The apartment complex is great, and the majority of the staff are very welcoming especially Rebecca and Ashley. The events they throw throughout the year are especially fun! There are a couple of issues the complex has ran into within the last year. Most being small issues that have been worked out in a timely manner. One of the big issues is the horrible parking in the garage. Residents are allowed only one car inside the parking garage per apartment. Then you have residents like this that feel the need to be able to take up two parking spaces. Not only that but this resident’s significant other works for the company. Yet this slides on a daily basics. If this issue is fixed I’ll be more than happy to leave a better review.
Fantastic apartments. Nearly brand new (as of 2021), so everything is in great shape. Staff are incredible, and the one time Ive submitted a maintenance request it was promptly answered. Only downside is price (pretty steep), but thats to be expected for this location. Would recommend.
Rebecca was amazing! She found us the perfect apartment and went the extra mile to make us happy! This team is so friendly and I can’t wait to move in!
My daughter got a new job and had to relocate from Charlotte to Durham within a 2 week time period. We scheduled 10 places to see over a weekend. On the Friday we visited two places before coming to Fosters on the Park. We visited three others after visiting Fosters on the Park. The next day, Saturday, we decided not to visit the remaining 4. Late that night we decided that out of all the places we visited, they could not compete with the service, cleanliness, and feeling we got from Fosters on the Park. Upon our arrival to Fosters, we were greeted by Nathaniel. He was warm and made us feel at home and most importantly, safe. We completed the application late Saturday and was approved Sunday before heading back to Charlotte. Nathaniel was extremely accommodating and allowed us to visit on our way out of town to get measurements before heading back to Charlotte. Also, during the week as we were preparing to move, Nathaniel was in constant contact letting us know the status of our move-in date and what we needed to do. The place is clean, neighbors are friendly, and the staff is exceptional, especially Nathaniel. He assured me Mom, your daughter will be in good hands and safe at Foster on the Park. Nathaniel truly loves serving others and he got it that this was a big move for my daughter. Love the service and my daughters new home. Thank you Nathaniel for answering all of our questions and thank you for your patience.
I’ve really enjoyed my first month as a resident! Easy move in and super friendly staff. The pool and gym are never crowded and are always clean. The proximity to restaurants, bars, and breweries is unbeatable.
Super easy move-in. Incredible staff who are friendly and responsive. Convenient and comprehensive amenities including increible gym and pool. Parking is a breeze and location couldnt be better. Thanks for everything so far!
I think it goes without saying that Foster on the Park has the best location in all of Durham. The building is absolutely beautiful and the amenities are A+. That being said, the customer service is really what puts this place above the rest. I want to give shout out specifically to Nathaniel Williams.Mr. Williams went above and beyond in assisting with my little sisters move to the area. He was friendly, patient, and answered all of our questions. We could not be more appreciative. 5 stars all around!
Beautiful property, great location and awesome staff. We moved my daughter there late last year as we were looking for larger living spaces and improved amenities. Foster On the Park delivers on both and so much more! Staff is friendly and very attentive to the needs of the residents.
What overpriced gentrified trash. Who would pay 1800$ a month for a one bedroom apartment in Durham? The place looked completely fake, hastily constructed and shoddy. Save your money and live elsewhere.
Ive lived here for a month and am obsessed with FOTP! I visited 8 buildings all over Durham, and none of them held a candle to Foster. It truly is a community and INCREDIBLE building. The management team of Becca, Ashley, and Nathaniel is amazing. They all actively (and consistently) go out of their way to help make your living experience smooth. It makes a huge difference for me as a resident. I appreciate them so much more than they probably realize. In addition, the building itself is stunning. The finishes are beautiful in my 2bed/2br apartment and am loving the balcony. The ammenity spaces are varied and also gorgeous!Last but not least- the residents in this building are the kindest people. To give an example- I was moving in and SEVERAL people went out of their way to hold doors for me or offered to use another elevator so I could more quickly get up. I am still shocked by how nice everyone is! I highly recommend this building. It is worth every single penny.
The common spaces in the building are beautiful, with lots of lounge areas and outdoor space. They are a nice change of scenery for anyone working remotely. Smaller units feel bigger than they are, since the floor plans are very open with big windows. The building itself is in a perfect location, especially for those with dogs. As an extra perk, there are dog treats in the lobby :)
Great modern apartments - very nice and professional staff. Amenities (gym, pool, club room, rooftop, etc.) very good and location couldnt be better. Has a great home feeling to it with amazing staff and management.
I feel so lucky that I get to live here! My friends and family are always in aw when they come to visit. The whole building is beautifully designed, there’s always free coffee and I really love the sky lounge. Aside from the beautiful building, the location couldn’t be more perfect. Walking distance to several breweries and restaurants, the farmers market is right outside the front door. 10/10 would recommend at least taking a tour and meeting Nathaniel, you’ll want to move in the next day! :’)
I love Foster on the Park! Ive lived here since August 2020 and have no intentions of going anywhere else. The management here is more like family at this point. Becca, Nathaniel and Candice are incredibly personable, caring and devoted to what they do! Chatting with them in the lobby makes my bad days better. They even delivered insomnia cookies to the hospital for me and my coworkers (I am an ICU nurse at Duke)!!! They go above and beyond to make residents happy. The apartments are beautiful, quiet and nicer than most Ive seen in Durham. My parents love visiting from New York and feel secure knowing I live in a place like this.
5 stars! Not only does Fosters have quality/updated amenities (unlike some of the properties we toured) but the staff here is one of a kind. This was the 3rd place I toured with my family and after meeting Nathaniel the decision was pretty clear. I moved in a week later because nothing else could come close to Foster on the Park. Nathaniel has that positive energy that was missing from all the other properties we toured and he was honest with me and my family. Candice was super sweet and was there to answer any follow up questions as well. In my opinion, there’s no other property like Foster on the Park in the Durham area. Overall, my experience here has been nothing but 5 stars and I look forward to starting a new season of my life here. I feel safe here, knowing that if I ever had a concern or an issue, my concerns would actually be addressed and I won’t be left hanging. That’s major when your considering moving to a new apt complex. Thanks guys for all that you do. Keep up the good work!!
I have had a wonderful experience at foster on the park. I had issues with theft living in another apartment complex in downtown durham but since moving here I feel extremely safe. The staff is very sweet and always willing to help with any issues, and maintenance requests are completed with in a day or two. I would definitely recommend.
I toured this place and felt immediately at home. Nathaniel took extra time and care to help me throughout the whole process (I toured and signed for a place within 24 hours!). This was my first time in Durham but with the help of Nathaniel I feel I already have the inside scoop on where to eat/hang and have a friend in the area. If you are considering Durham, PLEASE check this place out. You will not regret it.
My family and I toured the property and its BEAUTIFUL! The units were amazing and the location was smack dab in the middle of downtown Durham with so much to do! The apartments are luxurious with beautiful upgrades and finishes. I LOVE the staff members! Theyre so friendly and caring! Family and I are hoping to move in the end of August/beginning of September and we cant wait!!
Had a tour with a friend who is relocating. We were very impressed with the property and the proximity of downtown. The farmer’s market is a big plus. We worked with Nathaniel and he was a pleasure! He has great customer service and attentively answered all of our questions. It’s a plus as well to see how the staff interacts with tenants. It makes you feel at home.
Ive been looking for an apartment for over a month and Foster On the Park Apartments was the only one that met and even exceeded my expectations of a good apartment complex. The staff (especially Nathaniel) are very friendly and accommodating and are always looking for a way to make your experience more pleasurable. The apartments are spacious and luxurious, and the kitchen is furnished. If you are looking for a safe and beautiful place to live, this is the place for you.
I absolutely love it here! Its such a beautiful building with great amenities. Its perfectly located in Downtown Durham where you can walk to many restaurants. Candice was extremely helpful with all the questions I had and was a joy to work with.
Toured this complex today and can’t wait to move in. The building and amenities are amazing and Nathaniel made the entire experience 5 stars.
So I have been living here at the Foster on the Park for aFew weeks, and The building fire alarm has been going on frequently last night it was at 1:30 and stayed on for 10 minutes very unpleasant and annoying.None of the amenities are complete (pool, gym, and sky deck). They are charging a premium for a lot of negatives. The appliances are very cheap and noisy especially the washer and dryers. The lick n stick floor laminate squeaks in certain places.I would strongly look at other apartments and let this investor work out the bugs and finish the building before deciding on The Foster on the Park.Stay away....
@fosterthepark is an ongoing nuisance. false fire alarms are so loud and blare across the street. not once, but multiple times on a weekly basis at all hours for longer than 10 minutes, such as last night after 1 am. construction noise early in the morning too. a mess.
The people who work here are incredibly kind, but from occasional debris in the hallways to poor communication, the management experience leaves much to be desired.
Absolutely love the location, staff, and amenities!!
