I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience today, more then met my expectations. This was definitely the best haircut experience I have ever had. I arrived with 9 months of overgrown hair and after briefly telling Denise how I usually get my cut she expertly hooked me up. Loved the extra touches too. The massaging chair/shampoo, hot towel etc were over the top and relaxing. Oh and the cut? Probably the best I’ve ever had, my wife of 6 years says it’s the best cut she’s ever seen on me. Needless to say I highly recommend this place and Denise did a wonderful job. I’ll be back!

Checked-in at 5p with (first available stylist) a recommended arrival time of 5:20p. I arrived at 5:15 and waited, without anyone acknowledging me, until 5:45. Based on their 30 minute hold window, I was surprised when some gentleman arrived 20 minutes after I did but was called back at 5:45, before me. An employee indicated that he was in line first, but I am not understanding how that is possible given the policy. Promptly left at 5:45 after expressing my concern to the staff.

I got the full experience: haircut, beard trim, shampoo ( with hot towel), and shoulder massage. Just over 30 bucks. Very man friendly. I tipped well...

The stylist were nice. They did a good job on my hair and were glad to cut my hair how I wanted it. They suggestions were great and made sure I was comfortable.

Sylvia is very skilled and provides friendly service. This place allows walk-ins but your patience is needed and it was worth the wait. I have a pixie hair cut and my hair growth swirls so Im very skeptic when finding a barber. Sylvia did great she did way better than I expected and even gave honest feed back. I left looking good, cleaned up and confident. Im a total Karen when it comes to my hair but I was so happy and distracted with the outcome I was not phased. Thank you for being available and giving me a great hair cut. I will be back. Also thanks for recommending the hair paste.

Incredible! Sylvia will give you the old school hair salon experience AND a slick cut. Plus she can do braids! Efficient but thorough, and really knows how to cut up and kiki with this drag queen. Had to make my first review to tell the world about her.

When you need a hair cut on a short notice, this is a good place to go with no appt needed. Ive taken my boys twice. The reason Im giving 3 stars is because I took both of my boys under 12 years old, yet I was charged the adult price for my oldest son. I didnt know until after I had left and looked at my receipt when I got home. Instead of them assuming my oldest was over 12, they should have asked. Its not right for them to charge an adult price for an 11 year old when they offer a childrens price for kids under 12. Because of this, I would prefer to take my kids elsewhere at this point in time.

No wait got right in. The hairstylist was great with my picky husband. Unfortunately you could see some of the staff did not want to be there and it showed on their faces.

What’s the point of having online check in if you don’t honor it. I checked in with Sylvia specifically based on good reviews, showed up 2 minutes before the time the app told me. About a 5-10 minute wait for Sylvia to wrap up with her previous client. The customer queue screen showed that I was next. Sylvia took someone else, and asked me who I was checked in with. I said her, and she said oh this guy needed to be put in line so I’d have to wait. Thanks for wasting my time.

With online check in there was no wait, we knew exactly when to arrive. The place seemed VERY clean and sanitary, felt very comfortable in their precautions toward the pandemic. Friendly welcoming upon entering, I feel comfortable and confident when my 2 boys get their hair cut. My oldest loves the MVP afterwards Id say its the main reason choosing Sportclips well before the quarantine. Now its our #1 choice because I feel it is a safe sanitary place to take my children during this uncertain time. Thank you ladies! Keep up the hard work!

I decided to make the trip up to Flagstaff to get my hair cut before getting engagement photos taken this weekend. My girlfriend likes my hair spiked so I told the lady at least 3 times that I wanted it left long enough to spike. During the hair cut, I had to have different things corrected because they were not done correctly or the way I had explained. They lady showed how short she was going to cut the top and I said that was as short as I wanted it but it could be left a little longer. She initially cut it shorter than she had showed me. Then proceeded to continue to cut it shorter. Now my hair is too short to spike and was cut uneven somehow. Guess I can wear a hat like I normally do everyday.

Two successful boys haircuts....1 pleasant stylist.... if both were pleasant it would be a5

I get my haircut all the time but this time the lady made a penny size bold spot on the back of my head. She didn’t tell me until a someone else notice it. Embarrassing!!

This place has been pretty hit or miss for me. There was a period of time where I had several bad haircuts from them so I stopped going until my normal place was closed due to Covid-19. I went back recently and had a great haircut. Its up to you. Just dont have any expectations going in. Staff is always nice and friendly.

I like their sign in and waiting system. I also like that they keep track of your previous haircut via your phone number, so you can get a consistent haircut every time. Staff is friendly and skilled.

Checked in online, was quoted 15 minutes upon arrival. All the stylist were busy so one lady told me they would mark me as arrived once one was free. While I was waiting someone came in who did not check in online and checked in on the ipad. He was called back before me because nobody ever marked me as arrived. Instead of correcting their mistake they started with the walk in instead of me and now Ive been waiting for 20 minutes and still waiting.....so whats the point of checking in online? If a place is going to charge more they should atleast be more professional.UPDATE: after posting my review I saw quite a few bad reviews regarding actual hair cuts so I decided to not even give them a chance after the terrible service.

First and last time going here, they messed up my hair cut, the lady proceeded with insults saying I look like a fool and that I act like I’m 14 when I never even said a word to her. I tried to pay with a coupon and she wouldn’t take it. Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had they really need to get their stuff together.

Friendly, experienced staff, definetly recommend using the app or checking in online to minimize the wait, as it can be extensive. I recommend the MVP with shampoo, scalp and shoulder massage, because why not get a shoulder massage?

For as long as I’ve been getting my hair cut, I’ve never experienced more problems than I have the last three times I’ve come here. I’ve had three different stylists the last three times I’ve visited and there’s always been a pretty big mistake. I don’t know if I’m just unlucky, but I probably won’t risk coming back here again.

I went in with a full beard and needing a low fade haircut. I came out with no beard, and a high top haircut. Shame on me for going to Sports Clips. I would go here if you need a buzz cut for your child, but thats about it. The lawnmower could have come closer to what I asked for.

What a dump. Not only is it dirty, but it takes over an hour just to get your haircut. Always crowded, the girls are the slowest haircutters in the world, theres never enough girls working. And theyre raising prices!Not to mention its packed with these damn NAU kids. Just another reason Flagstaff has been Phoenixed.And dont be fooled.... the girls DO NOT look like the ones in the commercials. Yikes.
