Worst haircut I have ever gotten. When I woke up this morning, my hair was below my waist and now it is barely at bra strap length. I asked for a trim on my hair and my layers and for it to be cut in the “V” shape it was already in and walked out with a choppy mess. I had to book a last minute appointment today to fix the mess. I had to lie and say it was good so she would stop cutting my hair. I loved my long hair and now I can’t stand how short it is. I have never posted a bad review before but I am hoping to save people from seeing Janice. Picture of the aftermath in the photos album (yellow shirt, black hair).

It just feels so comfortable here. They decipher my vague directional guidance and I walk out with a great cut again and again. Despite being at ground zero of our tourist district they mostly serve locals.

Went in and came out with uneven patches. Told the owner a quarter inch off top. Took 2 inches as well. She went to the phone about 4 times during. Cannot keep up. Does not take direction. Very disappointed.

Excellent atmosphere with fun people. Very conveniently located in Downtown next to great food and entertainment. We have been going here for years and will continue!

So, I finally came to Alley Cats for a haircut! Amazing! And, I wondered why I had waited so long. Casey was right on with my (difficult) A-line bob. My hair is super curly and I have gone to places that wanted me to flat iron my hair first, so that they could cut it. Really?Casey sat me down and went to work. Not only was my hair sexy and sassy curly, but once I got home to straighten it... the end result was fantastic! No long strays (no pun intended) or uneven fade. Needless to say, I’m a believer! Thank you Casey!

I went into Ally Cats for my first time yesterday, and the staff greeted me and offered me something to drink (coffee, tea, water) while I waited to be seen, which didnt take long.Sitting in chair, I showed Debra (Excellent Stylist) on what haircut I wanted, she took one look at the picture and started sculpting. She was very kind and precise on what she was doing, she even emptied the cold water out of the spray bottle and replaced it with warm water. After a short time, when she was done, the results were beyond what I expected, I couldnt be more happy on my haircut and the great experience I had at Ally Cats.Thank YouI will be coming back!!

I called and made an appointment on the same day. Jessica was able to schedule me easily. She was extremely nice and friendly. I also loved my cut and would definitely go back. Great value too, with $30 ladies cuts.

The most personable and laid back place you will ever find. Jess is the absolute best! Alley Cats is a cash only old school kinda place and a barber / salon where you go where you should not be in a hurry. Just sit back and take it in

I was in Flagstaff to get car repaired, made a last minute appointment. Casey cut my hair, did a fabulous job. Wonderful fun place. Highly recommend!

Made an appointment a week and a half ago to get my hair dyed and cut, got there the day of my appt to be told they only had me down for a cut and didnt have time to do what I needed. Just had to cancel.Just moved to Flagstaff and this place was highly recommended. Pretty bummed, but its life.

This place is the jam. The ladies here are all great stylists and will get set you up, lookin dapper and such. They also have great senses of humor and can put a smile on your face. Never had a bad cut here. Best shop in Flag.

Janice has been cutting my hair since I was in college, and I wont go anywhere else so long as shes in business. Great haircuts, fun people, almost the same price as Cost Cutters or Super Cuts. Sometimes it takes a while to get my hair cut, but its just because Im catching up on whats going on. Check them out!

Went to Alley Cats for the first time and got a great hair cut from Debra. I grew up going to the same barber in Flagstaff until he retired a couple of months ago and was not looking forward to finding someone new but the gals at Alley Cats were amazing and I highly recommend them.

I went in Wednesday without an appointment and was fortunate to have Emmy cut my hair. I like Alley Cats and have been going there for over a year and get good hair cuts, but Emmy gave me a great hair cut ! Men this is a great place to go for a hair cut, very relaxed and friendly.

Was travelling through on holiday. Had my hair cut by Amanda, was very friendly, very good and would go back again if I was ever in Flagstaff. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly, fun and really hot staff.

Jan, the owner, gave me the absolute worst cut I have ever had and I mean, it is so choppy that my photo shoot tomorrow (which is why I came in to her) should not even happen. It is just that bad.I do not know what she was thinking this time around. Since there is but one solution and that is unfortunately, time, I will not bother to go back and have her fix it.I came in for a shampoo, style and cut and walked out without the shampoo (since she decided having a headache, it wouldnt be good for me to bend my head??? (I got charged for one, too). And my request to have her show me some styles also was disregarded. Her words were, you know what youre doing.Really?I will NEVER go back to that place. It used to be an excellent and consistent salon. Now, you really never know what youre gonna get.I truly wish I could leave a better review, but there is no way that is now possible. Disappointed is not the word. The choppy, haphazard pieces (and strangely, only on the right side of my head, so it really looks bizarre) that I have to let grow back now is truly beyond unattractive.$30 plus tip to wait for TIME to do her thing. Yah! Exactly what women want when we trust someone to be PRESENT while cutting our hair....Update: went to Casey over at Headfirst today and not only did she and other people agree that the cut I came in with was AWFUL ( Jans choppy beyond belief cut!) but now, my hair looks excelente!Id suggest you go to --Headfirst salon-- instead, if looking for a great cut youll love, and specifically, I love Caseys work at Headfirst salon on Humphreys!

Sloppy haircut. I spent 45 minutes at home trying to fix the damage. Maybe they figure guys dont care? The stylist spent 7 minutes on the haircut, and the charge was $23 + tip. I shouldnt have tipped. I looked like a 7-minute haircut. Ill be trying somewhere else next time.

Service is friendly, but sloppy work. Missed a lot of stray hairs and didnt even try to get them once I pointed them out. After the second point out, I gave up. Did not take card and didnt have adequate signage indicating this and had to go to an atm and get cash. Atm charged 3 dollars. Not much money but highly irritating. Charged $20 for a $12 cut. I figured $20 would bring the expertise a bit and she would try and get at least a $5 tip or even $10.Overall disappointed with hair cut. Wife had to finish it.

Was greeted warmly by two attractive stylists. My stylist was friendly and gave me a great cut. I will go back in future.
