After a horrible experience at another place that does sugaring, I came here. Thank God for L.A. Bikini! They completely redeemed my sugaring experience! This place is clean, they are very timely, and their employees are very professional and knowledgeable about the services. The woman who did my sugaring had something like 10 or more years doing it, and it was evident! The whole thing was comfortable, hygienic, and hardly painful. I highly recommend them! I went in for my first Brazilian sugaring after having tried wax a few times. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff was incredibly kind, professional, and friendly while helping me fill out their questionnaire and confirming my appointment time. The waiting area was very clean. I brought my cardiac alert dog in with me, and the staff was so courteous and understanding! Usually when trying new places, I’ll have to field some access issues - but not here! They were welcoming to both me and my service dog.When it was time for my appointment, Elizabeth came to escort me to a room and was very attentive and friendly. She mentioned giving me some extra time to get my dog situated (he was in a down-stay out of the way for the whole appointment). Little things like that make the experience for me!She made sure I was decent before opening the door to come in, and then began by answering any lingering questions I had about sugaring. We talked about the differences between wax and sugaring, and she walked me through how it would feel before beginning. She was so professional and welcoming - at no point did I ever feel any judgement or anything! She made me feel so comfortable and kept the conversation very light and it really felt like I was catching up with a friend. She made sure I liked the results and offered to tweak the triangle I preferred she leave to straighten it a bit more, then offered me some wipes to get any left over sugar if I felt it while redressing.At the front, they helped sign me up for the membership - which was a fantastic deal! Instead of being around $60, I could pay $70 and have unlimited bikini sugaring for the month plus discounted other services. I’m currently scheduled for my second appointment and can’t wait! Not only did the staff make me feel more welcomed than I have ever felt in a beauty salon, but the sugaring itself was much less painful and I like how I only need to wait two weeks for touch ups.Will absolutely be returning!!

I always have a great, professional experience when visiting LA Bikini. Alanna makes a rather uncomfortable sugaring procedure short, quick, and as painless as possible. All of the girls are super friendly. Lastly, the studio is very clean and they definitely follow Covid-19 protocols.

The lobby was so clean and the staff was so friendly as soon as I walked in. Hannah chatted with me during the service and made me feel comfortable during the more *ouch* parts. Im really pleased! The space was amazingly clean. Honestly, I take this over the hard or strip wax any day. 10/10 staff!

This was my first time at LA Bikini here in Birmingham and it was a wonderful experience. It was quick, semi-painless and the staff was very welcoming. The only drawback was that there was no exam paper laid on the waxing table (similar to the kind you’d see at the doctors office).I will definitely be returning :)

I’ve been waxing my eyebrows for almost a decade so I’m definitely used to it. I have thick eyebrows as well so I’m very picky about where I go. I have never tried sugaring, but I am sold for life! Wayyy less painful than waxing! I have had a different technician everytime I’ve come here and they have all been super sweet and welcoming. Going to start getting the Brazilian sugaring as well

Hannah is always so incredibly nice when they answer the phone or greet me at the door when I come in for my appointment. There is a temperature check at the door-but I dont mind because its for safety precautions. I see Katie, who I love, definitely my favorite! Id absolutely recommend this to any of my friends or family. It is AMAZING every single time I go!

READ MEMBERSHIP CONTRACT BEFORE SIGNING!!!!! I happily signed up for the savvy girl membership on my first visit! I was very happy with the booking process, the service, and I was new to sugaring but my experience was a 10 UNTIL I needed to reschedule or cancel my appointment which was the same day. Ok fine I had to pay a cancellation fee but when I asked how to I cancel my entire policy if I wanted to how would I?? I’m in a 6 month agreement for the savvy girl membership this 6 month agreement does not state the responsible party has to get a doctors note stating the services provided are causing “issues” with the person or the person has to live 30 miles away from the location. Let me remind you this is not in the contract agreement!!!! I’m waiting on the manager Hannah’s response to this contract agreement

First time getting a wax and the experience was something else. Yes it does hurt but the pain doesnt last long, it stings and then within seconds pain is gone. I didnt do research before I went and learned that this place does the sugaring instead the waxing if that makes a difference to anyone. The lady seemed nice that did my Brazilian and talked me through it. I would say Ill visit again but didnt feel comfortable once I was done. Its bad that some people already feel insecure but to over hear people taking about you or others really isnt cool. I would have rather they waited until I was completely gone not just getting dressed to say negative things. I understand that every person is different that walk through the doors but in my case I have hyperpigmentation on my inner thighs and I guess that caused my professional to be a little judgement. Anyway thanks for the experience but I wont be back.

My first visit was a good one. I say this because the young lady that took care of my service was great. She made me comfortable throughout the whole process. She maintain a nice conversation and got me to engage in the conversation with her. She did a great job.

Great staff with lots of experience. Sugar is definitely the less painful way to go over traditional hot wax. Hardly even felt it. Hannah is my go to. My first experience ever getting body hair removed by professionals was a pleasant albeit painful one (I had a lot of hair lol). But the lady who removed the hair was sweet and fun to talk to throughout the experience and she did a thorough job. I’ll definitely come back and i do recommend this to whoever is curious about sugaring.

My daughter was delayed by 7 minutes due to 280 traffic. Front desk associate said that they could not see her that they were booked back to back. She was charged a fee. My daughter has been a good, reliable customer and she tips appropriately as well. I complained to the associate by phone that this was terrible customer service. I asked why she could not have eventually worked her in if she was willing to wait. There was no one in the waiting room at the time. My daughter is 16. I willing to bet if she were 26, 36, etc this would not have happened. Will not be returning!!! CUSTOMER UNFRIENDLY

I had never had any type of hair removal on my legs other than shaving, so I wasnt sure what to expect. Elizabeth was the best! At my first visit, she wasnt sure that I had enough growth, so she offered a test strip and then allowed me to reschedule for a week later so the service would be more effective. Pain was almost nonexistent- no worse than removing a band aid. I had my legs sugared before my wedding, and couldnt have been happier with the results.

Making the appointment was easy and quick. Employees were professional. I was a first timer so I was very satisfied with the overall experience. Results were great, too. I plan on going back.

1. The staff is incredibly rude. 2. The location is not the cleanest, there is dirt on the floor and molding in areas coming apart. 3. There is no privacy as your services are performed behind a sheet. 4. I was signed up for a membership without it being explained to me that the membership would cost $70 a month. I have now spent over $300 for 1 procedure. I tried to correct with the staff and I was met with a rude and condescending “manager”. I asked why I would sign up for a membership that I didnt use and then she insisted she didn’t know why people did stupid things. With 2 new actual spas opening up I would definitely recommend giving them a try and skipping this business.
