The owner of the place is not a nice person. He only seems nice on the phone, he likes to change prices up so that he can squeeze money out of you. He doesnt at all about what situation your in, even if ou show him proof.

Wonderful experience. I had an issue with my car getting towed and was worried it was gonna be a long and painful process but as soon as I called they gave me all the information I needed and answered all my questions. Ended up figuring out the whole situation. Definitely one of the best tow yards I’ve ever dealt with. The women on the phone A1 customer service 💯

Last night I was stuck in a ditch and Berrys was there in 15 minutes. Funny guy with a great sense of humor and gave a discount from the phone quoted price. Very satisfied.

Right off the bat RUDE. They should fix their phones because I couldn’t hear the woman’s quote for the trip. I repeated what she said just for clarification and she immediately got worked up and nasty. I had barely had the chance to understand what she had said before she went off telling about how much insurance is and that I should just find someone else. I apologized for bothering her and she hung up on me. They are close by and thought I could support someone local and close to me but I should’ve CHECKED THE REVIEWS before inquiring. This rating is for Melissas excellent communication skills and expeditious response time. I have called all the other towing companies in Berkeley and Oakland and with the exception of V&U Towing who was also professional and respectful, the other companies seem to be run by one and dont take women in business seriously.

They towed my car at 1:30pm, less than 3 miles... I pick it up at 4:00pm, charged me 365$s.The guy was very nice but blunt, which is fine.I get my car back, someone went through my messenger bag, I assume looking for a gadget such as a Laptop cause it is originally a laptop bag. Someone goes through my ashtray, again I believe to look for money. My trunk is in Disarray.Very sketchy business practices.

Our vehicle got towed, and I called berry bros and went there in person after doing my own research into California vehicle code and not only were they extremely impatient with me, but rejected that they were in violation and will not release the car. For anybody looking at this - VC 22658 states The storage facility shall not require any of the documents to be notarized and VC 22651.07 states they must release the car with payment of all storage and towing fees, valid photo id, and reliable documentation showing you are the owner or authorized agent of the owner . I am appalled at their service, I was hung up on several times, interrupted and ignored, by the owner herself. All I wanted was information, I was courteous and understanding and I cannot say the same for them. They are committing fraud.

My experience with this rude bob guy was the worst !!!! I would never recommend his services to anyone!!!!!! He charged my husband $370 and messed up his tail light and all he said was “ we did no damage to that truck” people like that shouldn’t even own a business!!!!!!!!!!

We were in a car accident Friday night and they picked up our car and we called on Saturday to see if we could come and clean out our car and the lady that answered the phone was very rude and she said that we had to pay $90 dollars to get through the gate on the weekends. Which is BS we were the ones hit by another car.So we are gonna go try today to clean out our car.

Best towing service, licensed, insured certified, pro tow guys, great rates, deal with the best towing company, they know how to tow cars. they have been here over 50 years, only legit towing service here, second best is ken betts, dont try to save a few dollars dealing with low life scum bags like R&R tow guys or stupid john muir, most of this tow guys arent licensed nor insured . what you pay what you get .i have a nice bmw, i dont trust noone but berry brothers, why? Really bad service. bike got stolen and ended up with them. they treated me with the least of respect. I was asking questions about the bike, for example, what condition it was in and so on. after my bike being stolen and ending up with them. I would have liked to feel like they were the heros. instead they are breaking my arm and a Leg and treating me like some prison inmate. they father and daughter both have rrally bad anger issues and need anger management classes. they treated me really racist and rude. they also hung up on me for asking questions. about the bike. questions like am I going t ok need a truck to get it out. and they would hang up, they hung up a total of 12 times.

These guys are unbelievably unprofessional. My car was towed resulting in a very unfortunate situation. I suddenly owed almost $1000 and the man who helped me was literally laughing in my face at my misfortune. I asked for a breakdown of the costs, he said youll see them on your receipt after you pay. Our entire ~10 minute exchange was along those lines - sarcasm and canned responses. He went out of his way to be as unhelpful as possible, and the guy clearly thinks hes a comedian. Ive never experienced anything like this before. If youre reading this, chances are youve already had a similar experience, and for that I apologize, but if youre legitimately looking for a towing service, avoid these unprofessional jerks at all costs.
