Go to for a car wash. Discounts for bulk. Nice little store to entertain the kids or feed them snacks while you wait. Excellent service and staff. Car looks so good even at basic washes. Splurging for a higher tier wash or detail can make your car look new.

I went and asked for the cheapest wash which is $17.99. lady gave me receipt taped to window. I asked if I should pay now or after?. She said when you get out you can pay. I didnt think I had to get out for basic wash. Something told me to look at the paper she put on my window. She actually put down another wash that was $31.99. I saidthats the cheapest wash? I thought it was $17.99. she said oh, you just want out side washed? I said yes, I asked for the cheapest. So theres that, then when I got home I noticed there where spots still all over my car. Lessons learned was check papers before going through and check car before leaving. Not the first time this has happened. I will. It be returning.

We were told to park our car to the side after coming out of the wash and watched them take cars that had been behind us for drying. We ended up losing our place in line by like 5 cards Not to mention, the bathrooms were both supposedly broken. Terrible customer service!!

I have a compact car that has been lowered with a front splitter and bargeboards - the mechanical wash here does not interfere with my bodywork, other shops have sent me away.

They do a great job here. You stay in your through the wash now but then they do the inside and dry. They always want you to be satisfied.

I have been your client until today, never again. mistreated me in your san carlos shop.I had a washing plan, Saturday (07/31/2021) around 2:00 am, I got close to the person and said “I have a plan” and the person gave me a paper, as I always wash my car twice per week. so far everything is normal. after washing a guy told me its ready, the kid on the side said no. they took my car and when I could see it, I had to pay for a wash that I never requested, when I tried to talk to the manager he said “do what you want, as long as you dont pay for your car, dont leave here”. and held the keys. thats no way to treat people. on monday Im going to see my lawyer to get my money back.

I went all out and got the $80 hand wax. Impressed by how fast they were. As well as the quality job they did to my c300 Benz! They brought that Glossy Black paint out.. Thank you Duckys. This location is a lot better than Menlo Park but they are not very good on even basic interior cleanup. Outside is good. Can often be quite busy.

This expensive had their special $79 so it ends up to $100 but just hand wax thats it vacuum wash car but that means you wash my rugs wipe down my car inside detail my rims in my tire I mean thats worth it for $100 but hand wax thats it good job but not that good so I will never go to Duckys again ducky Deez nuts

Very disappointed. Paid for a VIP wash 49.99. Tires are half shined. Have dust throughout interior of truck. Menu says Hand wax spray. Never got done. I asked and was told the machine added it along with all the other extras I paid for. Wont be coming here again.

Thoroughly meh experience, especially for the price. I had previously taken another car here and gotten an okay job, but I thought maybe it was because of the age of the car (96). I recently went to burning man in my subaru, and after doing some preliminary cleaning myself (important to note!), decided to take it to duckys for a more thorough job. Why duckys? They offer coupons for their car washes, and with $8 off their vip wash it was hard to say no.I was extremely disappointed with their service. It was quick, but I would much rather wait an hour for a more thorough job than come home to a still dirty car. The windows have streaks, theres muddy water that has run down the sides of the car, and the inside wasnt even vacuumed thoroughly. Definitely not bringing my car here again.

Paid for VIP. Definitely not spotless, could use them more attention to detail especially if you are getting the most expensive wash package.

Have been taking our cars here for years. Its more of your typical automated carwash. The greeters and cashiers are always friendly. The drying crew after the wash work furiously to get the job done quickly and tend to mis a few spots but are quick to oblige if you point it out.They are always running offers for extra washes when you pre-purchase washes, so look out for that.I wish they would also offer a hand wash option for cars with ceramic pro.

Having recently moved back to the Bay Area, I can say that the options for car washes here are really limited compared to SoCal. Also, much more expensive here for less service. If there was a DIY carwash available, I would choose that to going here.

Awful service! They didn’t wash my car properly and didn’t rinse the foam properly. More likely because of increasing a speed of their automated car washing machine.

Water droplets everywhere around the car, and they didn’t vacuum entire sections of my car. This is after their VIP package. Don’t waste your money by coming here

Impressive, fast service. Organized in their operation (lots of people waiting to work on your car), pleasant waiting area, well kept, clean, shaded. I personally appreciated the plants and small garden on the property too. Thank you for making a car wash beautiful. All staff seemed nice and hard working (staff were running to the next car and worked swiftly). They did a thorough job on my detail work too. I saw the manager (?) walking around running everything but jumping into help a lot. They are also following covid guidelines well. Appreciate this small business.

Ive been going to this location for the past two years regularly to get my cars detailed. Theyre expensive but they did a very thorough job. Today was the first day that I got a basic wash Deluxe for $18 and it was horrible. Before entering the wash two people scrub with deck brushes and multiple times hit the car with hard parts of the brush. The wash process itself takes about 30 seconds it slaps your car around and send you on your way before its even dry, left with soap to dry on the paint. Any gas station car wash for half the price would be twice as good. I spoke to the manager and she dismissed the problem saying that she could send it through the wash again. I just explain to her that that wash is terrible and just wanted my money back. She would not give me my money back so left. I will not be returning. I should have trusted the other bad reviews. STAY AWAY!!!!

They do a great job of efficiently cleaning cars. I hardly ever wait long and service is really good. They could spend more time on wheel cleaning but overall, very happy

Fast clean friendly service

Went in for a regular wash, nothing fancy. Waited like normal and even noticed that the young lady emptied my trash in my car which is why I gave 2 stars, otherwise it would have been one. I get to my car when its done and notice theres still wet spots all over my car. Asked politely to have those dried up and then I noticed a nice scratch/gouge in my windshield like someone dragged something across it. Also, got home and noticed lots of spots that werent even cleaned. Back license plate area and behind the mirrors. I know I got a basic wash, but for $35, I figured that meant still taking care of the car like it was being detailed. Sorry, I wont be using this establishment anymore.

Fist time writing a review for a car wash. Hopefully I’m not too critical. Trunk, underneath car mats and driver side window sill was not clean. Had to request a re-clean. After requesting to clean underneath car mats. The representative lay the dirty mats on the clean seats to vacuum. Now the clean seats are dirty again. This company needs quality control.

Went early on a Sunday morning and there was hardly any wait. They did a great job, really taking the time to dry and also vacuum my car. They also have a good set of prepaid packages available to save.

Very detail oriented staff. Rewards for coming regularly. Lots of pricing options for anything from a quick wash to full detailing.

Good chain of car washes across the peninsula. The washes are good, nothing great, nor terrible. I do wish theyd put a cover on things like seats and steering like some places do, that a nice touch.Also, I dont see point why theyd change the driver settings of the car, like the ac settings, vent orientation, rear view mirror etc. its not really a long drive.But overall, for a fair price you get a decent wash.

Dont waste your money. Went yesterday, paid for VIP and the two girls that dried and vacuumed the car missed a lot. They might have been challenging each other to see who finished their side the fastest. One young girl was trying to force the back door up...its hydraulic!! You dont pull and then pull more!!! Not happy at all!!! It was better than I went in there...thats the reason for the 1 star.

Myra, the manager, went out of her way to ensure I had a spot on my cars exterior buffed. She didnt have to but knew Id appreciate it and my car looks great now! She was extremely helpful and courteous and she runs a great business! Very satisfied!

I dont understand how this place gets any good reviews. They charge almost 40 bucks and they dont even clean the inside of the car. They vaccuum quickly but thats it. Not a good place

The San Mateo Duckys is great. Good job inside and out, even vacuum your trunk noon request. Happy workers, plenty of seating to wait for your car to be washed. Free coffee for patrons.

While they are fast less than 10 minutes to wash my car, its pricy at $32.99 and I would expect it to be a little cleaner. Dusty doors, windows not all the way clean and the tire dressing only 3/4 away around the tires. I know....1st world problems but 10 minutes for $33. Doing it myself next time.

Good staff, good cleaning service. Not great with detailed cleaning but its fine for a regular wash and vacuum. They have good deals online as well as Groupons all the year round.

I got the VIP clean here before going on a road trip. My vehicle had about 6 months of dirt (hiking, construction boots, etc.) on the carpet floor mats. Could not believe how clean they got them. Will definitely be going back.

Car never looks washed. There is always spots and red stains. I have been there 3 times. And its always the same. Inside is spotless but outside is never clean.

I opted for the $13 exterior wash and it was a waste of money. I basically got a thorough rinse but that was about it. My car showed up with some bird droppings on the car and after they were done they were still there.I basically had to go home and wash the car again. All they did was rinse the top layer of dust off the car. I couldnt call it anything near a true wash.I used to come here in the past...looks like things have gone downhill since they used to do a good job.

Used to love bringing our car here until recently. Last time I paid for the top end wash and extra services (over $50) but it was a bit of a rush job. I figure that is bound to happen time to time... Today when I arrived the greeter helped several cars that came in after me and skipped right past me. When I asked him about it he was very rude and argued about it, when it was pretty obvious Id been standing there for 5-10 minutes. I know people make mistakes, but you lose my business when youre rude about it.

I. Love. DUCKYS.They do a great job (most of the time) but be warned: youll spend more in the gift shop than on the actual wash.

I wanted a good vaccuming ofninterior and a hand wash of exterior. There was loose dirt and sand in front And back. Loose dog hairs. Spots on the windshild. Grime on the outside mirror arm. Yuk. Waste of time money effort

You know this Duckys really has more bad days than good more recently. I have been going here since the day they opened. Recently they have raised the prices again, along with AutoPride. Now I understand all this cost of doing business pass it on to the customer blah blah, but if your going to do that make sure your level of service, at THE LEAST, stay the same. In this case it is not what has happened. Prices are up, level of service .....meh. I was hit for $30 (no coupon)for low level wash and for the first time ever ....left no tip. Went home finished cleaning car. Also there is no such thing as a Duckys Basic anymore. .When this happens I go to Redwood City car wash or back over to Auto Pride San Carlos or sometimes even up to Jacks in San Mateo but generally the wait up there is to long. Good luck happy car wash hunting.

They do a great job really clean inside an outside the car

It was quick and my car was very clean afterwards. I had sand in the carpet and the exterior was very dirty. Afterwards the car looked brand new. I got the deluxe for $28 I think.

Didnt even look like the car was washed or vacuumed! At $40 for the wash/clean there should be a difference. I was really upset about it and tried calling them to see if they could redo it the following day but despite the 3 messages left that day and the 3 messages left the following day they didnt bother getting back to me. I will not be going back here and suggest you dont either if you want your car to be cleaned....I mean that is what your paying for right....

This was my first visit to a car wash. I had a Groupon coupon for $24.99 for a $39.00 car wash. I couldnt believe that a car could get washed that quickly and that the list of what the $24.99 consisted of. How could they rain shield the surface, slip stream 60 day hand applied paint protection, Ultra shine triple clear coat, Ultra shine sealer, undercarriage wash, rust inhibitor, single coat polish, wheel brite, air freshener, tire gloss, wipe door jams, vaccum interior and wash windows in and out, in 15 minutes. I examined it all and had to point out all the dirt that was still on the tire rims, the windows, inside the doors. It was no wonder they were done in less than 15 minutes. I highly doubt that some things were even done. I never saw anyone wash the undercarriage. I called Duckys and left 2 messages. No one ever called back. I went back to Duckys and a very nice young man somewhat re-did some cleaning. That was the first and the LAST time I go to Duckys.
