Do not use this business. There is a nail tech there named Mhika also known as Mhia Abby Bunoy who was very unprofessional and rude. After going to her for almost a year I had an adverse reaction to the acrylic base she used. She was using a certain brand on my hands and when it ran out, refilled it with a different brand and did not notify me. When I had a reaction she assured me that it was the same brand and that I had somehow developed an allergy. After asking for a full refund I was only offered 50% refund after I barely had them on for a week. From there I was told to go to the emergency room or urgent care and that there was nothing else they could do. I have developed burning, blistering, peeling, and bleeding fingers. I had to spend $200 on urgent care. You have been warned.

Nice shop, vibe is very chill, good music. I live close by so I popped in for a quick mani. The cuticle cream was watery like skim milk but other than that I got a quick hand massage and this is probably the best polish Ive ever had, very nice. Ill be back.

Overall one of my favorite places, but the guy that did my nails was not as good as the other ladies are, he left alot of the nail stuff under my nails my left hand nails were ok but my right hand nails looked different im never going back to him

I scheduled an appointment for 4:30 on Friday. I showed up for the appointment way before time.They ask did I have an appointment and I informed them that I did and I scheduled to have my nails done by Mimi. They then tell me she left for the day already. Why schedule an appointment if you arent going to be there. They ask for your phone number when you schedule. If something comes up you can call the customer and inform them.

The good part, its Less expensive than luxury nails, the bad part... Everyone knows its less expensive than luxury nails. What that means is that it draws in the type of crowd that find themselves looking for a cheaper alternative to the other high class nail studios. So, u may have to deal with some unsavory characters but if that doesnt bother u, then by all means stop by. They do great work, and they seem to go above and beyond in order to please their customers

Tore up my nails, had grandma doing them, just go somewhere else. They have a few good nail techs, but they were unavailable. There is a reason the oldest person is always available to do nails. Nails broke the next day.

No one acknowledge me after signing in, I waited an hour plus. I left, I went there because of previous reviews. I wasnt satisfied at all will not be returning. Was there for a pedicure.

Not the best experience. I have gone to them 5 times. My issue is the quality of service and the wait time. They can also work a little more on their customer service. Sometimes they come off annoyed, distant, or anti-social. Maybe its nerves or something, I dont know. It seems as if there is one lady that does decent nails and the gentleman seems nervous and there is an older woman like a mother or grandma figure, very sweet lady but she does not speak English and cannot do nails at all in my opinion. I have honestly given them a fair amount of chances, but I think I will find another nail shop.Matter of fact I know I will be going to another shop! I do love the complimentary wine and their set up is lovely, I just think they need to hire more qualified nail and pedi techs that are secure in their work to provide quality service to patrons. They get 2 stars, one for effort, another for nice shop. I wish them well; however, I wont be going back any time soon.

Poor customer service

So far Im happy going here. Yes there is a wait when coming here, it just depends. They offer free water and sodas. I cant complain, and this my second time going. Will update my review.🗣🗣Update review🗣🗣I feel the prices are kinda high compared to other places Ive been. My last visit was like a week and a half almost two weeks. The guy who did my nails didnt show confidence In his work and he did a horrible job on my nails. I paid $44 for a fill in. Never in my life have I ever paid that much for a fill in. I think he was nervous when I look at how he was doing my nails. I cant remember his name. But he normally sits on the end next to wear the pedicure spa chairs at. Also certain people do good nails there. But you gone wait awhile. One of the girls that I was gonna go too to start doing my nails, she did a no call no show. I need consistency. So Im going else where now. Its always a wait every time Ive been. Yes I only been three times or twice but Im not gonna keep going if Im not being quit satisfied. My thoughts and opinion. Ill give you a few chances, but after that Ill take my services else where and thats what I chosed to do.

To slow😒 good work but a 2hr wait for pretty nails isnt logical because its too many nail salons. I waited 2hrs 😨 there then one of the nail stylist decided to do a personal favor😨😓, now its 2 1/2 hrs😨😓😰so i went to dominos got some wings and cheesy bread😃, ate an was stil waiting😒😒....hell naw😠😡!!! to much of my time... and there prices are ok but higher than anyone else😵... so i went up the street and round the corner and got my 💅 done $10.00 cheaper and 2 1/2 hrs faster and they came out the same way!!!!!!😃😃😃now Im chilling🍹🍹🍹!!!!!! Whhaattt!!!

I made an appointment a few days in advance for the earliest time available which was 10 am, which was suppose to be when they opened. When I arrived a few minutes before 10, the store was still closed, so I waited until my appointment time to go in. The doors were still locked and when I called, there was no answer even at 10:05. I found it a complete waste of time to be told to come in at 10 to come to find the store was still closed and no answer when I tried to call.

It say they open at 9:30 when they didnt. I waited well over 30 minutes for them to open. They website should reflect the actual time they open.

By far the BEST nail salon in Gainesville! I got a basic gel mani and it was only $20 with a complimentary drink. They took their time to file and get the perfect shape I wanted and even helped color match their polishes with my skin tone to find the perfect nude shade for me! Ive gone to several nail salons and spent more money with very poor results. Demode is clean, professional and welcoming! Its on the other side of town from me but well worth the drive. Jenny was my tech and shes amazing!

Very unprofessional had appointment at 5pm. It was already 5 people ahead of me. When I ask why give me appointment and people ahead of me. No answer very rude and disrespectful. Lost a customer never again.

I went to get a full set and polish change done today 04/19/2019 waited an hour before getting my feet done I asked Mimi if she was going to take a long time on the lady hands she was doing and if so I would just get a pedicure instead of polish change so I wouldn’t be waiting she said she’d take 40mins so I said ok pedicure it is so now I’m at the end of my pedicure and Mimi tells Lyn she doesn’t feel like doing my nails no more she’s too tired when she could’ve said that at the beginning and I could’ve left an hour ago with a polish change I left with no polish and no nails she wasted 3 hours of my time WORST customer service ever

I used to like this shop but every time I go I NOW feel that theyre acting funny with me...when they first opened they used to offer a free drink but I guess the more they see you the less they offer. Ive been coming to shop on a regular& unfortunately have referred a lot of people! I also know these owners from their previous shop- anyhow sometimes you go & the owner acts very nice & welcoming- other times she barely speaks & brushes you over to another tech- One of the male techs (I know his name but Ill try to show discretion) has done my nails a couple of times but the last time he REALLY SHOWED OUT to make a long story short I wanted to get the final price after showing him what I wanted bc sometimes THEIR PRICES CHANGE- he gave me a price & assured me that hed be able to do what I asked for shortly thereafter he started acting agitated..saying how I was really working him (I hadnt said anything at this point but - Im liking it youre doing a good job!)...hes never doing anything anyone shows him on a picture again some1 else can do it! He painted my nails but didnt want to clean up/straighten the lines (the way its done after getting french)! He openly tried to embarrass me since he gave me A TWO DOLLAR DISCOUNT saying he shouldve charged me the full price, while expressing my frustration to another customer HE told me to stop talking about it!! He didnt put any glue on my diamonds so a little one the huge one fell off (theyre less than a wk old) ...the prices change one day your toes are $10 and the next week theyre $15 (for regular polish)! Their prices are based on how they feel and who you are! Customer service is EVERYTHING WHICH IS WHAT I (& even the young lady next to me) WAS EXPRESSING TO HIM BUT HE DIDNT SEEM TO CARE AS THEY SPOKE IN THEIR LANGUAGE AND LAUGHED! Id gotten slightly comfortable with them but I most likely wont be back- Ive seen people talk to them any kind of way yet they treat them with respect but a loyal and respectful customer you do any kind of way smh. Even the lady next to me applauded me for how I handled the situation- so trust, I am NOT over exaggerating! Last but most certainly not least- your customers should NEVER feel as though they cant ask you to do something bc YOURE making them feel as though theyre aggravating you! If Im paying for it I want to be satisfied not $50, $70 PLUS dollars PLUS a tip & be satisfied with whatever I get! #DoBetterDemode

Don’t bother making an appointment they will still put another client before you. Just walk in and hope for the best.. only second time here because I enjoyed the first service but NEVER AGAIN. Made a appointment for a fill in and a pedi, left with only a pedi 🙃 and then was told that I could wait 30 mins for a girl to be finished with her nails after they put her before me even after she came in after me... probably because they took FOREVER on my toes! So hope you finish before the next person getting there toes done or YOURE GOING TO WAIT. Better yet just ask to do your nails first and do the pedi last. UNPROFESSIONAL SO PISSED.
