I have had nothing but good experiences here. I moved in March 2021 and all of the staff have been very kind, friendly and helpful. Ive only lived there a few weeks so Ill update upon moving out but so far everything has been great. Theres a small fitness center and lots of play areas for kids. I havent seen a single mouse or bug like some reviews said, but it is a very large complex so maybe other areas have a problem. Im near the back of the complex, sometimes the parking area is a bit noisy but that should be expected with living close together. Maintenance requests are really easy to make online and they take care of them incredibly quick. They have a security patrol company that residents can call anytime, I havent used it but nice to know its there. The management has been very helpful, especially with weather memos since Im not from Colorado so I didnt know what to do during the blizzard we just had. Alfredo and Karina were both very helpful getting me moved in and answering all my questions. Lots of little dogs and kids playing outside during the day. Its a nice, safe, clean place to live. The only warning Ill give is that the complex was built in the early 60s so it has some wear and lots of layers of paint. I love living here, 1 mile to the light rail or bus station so its easy to get around without a car.

Ive been living with Avalon apartments for a year now and this is the worst establishment Ive lived in by far, I have a bathroom sink thats falling out of the wall, outlets in the bathrooms dont work. Closet doors wont shut because there is way too much paint on the doors. Paint chipping from the bathtub easily. Cant go outside because theres wasp nest right outside your doors. Wondering this place is safe for your children? I fall asleep almost every night to gun shots next to my window but dont worry you get use to it... need some supplies as well dont worry Ive also seen crack being sold right out of my next door neighbors apartment everyday. The staff also put out flyers saying rent prices go down the longer you agree to stay there but dont mention the $200/ extra in water, gas, and electricity on that flyer so youre actually paying more. I pay now $1,657 instead of $1,613 because of false advertisement and terrible communication from the staff! If you wanna get ahold of the staff here dont worry, call about 20 times and you might get an answer, but when you do be ready for the rude desk lady that eats while she talks to you on the phone!Terrible establishment horrible rates, lazy staff, and no motivation to care for their tenants wouldnt recommend staying here for any of my family or friends. Im scared I have to stay another 14 months.

I’ve been here for about a year and a half and I can honestly say I’ve always been treated well by the management team in addressing me with respect and professionalism.I also really appreciate how quickly most maintenance issues are taken care of. In fact, thank you Armando for doing a great job so quickly without leaving so much as a trace. That was awesome.So far so good😉

Worst property management ever, they tried changing the move in cost after I signed a lease. I had to argue with them and it was not fixed until I threatened to sue. At the end of my time with them, end of January thru half of February, my entire building lost gas due to being red tagged. They did not allow me to leave and break lease even though it was against the law. It wasnt until I called the health inspector and he showed up at there office when they finally let me leave. Now a year almost 2 later they are trying to charge me with other costs and never gave me my security deposit back. Now they dont respond to any of my email, I may have to take them to court over this whole issue. Stay away from these slum lords, they act like they care until you sign that lease.

Since Ive moved in in August, I have not had any issues with the management team.they are very helpful and care about your needs and also get things fixed in a timely manner. If I need something fixed in my apartment I ask for Mr.Armando he gets it done and the work is great.ms.Emma is kind and caring about your needs and Mr.Alfredo is cool and kind.I have nothing bad too say about the management team or the the Avalon apartments.

Victoria and Alfredo at the leasing office are just delightful to lease from! Their response time is impeccable and have made moving in an easy process. Always at the office greeting you with a smile and willing to lend a helping hand! They are making great progress with these apt buildings and I am excited to see all the renovations and updates they have invested ! I will say, I wish there was an option to recycle here! Maybe that come with With the updates? Definitely recommend!

Super cute, affordable apartments that are walking distance to parks my dogs love, full of friendly neighbors, and the leasing office staff if absolutely the BEST! They are accommodating and helpful, and always call AND email when a package arrives. I have loved living here for the past year and I am excited to renew my lease!

Lived here for a year now and have loved seeing the new things being upgraded around the apartments. Nice to see the money Im paying is being used to make this a better community. I understand that this place wasnt the best of places before but the management here seems very willing to help out with whatever may come about. Just signed a new lease and cant wait to see what new things are coming to make living here that much better.

I have lived here for 3 years, I was here when the old management company did not care about its tenants. Since new management came in they have been nothing short of amazing. They work with you and listen to your living needs and accommodate. I hate to leave this place behind, its quiet and friendly and the staff is always kind.

I love living at the Avalon! From the beginning, the staff was prompt with returning phone calls. They are also courteous, well informed and friendly. The complex is well taken care of and any maintenance needs have been taken care of quickly and effectively. My neighbors are awesome and I plan on staying for quite a while. I highly recommend the Avalon.

I have been living here for over a month now, and I love my little apartment! Sure, its an older building, but the management is working hard to get it upgraded, although i hope the baseboard heaters are kept, its so nice that my floors are always warm! Im glad I found this place.

This rustic apt complex loses electricity and water interchangeably every week.If you look at the 5 star reviews.. all those accounts have ONE REVIEW and they always just talk about the office staff, never about actually living here. Office staff must get bonuses for them. 🤷🏻‍♂️

The application process was fast and easy and I got approved. The customer service agent at that front was a nice and respectful lady. Unfortunately I ended up moving in with my brother instead to save money so I canceled the apartment, but she was very friendly about it and refunded my money. Very friendly place and looks nice too.

I would give six stars if i could. I love the way they are always on top of things in my apartment. Great customer service! I love living here dont plan on leaving any time soon.The office crew is amazing!!

This place rocks! Internet is great (better than a more expensive place I previously rented in the Belmar area) plus better access to things I like to have close by (clean laundromat, good Mexican restaurant, and a great med/rec dispensary). Altogether probably my favorite apartment complex Ive lived in yet.

I lived here for 3 years going on four we got new owners and its definitely different environment and service they started taking care of the roach and mice problem right away if something brakes they send people quicker then be for back then you had to wait weeks even months for service it definitely improved a lot there fixing everything outside and inside and its looking really nice

I have only lived here for a few weeks, but have not had any issues. Management has been reasonably responsive to my requests. The apartment is a bit run down, but looks pretty decent. There is always broken glass in the parking lot and trash all around the dumpsters and walkways.

I currently live here management are nice. Since Ive been living here I havent seen any roaches! And there updated. People are nice and its quiet.

The staff is professional courteous and about there job. The place looks great. Thank you for ALL you do in making the place I live safe clean and well...making it HOME.

Worst place I have ever rented. The apartment are infested with ants and mice. Their are drug dealers living and selling drugs on the property. There were homeless people living on the property. There is a massive crime wave in the area. Several times I would take my dog to walk only to see a chopper flying over me using a spot light. I finally had enough when my girl had to climb over a homeless person to get our mail. I complaint about the ants. They spread and nothing helped. I had to go out and by ant traps to kill them. 3 months later the mice moved in. We moved out after our lease was up and they still charge me $5000 because we didnt give them a 2 month notice. In the 25 years I have been renting I have never had to give notice when I was leaving. The lease is up I am out.

I have lived here for almost a year now. Rent is cheap (for Denver), and the front office has worked with me and been very understanding during the months i have had to make payment plans.

Havnt moved in yet but the fact I could be helped by Victoria and reassured in the same day really does make me feel better about my situation. This will the first time on my own thank you Victoria @Avalon .

I have been living here a whole year and I love it Victoria and Alfredo in the leasing office are so understanding and wonderful nice community quite clean and any complaints get handled immediately even the Maintenance crew wonderful also a great environment for kids especially the summer time I personally recommend this place to almost everyone I know looking to move come look at a unit join the community

I have stayed in these apartments for nearly 2 years. One was location and other was price. But with new management the price is as good as for high end luxurious apartments. I paid for lease break fee and gave them a notice but during verification the manager informed the new place that no notice to vacate was given and I owe money. This was not a good business practice. Moreover they have underwritten my security deposit. Complete unfair practice.

Myron payne i have been living here for the last two months. Everything is fine like my tec workers and the office workers and its a nice place to live. The office crew is very good on helping me out with whatever i need.

WORST PLACE IVE EVER LIVEDThe worst part about this place was that the adults living there were too criminalistic in their nature and raised their children to be the same way. My family and I are good hard valued Christians. We are easy to get a long with everyone! Some of my best friends are crazy people!But this place was too much. They lied to us about everything that we requested be done to our apartment. We moved into what we thought was a bug free and honest place. Wrong yet again. Apparently all the apartments struggle with ROACHES AND BEDBUGS (because I know I didnt have them before I moved in.)Dishonesty is the worst kind of sin you can do to my family. And there was dishonesty in everything we stuck out fingers into. MY MAIL GOT STOLEN, MY STEP DAUGHTERS BIKE GOT STOLEN, AND THE CHILDREN SHE PLAYED WITH CONSTANTLY HIT HER AND PICKED ON HER.I have some friends definitely interested in pursuing lawsuits on my behalf - but Im just glad Im out of that nasty and dishonest place.

This place it horrible! The stove has been broken for 2 YEARS! 2 Years! But the management will not fix it or even get a new one. LAZY MUCH?!?! I stepped on broken glass, that went through my shoe. It was in the lawn where the children play. COCKROACHES and BED BUGS EVERYWHERE DISGUSTING!!! Then theres the management.... They are totally unhelpful, rude, claims to not understand you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~NOT RECOMMENDATION WORTHY!!!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*This place is a danger to your health! Dont move in!*

As of late, management has not been on the property. I’ve been trying to get ahold of them since early December with now answers to my phone calls and their office being. Closed almost all days of the week so we’ve had to go outside of the on sight maintenance cause there is no way to get ahold of them. We’ve had plumbing issues since day one and our issues still haven’t been solved there was also a brake in to our mailboxes that wasn’t notified about until the postal service sent our drivers to post on our doors and emails were sent out. I’ve also been trying to get my car registered to the complex but again since they aren’t in the office and not responding to calls I’ve been unable to. And on top of that today when I tried calling cause the power went out, I was directed to an automated message stating that the number is no longer in service. I’m definitely thinking twice about living here.

Worst nightmare! BEDBUG infestation that has been a literal NIGHTMARE to get rid of! The rent is cheap but dont move here its not worth it! Theres drug dealing right in the back by the benches! The management dont care! Theyll act like they dont have a clue about anything but I guess since you work there and do not live there its not your problem! Like the previous post theres glass all over and if you take a drive through its obvious of the bedbug problem because theres beds and furniture thrown out constantly, I should have taken that as a sign but I needed a cheap place fast! Fast forward I wouldve never ever moved here had I known the repercussions to come! STAY FAR AWAY

Please dont make my mistake and stay away from this place. The apartments are in very poor condition and the management treat the place like a refugee camp instead of like peoples homes.

This place is a blight on what would normally be a pleasant section of the neighborhood. I DO NOT NOR HAVE I EVER LIVED THERE. With that being said, WERE NEIGHBORS. And it seems all the little hoodlems of the neighborhood reside there! The rest of the neighborhood really wishes the management agency would be a bit more discriminating when choosing tenants. The police are constantly there, theyre rude, loud, and violent people there in an unnaturally concentrated amount. Due to geography this small section of the neighborhood is shielded from the rougher parts of the Westside and is actually nice, IF NOT FOR THIS PLACE.

Rent is cheap but only gets CenturyLink internet capped at 20mbps. Everything else is blocked off

Management is great I like ireneShe so nice and pleasant they get things get done manitence there good.to what people dont understand stand is that if you dont tell them something is wrong with you unit they cant fix it or that if you have a problem in general they cant fix it. Anyway this is a great building and a great family environment everybody is so close so people please remember this is a big apartment building if there is a problem theyll fix it just be patient theyll get to you I would recommend to everyone ive lived here along time just theyve always helped me when I needed it.so people be nice to them and theyll treat you well.

These apartments are cheap and wont fix anything.Ive call four times in the last two weeks about my leaky sink and its still leaking. When I called today, she informed me that it has been fixed. I informed her that I wouldnt be calling if it was fixed...........she said she woould send someone out today to fix it but never did. On top of that they operate on any schedule that they want. Laundry room is open until 8pm. I go at 7pm to get my clothes and guess what, its locked. The sign on the door even states the times. It also has a note saying not to bother the workers in their apartments for the use of the laundry room......unmmmmm hello? It should still be open. Im SSSSSSOOOOOOO pissed

They are very expensive and very small There are many pests even fumigating .. a lot of vandalism there but Alfredo from the office helps a lot tnks for everything

I have lived here for 15 years and I live very comfortable. The new company has done an excellent job in the apartments. The green areas have improved. Highly recommended

And they discriminate against the immigrant community so that they do not remove immigrants in the apartments and they are and to lease they are questioning the immigration status and that is illegal the workers of this office are here for a salary but that does not give them the right to abuse their position or go and they enter the apartments like Juan through their house they have to give advance notice to be able to enter
