I love waxing the city! I moved to Sioux Falls from Minneapolis and was looking for a place that did something similar to the waxing I had before, Waxing the City was a perfect fit! Staff is always friendly and helpful. I see Kenzie and she is absolutely amazing, great at what she does and a lovely personality as well. I would recommend to anyone who wants to feel pampered and cleaned up.

I have been going to Grace for a year now. I can’t say enough good things about her. I am constantly referring my friends to her, because she does an amazing job, is personable, and overall great at her job. She is quick and precise which makes the experience great every time! Worth the money!

Great place but like a lot of other things in Sioux Falls another disappointment. I just got waxed today and I still have a lot of hairs left! I wanted to be clean and clear for the delivery of my baby this Monday. I guess I’ll wait and shave it!

I was turned away for an eyebrow wax, a service I was informed over the phone would only take 10min tops, for the sole fact that I had my 5 year old daughter with. We were both wearing masks though, the reasoning for not allowing children into the business was COVID. The way I was made aware of this ‘policy’ was rude and the tone in the employees voice was that of disgust. Then, behind me walked in two women not wearing masks whom were greeted with good energy and kindness.I left embarrassed and feeling defeated being a single mom with my closest family/help living 3-4 hours away.I am disappointed in the lack of rapport and the less than inviting staff.

This was the worst experience in body waxing Ive ever had. Besides the esthetician being kind rough and dismissive, my skin had similar to allergy reaction which Ive never had before after waxing. Plus, she did a very poor job - she left so much hair that I had to shave afterwards. My very first waxing experience was exponentially better than this one! If I were a B..tchy- type of person, I would have asked for a refund, however I even left an undeserving tip. I wouldnt recommend to anyone to get their body waxed here.

I’ve been religiously going to Waxing The City for two and a half years and I’ve never been disappointed. They always work with your schedule and are easy to communicate with.

I love this place! Front desk staff remembers your name and is super friendly. The times available for booking always fit my schedule. Plus you can book online! I had to cancel once and they were very understanding. It is clean and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Ive never felt uncomfortable or awkward here. Prices are comparable to other waxing services.

Spectacular business. They really hit all the marks. From too to bottom this is a wonderful place to get waxed. The front staff was wonderful. The technician was personable, comfortable to be with and a real professional. While the first time half price is honestly what drew me in, I will continue to go here.

So this review for all the guys out there. I tried a Brazilian wax out of pure curiosity. My waxer kenzie was experience and professional, which is very needed for something such as this. I think if you ever are intrigued by the idea, this place is a good spot to try it at. Guys and girls alike.

Great first waxing experience! I am definitely going back!Update 11/2020: This is still the only place I will get waxed after a year and a half ! Ive been seeing the same staff, Grace, every visit and it really makes each experience comfortable as you arent half naked in front of someone new each time. Ive never had a bad experience. Plus, the staff up front really make sure you feel welcome from the time you walk in the door.

I went here for the very first time ever getting any large area waxed. I had won a giftcard from a wedding show to here and decided to get underarms, bikini and eyebrows done. I was super impressed by how kind and knowledgable they are and how everything turned out great. I was properly informed on after care and things to help the healing and prevent ingrown hairs. I went here 2 days before my wedding to get all these services done and really enjoyed my experience. Thank you for doing a great job and having great customer service!

Everyone at Waxing the City (S. Louise) is super friendly. They are knowledgeable about sensitive skin. Cerologist Hope is very thorough, barely leaves and wax behind and is super friendly to talk to. I have been going there for 8 months now and will continue forever. Plus, no razors, or thick course hair any more!!!!!

Wax in the city is the only place I will go to get my eyebrows done!

I went in here thinking it was going to be super akaward and what not only to walk in to a super friendly receptionist that kept conversation while I waited. Once I got back into the room Kenzie was super amazing and friendly. Kept the conversation going and made sure I had no questions when I was done! Became a member right away after my first visit. Highly recommend this place!

Great experience! The staff is very professional and makes you feel very comfortable. Their wax works wonders. Jenna was my cerologist and I plan to schedule with her again.

Book a brazilian appt which is 45 min session. I told them I’d be 15 mins late. My apt was 1130-12:15 when I arrived at 1145 they said they didn’t have enough time to wax and made me pay for full services. They usually don’t take the full 45 mins to wax and don’t do a good job.

Friendly staff, great service, and smooth body as a take away. Being a first time customer, I think that you guys knocked it out of the park.
