When I first moved in there were quite a few issues with the apartment, but they jumped on the problems immediately, got everything fixed up fairly quickly, even started my rent start date a few days later so that I could save some money while they fixed everything. Good parking with wide spaces and no towing issues. Ac works pretty well even on the 95+ degree days. Not the most put together apartment that I’ve had but everything works and nothing is badly damaged. Easy to fix small wear and tear issues and make it your own home; anything bigger they’re good about getting fixed.Office staff is very friendly and tries their best to do what they can. Maintenance staff are very sweet guys who really seem to know what they’re doing! My toilet and bathtub drain was clogged and they came in and bleached the whole bathroom after they were done. I have a baby so the extra care was really appreciated. Hoping these next 6 months are great so that we can turn this place into a long term home. :)

It currently has been over a hundred degrees without the heat index for the several days. I have had a problem with my air conditioner and have had maintenance over here numerous times. They finally figured out that the unit for the air conditioner is not the appropriate size to cool off my apartment. It is currently 85 degrees in my apartment. I have contacted the office numerous times as are waiting for a new condenser to get here. I asked for fans and or to be put up in a hotel until it is affixed appropriately due to my underlying health conditions. Was told by the office manager that they dont do either or and to call her in the morning. So I can speak to the owner of the building. I pay 1025 a month and I cant even have air this is freaking ridiculous

I am writing this review on behalf of my sister who was in her bed getting ready to go to sleep for the night and had a full size roach curling up to her chin. The bug people, came to “spray” for these bugs almost 3 months ago but the day after they had come, we were finding bugs EVERYWHERE. It is July and we are still seeing bugs all around the apartment. Nothing is good about these apartments. Please do not move here.I wish to rate this place 0 stars!!! The ROACH problem is only one of many issues about this place!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont understand the negative reviews, I actually live here and transferred here from another state. When I first arrived there were some underlying issues with my apartment. Christian and his team were AWESOME at handling it. He was not forceful he gave me options and even offered me a down sized unit. I chose to wait and it was promptly done. NO ONE in that office is even mean. Everyone is very, very helpful. Now lets get into this BEAUTIFUL apartment. EVERYTHING is updated. (Once im done decorating I will attach photos). I have two full bathrooms, a whole laundry room inside my apartment, full kitchen with newer looking appliances, a dining room and huge living room. Every bedroom has a walk in closet also. The balcony is a nice size too. So dont go by these negative reviews. At night its quiet you may hear a dog bark but the neighbors are also respectful.

The Estara is looking nice thanks to all the improvements that the office has been doing. I have also seen how security is strong here. I recommend the Property highly.

I just wanna know what’s up with the mailboxes nobody gonna talk about that. The paint on the floor and stickers on the wall they tried covering with paint instead of taking them off and re-painting the wall.honestly everyone should just save there money !there is mold in the restroom and in the air vents .

I leased an apartment here and couldnt even move in because there was food still in the refrigerator, door knobs missing, part of the ceiling was falling down, and paint was splattered over the entire apartment floor. The owner of the property had a poor attitude, was agressive physically by stepping up into my face without a mask to the point where I had to ask him to step back because I was up against a chair. The other staff he hired to run day to day things were great, but the owner himself is obviously there to just collect a check and could care less about his tenants. Steer clear of this place.Edit: The owner is a slumlord who tried to illegally evict 25 people in September of 2020 during the COVID-19 epidemic after receiving money from the Small Business Assistance Program and was shot down by a judge. There was even an attempted protest on the property because of it. Sunisir Sun is the owner, and is a dishonest, slimy person who has no business running an apartment complex.

The pool, grounds and the amenities at the Estara are beautiful. The service is excellent. My work orders get done promptly by the maintenance crew. The staff provides me great service whenever I need something.

Hands down the worst place i have ever lived... SAVE UR MONEY you are better off on the side of the road. They have 3 maintenance workers that dont know what they are doing the management has switched 5 times since i have been here. Our AC has broken 4 times and each time takes multiple months for them to come fix it. Broken down apartments, terrible water pressure. Never answer your calls from the leasing office. This place is delusional and probably why management continues to switch again and again. Gun shots, not a safe neighborhood. Loud neighbors.PLEASE save your money.

My experience so far have been great moved in August, maintenance works as soon as possible and people from the office are very humble. They are willing to work with you any way possible and try to understand every situation ! Room are spacious !

Management has done a great job in improving security at the property.  The new security company is very responsive when called.  I was not happy in the past with loitering and trespassing but this has been significantly reduced.  Management is also enforcing rules about not grilling and keeping the property clean.I am giving 5 stars in the hope that this can be kept up!

Now that I am no longer a resident with fear of retaliation I can post my thoughts on the estara it is not a good place the owner does not care if his staff are rude to you and has no time for the residents. We put in multiple work orders first for the plumbing because the people who had our apartment before us pored oil down the drain meaning that it would clog up and back flow; which it did shortly after we moved in to the apartment. The first time maintenance came out to fix it they drained the sink and didnt bother with the dish washer that was also backed up. So we had to call them out again and that time they fixed the sink and drained the dish washer but they didnt put the dish washer back together so it is unusable. I do not mind that the maintenance guys speak mainly spanish because I can Google things but it would have been nice to have gotten a heads up when moving in to the apartment or for them to have someone that people who do not know spanish can talk to, because the maintenance workers if you dont know spanish will not try using Google translate to help you understand. The office is a mess staff wise. When we were getting approved the owner was always in meeting instead of approving or denying applications that would presumably sit on his desk. The neighborhood is probably the only redeemable thing at the estara because other then them being a little loud, and some showing signs of drug use they tend to stay in their own groups and not bother passersby. All and all if you are looking for a place to stay it might be beneficial to rent one more month where you are and look a little more.

The management has made this place a lot safer for me and my kids, the buildings and community are consistently getting better

This is by far the worst apartment complex. Since ive been here the light bill has been $242 & the guy keeps insisting its based of usage but the past 3 months we’ve been going through a divorce & havent even been there. They send pest control & maintenance people to spy & sneak information. They take forever to fix things. The hot water has been luke warm since I been here. The pathway leading to my doorway when it storms is so swampy and mucky its hard to walk. When I first moved here it was mud everywhere and all the had was a long thin board to walk on to get in my apartment. The called themselves sending pest control last week and this week ive seen more roaches than anything. We definitely will not be renewing the lease. They suck.

If you are looking for a decent place in Dallas aFor under or around $800 (coming from an out of town (Saint Louis ) perspective) that is lesser at least in violence and an apartment complex that care I wouldn’t recommend. I can tell by the mountain of mattresses by the dumpster and the group of children out front claiming gangs that this is not the place in terms of up keep or safety just keeping it real. The buildings look older.. more so unkempt

One of the most peaceful places Ive ever resided. I love the area. The fitness room is amazing! The atmosphere is great. The service Maintenance has a right on time energy. Overall, Im totally satisfied living here.

The front office ladies are delightful. I love stopping by to talk to them. It is a pleasure to walk the grounds here, quite beautiful and peaceful. The organic vegetables are a plus, but I recommend some flowers in front of the leasing office. The best property I have lived in.

Returned rental verification quickly!

These apartments are horrible. They will tow your car for no reason have you pay to get it out and then claim they will credit your account that is not true . I have put in several work orders and none of the problems have been fixed . My refrigerator has been out for two weeks now and no one has come to fix it . I’ve lost so much food because of this . It’s always trash on the ground around the property. O and don’t let me get started on these random charges every month we pay around 1600 for our apartment because of this.

The staff at the Estara Apartments was nice and friendly. they worked long and hard to get me move in. i would tell my friends and family about these apartments.

Maintenance do not know what they are doing. Work orders are a joke. As far as managements and staff.... they change them out every couple months. With little to no communication. It’s been 3 months of our ac going on and off. With multiple emails and calls to get it fixed. Still nothing which is dangerous with this summer heat. Emergency line is useless because they don’t come out and fix anything.

I moved in on 2016 at that time the management was efficient and easy to deal with. The management did change a couple of times, and unfortunately the experience was less than pleasant. As of a few months ago the original manager is back and it seems as though the issues are being addressed in a timely manner. I would recommend this property to friends.

The view from the leasing office of the pool and the landscaping is very nice. It feels great to live here. The rooms are really spacious and much larger than other properties in the area. I understand that these are newly renovated within the past two years. I have a family and the apartment is ideal for us. The service is good

When I renewed my lease it was lower than what I was told and she had everything ready for when I came in to sign again. She always helps and makes sure maintenance jobs are done! I moved to The Estara in November of 2017. It has been a great experience thus far. No bug problems. Newly rennovated and I couldnt ask for a better place to live. Its peaceful here to me. I have lived here for more than two years. The corporate office seems interested in improving service to residents.

My family and I have lived at the Estara for about 8 months. We are moving due to job relocation. The rating is 3 stars because of the young lady in the office named Amber. She has always been a big help and honestly if it was not for her we would have been left. Maria has been a help too but we always seemed to catch Amber =). There are lots of things can be improved at these apartments, such as fixing things on time, well actually fixing them and getting better pest control. Other than that from the office Amber is the one!

Ive lived here for about 7 months and I am very satisfied with the way things have been. I am greeted with a smile by Amber and Maria every time I enter the office and they are always willing to help with any problem I may have. I would definitely recommend moving here.

When we applied, we were told to wait for about 4 days but 3 weeks passed and didnt hear anything back from manager, we would call often and no one would answer and when they did they would say the person with our paperwork is in meetings or breaks and to call back in a certain amount of time, we call back and some other excuse or they would say we would get a call returned and never hear back. Then they would answer they would come up with some excuse as to why our paperwork has not been put through for approval and we have a time frame to move out of our current apt. Its almost gonna be a month since we applied and the excuses keep going around.

I went in recently to renew my lease and am happy to do so. That is because, my unit which is over 1,300 square feet is the largest in the area, and is ideal for a family of four. Secondly, my work order requests have always been promptly completed.

I checked several properties in this area, and am happy too have selected the Estara, based on the quality of the apartments. I have a large, spacious unit of more than 1,000 square feet. The interiors are excellent. I am hoping that the service will be equally good.

It has been a positive experience so far, the staff is very professional and has gone out of their way to make sure I had a great move in experience.

This are great apartments, friendly, wonderful and helpful staff, there office is open on Saturdays for working people who cant make it during the week, They are very diligent and dedicated to adhering to your problems, Amber and Maria are awesome in the front office. They take their time to personally get to know each tenant. The pool comes in handy during the summer for the kids. The office is always having motivational and fun functions to bring the community together. Also there are activities int he front office to help occupy the kids while at home. There is a very low crime rate because your neighbors look out for you. The parking is convenient unlike most apartments. I have just renewed my lease at these apartments and I look forward to another year of comfortable living at The Estara.

The Eastara was great when I first moved in. Then they got a new people in office and they are horrible!!! They will tell you have late fee for electric but never get a bill she turns off your power in the middle of the day in the middle of January when it’s 32 degrees outside threaten to change your locks as soon as possible!! Stay away they are scammers tow cars for no reason!!!’ STAY AWAY!!! Shooting and crime all over the area!!!! Update I talked to the owner and he has fixed the problem I have since moved back into the apartments and I’m a happy resident! Thanks again for reaching out to me...

Property seemed decent when I signed my lease but since new management, notices arent being passed out and grounds are not taken of, gunshots at night obviously no security, they failed to pass a notice to me that they changed towing companies and my vehicle got towed at my cost. Foundation is causing the buildings to fall apart and my balcony railing isnt even attached to the wall at move in. Property manager doesnt care about tenants and theres six other properties on the same road that would be a better move then here

I recently renewed my lease at the Estara apartments.I like the fact that my unit is more spacious than other apartments in the market, with a great layout.Overall, I have a nice feeling about the property.The amenities are great and I enjoy working out in the gym and swimming in the pool

The ladies in the leasing office at the Estara Apartment are very helpful and promptly attended to a roof leak that I experienced. The manager came in on a Sunday and the problem was resolved quickly. I give this property 5 stars for service. I plan to renew.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!If I could rate a ZERO on The Estara Apartments I would!! They have RATS and ROACHES in every unit!! Dont be fooled!! It looks nice but in reality its just poorly renovated. Everything starts to fall apart when you move in. The maintenance do a poor job of fixing what you need fixed if they even show up to do it at all. Management has poor communication with staff and with the residents. They always try to get you caught up in late fees!! The only time I would ever gets calls from management is when they want more money! I had to bring my saved receipts from paying rent just to prove i was on time! They are very disorganized and dont know what theyre talking about half the time. It was absolutely the worst experience!!

Just move in. Only been in my apartment 3 days. Its beautiful. Everything is brand new. Spacious floor plan. The staff was wonderful. Getting approved was an fast and easy process. I really love my place.

Moved in a couple of months ago after looking at several properties in this area.The Estara has the most spacious units, best renovated, great layouts, with large closets and great amenities.I love the staff here - so helpful.I do not get the negative reviews here - must be just mad. LOL

The people in the apartments are good neighbors, however moved in, in October and wish i would have read the reviews about the pluming issue in my building. I have posted pictures below to show what i have to see every day and smell. I called corporate and he blamed the tenants and me when i asked why is the property not being attended to daily when they know its a sewage issue. I advised these problems existed well before i became a tenant and its clear via the reviews. He was rude and very unprofessional. NEEDLESS TO SAY I HAVE CONTACTED THE CITY AND SENT THEM PICTURES! THIS IS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND THE PLACE SMELLS JUST LIKE THE STOOL YOU SEE IN THE PICTURES. It is not a easy fix and that is understandable, what is not understandable is the stool not being cleaned daily.UpdatedThe sewage problem has been fixed. They are now in the process of replacing the walls in the bathroom that was affected and they also gave me 100 off my rent next month. The office staff has been very helpful and erring questions and keeping me informed. The sewer issue was 8 feet below ground and expensive, but Im glad it was taken care ofupdate...the walls were replaced almost 2 months ago and the bathroom still has not been painted. Maintenance stated they needed a couple of days after replacing the walls but never came back. My company can not use the bathroom downstairs and they havent been able to do so since OCTOBER! I put a request in on 4/4/19 for my upstairs bathroom light to be replaced because we are unable to get the fixture off. We have been showering in the dark every since. I do not recommend these apartments at all. I though with new management there would be changes..

Would not recommend these apartments to anyone. They are full of roaches and the front office people get changed ever other month. Pool is never open till 10 like it says and very bad area. Always something going on and gun shots going off

I am happy to renew my lease. Although there has been a turnover of the staff, it has continuously improved, as has the service. The property is very nice and they try hard here.

Dont i repeat dont stay here it sucks. The apartment is nice by far but the service sucks ... Wouldnt tell anyone to stay here door has been broke for months . . they make the apartment look nice on the outside but it takes months just to get anything fix our window broke and we still do not have a window all they did was drill a board over it .. Its so UN safe if I didnt have my dog to protect me I wouldnt get no sleep

Went to apply for a place and because I had no idea what the other roommates rental histories were, Estara kept my deposit because they lied on their application. So we has to sign this packet of paper and pay the application fees, administration fees, and the deposit before they even ran our applications.STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHADY PLACEUpdate: they still have not given back our deposit, they also have no way to contact their company other than there Facebook page.

I can not wait til my lease is up. The office NEVER answers the phone.Maintenance takes their precious time responding and coming out to fix the issue.Towing is inconsistent.Not to mention we have a new property manager every month.

I lived at the Estara for 2 Years. The management changed 5x while I was living there. Each time getting more incompetent. When we moved in the sink was backed up and the disposal didn’t work, it took them a week to fix it. The first week the back door worked fine and then when the lock broke they refused to fix it stating they would have to replace the entire door. Each time we got new management I asked them to fix the back door which they would not. Parking is a nightmare and depending on the management there were parking stickers and then there weren’t. Friends and Family can’t stay too late or they will be towed for not having a resident sticker. When we moved in we were told it was like resort living. Supposed hammocks and resort like pool. No hammocks. The pool was often green and closed. We were also promised an Enclosed porch or “private yard” and despite two of the neighbors (that worked for the company) getting gates built on their porch I was given the run around for 2 yrs and still never got a gate. The dog park isn’t maintained by the complex at all except passive aggressive signs added everywhere. The dog washing station in the dog park is just for looks and is consistently broken. The laundry room money machine will steal your money and the office will not refund. We ended up breaking our lease and moving because of the excess of rats and insects in the building.

This is complete BS living here. Management have changed 3 times since I lived here. The first time management changed we had to use the drop box to pay rent. Magically part of our rent was stolen according to the guy in the office. I brought in the money ordered receipts (the originals) and the cashed receipts that Western Union sent to me to show the office. The only thing that guy said was that its the same signature from the rest of the stolen money orders and that I will get my money back once they finish at small claims court. Management changed and nothing was passed down to the new managements about money being stolen and a refund or credit. And it gets better. Our apartment was filled with roaches. I was on maternity leave for 2 months and not once have anyone came to spray our apartment. So I had to hired Orkin to come out to get rid of the roaches. The ceiling leaks in the kitchen and maintenance just keep coming out and repainting it. I am sure its mold in the ceiling now. There is never anywhere to park. I had to take Longhorn towing (the tow company they hired) to court twice now for illegally towing my car and not having the proper insurance to cover the damage to it that they caused. I was promised an upgrade to a 3 bedroom at no extra cost because of the inconvenience of our rent being stolen and of course management changes again. Theres no communication in that office. No proper turnover between managements. Also I am sick of paying $200 for utilities when I dont use that much electricity but its base off of everyone in the same building as you. I just hope when its time for my least to be up that the sheet with all the prior damages to the apartment is not lost because I want my full deposit back without having to take them to court.

The website is not current with prices that are applied in face to face encounters. As well as with the amenities applicable to the unit. I was denied for a larger square foot one bedroom. Qualified for a few foot less unit. Upon entrance of the unit it smelled, the patio appeared to be about the placement of your two feet to step out on(very small in diameter). Which was the floorplan for the larger sq foot unit one bedroom. No washer and dryer in the one room as stated on the website only in the two bedroom. After turning the offer down for the smaller ft one bedroom unit, I asked for my deposit back for 150.00 and DOMINIQUE(the property manager) stated unfortunately I could not get it back with no explanation. Stated I was illiterate while MARIA (the leasing consultant) was hollering at me about allegations of telling me something that was never spoke of. How is any of this tolerated and why could I not get the deposit as it is REFUNDABLE especially with me not even moving in a unit or trying to retain one🤔. The only thing nice about these apartments are the pictures they post( false advertising). When you see them in eye view a total different approach.

When I first visited this property I was afraid about the my visit due to all the horrible reviews online. But I have to say honestly I was amazed with the property. I was greeted instantly upon walking in the door and it felt like I was at home. I was given all the answers I needed and they built that connection with me thats important to me while looking for my next home. I am a strong believer in giving people the praise they need and deserve and personally these people need their praise as it is well earned. Friendly office workers + great property= one satisfied and everlasting resident. Thank you Estara !
