Ive been going to A-Nails since I was very young and have always been very happy with manicures, pedicures and gel nails. As I got into my teenage years I started to ask for acrylics and designs. Lets just say I havent been impressed by the designs and acrylic.I asked for a marble design and the lady (not naming) drew a few curvy lines on my nail and said it was good. Acrylic hasnt been very cleanly applied. It is smooth but it either floods the cuticle or isnt very clean at the base of my nail.I loved the gel nails! They were so cute. I got color changing and they stayed for about three weeks. I was very impressed and loved them.Manicures and pedicures are always amazing 10/10 would recommend. Very relaxing and leaves my feet and hands feeling softStaff is very friendly. They make good conversations but some of them are a little hard to understand at times. Always fun though!

I came in asking to have a nail mess up fixed, and I was invited back to have it fixed and was treated great! They were warm and inviting, and made sure I loved what I got! Tiffany has always been a joy to have do my nails, I will certainly never stray salons again!

And it was just a nice and relaxed environment where I felt like I could just enjoy being there and not feel rushed at all. They were just so nice and personal! And my nails look awesome too! ;)

HORRIBLE! Jenny did a horrible job so I didn’t give her a tip. When I paid she acted like I gave her the wrong amount because there was no tip. The WORST pedicure I’ve ever had.

Worst mani pedi I have ever received, lasted maybe15 minutes tops. Jenny was very rude, pushed gel polish and got mad when I said no to her 3 different times. I will never go back.

I always have a great experience here. It has been about a year since I have gone to them, but the customer service was still great. Held conversation, let me use their store phone, twice, because I left my cellphone at home. Van was polite and quick!! Still did a great job and I had my shellac nails done in 15 minutes!! Kenny did my pedicure. He was great to work with. Held a great conversation with me about family while he did my pedicure. He made me comfortable, carried all my belongings for me, as did Van, so i pretty much didnt have to lift a finger. Another tech who wasnt even assisting me, asked if i wanted anything to drink. Since I am pregnant, she offered me water. But I have had a glass of wine there before in the past. Their store isnt overwhelming in chemicals like most places. They are very clean and organized. When i came in at 450pm, the place only had 2 other customers. It was quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend them. I will forever come here.

Ive gone here once before and was pleased with the service. Today, the first thing that observed was an autoclave kit that had not been cleaned. Next, the technician tried to pressure me into gel nails. No means No! I had to firmly tell her 2 times. Then when I stated Im in the health field and my heels can be rough she stated, that will be extra. So, I would give a 0 star but thats not an option. I need nail shops to act professionally and to stop upcharging their customers. Not every woman wants that hard shellac on their toes. I got up promptly and let her know thats not professional and I will not return. The nail technicians in this town seem to think everyone is uneducated and deserve dirty tools used on them. IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR FEET DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I hardly ever review but felt like I needed to share my experience. I paid $30 for a maybe a 15 min pedicure. Polish was still left on from the last pedicure I had. Hardly any work done as far as trimming or filing and when she was cleaning my toes, she showed me what she was digging for and was like “oh wow”. Sorry I work a lot and have to wear socks 😅 Got scrub put on and wiped off. And she was in such a hurry I had polish left on my skin as if she didn’t care. I was very disappointed and will not be back.

My Sisters and I have been coming here for years. And they remember us every time we come in. When our Mom passed, they were so kind to us and still are.

I have been going to this salon religiously for well over a year. I have always been discouraged with their varying prices, but have overlooked it as I assumed that different technicians charged different prices as they are all “independent contractors”. I’ve noticed the last few months quality of services and what’s included in the service to be severely lacking. Today took the cake. I went in with my mom and 8 year old daughter. We asked for three pedicures, two fills, and one manicure. My mom received great service, full leg massage, and warm towels with her pedicure. My daughter and I simply got a soak and polish. I had to tell my daughter’s technician three times I wanted shellac polish for her. She wasn’t given a manicure at all, just a simple polish. And my nail technician seen genuinely annoyed by my requested nail design and did not do as I asked. I was charged $118 for services that were below par and not fully delivered. Needless to say I won’t return.

My favorite person is Jessica. Shes always consistent and we have good conversations about life and our children. We give each other updates about our careers and children. She makes time for me and gives me a way to contact her to keep from waiting and I never wait in line. She jokes around with my four year old every time I bring him with me and hes very comfortable with her which says a lot. Overall the shop is kid friendly anf efficient. I wont go any where else

The price was higher than posted price for mani pedi The nail techs kept pushing gel gel gel. I guess because of the price difference. Even without the upsell the cost for me and two daughters was $54 a piece and our feet walked out as calloused as we walked in, nice chairs though But I didn’t come for the chairs.

Stay away! If I could negative stars, I would!!! In and out in ten minutes and paid $30 for a fill that wasn’t complete. My nails are crooked and un-filed. (And of course, it’s not my nails that are crooked, it’s my fingers so they say!) What made it so much worse was being man handled! He was so rough, pushing and pulling and digging his nails into me. He physically hurt me to the point where I had to rip my hand away from him. I will NEVER go back there no matter how desperate I am!

It has been years since I’ve gotten my nails done. I have always avoided acrylic and even shellac had they are damaging. I heard great things about gel/dip. So I decided to give it a shot.Jessica was my technician. She first informed me that they didn’t do designs, so I had to have all one color. I spoke to her in length about how I disliked acrylic and was excited to try the new dip technique. She put tips on my nails. I asked her to make them long, she cut them shorter saying “that is a better length”.Then she started the application. On the first nail I noticed it was the same steps to apply acrylic. I said “do you do the “dip” in the same way as acrylic”? She said, “Oh we are doing acrylic on you. It is better. It is better for you”.... I will never go back.

I love this place! My mom and I will go in anytime we can, and we usually have Tiffany do it. They are very respectful and they are absolutely wonderful at doing nails! The only thing I dislike, is that they will ask you if you want something else done to try and spend more money. Everything else, is wonderful!

I went here 3 times previously and had very sweet nail techs. Today I had a younger male tech and he charged me more than I had ever been charged and I have the same thing every time. When I told him I would have to go get my card he accepted the cash I had and said that would be fine. Then he proceeded to make me feel horrible the whole time by telling me how things work he was extremely belittling in spite of the fact his price was higher than before and I offered to go get a card. He most definitely lost a customer! He was very arrogant and condescending.

Ive been going to this salon a year now. I prefer to have Tiffany do my nails but the other techs are also good and friendly. I have had an issue one time with my nails. I simply returned to the store and the issue was corrected. Wonderful staff!

I had a very nice visit to the nail salon today. I have soft nails, and she treated them with a hardener. They are so much stronger now. I didnt know rhis process was even available. Nice manicure, too.....and a holiday hug!

I went for a pedicure and a manicure and told her I wanted to put 6 dollars on the tab for a tip. She didnt tell me how much it was but I knew. So she charged me $10 for a tip. I guess she didnt appreciate the $3. Plus she never even brought the polish to the bottom of my nail so it looks like I need a fill already. Time to find a new place!!

Literally worst experience getting my nails done. Felt very rushed. My pedicure was less than 10 mins long and was charged 25 dollars. Im very active and needed a good scrub and literally was given lotion and a warm towel. Then she rushed me over to get my nails filled and said she needed to take them all off and re do them completely. A few probably could of used that but certainly not all and she said 50 dollars!! I got up and said no way stop youre not finishing. Plus they charged my 7 yr old 20 dollars for a toe cut! They called it a pedicure and he didnt even get paint. Never spent so much to have nothing done!!

After having Breakfast at the Bob Evans Restaurant; on Thursday, December 6; my Dear Friend and I were traveling back home (To Chicago). Given this Nail Salon was extremely close, we decided to get our Nails done.Upon entering the establishment, we were greeted by one of the Nail Technicians. When we asked if they do Fill-Ins and other Services, the Nail Technician took one look at the both of us and said, We dont do those. Now, when reviewing their Price List, it was VERY clear they offered the services we requested. Again, the Nail Technician looked at my nails, and said, We dont offer that type of Acrylic. When we mentioned about how expensive their services were, the Nail Technician stated, Please go. There are other nail salons down the street.It was quite evident the Nail Technician didnt want to service my Friend & I simply because we were African-American.I was TOTALLY take aback~~~especially since this Establishment seemed very new and wasnt crowded. This is 2012, NOT 1812!!! I hope NO ONE ever patronizes this Salon!!!

Tiffany gave me a gel manicure and they lasted over three weeks! I havent been anywhere else that they looked as perfected and lasted as long! She was very sweet and took her time with my nails!

For the price and ability to get in and out not bad at all. We go occassionally just for fun and the staff is always friendly.

Jessica did my nails on Wednesday. They do one nail and ask if it is ok. Looking at it, I said yes. You really can’t tell what your nails look like until they are polished. I have nails on my right hand one length and the nails on the other short and completely awful. I was told not to go and have them corrected because they will not fix them because they say it is the way they are shaped. I will never go back there. I would not give them the one star

Ive gone here now 3 times & 2 out of 3 Ive had Jessica. She is horrible. She didnt have me wash my nails or hands after she took my polish off and refilled them, very ruff with the drill, my nails are not shaped very well and both times she has left me in the middle of painting my nails to get her cell from the back room. Very rude! Plus she charged me $33 for just a fill of course I didnt see a sign on what the price actually is but that seems a little expensive for just a fill. The second time I went I had my daughter who had a manicure and her toes done (just polish, shes only 5) so Im not really sure how much they charged me just for my fill.

I have been getting pedicures here since they opened and the staff has always been friendly, done a great job, and I never felt rushed. Great service, great prices!!

Please slow down a little. It is not fun knowing if or when the Dremel is going to burn you. It happened twice today. Take more time. Im not sure if it was just a bad day or what. My French tips look great but the natural part looks like there are air bubbles.

My friend and I wanted to find a place to get our nails done that was not only reasonable but also does a great job! THIS IS THE PLACE! They treat you so nice unlike a lot of places. They also do an amazing job! Id ask for Tiffany. She was the one who did mine. I got shalac (sorry if it is spelt wrong) and a design for only $28. She also gave me a hand massage. I will DEFINITELY be coming back!

I went in for a set of gel nails & I wasnt paying attention to the tech. When I got home & looked at my nails they looked HORRIBLE! I called the next day to ask them to fix my nails Tiffany said there is nothing wrong with your nails! I told her they looked HORRIBLE & she said they have to be thick or you will break them. I told her that the gel sticks up higher then my cuticle! She said I could come today & she would not say they will fix them until they looked at them! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I PAID $50 FOR HORRIBLE NAIL! They arent even & he never even buffed them!

I had a terrible experience yesterday with “Tina” (One of the workers)She yelled at me. She was throwing things. She was trying to make me do my nails her way. She told me I should get French nails since it’s faster and said she was going to rush since they were closing soon . She also said I had to choose between mani or pedi Shes not doing both. She had me crying.I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend her.

Very rushed! My daughter and I both went for Manis and Pedis. We used to go here, have not been in quite a while! I now know why!! They rushed through the pedicures. No rough skin removal no leg massage. They didnt even want to wait while we picked out polish. No cuticle removal with manicure! It wasnt even busy!! Will not be back. Sarahs nails won our business.

Rushed thru the pedicure because they were busy. Grand daughter who just had nails painted, was given a design without permission and I was charged $11.00 for it. (Fingers and toe)This place is over priced. Theres many other places cheaper.

Walked in for a gel polish. All 3 techs were busy and was told wait wasnt long. One tech completed her client, walked up to another tech, whispered something in his ear, they both looked at me and she disappeared. Five minutes later another tech asked me my color and when I told her she literally said ewwww to my choice which I thought was kind of funny because their culture is so rude this way, but vey stupid as a business person. I proceed to wait another 5 minutes and finally got up and walked out. Rude! Rude! Rude!

Stay away from this facility! I would not use the word salon with them. Tiffany (that was the name on her smock) needs to go to classes on customer service (she gives mean girls a run for their money). She could also use a class on sanitizing nail equipment, the importance of wearing clean clothes to work, hand washing when you are jumping back and forth from eating while watching a video on your computer to painting nails, and a math class so she wouldnt have to change the prices she tries charging a customer in comparison to the prices posted on the wall.

This was my 2nd time going to this salon. My first experience was great. My 2nd time around has turned me off completely.If I say I dont want to shellac my nails, then I dont want it. Was asked repeatedly if I wanted to do it. Dont hound your customers. I have reasons for not wanting to shellac my nails.I got a mani-pedi. Mani done first and I again was asked about shellac and again I said no. Tech put lotion on my hands, then proceeded to paint my nails. I dont get my nails done often, but that seemed to defeat the purpose. Needless to say, the paint job was chipping within two days.My pedi was just as bad. I dont need to understand their language to know the tech working on my feet was talking to another tech about the state of my feet (I had calluses). This other tech turned around, looked at my feet, then looked at me and continued talking to my tech. You dont talk about your client while theyre sitting in front of you.The price board on the wall said one thing but I was charged another. Didnt want to deal with the hassle of questioning it. Just wanted to get the heck out of there. Not going back.

Very poor customer service ! Walked in and no one spoke to me . When I asked if I could get services ( a fill ) they said we are busy I said for the day ? It was only 2pm and the hours said closing was 4pm - the nail tech said yes we are busy for the day Ill never return to this nail shop !

I got my nails done there yesterday and the lady doing my nails was Tina. I asked for a full set. My boyfriend and I walked over to the nail polishes (like we always do), and she told me to come sit at her station. She barely spoke to me and rushed through my nails. I look like I have little squares on my nails. In the end she charged me 40 dollars for a full set one color nail.

Ask for Van. Hes the man!
