Robert assessed the situation and decided to move it to a more convenient place. Then install the necessary ducting. Job was excellent and the attitude of the workers outstanding.

I bought a older home refurbed with a new A/C unit. Installation was adequate, but the installation failed to upgrade the circuit breaker servicing the new A/C unit from 40A to 60A. A year later, cold weather came and the heater repeatedly tripped the circuit. A third party electrician was called out and I paid extra to correct an installation error.

They guys were very nice and very efficient. Did a great job.

Our HVAC system broke down several days before Christmas. Matt S. was the lead installer on our job which occurred on Christmas Eve day. Fortunately, Sunset Air scheduled two install teams to help with a timely installation process. Matt oversaw his double crew and finished the job in half day’s work. Equipment usage was explained to us and questions were answered. The crew cleaned everything and even swept the floor when finished. Matt was professional and knowledge and valued us as customers. His crews were the same.Three days prior to this installation, we had a Sunset Air service tech come out to examine our broken system. Aliston R. explained his findings and offered several options. Ive purchased 2 A/C units from Sunset over the past 13 years, once at my former condo & more recently at my house. I also have them do the maintenance visits. Ive found them reliable, competent & responsive. I believe them to be an organization that operates with integrity. At my request, my recent maintenance visit was done without FF contact due to Covid 19. Tom stayed in contact several times by phone.I have confidence in recommending them.

Tyler called before arriving and arrived on time. He checked the air conditioning and educated me on not needing batteries for my thermostat. I wasnt aware I didnt need them. He and another technician worked quickly to clean and check the air conditioner and installed a new capacitor. To my knowledge this had never been checked before. The Sunset Team was outstanding, from Ryan who spent hours with me crawling through the attic and did a detailed proposal, to the install team that was at our house for two solid days and did excellent work, the service tech. that came out and handled the final start up adjustments and of course Lydia who was so organized in coordinating the install and warranty paperwork. Sunset is a company of professionals and its clear to me they value doing the right thing for their customers. We are very happy with the work and pricing.

I have deal with this company since 2003 and I was happy with their service, they replace the whole unit in 2018 and service it. Until last week, I call them, the temperature in the house was 81 Fahrenheit, they show up within two hours, the tech check the system he told me that there was a leak on the evaporator That has to be replaced, which is under warranty, he told me that he will put free on and that there will be a charge, he also told me he will do this until the new evaporator will come. I ask if he can find out if the manufacturer of the ac unit will cover the charge for free on, he made a call to his manager and he said “Don’t charge him until we check with the manufacturer .“ Before the tech leaves the house the temperature stay the same even hotter he told me it was his mistake he forgot to turn the compressor on I ask what should I do if something happens after he leaves he told me they work 24 hours that I can call anytime. Four hours later I have to call because the temperature reach 85 inside the house. I told to Sandy she told me that they will not send a tech until I pay the bill, I told her that the manager said I will not be charge until they find out if the company will pay for that charge. I was very upset I felt they where playing games with me. I needed the ac working I decided to pay the bill so that they can send a tech after I pay the bill she said that that are not going to send a tech that night, even they offer 24hr service. I have call 2 days later to talk to a manager, Sandy answer the phone she said manager is not available that she will give him a message and here I am 4 days later waiting and nobody has try to contact me, that is wait I decided to write this review. It gives me no choice but to pick a different company to finish the work.

I had my AC united replaced in early August with great prices! Melanie was a pleasure to work with and was able to get a tech to come out within a couple days. Overall the experience was great and Sunset was able to get my AC replaced quick. I highly recommend using Sunset Air and Home Services. They are great to work with!

Jon Z. performed our most recent service. We have whole house filters, which only need changing annually, so he completed the rest of the maintenance by thoroughly cleaning the coils and units. I had a ptac air conditioner in my condo that was install under 3 years ago. It stopped working and the company that I bought it from said the repairs would be over $1000 and it was not under warranty (it only had a 1 year warranty). After checking reviews and pricing from 3 companies, I decided to go with Sunset Air. They had a comparable unit in stock with a much longer warranty. From the time I called to get pricing until it was actually installed was under 5 hours, and I was still waiting for a replacement quote from the original company! Thank you Sunset Air!

The techs did a thorough job investigating the issue with my compressor. It was determined that a replacement compressor was needed. The new unit was replaced and the A/C is working perfectly.

The Technician performed the requested work OK. My biggest problem with this service experience was that the tech did not wear a mask when close to me, when he came into my house. Not wearing disposable gloves when touching the thermostat, door handles, etc. I have done business with Sunset for a long time and will again but I will make more demands for protective procedures before the tech visit

Unbelievable service!! Our Air Conditioning stopped working. I called Sunset and the service representing was helpful and explained my options. She stated they could be out sometime today unsure of time but the tech would call 30 minutes before arrival. The tech called 1 hour later with a 40 min heads up. He checked system, serviced and we signed up for the Maintenance program! Changed filters, filled up coolant and had air working again in no time!! At the start of my service Call for my 11-year-old system the service technician Greg did all he could but found that my system just wasn’t able to be saved. He gave me many options for a new system and helped me make the correct decision not based on the company making a big profit but by helping me decide what I actually needed. The installation team that installed my new air-conditioning system was very professional and efficient. They took their time to do the job right and I very much appreciate it they did not take offense to me asking stupid questions and gave me a very understandable answers. I have been dealing with Sunset for years for the service of my a/c unit and they were the seller and installer of the replacement unit that I put in about three years ago. I have dealt with multiple members of their team and each time it has been a pleasant and professional experience. Will continue to do business with them into the future.

I can’t review about their work because I CANNOT get a call back or a quote!! Ryan came to my house to see what would work for a replacement unit. I gave him my email to send quotes. I never got it. Called the company. They said they would pass along the message and Ryan would re-send. Never received it. Called back AGAIN, girl said she’d have Ryan call me. He NEVER called! The only reason I can think of as to why Ryan won’t call me back or send me quotes is because I told him I wanted quotes (which I understand may change) so that I can be prepared and to know who to call when my AC fails which will probably be this summer. In other words, that I’m not replacing unit ASAPEDIT; 5/10. Thank you for the call back and the quotes

Sunset Air was the last company i called fora estimate.They were very courteous and prompt with an appt.When i met with them at the house they gave me 3 different estimates on units and explained all of them. Once we made decision to go with them a date was set up. With it being summer it was a few weeks out. Well our unit dies about 3 days later. They were out promptly and got it running until they could replace it all .We are extremely pleased with the whole process and love our new unit.I would highly recommend utilizing this company for AC issues

Tyler called to announce his estimated arrival time and was on time. He explained what the service entailed and showed me how to change the air filter and recommended a time line for changes. He also advised me of the number of service calls left in my contract and he was a polite, neat, young man who worked quickly and quietly.

There was something wrong with our air conditioning system on Memorial Day weekend. Luckily, Sunset Air was able to send someone to our house on Sunday evening without hesitation. Requested a service of our system, we were advised of the fee to look at the unit and they would than let us know what it needed, everything sounded good until Cindy called back and said there was no permit for the unit installed. I contacted the permit department in Fort Myers, got the permit number and than called Cindy back with it. I called to confirm she was able to find the permit and was told they would not service this system because they recommended replacement in 2017 at this point we were not able to spend the $$$ required to replace the system. Upon discussing it with my mother she said nothing but than later surprised us with a new AC unit through the company she uses for an early Christmas gift. I guess my point comes down to, I told Cindy that another company installed and she still had me chase down the information and once supplied had another excuse... Wouldnt recommend doing any business with this company and their strong arm tactics.***UPDATE: Company states voids warranty because they didnt install AC after speaking with Trane I was told that is not the case, I think the company instead of responding with fake information should fact check. Its like saying because you bought your NEW car from X dealer he is the only one who can service it.... No you can take it to any dealer who sells or services that make. Had another company fix the issue and happy to not do business with this company who makes excuses for how they treat customers!!

Joe was GREAT! Took the time to show me a few things I didn’t know about my air conditioning unit. Was on time. Did a great job. And he was very nice. I hope I get him again in six months for my next maintenance appointment.

Grant just completed our semi-annual maintenance. He was courteous and professional. He was able to make several adjustments in our system to help keep the humidity level much more reasonable. Grant did an outstanding job for us. We would appreciate having him handle our service again.

When we bought our house about 6 years ago, the AC system had been installed by Sunset Air. Initially, we had a few problems. But, once we found Aliston, everything got taken care of. We always ask for him to do our service. He is thorough and knows what he is doing. As an added bonus, he is also very nice.
