced the same lube and basic inspection for nearly double ($65) at nearby service station. Manuel, the tech, was helpfull and even showed me how to reset the maintenance odo. The clerk was not very well trained and underestimated the time to complete. Manuel asked that I explain to other reviewers that he isnt an angry old Asian man, just occasionally frustrated by miraculous expectations from clients, like servicing big old rims (thats a specialty job requiring equipment your local Wal Mart service center does not have *gasp*)

I needed a few basics: windshield fluid, leather cleaner, etc., plus lunch for next week and some items for my desk at work. I can manage to get most of what I need at Walmart. Todays visit was not for an oil change or tires, but Ive used the service at this Walmart over the past years with no issues.

There is no zero star ....I bought tires and also installation with road safety warranty ...Its time for first time rotation, Went three times couple of Fridays waited 3 hrs and last time on working day at 250pm their mechanic cum manager in shift tells that they are closed .....What!!!!!4th time at 1pm today Wednesday,writes from walmart, they are full 👎 for the day...lousy business....save your soul and energyGoto Costco or your local shop and you will be happy at the end

Weve been here for 2 hrs for an oil change.No one in line in front of us, but everyone working is on lunch or break or standing around. Our car is trapped and we are going toto get stuck in traffic. Blerg.Side note: Tom and the young woman with glasses and the one guy working on all the cars : good job. Everyone else here should go get a government job, they are very accustomed to not doing a lot.

Worst service. No one cares about customer or their time. Spent 3.5 hrs and came back to see wrong service done on my car. They confused my car with someone elses because it was same color and make. Then they wont repay me back because their manager left for the day. Had to go next day at 2 pm when the manager came.Never never use Walmart auto shop for any service.

I went there to get a tire when they opened up, and they didnt even schedule a tire guy to work and the manager of the auto department didnt show up to work either. This is no way to run a business

Worst of the worst service ever ...I was there by 9:00am, just waited for 2 hours to get to the counter though there are only 6-7 people waiting in line ahead of me. Later I went in the evening for pick and they told me, they don’t have similar tyre in stock and I had to wait for 2-3 more days. What a joke .. I spent couple of bucks to commute to and fro using lyft and everything gone just because of their way of working and job not done.Thanks

I came here to fix one tire that leaking air and they told me the wait is 2 hours, so far I have been here for 3 and half hour and still my car is not ready. People working here have no respect for the customers time. Do NOT buy tires from this walmart unless you are planning a 5 hour vacation at Walmart.

Terrible terrible service in the automotive zone ... great price on tires but had to come back the next day for install... with an appointment iv been here for legit 5hrs and still counting... was told 1hr max .. all they are doing is installing four tires... half way into install they have a problem trying to get one of my tires to align properly.. for and hour... I ask for them to replace the tire and see if that solves the issue since my truck rims have never had an issue in the past and have ZERO dmg.The short Asian guy who wears a BMW hat freaked out and yelled and screamed..cussed and tried to kick me out when I asked to see the wheel alignment machine to ensure it was correct... had to just talk to the store manager and still waiting for them to figure this BS out.TERRRIBLE SERVICE.

Came in at 9:30 A.M. for tires... I get cut in line & express to the cashier that Ive been waiting, I was next- cashier doesn’t care. 1:50 P.M. rolls around, they call me back to tell me they don’t have the tires I need. So it took 4 hours of me waiting around the damn store to be told my sizes aren’t in stock? Never again.

2 hours for a walk in oil change at 9am. Was told no one was waiting for oil change so it would take 30 min. Hour later was told “dead time” was happening and would take an hour. When I complained, the lady said “then 30 min”. It took the full extra hour.
