I wanted to be sure to write a glowing review for how quickly & smoothly the repair of our ductwork was handled by Penguin Air. We had no idea how poor the condition of our ductwork was! If that mildew had not formed in the ceiling in that one small area, we could have gone on for months or years not knowing we had holes in it!When we called for an inspection of our attic area to see what was causing the mildew, you guys were out within a day! Very quickly the problem was diagnosed, pictures taken of the ripped ductwork and wet insulation from the condensation that was forming from the cold air hitting the hot air.The crew that came out to do the repair and replacement of the ductwork were very respectful about asking permission to enter any rooms in the house, were very friendly to us & to our dogs. They worked so fast and were dying from the heat up in the attic-but always had a smile for us and had our ductwork replaced and the AC back on in just a couple of hours. They cleaned up their mess very well before they left and we can only say good things about them and the whole experience.Almost immediately we noticed an improvement in the coolness in our home, especially in the rooms closest to the deteriorated and torn duct work. What a difference it made to have new ductwork!Thank you so much for coordinating all of that, for getting it done so quickly, and for the crew being so great about doing such a miserably hot job!

Telepathic communication doesn’t work for me. Waited for two days for a tech to come to a schedule appointment. No notice of not coming, no call, no show. Even when he did show up, it was late, and after the second scheduled time. I tried to be a paying customer, and I understand being short staffed, and busy, but come on. Communication is the key.

Called and set appointment. Left work early to meet them during the appointment window time provided. They did not show. Then I got a call over an hour after the appointment asking me to reschedule. Terrible way to start a relationship with a customer.

Our air wasnt working they came over and replaced the conductor, it switched on and off. He told us the compressor was bad and had to.replace the unit. We asked how much the outside unit would cost and told us the whole thing had to be replaced at 5800. We know that wasnt true since we had the units replaced at different times before. Got a second opion and they put in the capacitor and lo and behold it worked. They just wanted a saleSo instead of 5800 it was 300 and my house is comfortable

I called to have my HVAC serviced/looked at because it was not working as it should. Gus came out to service/inspect and he was very thorough and knowledgeable. AC going out in the middle of summer in Florida, is a nightmare. Called Penguin at 10 am, they arrived by 2:30. I called Penguin Air, and a technician was at the house within 2 hours! Marcello diagnosed the problem immediately. We worked together to figure out what replacement unit would be the best for us. Stephen was great in keeping in touch and keeping the process moving forward. He was also very helpful in communicating with my insurance people so we had a very favorable outcome. We have had a relationship with Penguin Air for several years, using them for routine maintenance of our A/C system. On Monday we came home from a 1-2 hour trip to the store to find our house very warm and the A/C unit not running. I called Steve at Penguin Air and he had a technician out within 2 hours to check out the unit. Excellent service. My AC died last summer and Penguin was at the house the next day. The installers worked up in the attic for 9 hrs removing a very old system that the previous installers failed to remove plus remove the system that just failed and installed the new system. Just moved into my new town house and could not get the AC to cool! I chose Penguin based on the good reviews. Even though it was after hours someone in the office answered and sent someone out within 30 minutes! Gus was wonderful totally professional and knowledgeable. Gus(manager) is very nice guy, I called him on Thursday late night, he answered my call in early Friday morning, then also came on Friday afternoon to give me the quote. When I decided to work with him, he called and set up the portable air conditioner came after 15 minutes for me to use. The whole brand new AC unit was installed on Wednesday and working fine so far. The price is not cheapest that can compare to some companies, but I think what you paid...what you get. I have 10 years warranty parts and 10 years warranty labor plus 3 years free maintenance. Two months ago we had Penguin Air install a new air conditioning system inside and out. First of all Gus was the most professional and most informative of the five specialists we called. In our opinion, Penguin was the best though not the cheapest yet very competitive. Because Gus explained everything and showed us different units, we were able to get everything we needed and some bells and whistles. The workers arrived around 10:30 in the morning and did not leave until 8:30p.m. when the job was finished, They did a wonderful job, and we are completely satisfied. As a first time home owner I was incredibly anxious when my AC started acting up only a year after purchasing a condo. Gus and his fantastic service crew at Penguin Air, walked me through my issues step by step and made sure I understood what the problem was and gave me all the options to go about fixing it. My house was hit by lightning and destroyed my AC unit. I research and study everything before making big purchases, like a new AC unit, and met with nine (9), yes NINE, air conditioning companies at my home in South Fort Myers for quotes. Many had good reviews online or were large established AC companies, but one company stood out above all others, Penguin Air. Gus, their Sales Manager, was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and took his time explaining everything to me in terms I could easily understand. Gus was the only salesman out of nine to properly diagnose that the existing duct work in my home was insufficient for the existing and future unit, and that this would be corrected for free with the install. Gus was also the only salesman that did not attempt to sell me options I did not need, and even talked me out of several options that I thought I needed. In the end, I was provided with a quote that put the competition to shame and included an air conditioning unit that was superior to all others quoted. I made my decision to go with Penguin in the late afternoon hours of a Thursday and Gus was still able to arrange a next day installation of the new unit. No other company was able to do this. This was a relief since my home was 88 degrees inside and sleep was impossible.The installers, Wally and Lewis, arrived early the next morning as arranged and were punctual, polite, knowledgeable, and professional. They removed their shoes before entering my home, took their time, and the installation was beautiful. They corrected the air flow issue with the correct size duct work, and installed two new returns in my kid’s bedrooms at my request. Wally’s expertise in duct work was exemplary and the finished product appeared as if it had been installed when the home was built. Gus followed up with me immediately after the installation to ensure that I was satisfied and made sure that I knew they were there for me should I have issues or need anything in the future. I cannot say enough good things about Penguin Air and Gus. I have a home in Cape Coral and the air-conditioning system had never been replaced. Over the years, patch jobs were done on the a/c system, and recently there was water on the kitchen ceiling and it was coming from the a/c system. I called Penguin Air and someone came out immediately to assess the situation. I then received a call from Gus who told me that I needed to replace the a/c system because patches were no longer going to work. He explained in detail what needed to be done. A day later, I had a new a/c system that is running beautifully and there are no leaks! Without hesitation, I would recommend Penguin Air. Out of the blue we suddenly realized on a Friday night that our AC was not emitting cool air! We called Penguin Air and two other well-known AC companies in our area, but Penguin Air was the most accommodating and quickest to be responsive to our needs and concerns, not to mention more affordable and flexible with payment. Thanks to Cale Lenhart we had a new, and WORKING, AC Unit for our home within less than 24 hours of our initial call! The technicians who installed the new unit were quick, knowledgeable, professional and efficient. We are so happy and grateful they all came to our aid!

We used Penguin Air to work on our condo in Fort Myers and started out with a bad experience with tech Mike A. who didnt finish the job. I demanded to work with a tech who understood customer service and they assigned Gus to me. He is definitely the best tech for customer service and technical knowledge. Penguin A/C is a very reliable and honest company. I found this company in 2012, because they were the only one who can come to repair my A/C on Sun without extra charge. Ever since then, I have them maintain my A/C every 6 months. Every time they send different technician and their techs services and Q/C are very consistent. Like yesterday, I have a regular maintenance by a senior tech named Gus. Like other techs from his company, he did a great job by carefully checking the entire system before he started to work on it. He noticed that my A/C is almost 10 years old and the grilles inside the air-handler began to rust and built up the mildew due to moisture trapped inside the air-handler. That makes sense why all the ventilation inside my house have also built up black nasty stain. He patiently waled me through and explained to me how the system works and how bad it would be. Initially, I thought he was gonna sell something to me. In stead, he was selling his acknowledgement to me. I am a professional engineer. If you try to sell something to me, you have to convince me with basic engineering acknowledgement and it has to make sense to me. The final verdict is I purchased the new A/C system with reasonable price (includes a big discount) and extra services without additional charge. The story not just ends here. I got the same day installation even though his crew spent a bit more than 2 hours at my house to install the units and left my house about 9pm. His installation crew, Eddi and Louis, are excellent installer and kind of anal. They installed the air-handler and compressor units carefully even it was late. After the installation, they tested and tested and double checked the R-410A pressure after A/C running for minutes. Before they leave, they even clean my garage and restored like it has never happened. Today, Gus another crew, Mike and Andrew came in and spent 3 hours to clean my air ducts and all ventilation with HEPA suction machine as part of no additional charge service.. They did a heck of another great job by cleaning the filthy air ducts. When I came home afternoon, I immediately noticed that it smells a lot cleaner. Oh, I forget to mentioned that they even install the ultra light in my air-handler for me. In additions, these guys are always on time. What a 5-star services! I am highly satisfied with Penguin Air high quality services. I will keep sticking with them and I strongly recommend those who needs A/C services to give them a try.

We arrived to the house and found out the furnace wasnt working so as I do most of my looking for good businesses on Google I found this company they stated they would come out for a service call that would be free after repair when the person was here from their company he kept insisting on replacing my furnace with a new one I explained to them I just wanted to repair it they told me it was going to cost a lot of money I didnt feel comfortable being pressured into a large purchase so I suggested I called him back and I had a different company come out they look at the system and replace one small part the system is working I would suggest getting second opinions this is my personal opinion regarding this company

I used you guyss service a year ago and was satisfied. last week my another house tenant reported the AC did not work and i just suggested them to call Penguin. Again. Than you Penguin Air. I arrive back to Fort Myers after being away for weeks. It was 90 plus degrees and my AC was not working. Penguin Air was recommended by my homewatch company, they were amazing. The Tech (Marcello) was very helpful, he was in touch with Steven and Dale at the office and together they solved my problem. I need to add that their response time was less than 30 minutes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Horrible Service! They installed my new AC unit, since the installations there were problems, the guys that installed it seem that had no experience, at least with the unit I bought. It took them like 3 times to pass inspection. Now is 1 half year since installation and the unit is not working since Tuesday afternoon (today is Monday). The girl in the office has no sense of priority! She said on Thursday when I call her at noon that the replacement part was in the UPS truck, then when I called again around 4:00 pm she (Joyce) said they had cancel my order! I have call today but no one answers, there is no manager or anyone to take charge and get things done! Not very happy with their service, the sad part is that I already spend to much money on this. Update since I knew they were not going to be on top of things I called this morning to find out what is the status on the part and she says that their supplier has it in stock but she cannot schedule me until tomorrow! I have been with out AC since last Tuesday and she doesnt think Im a priority??? She has the nerve to tell me that her technician is booked!! If I could take stars off I would give them negative 5.

I was very pleased with our service. The conditions were awful with rain most of the day but our installer persevered and got everything done and done well. He was very pleasant and professional. Very pleased and would recommend without hesitation

Cant speak highly enough of this company. I have had a few run-ins with Air Conditioning Outfits over the last few years that left me skeptical, and ultimately led to more fixes. Andrew sent out Tim and his wife Nathalie. What a knowledgeable, fair, and pleasant pair. Couldnt be happier with the service provided. They are now my ONLY company for Air Conditioning and Heating. My experience with Penguin Air has been very good. Ive been using them now for 6 years. Ive always called for Gus the technician to come over. When I feel comfortable and trust someone, Im a stick and stayed. I dont feel like hes over selling anything I dont need. Being a tradesmen my self, I know qualified people when I see them. You can count on qualified technician when you call PenGuin Air.

Gus was the BEST!!!😁 Showed up late in the afternoon when we had no ac. He worked in the dark to get us back up and running that night. Gus was very informational, explaining how the system works exceptional professional guy top notch service.

I called several different top rated companies and finally settled on Penguin Air based on their professionalism, quality parts and most importantly, price. We had a challenging job with two older systems. Gus came out and broke down the steps necessary for them to convert the house from two systems to one. Once we settled on a price, the team was out the very next day to begin work. Gus and his team were able to remove both systems (inside and out) and install my new system with modified duct work in two days time.
