I originally shared a review through a different website, but my review was somehow taken down. 🙄 So I wanted to share my experience on a different website about this apartment complex. I lived here for over three years and at the beginning had a pretty great experience. I understand inflation occurs, but it was going up a pretty significant percentage each year. Also the amenities were unavailable for a while due to renovations so we could not even access them all the time. It is hilarious how they also bragged about having many printers in their computer lab, but they didn’t even supply paper. You have to bring your own. And I cannot even tell you how many times I went there to print something and the printers were out of order. As for the gym, they got rid of a lot of good machines just to add a punching bag that I think I saw being used once by someone. Also the staff was not the most professional. My husband and I tried to call the front desk several times and it went automatically to voicemail. So my husband went down to the office where the employee proceeded to argue with him that something was wrong with his phone and called him a liar, even though I also tried and the call would not go through. Every time we went to the front area there was a new employee, the staff turnover was insane. Which is probably why they were not the kindest and were not very knowledgeable. Overall it was a fine place to live, but not worth the increase in price. When our friends have moved to Fayetteville for military, I always recommend they look somewhere else.

West End at Fayetteville always finds an excuse to barge into your residence.And now, with their Preventative Maintenance Program, that means theyll be inspecting your apartment whenever they feel like it! Dont worry, they might send you an e-mail with a while youre away on duty or in the field 3 days in advance.Or, realistically, theyll put a note on your door while youre gone, and then help themselves inside anyway because you were gone the entire time.There was less micromanagement and intrusion when this place was called Plantation, but having an apartment named Plantation in North Carolina while being 500 meters away from a Bojangles probably raised too many eyebrows.I highly suggest for busy travelers/military to live somewhere else, unless you want to LIVE the experience of them constantly knocking on your door to come in.

My friend and I stopped by to check our different options they offered. We were helped by Taylor Barber, she was very pleasant and very professional. She was understanding of what worked best for us and didn’t try to “up sell” or anything that we weren’t interested in. Very nice place and friendly service.

These apartments homes are very luxurious and clean. We had some issues finding it due to the road construction, but Amy was helpful giving us directions. The tour staff was professional and showed me and the wife the two bedroom apartment home. They gave us Starbucks drinks and snacks for the road. This complex had so much to give other than a home. Great management!!!

We toured with Taylor and she did an excellent job at really bringing the complex to life! Not only did she make the tour fun, but did a great job at helping us paint a picture of what life would be like with West End at Fayetteville as our home. Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff, especially Abbie! She was so helpful giving me all the info I needed. Great location and I love that they have a pet park and wash for my puppy! Highly recommend!!

Great location! So close to base and all of the fun things Fayetteville has to offer. The maintenance men are so helpful and quick to respond, especially Johnnie! Amy gave me my tour when I was looking around and she was so friendly and helpful. Taylor and Mackenzie helped with my move in and made it so painless. When my a/c stopped working Haley made sure maintenance came over right away and called to see how it was doing the next day. Johnnie and Anthony fixed my a/c within the hour and explained what had happened in great detail. I would recommend Plantation to anyone thats moving to the area. They are so friendly and really have me loving where I live.

I just would like to highlight Ryan Williams, the maintenance guy! He was awesome and fixed everything I wanted to be fixed. He was on top of everything. He was polite, generous, and compassionate about how originally my apartment was not cleaned prior to me moving in. He understood and saw how it looked and fixed things the best to his ability.

We love everything about West End! Just to name a few... the management is amazing and always greets us with a smile, the sidewalks throughout the community are perfect for walks/runs, and the homes are BEAUTIFUL! We continue to be reassured that we made a great decision in choosing West End. :)

West End is AMAZING! When me and my husband first moved to the area we originally moved into a different apartment complex because we wanted to save money. We learned very quickly that you get what you pay for and decided we needed an apartment that was nicer and felt more like home, so at the end of our lease we moved into West End. The Office staff are Incredible, the maintenance staff are timely and thorough, the apartments are beautiful, and the amenities are super nice. We will definitely be here for a long time!

GREAT LOCATION!I moved in at the beginning of the pandemic and the move in process was so smooth, convenient, and COVID friendly. Since Ive been living here maintenance has responded quickly to my work orders and Haley always calls me to check in after the work is done. The ladies in the office are so ready to help and always so friendly.

The property is absolutely beautiful! I loved living here & enjoyed all of the amenities that the property has to offer. The office staff is a pleasure to work with & maintenance always fixes things right away. I love their community events as they are always so creative and fun. HRP is a great management company and truly cares for their residents.

I’ve lived here not too long ago. The staff was amazing, tentative, and kind. The area was really clean and it wasn’t noisy. I highly recommend this place as your first choice!

The apartments and area are beautiful. The staff representative Mrs. Barber was incredibly helpful and patient with moving in. The maintenance man Kevin went above and beyond to make sure everything squared once we got settled in. They truly care.

The staff is great - especially Mackenize and Taylor. Problems are resolved pretty quickly, good communication, and their door is always open. The area as a whole is quiet and I feel safe. I definitely recommend this complex to anyone.

We lived here just over a year and would recommend the complex to anyone moving to the area. Work orders were promptly addressed, the front desk staff was helpful with move-in/out and the apartment Itself had plenty of space. The gate often doesn’t work, but that didn’t bother us and we always felt safe.

Beautiful complex! The inside feels like your living in a house, and no grass or yard to keep up with. The pool is a super plus and so relaxing. Great location.

This is a very clean and well taken care of complex. The staff is friendly and willing to help or answer any questions. Close to Fort Bragg gates and shopping.

Fees!After a year, when I renewed, the pet fee increased by $5 ($20/mo) and so did the non optional valet trash ($30/mo). Washer and dryers are $45/mo and also, non optional.The staff has been patient with my many questions about the numerous fees that accompany regular rent.

I lived at these apartments for 2 and a half years and the staff has been nothing but welcoming and helpful in that time. I was in a 2 bed 2 bath and it had plenty of room and the amenities were fantastic. Its extremely close to base so I highly recommend this place to any military personnel looking for an apartment.

The front staff was extremely helpful during my move, Hailey was there every step of the way and Amy is always a delight when I go into the office! The man in front office is super helpful too! There’s been complaints about the amenities being shut down right now but it’s understandable during COVID! I’m glad they are taking the extra steps to keep us healthy and safe. I have recommended some coworkers and friends to check out Plantation and can’t wait for them to move in!

Moved to Fayetteville after being stationed at Bragg. Very close to base! Nice apartment, huge in size. Convenient location, close to everything in the area. The gym and pool are awesome. Maintenance always fixed when needed. Office staff helpful. Overall pleasant experience for across 2 years.

I lived here for a little over two years. I never had any issues and the staff was great. I was notified I was deploying and had to be gone in less than 30 days. I had difficulty communicating with the staff concerning this and ending my lease. Eventually, I ended my lease and moved out. While deployed I was notified that a bill was sent to collections while checking my credit score. I found out I was charged for an extra month and no one tried to contact me to pay the bill. I’ve tried contacting the company on multiple platforms and no luck with anyone responding. I had a wonderful time living here and wanted to move back once my deployment was over but I will not due to the lack of communication and being sent to collections with no attempt at communicating with me.

My husband and I have lived here for 13 months now and have had zero issues with anything! The management has always been nice and helpful, and although I have never dealt with the maintenance team, they seem friendly! We are moving soon because we are buying a house, and Lori has been awesome with answering all of our questions and giving us information! I have loved living at this place! The location is awesome, and the pool and grill area is an awesome perk, especially in the summertime! They have resident activities about two times a month and they are so fun. I definitely recommend living here!

The Plantation at Fayetteville is amazing! We have lived here for almost two years and wish we could take the apartment (and the staff) with us to our next military post. We have had no issues and any small maintenance problems are addressed quickly. The pool, grills, and fire pit are great for hanging out at and the clubhouse has fresh coffee and hot chocolate. In addition, there is plenty of parking for us and our guests, which is a huge bonus! Highly recommended.

I’ve been living here for a couple of years . I love it. All the office personnel are very friendly and the maintenance team are always on time and gets things done. I highly recommend this complex for anyone looking for a nice, friendly place to live.

This is a great apartment to live in. The staff is very attentive and accommodating with a great maintenance crew We put in a work order with the front office and a within 48 hours they came in and fixed the issue. The apartments are well built with great noise insulation, we almost never hear the neighbors and when we do it’s very faint. I would definitely recommend living here to others!

Been living here 7 months and I would actually like to point out the outstanding maintenance staff. My A/C was acting wonky and within an hour Jaime was at the door ready to help. Not even half an hour later and everything was back on and in great working order. He was extremely helpful and kind; he was even nice enough to explain the issue to my very non-mechanically inclined self. This has been the standard since I first moved in.

Easily one of the best apartment complexes I’ve ever lived at. I was nervous moving from Texas but Morgan made everything easy and made me feel at home! Definitely recommend!

We visited our family in Fayetteville and toured the property. Beautiful property, and the staff is so welcoming and nice. The pool is great and fresh cookies every day, wow! Thankful to know our son is in a safe area with good folks.

We have loved our almost 1 year experience living here!! We are a small family with two young children and we were worried about them being able to have space to play but Plantation makes sure to accommodate to kids and fur babies alike! Two playgrounds, two dog parks and generous open areas for them to run and play :) fantastic pool with splash pad and wading area, basketball and volleyball in the pool too! Plenty of parking and every building is very well lit at night, we always felt safe here. We are sad we will be moving but if ever had the option, we would choose Plantation ;)

I have been living here at the plantation since August of last year. This is a wonderful place to live. Lots of amenities and the staff are fantastic. I would like to give thanks to Mr Jamie in the maintenance department. I reported my AC being out. It was the end of the day. I said it could wait till tomorrow, but Jamie stayed until it was fixed. Which was well after ours. Thank you again sir.

I would like to start off by saying this is the best place Ive ever lived to date. Staff is beyond great and always greet you with a smile. The apartment office is always planning community activities, and other events which is amazing even though I dont ever make time to attend; but it is awesome what they do for residents like myself here. I strongly would like to recognize Jose Sanchez, a maintenance member of Plantation at Fayetteville for going above and beyond for me in a time of need. I was going out of town on business and wasnt able to pick up my important package before the office closed. Because I needed my package for my trip I made a non-maintenance call to the on-call maintenance phone, and within a reasonable amount of time I was able to pick up my very needed package before my trip began; which in return making me very successful and prepared. To me, I feel Jose Sanchez went above and beyond for a resident in need, especially during is off-duty hours he was able to put a smile on my face with gratitude with gratefulness in return, and deserves recognition. It was truly Phenomenal service, and simply just saying thank you once again, you really made my day!

Why on Earth would anyone name a premier apartment community...in the South of all places...plantation??? There was nothing luxurious or accommodating about a plantation....

Awesome complex with a staff that actually cares for their tenants. They make sure to put in work orders in on time unlike other apartments I’ve lived at in Fayetteville. With reasonable prices of course.

Beautiful apartments. I had no issues with management in large part. They have a lot of festivities for residents to attend like wine and paint night etc... I stayed in the newer phase so the appliance and everything were fairly up to date. The valet trash pick up was a plus. My issues stem mostly from the residents. No one and I mean absolutely no one picks up after their dog. So there is dog poo everywhere. Came downstairs every morning with 4-5 fresh new piles of poo. Also in my particular building music was played extremely inconsiderately loud M-F 4:30am-6:00am and 10:00pm-12am. Luckily I was at the end of my lease and decided not to renew. Also as far as getting your deposit back you can forget about it.

My husband and I moved in from out of state just a few months ago. They worked with us with our hectic schedule and made the transition an easy one. The staff members are very helpful and really nice. They know who we are and are very easy to talk to when we have questions or concerns. We had a few minor things that needed fixing and maintenance was on it that day and never kept us waiting. They are very good with emailing to let us know what is going on in our apartment community and host a lot of events. It’s a great apartment community about half a mile from the expressway and about 3 miles from the Fort Bragg All American and Yadkin gates. Definitely recommend!

Staff is very professional and friendly. Conducts fun events for families monthly. The maintenance staff is quick and always have a great outgoing attitude.

I lived here for a little over a year and have no complaints as far as the apartment and amenities themselves. The apartment was nicely sized with a decent sized kitchen. The amenities include a gym, pool and more. The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because I was blindsided with an electric bill long after I moved out. I called the electric company and they said it was an issue on the apartment complex’s end and when I called them they practically just blamed the situation on me for not changing my electric over. The bill was way over what I normally paid and made no sense considering they said no one moved in until a month after I had left. I wish they would’ve at least told me to cancel services I’ve never had to worry about that with any other complex I’ve lived in.

I initially chose to rent here because of the location and a rent special they were running. These apartments are pretty standard, although they do have resident events approximately once or twice a month. I did have three major issues however.1) My husband and I first toured the property in March with a move in date of mid-May. We paid a deposit and all fees associated with moving in and was told they would call us when they had an apartment available since it was longer than 60 days out. We then called them in late April asking about our apartment, to which we were told that they had no record of us. After several phone calls, they were finally able to find our records and give us a move in date. They then told us that the leasing agent we were speaking to had left, and the current agents didn’t know anything about us.2) Promptly after move in, I submitted my one and only work order to fix a loose front door handle and to replace the weather strip that was missing from the top of my front door. I returned to my apartment to find a note saying that the door handle was fine and parts were on order for the weather strip - which I never received.3) On December 15, I gave a 30 day notice of move out due to military ETS. On January 1, my account had a balance of the full rent amount. I went to the leasing office to ask if this was made in error, and was told that I only needed to pay for the 15 days until move out. I was told to bring in a money order for the partial amount, which I gave them the same day. I turned in keys and moved out on January 15. On January 28, I received a letter in the mail stating that I owed the rest of the month’s rent along with the balance of my utility bill that I had already paid, and I had 15 days to pay this or they would send it tocollections. I was not given a courtesy call about their error, nor did the manager want to take accountability for their mistake, saying “Well I wasn’t there when it happened”.Overall, I was decently happy with the apartment itself, however dealing with the leasing office in any capacity other than picking up a package was less than desirable.

My spouse and I were stationed overseas and we applied for the apartment sight unseen a few months ago. Needless to say, I was a tad bit nervous. The manager face timed me so I could see my apartment and the amenities. My spouse was not with me when we face timed so the next day she face timed us again. The manager and the other ladies in the office answered all of our questions during the whole process. Everyone was very patient and understanding of our situation. When we arrived to move in everyone in the office appeared genuinely happy to meet us. The maintenance men even welcomed us. The apartment is beautiful and has room for everything we own. Everything about this complex exceeded our expectations and we are very happy.

This is the worst apartment complex that we have EVER lived in. The location is fantastic. Its close to my husbands work. MOST of the maintenance is fantastic also. However, theres one old white guy who is literally the most rude person Ive ever met in my life. He practically acts like youre lying about everything and that youre stupid. They do not believe in safety. You cant display or discharge any WEAPON at all. Therefore, you cant protect yourself in your own home. For example: Someone breaks into your apartment you cant shoot or defend yourself. The apartment complex will sue you. We recently had someone break into our apartment. There have been other break ins in our apartment complex also. There has also been a rape recently. This is NOT a safe apartment. They havent done anything to fix these issues either. They havent updated or put any cameras in. The only good thing I can say is that theyre redoing the apartment grounds (new grass, plants etc.) However, it doesnt help that people let their pets poop on the ground and dont pick it up. There are multiple piles of poop just as you enter our apartment (in the grass). Needless to say we are breaking our lease early. No to mention that since they know that we want to break our lease they are being rude and keep asking when are you going to give me a notice constantly and when we say soon they go well thats not soon enough.

I’ve only lived here a few short months, but the facilities are great, the staff is friendly, and the apartment is nice. Definitely recommend

I have lived here for 2 years and am sad to be moving. The staff is super helpful, the gym has more than just ellipticals and treadmills, the cookies are fresh, the coffee is Starbucks, the pool is perfect, the grills are included, and the monthly catered luncheons are delicious. If I came back to Bragg I would live here again for sure.

So basically I started typing about 5 paragraphs worth of info about my horrible experience with the new management here and when I moved out.However, I made the mistake of going back and forth between my review and the emails I have with this apartment complex. Needless to say the review I was typing, completely went away.Ill just say this.. if you MUST move here, make sure to always have pictures of anything wrong with your unit when you move in. Have the management sign off/acknowledge that those damages are there. Because I guarantee you the move-in list of current damages that they have does not include hardly anything. You more than likely will be charged for any and all previous damages to the unit.Better yet, just move somewhere else, like the apartments across the road. At least their gates consistently work and stay closed throughout the night. Haha. Goodluck!

I moved to the Plantation after looking at other places in the area to live. It has everything you need here, and more. The staff was accommodating to our needs when it came time to look for a place, worked with us when waiting for paper work to clear, and always kept us in the loop with promotions that wound up saving us money in the long run. The amenities are nice, and the maintenance team is always driving around and working hard to make it look nice and up to date.The location is great, with All American Highway half a mile away, Yadkin gate about 10 mins, and Skibo a few miles. Plantation is great, and thorough when it comes to checks and screening for applications. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new apartment!

Apartments are nice. Staff is not helpful at all and we have been constantly disappointed with the customer service. If you have any issues they will try to do anything to not help you. They also did not take our concerns seriously and they do not apologize for mistakes. I would not move here again because of the staff.

We moved in December of 2014 and had nothing but great things to say about this complex, until this past January 2016 new management came in. Ever since, it has been issue after issue. The apt front gate has been broken for months, hit my vehicle as I was driving through it and one month later, is still being held open with a cinder block. To top things off they accused us of driving into it. If you come to view these apartments, I suggest you do a drive by after hours. Youll notice the front gate is open, even tho we lived in a gated community. Take note the trash will be over flowed and the poop all over the grounds. To make matters worse, no matter how many times you complain, office staff and corporate office do nothing. We were so excited when we renewed our lease but now, cant wait to leave! hrpliving. com (Hawthorne Residential Partners) do not even rent from this residential management company. Check their reviews on social media, I am not the only one complaining.

I highly recommend this apartment if you are going to relocate/pcs to Fort Bragg. Its a gated community in a very safe neighborhood. Its only 10-15 min drive to the All American ACP. As they advertise, the Commute Matters!. I lived in this apartment for 2 years and never had any problems with the staff. They are amazing! Very Professional and Friendly! Thanks to the Property Manager Christina ;) the amenities like a gym, a pool, and the common areas always kept clean and nice. I wish I couldve stayed there a little longer but I had to move to another place. Thank you!

Havent moved completely I yet but they have been overwhelmingly accomidating and the apartments and ammenities themselves are beautiful. They are letting me stay in a guest suite until furniture is moved into my apartment so I didnt have to stay in the hotel any longer! Cant tell you what a relief that is after being in a hotel for 3 weeks. I am very relieved to be treated so well after interviewing several apartment complexes in the area and being worried we were just going to be drained of money in any ways possible. Not this place, such a breath of fresh air!

I have lived here for 18 months and love it! ALL STAFF goes above and beyond. They cater food monthly and also have lots of special events for adults and children. All work orders I have put in have been completed within 24 hours. One morning I had a flat tire and Glenn from maintence flagged me down before I continued to drive on it. That morning I didnt have my cell phone and witn 2 small children it could have been a disaster if I had driven any further. Forever grateful for him.This is one example of how this community goes above and beyond for their residents. The office girls always have a smile and are eager to help. They are super military friendly!
