I lived 1 year at Gables and definitely loved my time there. There is just 1 reason why I give “only” 4 stars, which is my eternal struggle with their elevators. There are simply not enough for the number of residents, and it is common to wait over a minute before getting one. It just becomes worse when one elevator gets reserved for someone moving in/out.This said, gables offers great amenities on its 8th floor. Its glorious rooftop pool and hot tub were the highlight of my stay, something unique about this place. The gym is well equipped and has a fantastic view, even though it is not the most modern around town. The location of Gables was perfect for me, I love how green the area is, and you can really find anything in Cherry Creek or Colorado Boulevard. The concierge is open until 11:00pm, which is a rare service, and the management is very friendly. They have a nice app you can use to request maintenance, which was always quick and effective. I liked being able to park my car at my own floor, even though some might think it is annoying to drive there if you live at a high floor.Overall it was a great stay and I miss that place.

I lived at Gables Cherry Creek for almost 3 years, and only left because I had to move out-of-state. I absolutely loved my experience there, and will always consider the best apartment I have ever (and probably will ever) live at. The 8th floor view and amenities are stunning, and used to always spend time on the rooftop balcony or near the warm comforting fire with a hot drink from the coffee machine. The proximity to the Cherry Creek Mall/Shopping Center is great, and I loved being right outside the hike and bike trail. Its located close enough to downtown if you work there, but away from the hustle and bustle of that area. My only complaint were with the parking garages, where the doors would frequently get jammed and there were a few break-ins while I lived there (but its important to lock you car wherever you live!). How I miss living at this apartment--you should definitely consider Gables Cherry Creek!
I love living here! Also, Brittany is one of the most hard working leasing agents Ive had the pleasure of working with. She is diligent, kind, works hard to make things right, and all around a great person. She definitely makes the experience of living here greater! The whole apartment building is perfect and Im very happy here.
Move here if youre okay with your car windows being broken in their safe garage. Reassuring that the apartment managers only resolution to their car burglary problem is to watch out for your neighbors. The lack of security for the cost of this place is pathetic. They cant keep their residents belongings safe at all. Would not recommend
Well, to be honest I never been to the building. Was looking for an apartment for the coming months, but I am not living in CO, so will not be able to go and tour it. Called and asked for some information, the leasing agent said he was busying getting back to a customer so he would email me information about the apt, thats fine, I even checked to make sure he had my email and other information, the only problem is after almost a week I still didnt receive anything. I guess if I was renting a 2-3 bedrooms instead of only a studio that fits my timeframe things might be very different.
Happy to have finally moved into our beautiful home - this would be our third Gables property and with good reason, you just cannot go wrong with the management quality and apartment complex overall. A big shout out John Hernandez and Joey for helping us get into the right floorplan.3 for 3, Gables is simply unbeatable in terms of an excellent experience overall.
I had been looking for a new place in Denver for over a month and was not willing to settle. Joey showed me the property & I was blown away! I spent the day looking at similar properties in the area - it was without a doubt the best and the move in process was so smooth. I moved in last week and could not be happier with my place, the amenities are amazing & the people working and living here are delightful so far. Thank you Gables for a great place to call home 💫
On the tour, John showed us the entire Gables Residences complex. He was an exceptional tour guide and we felt very welcomed - as if we already lived there.He may have been the best apartment tour guide we have ever met. Weve toured dozens of apartments complexes over the years, so, that should speak volumes to how good John really is!We also met Justin, the concierge, and he was also friendly - though, we didnt spend much time with him.All in all, the tour and the value add of all the amenities, the quality of the apartment, and, most importantly, the friendliness of the staff, made the Gables Residences an easy choice for Melina and I to decide to move here.

Cherry Creek Gables is in a great location, located right in the heart of Cherry Creek. Its close to all major interstate locations as well as excellent, upscale restaurants. There are thankfully no loud trains nearby and the Gables has a no smoking (cigarettes or THC) policy so the only air you breathe is clean air. Finally, the Gables has a phenomenal management staff and maintenance issues are addressed immediately. Quiet, friendly neighbors. If youre loud and/or like to smoke, this definitely is not the place for you. If youre quiet and healthy, you should consider making this your new home.

From the moment I toured Gables, I knew it was home. So far, my experience has been phenomenal and I only expect it to stay that way. I absolutely adore the decor throughout the building plus all of the amenities like the gorgeous rooftop pool. Plus the layout of my apartment fits all of my needs. I recommend this community to anyone, young or old!

I so appreciate the resident social events and sense of community. Also, this is my first experience being in rental community with a truly professional staff & management team, who really are (resident) customer service oriented. We have truly enjoyed living at Gables Cherry Creek. The location is unbeatable, management keeps the property super clean, the community is extremely friendly and welcoming, and maintenance responds quickly to any requests we put in. We also love the stunning amenities - we have the BEST rooftop pool in Denver! The Gables team does a wonderful job of making our community feel like home!
Pool and hot tub roof deck is consistently down for maintenance, including fourth of July weekend. People here pay for the amenities and consistently the management organization does not fulfill their end of the deal. Theyll sell you on the pool even though its consistently unavailable.

Our living experience at Gables Cherry Creek has been really wonderful! The location of the community is really fun as its a short walk to the park and shops in Cherry Creek. The community events have been a joy to host here and its helped us get to know our neighbors. Weve developed some great friendships with other residents here that have really helped us feel more connected and at home in this community. Just recently moved out from this property due to work reason but i love living here, I wish i dint have to move. The apartment is really nice, quite with great amenities, everyone have been so kind and nice throughout my residence, especially the Gables staff, they were friendly, helpful and very profession. I love our new apartment. The location is perfect for us! The very friendly staff worked with us to find the best floor plan for our needs and our furniture fit exactly as I had hoped. I had put in a couple maintenance requests for minor things and two very nice gentleman showed up the next day and took care of everything. I really appreciated the quick response. All of the staff made this transition so easy and enjoyable. The building is beautifully maintained and smells clean (if you have toured a lot of apartments you will understand how the awful smells put you off the whole building) The common areas/amenities and views on the 8th floor are amazing. My dogs are treated to the same friendly welcome and the area around the building is well lit for late night walks. I am extremely happy that we chose Gables Cherry Creek.
Today on my lunch hour I decided to go for a tour at Gables Cherry Creek. I am looking to move around the area, closer to work. When I came in no one greeted me, I had to walk up to the women at the front desk. She was very short and kind of snobby with me. I asked to see a 1 bedroom and she told me they were all booked up until 4 pm she was not customer friendly and seemed to be in a rush. I was surprised to hear she was the LEASING MANAGER out of all people. Youd think for how nice the community looks that there would be customer friendly staff. I even asked if she had a few minutes to AT LEAST show me the amenities, she rudely said, NO and pointed to her note book. Then said, business meeting. I felt judged, rushed, and that she had no care in the world. I even had to ask her if I could go ahead and make an appointment...instead of her asking me, talk about customer service right? Who wants to wake up and leave for work while walking past rude management. NO THANK YOU!

Both my husband and I are loving our new life here in Denver and are absolutely thrilled about living at Gables Cherry Creek. The staff is friendly, professional and very efficient. The community is clean and the amenities are great. Its like living in a resort.
Nice apartments. Modern and the hallways always smell great. Wonderful leasing office staff. They helped me with any and all issues I had quickly. Very caring. The coffee machine which I use very often is DELICIOUS and always stocked. The gym is amazing !!! View of the mountains while you run on treadmills with low impact tread. State of the art. The people who live here are also very nice and responsible. I lost my Ray Bans and my iPad and both were returned immediately. My neighbors even introduced themselves to us. Location is prime if you like to live next to the mall, super markets and a gas station. Shops, The mall, Target and king Soopers are right around the corner. I don’t have anything bad to say. Would recommend to anyone looking for an apartment in cherry Creek.
Ive only been living here for a few months, but its been an amazing experience so far. Lauren initially gave my roommate and I a tour, and we were instantly sold! The apartment and amenities are beautiful. Unlike other apartments Ive lived in, the neighbors here are courteous and respectful. Its a clean, well-designed space with helpful/professional staff.
In 25 years of renting, this is by far the most helpful and professional staff I’ve ever encountered. Erika and Alycia were very helpful and pleasant when we were searching for our new residence and Amy went absolutely above and beyond to accommodate all our needs. Beautiful property and great amenities.
Shasha, our longest-serving Concierge, is a winner! She greets residents with warmth, solves their problems efficiently, and is gracious to guests. She is calm in the face of confusion and multiple demands.She is a positive role model for her co-workers, always demonstrating the values of Gables Cherry Creek.
The property is new so it is very nice, however the staff is by far the worst I have ever worked with. They made it a point to come up with a huge list of miscellaneous charges to make sure they didnt have to pay back the security deposit. My door key didnt work the first 2 weeks I was there and one day wouldnt allow me access to the pool and when I went to the concierge to get another key they didnt want to give me one. I would consider any other option in Denver before I would live at Gables Cherry Creek again.
It is headed back to being the luxury place it was when it opened. They are paying better attention to the overall cleanliness of the building and area. They are having nicer events for the residents and the level of communication is great. It still remains a great place to live.
I was very pleased with the complex until this past week - when my car was stolen from the garage, while I was visiting my daughter - a resident. There is a serious lack of security cameras in the secure garage area, with only one video camera at the entrance and another - bad angle camera - at the exit - which does not show the driver face. When working with my insurance company on the 8th floor computer and amenity level, another tenant, who overheard me on the phone, informed me that she was aware of at least 5 recent cars stolen from the garage. The concierge though helpful - was not aware of any recent incidents. With access to doors and garage limited to electronic key fobs, you have to wonder how many extra fobs might be out there. I implore the management to add more cameras on the various garage levels. I also warn you to be sure to lock your vehicle and do not leave valuables in your car.
If you liver here, get ready to hear no a lot. I own a business and I am all about saying,yes to my clients. There are hidden fees and fines, they towed a resident who pays for parking because her temp license plates expired while she was out of the country. $600 is what it cost the resident. They want to charge me $150 for a $4.key fob. If you want to use a room on the roof top, $400. Make an edit to your lease, $100-200. The trash rooms are dirty/nasty, the entire backside smells like dog pee and there is no onsite recycling. I would not recommend this management company! Read all reviews before you call this home.
I have loved living at Gables Cherry Creek the last month! The facilities are really safe and clean and the staff is so helpful. So thankful to live here with such wonderful residents too!

Living here is a constant nightmare. The staff is undeniably the most unprofessional Ive ever encountered.The amount of theft this garage and building has incurred is unreal. Its sad to live in a place that has to constantly have cops in and out of it due to this.Dont even think about enjoying the rooftop pool and BBQ. KIDS KIDS KIDS KIDS! That is all you will be bombarded with jumping, diving, splashing all while you are adulting. Dont move here if you are looking for peace and quiet. Kids rule here.Thinking about an impromptu BBQ? Dont- the parents with the kids already took over both kitchens and the outdoor BBQ area and dont leave room for people without kids to enjoy any of the amenities. Want to watch movies in the media room??? Ha! If you want to be surrounded by kids running and yelling around you then go for it!Lastly, EVERYTHING in the apartment breaks or is low quality. Dont even think about NOT washing your dishes before you put them in the dishwasher. You may as well do them all by hand. This place is full of big brother types too. Dont ever think about letting your dog off leash. People are always watching. Got a bike? You will pay for storage or risk it being stolen outside. Oh... and you think you can leave it on your deck that you pay for? Think again! Not allowed. They nickle and dime you for everything after the fact.My advise... RUN!!! Check out CODA or The Seasons.... Dont be fooled by the ameninites here.... you will never be able to enjoy them.
Overpriced for what you get. It looks nice but the building is poorly maintained-trash rooms frequently full of garbage because the dumpsters are full, garage trash is often overflowing, cars broken into or stolen from the secure garage, amenities not kept up well, hot tub constantly out of order or just cold.Management is rude, will never admit fault, and does not take corrective action when you bring a problem to their attention.Need to modify anything to your lease? Thats a $200 administration fee, even when adding something to your lease like a parking spot that gives them more money.I lived here for two years. While the property and team was initially great it has gone down hill greatly. Its not the worst place Ive lived but you do NOT get what you pay for.The maintenance team is great though!! Best Ive ever encountered.
We showed up looking for an apartment and the leasing consultant told us to wait a minute. She then proceeded to talk with her coworker and ignored us for over five minutes until we decided to leave and go somewhere else. Thanks for all of your help guys!

Amy is the worst Erica is bad at her job as well! This residence is so poorly manged its no wonder everyone is moving out! The occupancy and retention rate is horrible over priced and poorly managed dont bother trust me the motel around the corner would be better never seen a community that claims to be luxury treat residence so bad and also never do anything to provide a good experience. I hope instead of the constant employee turn over rate they fire amy and her management and just maybe they might repair the community the destroyed!!DO NOT GET FOOLED I SAT WITH 5 RESIDENTS YESTERDAY CONTEMPLATING LAW SUITS THIS PLACE LOOKS GOOD BUT YOU WILL BE TREATED LIKE TRASH AND EVERYTHING THEY PROMISE THEY WILL NOT AND I REPEAT WILL NOT DELIVER EVEN SIGNED DOCUMENTS STATING SO!!!BE WARE!!!

This property is beautiful; it’s very nicely decorated and makes for a great first impression. With that said, I think Gables Cherry Creek is more concerned about initial perception of the property, amenities and such, than about the satisfaction of its residences. I lived at Gables Cherry Creek for a year and I really wish I could say it was a pleasure. While living here, I didn’t use the amenities much, but when I did, there was always something broken. For example, they have a nice conference room on the 8th floor so I decide to invite 2 of my coworkers over one weekend to work. The first and only time that I used the conference room, the air condition in that area did not work. It was really embarrassing. Another time, I invited a few friends to play pool and the pool stick tips were broken. To continue… the infamous coffee machine (that they advertise so much) was out-of-service 75% of the time, no exaggeration. Never any clean towels in the gym, hot tub constantly broken, theater equipment always turned off, no towels/shampoo at the dog spa etc. etc. Granted, these are all minor grips, but these are all things that they advertise as amenities of the property.Building construction is poor. Our air conditioner was broken 2 out of the 12 months that we lived here. Even worst, when we contacted the property manager about it, she casually mentioned that it would be fixed in a couple of weeks. Like it was no big deal. She even went as far as to say that no one else was complaining about it. Both our kitchen and bathroom sink leaked, twice, ruining all of the things we had stored underneath the sinks.There were also a couple of break-ins in the garage. My concern is not the safety of the property, but the fact that management kept such events to themselves. They only recently started sending out emails of vandalism in the garage. My guess is because residences started complaining that they were not being informed.Another significant thing the mention is that Gables will charge you for anything and everything they possibly can. Quick examples: $100 administration fee for having to add an extra car to your lease (plus the extra $125/month, of course). It literally took her 2 minutes to add the car to the lease. After about 2 months of living here, the fridge water filter indicator turned red so I put in a request to maintenance. Maintenance asked if I used the water filter every day, and when I said yes, he said that they would have to charge me to come out and replace it. They also charge to replace light bulbs (not sure if that’s typical) but I think it’s a little absurd considering what residence are paying here. Not to mention what they charge upon move-out. We paid for a professional cleaning company to come and deep clean the apartment and shampoo the carpets and they still kept most of our deposit, with some truly irrational charges/prices.If you decide you want to move here even after reading all the reviews, I strongly recommend against moving to the construction side of the building. They will try to tell you that the windows are double plated and you won’t hear much, but you absolutely will. Contraction noise is nonstop Monday through Saturday.I think the underlying issue with this property is management. This property has huge potential but they have a serious management issue that Gables Corporate refuses to acknowledge. I’ve lived at Hanover and Holland communities before and I know what luxury living is supposed to be like, and this is absolutely not it. I hope this review has helps you make an educated decision.

Lived in a lot of luxury living commutes this is not even close to one! The people and community are great the management is insanely horrible. I started to hear horror stories pretty fast about Amy the Manager and come to find out shes not only the worst manager I have dealt with but in general a mean nasty person. I could go in to details about her lies attitude but I would be writing all day. Shes never available at all only to send rude and combative emails to my girlfriend constantly about literally anything frankly its harrasement. So many better places in this amazing neighborhood for the money then to have to put up with this woman. Its to a point she hates even going home or having to deal with this which she shouldnt have to:(( and it sounds like shes not the only one. Very sad she loves her apt and neighbors:(( Luckily her lease is up and I would never recommend this or Gables again if this is how they run things! 0 STAR!
