I usually don’t leave poor reviews but my nails were done poorly and carelessly. At the time they seemed fine but when I actually left the salon I realized they were uneven, crooked and bumpy/very flawed. I usually come here to get my nails done when I do have them done and I can’t say I want to go back now. They usually do a really good job but my experience this time was the worst I’ve ever had.

This was my first time going and the owner was such a sweetie and the lady who did my nails did great and was also so sweet. I cannot wait to return

Grand Nail Spa is my go to for my nails/pedicures. They are always so accommodating as well as respectful of my time. I have a few favorites however the staff as well as owner all are always willing to help or make an effort to make sure not only myself but everyone is enjoying their time and relaxing. We own a business and I have so much respect for how they run their business. Nothing better then the owner on property and greeting guests. During the mandates with Covid kept up with all restrictions and special cleaning/safety as required.

I went to get my nails done after a long day, and had the best experience. I got there about an hour before close, and they happily took me. I didn’t catch my techs name, but she was so amazing and sweet. She made sure I was happy with my nails, and gave me an easy, relaxing experience. She took her time on my nails even though they were about to close too. The guy at the front desk was also amazing too, asked me if I wanted a drink and everything like that. If you’re looking for a good quality service as well as a welcoming feeling, this is your place!

Absolute worst experience ever! Nails are crooked, she charged me for “length” even though my nails are already long. Also charged me for “shape” when they were already shaped as well. One nail was broke so she had to add a tip to the end and it wasn’t like glued down. So therefore water can get underneath. I told her she just said well that’s how it is. Also one nail isn’t even smooth! The sides you can see my regular nail and not the colored dip. I only went here because by nail broke and my nail lady is out of town, I should have just used someone else at her salon rather than stopping here. Do not use them. Worst experience ever. Waste of money.

Staff is very friendly, the environment comfortable and spa like. Prices in line with everyone else and its clean.But!!! They offer wine and arent stingy. Very attentive. As it happens I have standing appointments.

I love grand nail spa. I go there every time I need a new set or my eyebrows waxed! Jennie and Michael are the best! Talk about a dynamic duo. Michael was very detailed when doing my toes. Made sure I was comfortable and happy with my set. Did it to perfection! Jennie was so gentle and quick! She nailed the shape and length and even help me pick a bomb color that I love. 10/10

This was my first time using this salon and I was a walk in. There were a lot of workers there and I was sat immediately which was nice. However my nail technician was really rude and he didnt really speak to me. He would tap my hand, or gesture to the hand that he wanted, or he would just move my hand himself if I didnt understand what he wanted me to do. I could tell he really didnt want to be there because of his attitude. I told him I wanted my nails short wich he did but he didnt ask me what shape I wanted, and when he did cut them they were really uneven and he didnt fix that at all. The whole time I was there this guy probably said maybe 15 words to me and there was a lot of really uncomfortable silences when my nails were soaking, or we were waiting for something to dry. That was the most uncomfortable and the most uneven manicure Ive had.

Hai V was great with me today! Such a nice person to talk to. Definitely deserves a raise. He made my experience so awesome.

I absolutely love this place! I always have the BEST experience when I come here with my nails and pedicures! I have been going to Judy for almost a year, and she always does and amazing job as well as Helen! Johnny always makes sure I have the best experience. Him and Judy and Helen always make sure I’m happy, and they take their time to get your nails perfect the way you want. I also recommend Linda for a pedicure! Love this place, and will forever be a happy customer!

I LOVE this place! The gentlemen who did my pedicure performed the service about an hour and a half before close, but he did not rush, he was kind, and was great to talk to.I was getting this done before a wedding I was attending and I was practically treated like the bride myself!My nails were cut perfectly, all skin was cleaned up and the polish came out shiny and neat. I recommend this location and will be going again.

Sat in there for close to 40 minutes, employees werent very friendly. Greeting was cold and stiff, sat me down and ignored me. Left without service. Wouldve been fine had they of let me know, but literally no one spoke to me.

Very nice staff but not very organized. I took my son for his first pedicure and we were both going to get a basic manicures afterwards but no one ever came for us or told us to go sit down for our manicure after our pedicure. We just paid for our pedicures and left with that.

I am out of state for a wedding and the whole bridal party went here for nails and pedicures. Ive never had my nails done this well before. They did an amazing job and could get all 7 of us in at the same time! Very good quality and cleanliness. Definitely going to search for one back home. Definitely recommend!

Normally I don’t have any issues with this location. There were two different times I had gone here. I came in to get an eyebrow wax and to fix a nail. The lady that served me was in a rush and ripped very hard when waxing my eyebrows. My eye lids were very irritated after that. She wasn’t friendly at all. She was very aggressive. This time I came in on a Tuesday and it’s not very busy at all. I waited about 35 minutes and the guy told me the lady was almost done with the other customer and pointed her out and as I watched her, it felt as if she was going even slower. I had to leave because I wasn’t going to wait any longer. I booked a flight and a hotel stay before they could get to me. Will not be returning here.

My nails are beautiful! I love my nails...I gave them a 4 star because I also wanted to get my eyebrows done. I went in and before I even let the lady do my eyebrows I showed her a picture so she knew the type of look I was going for. She was so busy fixing her hair and looking in the mirror as if she did not care. When I showed her the picture...she said “okay cool” and did my eyebrows. My eyebrows look NOTHING like the picture and I even had her try to fix them. My eyebrows have not been done in months so they were not hard to arch or anything. Eyebrows are not easy to fix, please when you do somebody’s eyebrows and they are paying you to do them, pay attention and do them the way they want you to do them. Other than that I enjoyed my experience at this salon and that is why I gave them a tip for the overall experience 😊

This is by far the best nail salon in Denton. From the cleanliness, the kind professional staff and not to mention, they are always accommodating to anyone, makes it supreme. I’ve seen the salon be busy and staff always becomes available as soon as possible to take any walk-ins. Johnny usually works the front and he knows his customers so well and is always so kind and welcoming. My pedicures are always *perfect*. When I did dip nail polish for a French manicure they did a good job. They lasted about a week until my thumb nail chipped. But they worked well for the purpose I needed them for. When I went to get them taken off it was terrible. I brought my sister and niece with to get a pedicure while I got them off and had them do a manicure after with regular nail polish. They had me waiting for an extremely long time before anyone came over to help and when she was done I was waiting for them to dry under the light and after waiting 45 mins she still had not checked on me and I had already noticed a gouge on my thumbnail. She didnt do anything normal salons do like a scrub for your hands or even lotion after they were done. I finally just left. The pictures are my nails and my nieces toenails the very next day.

First time doing my nails, as soon as they found out they were very patient with me. The guy who did my nails did it exactly like the photo reference I had showed him and was very kind, the lady who did my pedicure was nice aswell. Thankyou for my cute nails!

I first came to this spa on vacation before I moved here. Once I had moved here, I was worried about not finding a nail salon home and thankfully I had remembered my amazing experience the first time and came back. I got my nails done a week ago by an older gentleman. He did an awesome job! I would love to go back to him next time! But a nail broke today and I went in to get it fixed and a different guy did horrible. We finally found the matching dip color but the buff shows through and he didn’t match the shape of my other nails at all. I went home and reshaped it myself. Not only did he not do a good job job, HE TOOK HIS MASK OFF AND STARTED BLOWING ON MY NAIL TO DRY IT.

I went in to get my nails fixed because I asked for dark pink with white tips well mostly all my nail beds ranged from a very light pink to a medium pink, very uneven also I had pink specks on my white tips so in order to get them fixed I had to wait an hour and why is it that even though I can not understand what language they speak they make it so obvious they are talking about the customer.... the laughs the stares its uncomfortable. If the service wasnt done properly why act like the customer is a nuisance for asking it to get fixed? That was my first and my last time going to this salon. From my home to the salon it was a 30 minute drive then the 1 hour wait plus the time it took for her to fix my nails it was a long time I was there not to mention the only thing that got fixed was the white tips because my nail beds are still different shades of pink ....45 dollars was not worth the time the results or the driveI will not be going back

This place is amazing! The guy that did me did it a little bit different than other salons.So I thought they weren’t going to turn out very good but in the end they look beautiful! Their prices are pretty good as well! I’ve been looking at many salons in Denton to go to and this one’s pretty good. Definitely looking forward to come again. There’s only one thing about it and it was just a little wait like at least 20 minutes but it was all worth it in the end

My Mom and I just went in for dip manicures. Vu & Le were amazing! They are a husband and wife team. They were friendly, gentle & gave excellent customer service. We will definitely go back to see them.

Came to get a pedicure today and had Tom as my tech. Let me tell you about Tom. Tom has magical hands. I don’t know what he was doing during the massage, maybe acupressure, maybe magic, who knows. Regardless, it felt amazing. I have a hard time relaxing during any service, but I was so relaxed I nearly fell asleep. I’ll definitely be back to see Tom!

My pedicure was rushed...the lady cut me 2 times, and then gel polished around the cuts, so it wasnt worth the money for sure. But Danny did a great job with nails, as always. Ill go back for nails, but sadly not for another pedi, sorry folks.

If i could give this place 10 stars i would. I was very impressed. This place is the best nail salon i have ever been in. The place was clean the people were very professional and friendly. Tam did an excellent job on my nails and feet. Johnny and Brian were very helpful on helping me choose the colors i wanted. If it werent 100 miles from my house it would be the place i would go every time I need my nails done. If i am ever back in Denton i will go again.

This place is the best!!! Everyone is so nice and they do quality work. Jimmy always remembers my name and stops to say hi. I never get just normal nails. I have to have ombre and lots of glitter or sparkly. They can always find a way to do what I ask them. I wont go anywhere else.

First time visiting today. Had a good experience. Elizabeth was sweet!! Well I went back for a regular manicure and polish, it was a bust😢 definitely different from my first experience. Had same person she gave me my manicure then began to polish when it started getting busy, she was stopped to go assist another customer who came in. They were clearly short staffed. Johnny took over polishing it was decent enough to last through the night. I woke up the next morning and you would hace thought a 2 year old polish my nails. Polish came off, it was ridiculous. Needless to say I will not revisit .

Great nail salon! My nails have always turned out great, no matter who is doing them. That is hard to find in Denton. Pedicures are great too. Staff is nice and friendly!

I asked for grey and white long ombré nails and they did grey and pink, too short and there are chunks taken out of almost every nail. My cuticles and sliced and and there’s dry glue all over my fingers. Not happy.

I will not go anywhere else in Denton! The staff was so nice. Free beverages and wine. Clean super comfy chairs and tubs. Hot stone massage. It was an exceptional experience. I’m super pregnant and the swelling in my ankles was gone when I left 🙌 treat yourself and stop in!

This place is AMAZING, i wanted rainbow nails (aka a different color on each finger) and Tommy did an amazing job, was very diligent and patient even though it took a long time because it was so many colors.. i’m in love with them!! They have so many options, all the workers are extremely nice and patient, and you leave with amazing nails!!

If I could leave this place less than one star I would. I went in just for a simple pedicure and it was a 35 minute wait which is fine. The fact that I was not even greeted when I came in nor even noticed.

DO NOT GO HERE. Honestly if I could leave a negative star I would. I got a gel manicure after being assured that it would last 2 weeks. Within 2 minutes of leaving the salon I looked down and polish had already started peeling from my finger. Having just spent $50 on them I went back inside and told the manager and he told me they would fix them because “sometimes the machine doesn’t harden them all the way” - something I have never heard or experienced in all of my years of getting my nails done. Three days pass and I notice that another nail has started to peel and the finger next to it has hair trapped under the polish. I was extremely frustrated as I was assured that this would last me at least 2 weeks and I have a full schedule so I don’t have the luxury of popping in the salon whenever. At this point all I want is a refund since this is the 2nd problem I’ve had with them in a few days and I don’t have availability to come back to get them fixed but the manager was very dismissive and refused. I’m very upset that not only have I wasted money but I’ve wasted precious time as well. IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY DON’T BOTHER COMING HERE.

The store was very clean and the man working the front was very friendly! They offered a complimentary drink.It was 35$ for a basic pedicure and 35 for next gen.Giving 3 stars because they really rushed the process and pushed me out immediately after they finished painting my toes, not giving it time to dry even though there were only two other customers in the storeThe women who did my pedicure also cut my cuticles multiple times to the point where the pedicure wasn’t really enjoyable, but hands ended up looking goodThey also got my color confused for my polish so it was slightly off form my hand to toes :/I probably won’t come back to this store, but maybe I just caught it on an off day

My nails turned out amazing! They gave me 10 percent off! And the manager walked around and made sure the nail techs were doing a good job. I am very pleased.

Amy did a phenomenal job. She explained her process as we were going through it and listened to how I like my nails - thin and narrow with a natural shape.

Adjusted a price for me because someone on the phone said it would be $5 cheaper than it was. Everyone was so helpful and kind.

The atmosphere is great and very relaxing. Reason Im not going back: the dip powder manicure is very low quality, doesnt last very long until it starts cracking. And the dip powder color selection is LIMITED.

I visited Grand Nail Spa for the first time last week. I was in need of finding a new place since the place I was going to for the past 10+ years got brand new people that werent friendly. However, the staff at Grand Nail Spa is very friendly! Johnny is hilarious and he greets you as soon as you walk in. Kim did my pedicure and she did such a good job! I love this place and I definitely will be going back.

I went a little less than 2 weeks ago and the lady who did my nails completely ruined the skin around my fingers. She was doing nexgen with tips and she made 5 of my fingers bleed. One of them was bleeding so bad that there was blood all over my knuckle and she had to get something to wipe it off. All she said was sorry and that’s it. One of the other workers came over and looked at my nails as well and they didn’t say anything about it. The least they could’ve done was offer a huge discount or give them to me free considering I walked out of there with bloody fingers. They acted like nothing was wrong. Now I have scabs all over my fingers and they hurt for a week after. Although, clean establishment and the lady who did my toes was incredibly sweet and did good but not the one who did my nails. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Very dissatisfied. Got my nails done by Eric & less than a week later all of them fell off very easily. I had came two days after getting done and got two re done by the same person and those came off as well two days later. HE DID NOT DO A GOOD JOB AT ALL!!

Since I’ve live in Denton they have been my go to. Johnny is very friendly. The staff is amazing and I enjoy myself every time.

This used to be my favorite place. Refered them to everyone...but the customer service has gotten really bad over the past several months. The wait time is ridiculous. Even if you scheduled an appointment. Gave them another chance this past Tuesday...I will not be back again. This makes me very sad.

This place is just like all the others, nothing special. Service is a hit or miss, youll never know if youre going to get your fingers cut or have a good and perfect experience. Prices are the same as all others too.

100/100 customer service and experience!!PLEASE READ:I just moved to Denton and was looking for my new salon. Last week I went across the street to Luxe Nail Salon to get an acrylic full set coffin style with gel and I have never been so unhappy with my nails. Two days later I was missing both middle fingers so I went back in to have them fixed. The manager or owner was extremely rude to me and told me it was my fault the nails came off. They were not broken. They both completely popped off like press on nails out of a box from Target. I got neon yellow French gel tips and it was the messiest French is ever got my boyfriend asked why they looked so bad when I got home. I didn’t have more time to have him redo them all again so I left with ugly nails. When I went back to have the 2 fixed I asked if they could just add another gel coat to make them solid yellow to cover the messy French. I was then told I owed another $25 for a gel color change. I refused to pay more for a job that wasn’t done right to begin with. I left after they fixed the two nails and then THE VERY NEXT DAY the same nail and two more popped off.I came into Grand Nail Spa showed them my week old set with 3 missing and explained how frustrated I was. Johnny, Bryant, Henry, and Bebe all treated me like a queen. I really didn’t have the time or money to get my nails done two weeks in a row since that’s why I always get acrylic and gel so they’ll last me 3 weeks. I told them I wanted a new set and regular polish since I couldn’t afford gel again and then Johnny told me to pick out a gel color because he was going to cover the gel for me so that I could truly love my nails. I’ve never been so grateful for such a generous gesture. Thank god I found my new nail salon!! Thank you Grand Nail Spa for everything😍
