Called to place an order for a Forester engine and was fortunate to run into Ember! Process was quick, easy, and Ive scheduled a pickup at the Portland location with no extra cost. Im so stoked to be able to get my engine swapped on my car, and I cant thank Ember enough for helping me out!! Shes a real life-saver.If youre ever in need of parts, their site is reliable, but calling them will definitely save you some time, stress, and heartache from your wallet! Youll run into some pretty sweet people who know what theyre doing and will make sure youre taken care of.

Brian and Blain are amazing. I have been here a number of times looking for many small,hard to find parts and their knowledge of inventory has been very helpful. I would recommend coming here for anything you might need parts wise and if they dont have it at this location they will definitely do their homework and check their other locations for what you need.

Went to the Eugene location for some little parts and a bigger item, which was a leather/softex seat set. The seats were supposedly grade A, and BR wouldnt let me pull them as they were on a car, which was too new. so when I got there, they were ready for me, but in terrible shape. Fabric was ripped, back liner was caked in grease, plugs had been yanked hard that the wires ripped out. trim tabs were off and whoever pulled them obviously had grease all over their hands, as it was now on the seats! stiff metal brackets were bent; frame caging was torn away from the cushion. needless to say, i declined the purchase. Next up: the pick-n-pull area. I went to retrieve some little parts for my project car in the area, which I could pull from. the cars were quite picked over, good parts had been destroyed and thrown in the chassis. And after I spent an hour or so pulling, and negotiated the price, it was the same or more than I could find online from the comfort of my chair and house - no pickin needed! the counter worker then told me Im more than free to not buy the parts and just go to ebay for what I need. Well I chose that option for 1/2 the stuff I pulled. Anyway, dying business model, which could be so much more. good parts destroyed other parts rotting in the weather. sad to see.

They are very helpful everytime I call. They are a good source for used parts, at a fare price. Ive gotten 2 tires, a steering column,and an A/C compressor for my car. Id recommend them to anyone who is looking for used parts.

It was another search not only rewarded by actually finding exactly what I was looking for but also a few things I hadnt known I would also appreciate, the cherry if you will as I was exiting the huge selection of ever changing options was the parts I needed were of no huge cost so I was given the opportunity to pay with a review instead of cash. Can you dig it? Well I found a lost sketch book too and well try to calculate the value of art... much like spending a whole like in the pursuit of an existentialist philosophical view. The reward was always never the destination but the journey, the kind of reward you can never appreciate until its finally done and then realize some trips should not be rushed.

Always has a good selection of serviceable parts and helpful staff. Quite an experienceb picking your self.

I went to find a Hubcap, which I brought no tools. Carly at the parts desk loaned me a screwdriver, and gave me several locations of trucks to look at! I was lucky and found some in the bed of a truck. Carly and Blane were very helpful and nice.. I will definitely be back, and recommend B & R To my friends and family.

It was a coolant reservoir cap and hose and I have been searching for one since Friday and they helped me out BIG TIME!!! Never thought Id be leaving a review for a junkyard, but my experience was so excellent I thought Id share.I was actually in the Boring OR location, but they tracked down a part for me in the Eugene location. They said it would be ready by 2pm the next day. I was on a road trip 1200 miles from home with car issues and figured that was the best I could do. Well they had my part ready for pickup at 830 am!When I showed up I was surprised to see it was a self service yard as well. I had one of the folks print me some vehicle locations and I set off. Everything in the yard was excellently labeled and I was in and out in no time.Huge shout-out to Blain, Karli, and Brandi!

Great place for used auto parts. You can easily barter the price lower. Bought a engine years ago and had to exchange it because it was obvious that the oil was never changed during its 50,000 mile life.

I miss the good old days when you could call the branch that you were going to and get a straight answer instead of the runaround way to commercialize now. I found the same Factory used part online for half the price free shipping. Got a bunch of running around on the phone get there they tell me that I have it ready tomorrow simple little door latch that they even had one on inventory 2 bolts. Customer service was great at the counter though. Prices are way too high. I think B&R went more in the direction of shipping parts.

Had an issue with color of ordered part but they were quick to make it right.

These guys are the best. Always helpful and you can find those otherwise impossible to replace parts for your vehicle. You can also save a bundle on more significant parts of you dont mind a little risk on used stuff. In many cases the old OEM part will better than the new Chinese stuff on eBay.

I went to find some parts for my pickup. The prices were very fair after I picked some parts. JJ worked with me and was very reasonable. I wasn’t able to find a specific electronic part but found a damaged one and asked if I could have it for free since it was water damaged and broken. He agreed, which was super helpful because I was able to repair my old part from this damaged one. Excellent customer service!!
