If I could give zero stars I would. As soon as I got to the counter the First Lady was beyond rude and almost immediately started yelling at me. They asked for a phone number to verify the check which I provided and then instead of calling the number they just assumed it wasn’t the person that wrote the check and while the lady was yelling at me I asked her to please just let me speak so I could explain, she yelled for the next person in line. I never once got angry or even raised my voice. I did ask for a manager, the man that helped was nice, he called the number but no one answered so I apologized and said I’d be back if I could contact her so she’d be expecting their call because it was after business hours for the company that wrote the check. I was polite the entire time. Returned a second time later that day to try again with someone else and got pretty much the exact same treatment. The manager lady was who came up, Got yelled at immediately AGAIN. They refused to even attempt to help and got the check thrown back at me. The First Lady should have lost her job immediately when she started yelling at me for no reason. The manager obviously doesn’t care and has the exact same behavior. The WORST customer service I have EVER experienced. I will not return and will not recommend this place to anyone unless they just get an entirely new staff. I have had multiple people complain about the people working here but I figured I’d give it a shot because everyone gets a different experience. I should have listened to the bad reviews. Extremely disrespectful and rude where it is unwarranted. They have no business working in customer service.

Great place to go and I always do my checks here.And don’t mind these bad comments of course they going to be full sometimes especially on Friday and can take longer than usual. It is a great place to go and I love it.

My wife and I to cash a check here today. Long story after having to return 2 times prior to our first visit we got talked to like trash. The manager even refused to do her job and make a phone call for verification to cash a check. Will never return and will be sure to tell anyone looking for a place to cash a check to try somewhere else. Absolutely do not recommend this place.

I asked how much they would charge to cash a check and they told me they cannot tell me the amount could not even give me a ballpark area of what they would charge per hundred dollars to cash a check.now who would use a company like that?I’m handicap I’m not going up there and wasting my time and then them tell me they’re charging an outrageous amount of money to cash my checkI don’t mind paying a good reasonable amount for service provided but it sounds to me that they’re ashamed to tell me how much they’re charging to cash a check for someoneshame on them!sound like to me they’re people that want to take advantage of people who are in a hard place in their life.

Customer service really needs improvement. I went in for the first time on 5/29/21. I walked in with only 1 customer in the store and no one ever greeted me. I only needed to change a $20 bill to ones. I was transferred from one girl to the next and both seemed put off by me. Not very friendly at all. I was told there would be a fee to break my $20. I asked how much. The employee did not charge me but stated Next time there will be a fee. We charge for this. I most definitely will not be returning.

I come into PLS all the time. Most the time I get okay service, but my recent visit I went in and was greeted right away by a girl I haven’t seen there before I went to her window and had the most amazing service I’ve ever had there. Her name was Melinda. Not only was she sweet and friendly but she was much more professional than the rest of the staff there. She smiled the entire time and made genuine conversation with me. I left a very satisfied customer and will be looking forward to going to her each time I go!! PLS needs more people like Melinda in their business!

I get my check on Thursdays and I get off at 1am Friday morning. I always go straight to PLS to cash it. Miss Olivia is always there with a smile on her face ready to assist me. I know sometimes she is tired just like I am but she never shows it. She is polite and even remembers that I always get a $100 money order and that sometimes I get 1 for $18 and will ask me if I need the one for $18 just incase I forgot. I will never cash a check anywhere else. If I could give 100 stars I would.

I mean they helped out pretty well the store is great to go and get your business handled. But there were two ladies that just were so nonchalant or in no rush to help some people get out of there faster it was a little annoying to be honest. I know for sure it was this Jada girl just rude and always hitting on me/guys, it’s a bad experience. Will update on the other women, but all in all to be honest everyone else are such sweethearts from what iv seen, and most definitely recommend.

Will never cash my check or get a money order from them ever again. First off, they charge too much to cash a check, second the money order is only free if you pay in cash, which I believe is false advertising and they charge more than10x of what other places charge if you get a money order with a card. Never again.

I love going to PLS CHECK CASHING the cashiers there are fun to work with. You can talk to them about anything and theyll hold a conversation with you, their not stuck up people. I called this place of business before coming to cash a check. They told me that they could do it they just had to verify some things first which they could do even if it was after hours. When I got there they were actually not able to cash my check like they had said then management was very rude they all huddled up talking about me right in front of me then she gave me my check.!I went to leave and realize she didn’t give me my ID. I went back in for my ID they claim they didn’t have it guess Ithis trip cost me eleven dollars for a new id woo hoo

I recently had my wallet stolen and lost all forms of identification DL/SSN etc. I currently use them for an Xpectations card and they have a scan of my DL on file they were unable to print the scan, however the woman working snapped a photo for me of my license. This saved me a trip to the SSN and DMV. Enabling me to do an online replacement. I give customer service 5 stars. Thanks guys!

This place is terrible. I went in to send Western Union to a friend and the girl working was on her cell phone the entire time I was there, obviously talking to a friend. After having zero interaction with any employee, I filled out the form and went back to the counter and she did something on the computer, all without saying a word to me. When my friend went to get the $, he couldnt because the stupid girl put TX instead of CO as the state. I had to call Western Union and jump thru hoops o get it fixed. It took hours.I hate PLS Check Cashing.

Try cashing a work check. It was really late and I was out gas And couldnt get home to my family. they turn me away could they said they had to verify with the bank. Which the bank was closed ..of course. thats y I was there.

I was there for twenty minutes trying to cash a personal check. I was forced to make a profile for whatever reason and they took all of my information from my drivers license and a picture of me. Then had to call the person who wrote the check, and on top of that... charged me almost six dollars. They did cash the check though so two stars. I wouldn’t suggest to anyone.
