I showed up at the very end of the day, with only 10 minutes until they closed and without a reservation and they were still so very kind enough to take me in and give me a great haircut! This was my first time at Sports clips, typically I go to great clips. I can happily say I will no longer be getting my haircut anywhere else but sports clips! I also bought this hair product the hair dresser used on my hair because IT SMELLED FANTASTIC!!! Both the employees there were very sweet and helpful, you guys are the best!

I went here today to use the $10 MVP haircut coupon. I told them right away which coupon I had, and they said okay. When she told me it would cost more because I have longer hair I said that’s okay. I only got a trim of about 2 inches. They didn’t do anything else on the coupon: shampoo, steam towel, or massage, and those are the reasons why I went there and agreed to pay extra. When I was done they charged me $30 for only a trim (spritzed my hair with water and brushed it), and none of the other services. I did tip as well, but I was upset that I wasn’t given any of the services on the coupon I brought that they said they would honor. I wasn’t getting a great feeling there as they seemed short-staffed and not very welcoming, and I had other things to do, so I decided I wouldn’t bother trying to ask again for the rest while I was there, nor did they ask. I will not be coming back, and I hope they don’t do this to others!

A nice setting with clean and modern equipment. They have hair wash in the back. The stylists are nice. Only problem is that theyre too busy. You can wait for so long even if you check in online.

One of the barbers doesn’t know how to give fades and gave me something completely different from the picture I showed her lol. Never coming back to this place. Wasted $22.

I’ve been here twice. The 1st time it was slow picking up the hairstylist didn’t listen and it was uneven on both sides after it looked good. I remember she has orange hair, tall, and older. Being around her felt cold. She did it too quickly, I’d prefer if they didn’t rush each haircut.My 2nd haircut seemed better than the 1st; the stylist listened and this time I didn’t talk. Amanda, didn’t talk either she looked a little shy when I got greeted. She was professional,however it was dead and slow and I got a quicker haircut. I’d prefer if they didn’t rush everything when it’s slow.

I brought my two sons to Sports Clips Skokie. The service was fantastic and the environment in the salon was welcoming. All of the stylists were extremely kind and greeted us the second we walked in. My sons both received new hair styles that they are both happy. I will be returning with my boys soon!

Brought my son in this morning to his haircut. The staff was welcoming & friendly as soon as we walked in. His stylist was Laura & she did a fantastic job. He sometimes gets nervous & wiggles around. Laura was very patient with him. The cut is fantastic!! We will be back to the Skokie location.

Horrible service. I checked in online and I was moved to the bottom of the line. So I waited 30 minutes only to be bumped again. When I complained, both of the cutters gave an attitude. No manager was on duty and excuses were given as to why they wouldnt call one.I wont be coming back, especially if Amanda and Susanna are working thereUpdate: I have been contacted by upper management and I was happy with the way that they handled the situation. I used to enjoy coming here, but I almost always have a negative experience now. There are two reasons for this: first, I need a super-shaver for my haircut and oftentimes the stylists do not have them; second, there are multiple very unpleasant stylists.Although they give decent haircuts, they are standoffish and clearly do not enjoy their jobs. My most recent haircut was very unpleasant because my stylist (Laura) scowled silently during the entire cut, responding to any question or attempt to start conversation with one word answers. She made me feel unwelcome and as if she were doing me a favor by cutting my hair. I would not write this if it had not happened all three times Ive had her cut my hair.I cant say I recommend this location anymore.

I got a haircut from Stacy just a couple of days ago.I explained how I wanted the cut, and I told her specifically to cut the front hair only about 1 millimeter. When she was done with the cut. I saw she cutted a lot. Thats why I said you cut almost one inch. Stacy got angry and treated me so rude. If the owner or manager read my review, please talk to your employees. This is my right to tell,if I dont like their attitude. Thank you

This location had a promotion that when you Like their page on Facebook and show the stylist you will receive a free MVP upgrade. I did that and the stylist was going to honor my MVP until I received a phone call for an emergency at work. I fished my cut which I was happy with and left. The stylist told me that she would add to my notes what happened and that I would receive the upgrade on my next visit. Today I went on my lunch break excited about my MVP upgrade and to my surprise. The stylist had no clue what I was talking about. I will take my Like back from your page and never come back. I normally tip well but I was frustrated and only tipped my Stylist $2.00- What shocked me was that the original stylist who told me would honor the MVP upgrade at the next visit was there and didnt say anything or remember. This to me is bad customer service and Im very disappointed in this location for this.

I think $19 is a little expensive for a simple cut that takes less than 10 mins. Then at the end she didnt even blow it dry on a January day. And what is a consultation as they have on their web site? How do you want your hair cut? The sports themed surrounding look like a 10 year-olds bedroom. They had an NHL game from 12 years ago playing 4 days before the Superbowl?I may go back only because I have a $5 off coupon and there so close to my office.

Is this a strip-club or a hair-style business???! I needed a haircut & drove there after calling to see if I needed an appointment. As I walked in the door, I was never greeted, and saw only one stylist working with over 9 people waiting (all men). When I approached the stylist & asked about a haircut, she was instantly overly-friendly and to the point of obvious pandering to me. When I was told of a 50-60 minute wait time, I declined the haircut and started to leave. The stylist actually walked over and held my arm while batting her eyes and hitting on me. Wow....I knew this company geared its services and products towards men, but really, a stylist is coached to hit on the customers as a come-on for business?! Just a tawdry, cheap way to do business, & thats not for me.
