The Mira Magic is for me. When you walk through the door you feel like you are important. I left with a fantastic hair style experience (this is more than just a haircut). The magic is that I left with a spring in my step and that all over feel good feeling.

Usually go to the chain hair places for a haircut. Thought I would give Mira Salon a try. Wow, what a difference. I asked for suggestions on possible change of style and the expertise related to my hair along with my head and face shape were amazing. Sure it cost a little more but certainly worth an exceptional service. Finding the beard mousse was also a great bonus. This place isnt just for the ladies.

Came for a brazilian sugaring appointment. Amanda is a kind and caring person she puts you at ease and is professional. Thankfully she is comfortable with taking male clients for Brazilian. This was my 1st sugaring experience - waxed in the past. I like the thoroughness of sugaring hair removal. I am thinking I may never go back to waxing. May consider getting haircuts here as well.

I have always been welcomed immediately upon check in and made to feel comfortable. All services have been of high quality from pedicures to massages. Amanda offers amazing sugaring services. I highly recommend her salon. She is someone who cares about YOU.

To be honest, Amanda does an amazing job! Every single time I leave her salon... I feel amazing with the end result of my hair. My hair is long, coarse and have a lot of it, she always knows what to do and how to cut it.

A resort experience here in DeKalb. I got the 60 minute body scrub and wrap. Results smooth skin and a refreshed soul. Men need to have a resort experience too. The music playing in the background made it feel like I was at a resort with a grass roof and the ocean in the distance. I highly recommend the Mira experience. BTW the temperature was single digits outside and I thought for certain I would be shivering getting a body scrub - nope.

Its an interesting experience when someone raises the bar on what youve come expect. I thought Ive had good massages in the past but the level of professionalism in terms of gauging the pain, understanding of muscles, and the perfect communication I received with Amanda at Mira Salon and Spa went far beyond what other therapists have provided me in the past. Will be back without a doubt!

I just love the positive energy at this place. All the girls are supper nice! They know their stuff! Came here to do my friends hair for her wedding! Nothing like team work! I love how they give each other suggestions when working on hair! Definitely a place to check out if ya want your hair to be n flick!

Men stop shaving and waxing come here for your hair removal needs. A brazilian for a man, unfortunately, is like trying to find a Chick-fil-A open on Sunday. Here you will find someone who is completely at ease and puts you at ease while she is professional as well. I shaved the nether regions for years then tried waxing which was better but after my 2nd time sugaring here I will never wax again. Sugaring = thorough hair removal with less pain and less hair growth. The room is private, clean and comfortable for your hair removal needs.

Unfortunately not happy with color/highlight. Highlights were blotchy and in strange places. Everyone that seen it said it looked bad!! Over priced for a horrible job!!

New procedure for stage 3 in place, pleasant and seamless.Area is clean and neat, operators and assistants pleasant and upbeat. Professional services are a pleasure.

My visit to the spa today this being my first time I was very impressed. It was a warm atmosphere everyone there was welcoming and gracious. The service I was provided with was performed in a professional manner. The young lady who took care of me was warm, polite and very attentive to my needs. I look forward to returning and avail myself to more of their services.

I have been going to Amandas spa for the past two years. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Kelly always does a great job with my hair. She takes the time to listen to what I would like to have done and does a great job executing the look. She always makes sure I am satisfied with the end result. I would definitely recommend Amandas Spa!!!!

I would not recommend this salon. Save your money. Overpriced and did not get what I requested. Stylist seemed rushed. Website is ridiculous. I will not go back.

I received a gift card for a manicure, pedicure and facial. I was very disappointed with the appearance of the pedicure station as there was dust and strands of dark colored hair on the sides of the foot tub. My pedicurist had very long fake nails which made it difficult for her to actually give me a pedi.I also got a no chip manicure. Same girl did it and she did not clip cuticles, or massage hands. The gel bubbled and peeled off 2 days later. The facial part was nice. However the neck massage was very uncomfortable due to the girl having fake long nails. She kept scratching my back. I will not be going back. Very disappointing.

I love this spa. Amanda is very knowledgeable and has done a good job recruiting and teaching additional stylists. I am always happy with the hair cut service (and I love the LOVE shampoo and conditioner series they are using now - Ive used it before, and it makes my hair so soft). Ive sometimes gotten mani/pedi service and those always look great. But my favorite has to be coming in for a regular massage. I always feel cared for and less tense when I leave. Definitely a hometown gem.

The atmosphere is relaxing and has a hometown feeling as evidenced by the conversations and laughter. The products used are top notch as well. The business is a DeKalb gem!

I recently got a haircut and I did NOT get what I wanted. My hair is shorter than I asked, I explicitly said I need to be able to put it in a pony tail, but I can’t. On top of that the layers are uneven and choppy. I cannot wait until it’s grown out just an inch so I can get it fixed. I would have rather paid $60 to not get a haircut than to have gotten this one.

I was just there on 4/27/2011. I got my eyebrows done. Amanda was the girl helping me out and she was pregnant too. She did a great job and was very talkative and relatable to work with. I will definitely be going back there. The hard wax they use is so much better than strip wax Ive used at other eyebrow waxing salons. Also, the receptionist was very kind and talkative as well. I will be going there every time as long as I am in DeKalb. Prices are good and exceptional for the amount of work and they are painless compared to other places I have been! I highly recommend this to everyone in the Area.
