The place was super clean and friendly. I walked in 30 minutes before close and asked for the organic pedicure which took about 50 minutes total. Even though it was past closing time, the woman still did an amazing job and did not slack. She even gave me a neck massage. 10/10 would recommend.

I get powder dip nails here and they’re always perfect! I love getting fun designs and Winnie always executes my ideas perfectly!!! Pink also did an baby pink almond set on me that i loved! Everyone is so nice too, 10/10 recommend!!!

Super cute! was a little messed up but not too noticeable. very nice but my friends nails was a little overpriced. (i paid for her so that’s why i’m talking about this) all she got was dip and tips and it cost her 63$! at other salons it’ll usually cost 45. mine cost 63 aswell. no the people there were super nice though!

I give it a three, because they are pretty good, but they do like to charge you more, so watch out for that.

I asked for the bottom picture and when they tried to do it they looked awful. When i asked the lady to remove she got upset and said thats what you asked for. Then when she started to use her drill to take it off she started going fast and cutting me. They are uneven and look awful. I could get better press on nails from walmart better than this.

Only giving a 3 because the nail tech Pink was nice and did a good job with my nails but the lady who did my pedicure cut my toes several times.

Winnie did my pedicure and gel polish perfectly! I wanted black toes to match my nails and she did a great job! If you ever go here ask for pink for dip nails and Winnie for a pedicure.

I had a great experience loved it had gotten a beautiful set on the 3rd & have had 4 nails break since then it is the 11th. i payed more than i should’ve for them and i go in thinking it’d be free to get them fixed & the owner tries to charge me and say i didn’t get them done here. very dissatisfied & will not be giving them anymore money!

These are my nails a few hrs after getting the nexgen dip done. They cracked and the top coat started falling off. The place was clean but they did not use face shield or the glass covers.

If I could give this place a zero I would. Completely disgusting and terrible service. Beware if you decide to get your nails done here they cut up every single one of my fingers and the people working there all took their masks off. To top things off my nails came out terrible so I asked for them to take them off and for my money back and they agreed. Once they took my nails off they came up with a policy out of thin air that they don’t offer refunds only gift cards. Why would anyone want a gift card to return to such a terrible place? Stay away from here!

It was nice enough. Not exactly overly friendly, but I was there with my mother-in-law and we were there to have a pedicure. Not make friends. Pedicure was ok.

Came in to get one chipped nail fixed that i got done here last week. the lady cut my nail off and put the new nail on them told me that they didn’t have the same color as last week. the manager came to me and said that the only thing i could do was get a completely different color one ONE nail or pay 30 to get a different color so all nails match! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL & rude. he just walked away and shrugged his shoulders at the situation. wonder what wouldve happened if i would’ve reacted like the mad black woman i was at the time? won’t be coming back 🙄

First and last time coming here. The lady I had basically rushed through the whole pedi, didn’t even ask if I liked my nails. I had to come get them fixed at another location, the polish was so uneven and when she “fixed” them she basically just put the polish on the missing spots. Didn’t bother to clean the polish around . She kept using her nails which left a cut on my big toe . Worse place in Denton. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I wanted to treat my mom and i on getting our feet done today. this place was the best place we have been so far. the staff was very professional, very clean. I definitely recommend Winnie. she is awesome. also the other staff there as well. my mom and i will definitely come back to this place. :)

Went in for acrylics with a friend of mine. They told us that they did not want to use nail polish because it would chip off within the first two days. I’ve never had problems with polish before but he was very persistent on giving us an upgrade with the promise of a discount.I waited probably about an hour which was fine. We had complimentary alcoholic drinks. But when it was finally my turn, my technician told me I couldn’t have shorter nails (which is almost a must for me since I work with food) because it would mess up the shape of my nails. (Again I’ve never had problems before with other shops doing shorter almond shaped nails for me) I tried to get her to cut off as much as possible and she wouldn’t budge. A lot of the time, she would do work on my nails while looking back at something and as a result, she tore the skin on one of my fingers. Some nails are so off center and others are more narrow.We had expected to pay $70 for the both of us but the price had jumped to $90 by the end (even with the discount) and he never mentioned how much it would be. Even when we had asked how much of a price difference it would be, he would just tell us he’d give us a $5 discount.I’m very non confrontational so we didn’t make any complaints. I’d probably go back tbh. Just bc a lot of my buddies go here. Maybe I’ll just be a little more vocal and stern about what I want and to fix mistakes I see. I don’t think I should have to tell a technician most of my nails are crooked though :/

This has been my nail salon for years! Winnie does my nails and Suan does my toes! My nails never chip or peel. I get nexgen. They always take wonderful care of me. I have used everyone in the salon and they are all great. They can get busy so I recommend making an appointment. I see a lot of reviews in regard to their price, their price is listed when you check in. Nothing secret about it. Also I would pay higher prices for their great quality. Rhinestones chip off as you use your hands and I don’t blame them for charging for a fix. It’s like wrecking your car and wanting a refund. Lol! I’ve been going here for several years and I have never had a problem with doing anything that I ask. I prefer both my nails and toes super short and they accommodate me every time without question. They are the best!

I was getting my nails done and showing them what I wanted . Idk her name but she was doing my nails and I told her I didn’t like them because my nails didn’t look like the picture. She called me a liar and started yelling . I yelled right back. Anyway go somewhere that knows how to do nails .

My manicure turned out good looking, but the old man who did it cut and burned me many times with the drill and laughed! The guy at the front is rude and dry, almost robotic. I also set an appointment and didn’t her the woman I wanted to do my nails, which was Kelly! No excuse because the place was dead at 2PM on a Saturday... Yikes. I certainly didn’t feel catered to... was not offered a drink either! Never going here again. It’s a little over-priced also, got nexgen full set with tips for $50 — they do not offer student discounts in a college town (odd). Don’t waste your time or money on bad customer service like this.

Okay I know what youre thinking, a dude cant honestly rate this place as well as a woman. True I dont get manicures, but every time Ive gone in with my girlfriend the staff is amazing. Some people complain that the staff rushes them but as long as you treat them like people and with kindness they will go above and beyond. Complimentary drinks makes for great environment. Ive been here several times, as Ive only been in Denton since August 2020, they are literally 4 min from my home. There is always a wait even with an appointment, they will sometimes rush through your nails leaving them crooked, or misshapen. I fought hard not to change nail salons as this one is so convenient, however, after long waits, rushed jobs where the nails would come off days later or chip, I have decided to go elsewhere. They need more staff as often times, they will have 2 people working on one person, however, they have chairs open but not enough people...I wont be returning

Thus was my first visit to this salon. The staff was very attentive, warm, and welcoming!! I showed up an hour earlier than scheduled and they got me in promptly. The staff was very helpful with finding me my desired color and style and even gave me an unexpected discount at the end of my visit! Will definitely be back again and would definitely recommend for all the Denton locals. The prices were very reasonable and you definitely get the bang for your buck! The lounge area is very clean and open, and the music is modern and enjoyable!!

Today was my second time going to the Luxury Nail Bar and I absolutely love it. Great hospitality. Lovely people! Very welcoming and talented when it comes to their artwork on nails! I totally have recommended this place to others and will continue going there myself.

Love this place!! I have been getting my nails done here for a while. Last week i got my nails done for Christmas. I had a nail that chipped so I went in today to get it fixed. We were unable to find the exact red sparkly color I used so Winnie mixed 2 colors together and gave me an even more beautiful color than I had before. I tried to pay but was told they fix broken nails for free. Winnie is absolutely the best and such a sweetheart. If you have never been to Luxury Nail Bar, please try it out. You will not be disappointed.

Sloppy work and over priced. They messed up my nails and were very reluctant to fix it, they also rushed through fixing my nails so the end result was just as bad as it initially was. Very overpriced,I got short black coffin style acrylic nails with one small design on my ring finger and it came out to about 60$. I pay 45 for this at my other shop, Hawaiian Nail Bar in Addison. My nail tech was very rough with me and I had to tell her more than 5 times that she was hurting me. Each time I told her she was being too rough she would just laugh and go back to doing what she was doing. Only giving one star because the inside was nice.

Its kinda expensive but they give you coupons sometimes so thats nice.. They dipped my nail in the gel powder ...I have herd they are not suppose to dip your nail in the powder itself as its unsanitary but idk if this is true very nice people tho

This place is great. I get my nails done by Jessie, and she does a wonderful job... but recently she changed my life with Microblading! I used to have to fill my spars brows in every day. Jessie was thoughtful in how she shaped my brows and also in how she picked the color. I LOVE them. If youve been thinking about Microblading... you wont be sorry.

I have been going to this salon since the early 90s. It previously was Fancy Nail. The original owners of Fancy Nail moved the salon down a few suites and changed the name to Luxury Nail Bar. Then, recently sold. I do not get my nails done regularly. Merely for special occasions and in the summer I will maintain a pedicure. Today is my daughters 12th birthday, thus, we treated ourselves to mani and pedis. Angel was AWFUL! She was the employee assigned to my daugthers manicure. My daughter wanted white back ground with rose gold sparkles. First, Angel was insistent on not having rose gold. Fine, but help her find an alternative. She was more insistent on what could not be done than what could. Then, she started to fit my daughter for tips. She told Angel that she didnt want tips, just dip. Angel told her her nails would not look good because they were not long enough and she needed tips. I backed my daughter up stating that we did not want tips. My MIL gets ombre and has very similar length nails as does my daughters friend. So, we show pictures. Angel tells us (at least 3 times) that if it looks bad and we dont like it, then she cant fix it. Apparently, the sparkles my daughter chose were too large. Ok, no problem, may we choose smaller sparkles? Her demeanor was condescending and negative. At this point my daughter was in tears. This fun, mother/daughter outing to celebrate a special time was definitely dampened by Angels attitude. As if all of this wasnt enough, when I went to pay, the coupon discounts were not applied as advertised (states $5 off for Nexgen...only $4 was applied..same for the pedicures). Also, they charged $40 for the Nexgen, then an additional $14 for 2 colors. Hmm...isnt one of the 2 colors included in the $40? Or is it truly an extra $14 for sparkles? SO DISAPPOINTED IN THIS EXPERIENCE.

Jenny did an amazing job! When I got there they weren’t really busy so she took time on my SNS dip full set. My nails look fantastic and everyone was really nice. Plus a complimentary drink is a nice addition!

Where do i start? I came to get my nails done here with a friend. I had never gotten my nails done before and i thought it would be nice to for winter formal coming up. The morning after my appointment i woke up and my ring finger on my left hand was swollen red and had a yellowish green pustule popping out of the side of my nail. Of course i went to a doctor and got it checked out. His diagnosis was something called paronichia (i don’t recommend looking up if you’re squeamish). He said it most likely came from the nail salon. I strolled up to the nail place and explained what had happened. I was very cordial in my request to be refunded and to have the nails taken off. All of the sudden, everyone is jumping down my back telling me that there was nothing wrong with my nail. I told them what the doctor said and they still refused to accept the fact that i had an infection. They refused the refund. I feel like after paying nearly 50 dollars to get your fingers dipped in powder, i should at least get half the money back after contracting an infection. Don’t go here. They won’t take care of you if something happens and they sure as hell don’t clean their tools.

The location & hours are convenient, and the decor is nice, but I did not like the service. I went in to get a gel manicure but felt rushed the entire time. I dont remember the name of the woman that helped me, but she didnt seem to want to be there. Some nails came out shiny, but most came out matte and dull. Ive never had that happen with gel before. She reapplied a few times to try to fix it, but it didnt work. I ended up having to put on a clear top coat at home to make my nails look somewhat ok.

Anna did a fantastic job on my nails!! I havent gotten my finger nails done in so long but Ill definitely be coming back and requesting her. I came like 30 min before they closed (I know, shame on me) but Anna didnt make me feel rushed at all. She took her time and did quality work as they were closing the till and turning the TVs off lol. I felt bad but to her it was no big deal. Tipped her 20%. Anna has purple glasses and she wears a Pandora bracelet on her left hand. Shes amazing! Ask for her!!

This was my very first time at Luxury Nail Bar and upon walking in, i was greeted by the friendly receptionist (I’m sorry but I forgot her name!) and she was so kind and sweet! Very helpful!Leann was the woman to do my pedicure and she was also very lovely and talkative. She made me feel very comfortable and did a great job at my deluxe pedicure.Now the woman who did my NextGen nails (Judie) was the POLAR opposite of Leann and the receptionist. She acted like she HATED her job and like i was an inconvenience to her. I came in with acrylic nails on, wanting to get them soaked off so that i could get a set of NextGen nails. She tried popping off my nails with another nail tip SEVERAL times after I told her that I would like them soaked off. She finally takes out a tiny bowl that I could only fit one hand in to soak off the acrylic nail. Then she goes to the back and comes out with a bigger bowl with a plastic bag with warm towels so i can soak my nails. She then takes the acetone that was in the tiny bowl and POURS IT BACK INTO THE BOTTLE! I’m sorry, but that is completely unsanitary and gross.She kept mumbling that taking off acrylics took so long and kept telling the receptionist to charge me for taking off the acrylic nails (which i obviously knew i would have to pay for).Judie made me feel uncomfortable and she is the sole reason i will not give Luxury Nail Bar my COIN anymore. I work hard for my money and would prefer to spend it at a place that has friendlier, hard-working employees.

If I could rate zero I would. I just left and I got a pedicure with gel and a dip manicure. My feet were done by a lady but I forgot her name. They look nice and I The nail tech Jessie was so rude. Anytime I asked for her to fix a mistake she would complain and talk about me to her coworkers. My nails are lumpy and they look weird. When I told her about them she said “thats how your fingers are”... I wasntborn with lumpy fingers. She then charged me for tips, dip, shape, and length. Mind you my nails are extremely short as I’m a CNA. I don’t know how everyone else is but I would not recommend going to Jessie. Ruined my mood.

Although I normally rave about LNB today was not a good visit. I got a Nexgen (dip powder nails) Manicure, and theyre porous and rigid. I got the coolest tech absolutely loved him but Im not sure if Ill return for another manicure. They offered to fix them for free, but Im short on time so couldnt stay while the tech became available again. I should have just stick to my original plan of getting gel nails by my favorite pedicure tech!

My nails were bumpy and not a good shape. The lady that did my mom’s nails, got up so she could call someone, LAUGH, while she did my mom’s nails. Not so nice. The person that did my nails was nice, but was probably rushing on my nails. The experience was worse than it sounds!

I went in a month ago and got a complete rush job on my pedicure. When I got home I noticed that it looked like a 10 year old polished my toes. I returned the next day to have it corrected. They sat me in the chair and removed polish on the big toe only to redo it. I told them to remove them all and repolish it. The lady got up to find the original person to redo it. She was in the back and wouldn’t come out. The wonder had to get loud with her in front of customers for her to come out and fix it. She came out and removed the remaining polish then asked me if I could come back the next day. I said absolutely not because she should have done it right yesterday. She said she had a wedding to go to and got up. After about 15 minutes and the front desk apologizing someone came to fix them. I left. I decided against my first mind to go back today. I called and asked for someone I knew, Mimi. She said she was there and available now. I said I would be there in 10 min, at 3pm. I got there and the front desk said Mimi has a 3pm appointment. I’m like yes, that’s me. She said I’m sorry she has an appointment prior. The person you talked to didn’t realize that. I politely told them that their communication is horrible and it seems as if they are not customer friendly. She didn’t offer anyone else, simply said I understand and stared at me. That was the last straw for me. This was the old Fancy Nails and just because they’ve updated the space, they forgot to update the professionalism and customer service. I see why their overall reviews are 3 star. It should be lesss than that.

Nice ambience. Nice staff for the most part. Complimentary drinks always a plus. My nails, however, not too satisfied with long term results. 1- no base coat 2- not a fan of cheap dollar store brand polish which chips within a day or- especially when its the same price as a better brand... 3- my pedicure was rushed and 4- i typically get a fill every 12-15 days...by the 10th day they looked HORRIBLE. Upon returning to Denton Im not sure Ill be a returning customer
