Horrible experience! I would never go again! Bad communication! They did a horrible job on my nails. My chrome was peeling off the same day I got my nails done and when I went back to have them redone they peeled off again. I dont think they know what they are doing or they dont care! And she lied about the pricing and overcharged me!!!Bad business! I suggest going out of town to get your nails done definetly dont go here!!

I was looking for a new place to go since I wasnt happy with my previous place, it was suggested by a friend to come here. Im not understanding ANY of these negative posts. This is by far the best experience Ive had in Dekalb County. They have so many design options, colors, and CHROME! Beautiful salon, clean, friendly staff and reasonably priced. My nail tech cleaned up the mess the previous place left, took his time, and did a phenomenal job! This will be the only place I come to from now on. Thank you, I LOVE my finger and toe nails!♡

It was really nice inside the salon. The waxing room was private and the service was great. This was the first time in a long time I left satisfied from a waxing. The lady is super nice. The only downside was I made an appointment, showed up on time, and didnt get seen until 10 minutes after. Overall it was a good experience and Im coming back.

I was a little worried about the negative reviews, but I came anyway to get a pedicure. I had a great experience. The salon was clean and nicely decorated. The chairs were very comfortable and modern. The staff was very friendly and explained about their services and offered me a drink. I had a nice relaxing pedicure with Chelsea. She was great. We had a fun conversation and she was very professional.I got a premium pedicure for $45 that I know other salons charge $60 for. My feet feel amazing. I will definitely be back.

Horrible experience ! First time I went she advised I give her a tip which was weird to me I give a tip on my own!!! Secondly, when waxing eyebrows she burns your skin. Recently, she went up on prices and didn’t say anything until after she did service

Lady who did my eyebrows was very rude. She was on her phone the whole time she was doing them, didn’t ask how I was doing, no conversation whatsoever. She also was very aggressive with the tools and myself, she was moving my head around not being gentle at all.

Not from the area and needed my nails done. What a mistake. and horrible looking acrylic nails. The only English they understand was “mo money” I kept getting asked to get no chip! It’s looks better it last longer. I said, no! So annoying!

I really love going here. They do a really nice job on my nails. Very friendly. Call in advance for an appointment. Sometimes it gets busy and they dont have enough people for the foot traffic. Typically 3 people work there. But they are incredibly knowledgeable, clean and fairly priced.

I would give 0 stars if I could!! I’ve been coming here for 2 1/2 yrs & the service has gotten absolutely awful since Kayla left!! Customer Service is a zero & so is the Perfection of the nail care!! I recommended all my friends here but you better believe I’ve told everyone not to ever go here again!! Everything is a rush job nails & pedicure & God forbid you have an appointment it’s still close to an hr wait with no discount or apology😡

After a week of having my acrylic set, every nail but one chipped all the way down to my real nail. Just by either tapping my nails, or putting the least amount of presser on them. Horrible experience

My nails came out perfect!! I’ve never been happier. They took their time and made sure my nails were perfect. Staff is fun and wonderful. I’m recommending it to all my NIU friends!

I went to get a no chip full set. It was my first time here and I am 100% satisfied with my nails!! They are sooo cute and polished very nicely. Salon is upscale and clean. I love the chandelier on the ceiling.. I will be back.

I came in two weeks ago and got a no chip manicure and a regular polish pedi, neither has chipped at all. They still look like I just got them done. 😀❤️ Very pleased. I’m very happy with the new owners here. Will be back!

I had the Aloe Jelly Pedicure. As always, it is amazing! With someone who is diabetic and have problem feet, this pedi is the best yet! Customer service is top notch! I have been coming here for just over a year, and will not go anywhere else!

They have this wonderful 10% off for any combo services with pumpkin pedicure for their Halloween special and it was just perfect! Leaving me with a wonderful full set nails and softer skin! Best place to be, extremely friendly stuff!

I brought my girlfriend there to get pampered and I sat down so did she they told her she has to wait 5 minutes. So we sit down 10 minutes roll by I ask how much longer they said they are almost done so I said okay I wait another 10 minutes and they are not done they kept saying just sorry 5 more minutes 5 more minutes. ok so I give them one more chance and wait 5 more minutes literally another 10 minutes goes by and I say Im about to leave I could you not when I say the owner and the girl just shrug their shoulders at me and didnt pay any attention after that they just started looking at their customer and looking down and doing their nails again without paying any attention to me and I walked out the door!!!!!! The owner should really fix this! I am never going back!

They do such a great job! They also can do a wide variety of designs for reasonable pricing. It is a very clean, relaxing, and professional business!

I paid 105 for my dipping powder set an less than 48 hours I have 5 nails broken I’ve never experienced this before from my previous nail salon I’m overwhelmed because I can’t afford to pay another 100 Nd the same thing occur😪

I have been going to Bilona since they opened over 4 years ago and I love it. I have always had very pleasant experiences whether I am getting a pedicure or manicure. Kayla does an absolutely phenomenal job on my eyebrows. On a few occasions they were busy, particularly on the weekend, but that is expected. As long as I am in Dekalb, I will be going to Bilona for my grooming needs.

Service was okay but the actual work on my nails was horrible and mediocre. I like the place its very nice looking and modern. Never again will I go to same nail specialist she definitely needs improvement. Overall my experience was good just the work on my nails was not satisfying.

I got a full set gel nails and it lasted over 3 weeks without chipping. They have new owners and I really like them. They’re friendly and listen to what you want.

BiLona always makes sure you are satisfied with your finished product! The nail techs are funny and personable and I have never left feeling dissatisfied with my nails.

Honestly, for the price, I was expecting better.Overall it wasnt bad, but a few of my nails are filed kind of lop sided, the paint job was messy, as is their shop. It does not give off a clean, respectable vibe. Kind of shabby. Not impressed.

If i could give 0 stars i would. The staff was completely rude to me and my family. They incorrectly charged me when i payed. I specifically asked for a american manicure which was 5 dollars on their card. When i went up to pay it was suddenly 20 dollars. My sister informed me of this and we went back in to try and get a refund/my money back. They refused and tried to say I got a color changewhich i had no polish on my nails when i came in so i have no idea where the hell they got that from. I will never be coming back here, the staff was rude and did an awful job on my nails. Dont come here if you want a decent looking polish.

I guess you get what you pay for. I like a pedicure for my sore feet, I got the fastest massage out of every where Ive been to! I would not recommend, I was the only customer and she hurried through like they were booked up!

Ive been going to this salon every other week for a few months now, but I officially will not be going back. My nails never last as long as when I get them done at other salons, and Im not always thrilled with how they turn out. But the last straw was today. I went in for a new set and to get my eyebrows done. I had already paid for the nails and eyebrows, which is all I wanted, before they did my eyebrows. The woman did a good job with that, but then also waxed my upper lip. I was frankly a little insulted, as I didnt need that, but brushed it off. But then as I was walking out the door after my nails dried, they chased me down to charge me an extra $6 for the lip wax that I didnt ask for and didnt want. When I told them that I didnt ask for that, he just kept saying you got the lip done like I didnt understand. Well, thats the last $6 youll ever get from me.

My niece comes here, and absolutely loves it! I do not understand why there are negative reviews. I believe the negative reviews are from previous owners. My niece says she will only get her nails done here.

I went in for a deluxe pedicure. They scented the pedi water, they exfoliate your legs and feet, they gave my feet a parafin wax treatment, they hot stone massaged my legs. It was nice. I just sat there reading my book for an hour. $50 well spent

So unprofessional! Its only about 2 people that can actually do nails, everybody else is sloppy and they rush!! Prices are super unreasonable. It only gets 2 stars because it looks nice inside.

I would not recommend this shop. The only reason I continued to go was for one nail tech who only works on the weekends. The no chip polish always chips. The owner is very rude and has horrible customer service skills. I would shop around. The service has gone down the drain.

They never answer the phone. And I got my nails done yesterday and one came off already. The guy that I let do my nails look a bit confused and anytime I asked him a question he always had to ask someone else that worked in the shop. He seem like he didnt know what he was doing.

I got no chip nail gel polish and In one week my nails were chipped and the nail polish was peeling off... I’m not happy about it at all. I didn’t do anything that would cause them to chip.

I LOVE this salon. It’s the best in dekalb. Most of the negative reviews are from the old owners. Not the new management. The new management is very good and I’m very happy. Salon is nice and clean and they do Great predicures.

Went in for an acrylic nail removal. The man doing my nails started to pry the acrylic off my nails instead of soaking it off. It hurt so I asked him to stop and soak instead. After soaking in acetone, they used the electronic drill on my natural nails, leaving clear indents where too much of the nail had been removed, one of which is sore if touched.

See Destiny Taylors previous post, I had the same experience.I simply needed shellac nail color removed and it took 35 mins, soak/resoak x3, and a ton of healthy nail off my nail with 3 different tools. If youve had your nails done before you KNOW it doesnt take all that to remove the polish.Also they quoted me $5 but of course at the checkout they insisted it was $10.Major language barrier, awful skills, dishonest approach. AVOID!!

Found this place and I got to say the service is great. Really enjoyed the tropical pedicure.

Went to get my eyebrows waxed....NEVER AGAIN. Two bad experiences but it’s right next to my gym and I was in a hurry. Horrible decision. I asked just to have them cleaned up and was horrified when the majority of my eyebrows were taken off. To top it off I woke up the next day to red, raw, painful skin as she got wax on my eyelid and it was much to hot and burned my skin.Will never go back.

Worst nail salon Ive ever been to. When I first sat down the employee there made a rude comment towards me. Then after messing up one of my nails, he got up and left saying another employee would fix it. He never came back. I just sat there for over 40 minutes waiting for someone to help me but no one talked to me. Very poor service. I would never go back here again.

This place is absolutely TERRIBLE. There are ants crawling all over that store; their floors are covered with skin shavings and nail clippings; the nail techs who own the store are so incredibly rude and only care about taking your money; and their supplies are not properly cleaned and sanitized (my friend got manicurists warts there!). NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS PLACE.

Im here now and i specifically told them that i wanted a woman because the man did my friends nails and she hated it, so i rather not take my chances. Ive been here for over an hour. The women keep looking at me. So far theyve put two white women before me. DO NOT COME HERE

When I went to get my nails done, I got what I wanted. They took for ever to do it. What should of probably taken about 20-30 minuets, took an hour. They did not clean up my nails before they put the polish on. When I first walked in, I noticed that the front desk was a little dirty. Then when they were doing my nails, I wanted to get glitter on one of them. They did it, but they used a tray with a bunch of dried up nail polish in it. They also seemed a little unorganized. She used the same glove, and tools that she had used on other people. They did not even take the tools out of some sort of sanitizer. They also told me one price when I was getting them done, but when I went up to pay, they told me a different price that was more expensive. She told me forty when I was getting them done, but then fifty when I went up to pay.NEVER GOING BACK!!!DON’T GO THERE!!!

They gave my best friend a fungal infection on her finger nail that she had to be hospitalized for, she got out the se day but it made her very sick. This is from them using all the same tools on everyone and not sanitizing them properly.

Terrible experience today! Will never go back!Went there with my friend today as soon as we walked in we were not greated at all. Finally a lady said what do u want very rudely told her we are looking to get a mani/pedi each. She didnt say anything after that asked her if we need to pick a color??? Or what? She said yeah we picked one then sat down she never acknowledged us after that. We sat down with our color and waited for over ten mins. Nobody came and told us how long it would be or if they would help us! It was so rude how we were treated and we will never go back ever! From now on I will keep my business in Rochelle. i would not recommend going there!

RUSHEDWent to get my a pedi mani it was empty at first then the first sign of people walking in the lady started to rush me and hurt my fingers with her instruments and was starting to mess up. no tip for her.

NEVER GO THERE I WENT TO THE IN DEKALB AND im akind a very nice one thats why I didnt say anything the massage was ok but when she scurbed my feet(with the dead skin scruber thing) it hurt but I thought she was new cuz she kept looking at me making sure it was ok but it HURT SOO BAD!!!! but after that she massaged it and it felt good and so was her painting but I got home to look at my foot cuz it still hurt and it was bursed and I dont bruse easily

I was in at 9:20am I asked for a French manicure and my toes painted French as well. I got both painted French as was rushed due to another customer who came in after me who was in a hurry.... Will not go back.

This place is just horrible... if I could give it zero stars, I would. Ive been there and I left with my nails looking absolutely horrible. they had my mom wait for over an hour there to get a pedicure done and when they were done, she was not pleased at all. DONT GO TO THIS PLACE.

If I can leave zero stars I would. I went to get my nail done and they didnt last me a whole day and to top it off they charged me twice and I still havent received my money back

The lady that did my eyebrows waxed off the tail end of one of my eyebrow. Its impossible not to notice it. I dont recommend using them for any service.
