I just moved in here and the staff including management and maintenance are the nicest people I have ever met at an apartment (most know how hard that is to come by)! My only complaint is some things weren’t quite finished when I moved in (W/D, floor leak, dishwasher…), but all of those things are easily fixable and the maintenance has done their best to get to it right away! They are super fast and the management staff was very apologetic and truly show they care. So far I’ve had a great move in experience and the newly renovated apartment is absolutely gorgeous! Very happy to call this place home.
This has been by far the worst complex I have lived. I was a former resident for less than 90 days. My apartment was damaged due to the recent snow storm in Dallas and I haven’t been living in the apartment sense mid February. I continued to pay FULL rent even though the apartment was severely damaged mold infested no carpet no walls. I called and email dozens of times and even got the city involved. We were finally told it would be finished in 36 days and I needed to find somewhere else to stay while repairs are being done and I was fine with that till day 29 and nothing was done. I asked the apartment complex if I can pay a smaller Portion of my rent intended of the full amount and was told no. My apartment didn’t have water or stove in it but I had to pay full price!! I decided to move and was sent a bill that I own the company money and that my Deposit was not going to be refunded keep in mind I was only a LIVING resident for less the 90 days and my family was treated poorly and pushed aside by the staff. They knew I had a five year old daughter. How could we stay in a home that was being pass off like a crack house. No one apologized that was definitely the most Disheartening part that at the end of all of it no one cared. I’m embarrassed that I wasted time and money here. Don’t live here cause you might end up with my mold infested apartment.
By far the worst experience Ive had with apartments. Neighbors and staff are inconsiderate and have no respect for you. If you want constant problems, this is the place to be. Overpriced and not worth it. Ready for the lease to be over with.
The entire staff is a joke!! I would not recommend Allure to anyone!!! I’ve never in my life been treated the way this complex has treated me. I was involved in a fire back in February of this year. I lost EVERYTHING due to their faulty wiring. To top that off their smoke detectors in my unit didn’t work. I had to start contacting the leasing office from a different number when I needed to contact them because they no longer answer my number. The final straw, after asking to extend my lease for another month, I was told I couldn’t and that I needed to vacate or they would take me to court. After paying movers, getting a storage, and finding a hotel for my daughter and I, I get a phone call an hour before closing on that day I had to be out to advise me that I can in fact extend my lease if I still wanted to. Meredith and Sidney are terrible managers and definitely need better customer service skills. Oh yeah, don’t attempt to contact CAF Management headquarters you’ll be lead to a voicemail and never receive a call back.
We have been living at allure since January. Paul was very helpful on the initial tour and advised us on some really helpful stuff. Hes always super nice and ready to help out when you need it. Hes got jokes, too. Maintenance is pretty quick, and they do a great job of maintaining the space. The management here is pretty efficient on addressing issues reported by the residents, especially concerning community spaces, like the gym or pool.
This is by far the worst apartment experience I’ve ever had. The office is all renovated and “fancy” while the units are in disarray, full of mold and overpriced. We even went almost three weeks without air conditioning with a newborn child at the end of our lease. The service request simply was ignored as we would show up to pack our things in our sauna of an apartment. So obviously we had to find another place to live, despite still paying rent in a place that was unsafe to be in during the hot Texas summer. The maintenance staff is lazy and doesn’t seem to even care about actually making repairs on time and correctly. I highly recommend never living here. There are tons of brand new complexes all over Dallas where you’re guaranteed a better experience.
I have been living here for several years and it’s the only place I visited when moving from out of state. I have never encountered issues while residing here. I can say this that the staff has been great 👍🏼 Throughout my years and continues on with the current staff of Sydney and Paul and many others including the maintenance 👨🔧 crew!!!! Highly recommend. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Property manager responded to my review saying they responded promptly to my broken ac request. THIS IS A LIE. They did not offer any help whatsoever for 2 weeks!!!! This complex only wants money and does not care about its residents AT ALL
Lived here previously when it was k own as The Ashmore. While I loved my apartment, my fiances car was STOLEN from the property (luckily we got it back) but the office was not concerned and did not offer help. We had a pretty good reason to believe the maintenance people had something to do with it due to previously being out of town, our alarm went off because maintenance entered out apartment without notice and told the office that they were their to replace something, which was done weeks prior. I would def recommend getting an alarm system/cameras and keep your personal items safe.
Joselin Melendez in the main office is an excellent employee. She has been receptive with all my move-in concerns and prompt about ensuring they are completed in a timely fashion. I couldnt imagine this process going smooth without her. If youre interested in obtaining an apartment, I highly recommend consulting with her. Thanks Joselin!
Great staff and community! The manager Meredith is great and truly cares. Sydney & Paul in the office are always helpful and friendly
DO NOT LIVE HERE. Horrible and lazy staff. Our a/c was out for over 2 weeks in July and they did not care whatsoever. Had to move out early because of this since we have a baby and it was unsafe living conditions (80 degrees in the apartment all month) Highly recommend any other apartment
Looks like a nice place and i was interested in chatting with the office to see what was available, sadly though, the 30.06 and 30.07 signs posted on the door prevented me from entering.
Lived here for a year now, residents are mostly quiet and clean. Staff is always helpful. Much better than other properties ive lived at.Ammenities and parking are nice as well!
I was looking to relocate from out of state but my job took me in a different direction, so unfortunately I can not call Allure my new home.Highly recommend to anyone looking to move to the north dallas area!
I have lived here since October 2020. My apartment building caught on fire in February during the snowstorm. The fire alarms did not work. The pull down handle it don’t work. People could have died if our neighbors didn’t bang on doors. The manager did not know of a building on fire until 3 am as we all sat in our cars in 10° weather. And wasn’t even there the next day to offer what to do/information.The management here offered no help for anyone in building 3 to get “rehomed” or anything. I paid up to $3,000 for an Airbnb (hotels were at 100% capacity at this time) and for clothes, food, etc. and had to wait for an apartment to get ready for move in. I told them the higher rent for this would impact me but I had no other choices. They would NOT budge on keeping the same rent as my previous/uninhabitable apartment. It is so sad they wanted their money over making their tenants comfortable. I accepted the 12 month lease and got $500 off my rent, which I HAVE to pay back in 3 weeks since I am moving out of this disgusting place. The “upgraded” apartment was AND is absolutely disgusting, they had a cleaning crew come in 3x to clean. I requested more cleaning and Meredith, the manager, acted like I was crazy until she came in and saw it. Dealing with her is like speaking to a high schooler and she just does not care whatsoever. We were without furniture and other valuables for months as this property dragged their feet to get inspectors in. I would have never thought a North Dallas complex, bringing in money, would have their tenants live like this.I have posted pictures to show that it is still gross, paint is chipped. My ice maker was never fixed at the time, the light under my mircowave has never worked, dishwasher door is loose and gross, doors are not screwed in all the way in. I have found numerous ticks in my bathroom as well in the past few months. I have had to have them replace my wash machine after 2 months of use. Everytime I pay rent I flinch because this place is NOT worth it. And I have to pay to move out of here. Absurd.
The 5 stars is for the maintenance man Chris M., Not for the apartments. Ive lived in the Allure Apartments for 2 1/2 years. I originally put in a work order about my kitchen sink and dishwasher in March 2020. The dishwasher would back up into the sink and would take sometimes take days to drain completely. This created a horrible smell.Someone from maintenance came out in Aug, and stated that a part needed, and he would order it. He turned off the garbage disposal and dishwasher. he told me that I would need to wash dishes by hand until the part came in. This did nothing for the draining of the sink or smell. Now we are at the end of October and my sink and dishwasher still isn’t fixed. On monday Chris came out and fixed the sink, and dishwasher, without the “ordered part”. He also replaced the filter for my heat. Apparently a part was never ordered or needed. My lease is ending next month and I will be moving. I’ve been paying for pest control every month and no one has been out to spray since December of 2019. The complex continues to go up on rent but doesn’t wish to fix things.I appreciate Chris M for taking personal responsibility and accountability with fixing my sink and dishwasher, and making sure that I now have heat. Especially since cold weather is setting in.
SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND EFFORT IN CHECKING THIS PROPERTY OUT. THIS PROPERTY IS DEFINITELY NOT WORTH LIVING IN!Management is TRASH! Just money hungry. I cancel my moving due to so many LIES from The property Manager Meredith. She is very arrogant. Narcissist and Rude. Please see all picture from the apartment she want me to move in. After I saw all reviews I should never applied!
Update after 1 year: I’m still loving Allure, I just renewed my lease. Gained 1 star because of how great the floor plan is and maintenance is still incredible. Dog owners need to pick up after their pets in the pet areas but otherwise, great location. Sydney in the front office is super nice and helpful.I’m obsessed with my apartment here at Allure. Maintenance is QUICK and EFFICIENT, grounds are clean. The car wash doesn’t work though. Front office staff is really nice, except Kacey. She removed my sister (realtor) from my application when moving in even though we had a very clear conversation about how I found this property.
Honestly these nothing completely perfect in this life I moved to this place in January and I just love my apartment I mean these little things here and there but it’s nothing compared to area and just how paul helped me get this apartment and the professional staff at the office.I should say I recommend this place and enjoying my stay here
This review is for Madalyn who helped us in the office. Madalyn was bubbly and kind while she showed us around. She made us feel comfortable while giving us all the information we needed. She answered all of our questions and concerns! She was over all a wonderful lady! 10/10 would want to rent from her again!
This has been one of my favorite apartments to live in. I enjoyed the layout, the parking is good, and the staff are very professional. The addition have a parcel room was great as I received a lot of packages and having them kept in lockers was very nice. This is the first complex I have been to that had the feature. If you choose to live on the south side of the complex on the second or third floor near the highway make sure you are aware of the noise it can create. It can take some getting used to. I would have liked to have gotten a new lease here but there no smaller apartments available at the time unfortunately. If the price is okay with you then this is a good location to live in.Edit: After over a month the deposit was finally returned and I was charged with ridiculous cleaning and damages. The bathtubs were bleached and scrubbed weeks in advance as I was the only one in the apartment. The oven was not used at all for months and also contains a double-sided window that cannot be cleaned without disassembling the oven. The microwave was kept spotless as this is a practice I have always followed to keep it from being harder to clean in the future. There was trash removal charges and I have no idea what the trash could have been as I owned so little that when it was time to move, all of my belongings fit comfortably inside my Honda Fit. These charges are complete lies and I say these words seriously as a person who has a strong compulsion to clean and organize. This is very disappointing to see from an apartment complex that I had previously been happy with.
SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND EFFORT IN CHECKING THIS PROPERTY OUT. THIS PROPERTY IS DEFINITELY NOT WORTH LIVING IN! Take it from a past resident that lived at this property for more than 14 years. Although a great property at first, over the last few years, the change of ownership, management, and office staff, have lowered the standard significantly. This review does not even give me the space to touch the surface. The neighborhood is no longer safe and forced us to moved after happily living there for so long. Stay far far away! You will be glad you did.
Been living in Allure Apartments for 3 months now and they really are a great place to live. The repair service is prompt and excellent. Chris does an excellent job repairing anything that needs attention. Thanks Chris for everything!
After looking all over for apartments for my daughter, in Dallas was ready to tell my daughter to to just stay in Fort Worth! Most complexes had awful staff that changed when we spoke with Madelyn pleasant, kind and most of listened to our needs! Best experience by far with apartment property. And we will definitely be leasing here thank you Madelyn!!!!
Madalyn showed me around and I love this property! I cannot wait to call Allure home. Their entire staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome!
I hate writing these because I feel like I sound computer generated but I absolutely LOVE my apartment! ANNA at the office was so awesome and knowledgeable....she really sold my “home”. I couldn’t be happier... Ask for Anna!!
Audrey did my tour today and she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Her energy made me even more excited than how beautiful the community and the apartments are! I went to a lot of different apartments but her customer service and the community sold me!!! I’m looking forward to moving in and calling this place my home for the next couple of years!!! Thanks again Audrey, you are definitely an asset to Allure!!
Absolutely beautiful property! Fun themes and great staff! Madalyn answered all of my questions promptly and professionally and I couldn’t be more pleased!
Management is TRASH! Just money hungry. We just moved in and right off the back their team is horrible poor customer service. Getting charged for their w/d when they still haven’t even installed after two weeks of living there. Along with many but small things that needed to be fixed. This will be one long year.
Paul was incredibly helpful! He was able to answer all of my questions and help me find exactly what i was looking for.
Hello! This review is for one of the maintenance guys, Chris!I have been living in these apartments for over 3 years now and unfortunately I have had constant issues with my a/c. My apartment would reach over 81 degrees some days and nights and it was unbearable. My electric bill in the summer time has never been below $250 sadly because of this. I dealt with this for over 3 years in the summer time until recently I decided I couldn’t do it any more! After putting in an order with the office, they sent Chris over and within minutes he was able to cool my apartment down and fix all the issues with my a/c! He also told me to change the directions of my ceiling fans and WOW did that make a difference. Thanks Chris for saving my life! Lol Now I don’t have to sleep with my fan on high anymore at night because my apartment now blows cool air.Allure- Gives this guy a raise and a promotion, he deserves it!
I visited the community on 11/16 and spoke with Alyssa & Sydney about leasing an apartment. The grounds are well kept and they were very attentive. I’m an avid renter and believe me, this is the property to keep your eye on. The floor plans are spacious and the questions I had were answered honestly and directly. Plus, it’s close to the tollway. This is a well deserved 5 stars. Thank you Ladies!!
My encounter with the Mgr.(Jordan Meyer) at Allure was very professional as she was very responsive to all my needs, she made you feel special and comfortable to speak to her that made you feel right at home.
Madalyn Robinson was amazing throughout our tour in answering all of my questions and getting me in and out as quickly as possible. Overall a great experience was not disappointed.
The apartment complex is nice and the office and maintenance staff are somewhat okay. The only issue with this place is safety. As I write this review my car has been stolen from these apartments and I have a police report pending with Dallas Police Department. Somehow someone managed to drive off with my car in the middle of the night. MY WORST APARTMENT EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Also, this is not the first time this has happened. Two years ago a lot of us got our cars broken into.. Move in at your own cost. Otherwise get an apartment with an attached garage.
Went in for a tour and Madalyn was so helpful and knowledgeable. Have a couple of more places to check out but I will probably go back.
I had a great experience...a young Lady named Madelyn helped me and was very knowledgeable with all the information that I needed!! Super helpful!
Stay clear ! The maintenance is lazy and do sloppy work. The staff is just here getting a paycheck.
Very pleasant experience. This is probably home. Young lady named Madalyn was very professional.
Alyssa was awesome, I did not move in yet but if this is what to expect I can not wait! She was very informative and patient. She also made sure she didn’t give me false information and confirmed what she was telling me. It was very assuring and whoever hired her did a great job as well.
I am relocating from NC to TX because of my job. I was interested in moving to Allure. When I sent the request for availability, they responded back quickly. I understand about not getting approved but taking a while to respond back about my deposit being refund is unacceptable. I email the three time and left voice mail before someone provided me feedback. It has been 31 days and I still have not gotten my $250 deposit back. I will be leaving a review every week until I get my deposit that is due to me. I should not have to do a dispute with my bank to get my money.
Sydney was very nice and extremely helpful with all of my questions and concerns before moving in. By far one of the best leasing agents I’ve dealt with!
Terrible. Just terrible. Absolutely horrible apartment complex, do NOT spending your money and lease with these guys. Poor customer service & money hungry staff who wont think twice before screwing you over. Worst renting experience of my life.
I have lived here for almost a year now, Kasey in the front office is GREAT and has been from the start. I only gave it 4 stars cause I did have issues with maintenance addressing service orders in a timely manner, but Kasey deserves a 10. She is always willing to help!
DISCRIMINATION truly takes place here. I could upload pictures, but I’ll leave that for the legal part of this issue, don’t reply as if you all are trying to work with me because they guy that was supposed to contact me has not emailed or called at all. Like I’ve said they will discriminate and take your money when you are no longer a tenant.
I was sad to leave my 1-bedroom apt this summer. I truly loved everything about Ashmore! AWESOME location and even more amazing front office team. Alexis, Lo, and Randi were a delight to work with! They always worked on my behalf to make my living experience better. I have lived at numerous apartments and never have I had a management team that advocated for me like these ladies did. Thank you, Ladies for treating more than just a tenant with a bottomless bank account!
A wonderful place to call home. The entire staff always greet you with a smile. One of the staff members Michelle was very helpful to our needs, and is quick to attend to any problems that arise . The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers and the help of people that stays at the apartment. Keep up the Good work!I will let everyone know about the great staff and apartment!
Jared was AMAZING! The apartments themselves were decent and the upgrades were unique, but Jared’s personality was the icing on the cake. He made my experience enjoyable and definitely left a lasting impression. Thank you !
Most of my experience living here has been uneventful, generic, and nothing outstandingly incredible. The current property manager is arrogant and rude. He literally stated to me that he was unable to return my after-hours call because he has a life and it would be unfair to other residents that he would refuse to speak with. Poor choice of words and attitude! The maintenance supervisor did return my call, after leaving 4 messages over the course of 24 hours, but had very little to add other than an empty promise of the manager calling me back because he had nothing to suggest other than calling 911 for a downed tree which left my garage blocked and vehicle trapped. Apparently with the property management industry its standard to have a revolving-door for staffing, as the office team who was here when I moved in has completely changed--but its not as though the previous team was much better. Very disappointing for their corporate mission to be to exceed the expectations of our investors, residents, and employees and the companys focus to be on People - our investors, residents and employees are important to us. We always strive to communicate this in all we do. yet the property manager cant be bothered to call back a resident because he has a life. I look forward to and welcome corporate response to my review because its important for them to know where they are failing at their mission and focus statements. People Matter? Nothing youve shown me to date aligns with that statement.
I always had great customer experience with Leasing Staff and CAF Management for any issues reported within no time..My Special Kudo’s to Jordan &Taylor Team..Always helped in every possible way to get issues resolved during after hours or any help with finding packages if miss placed by Amazon delivery guys.My special rating to CAF-I had bad experience with A/C after move in, but they were ready to help me almost 3 times until my issues got resolved.Apartments-Overall Great experience!!!!Hint- I honestly hate the apartments that’s facing highway..Really had bad experience with Road Noise, So please becareful on picking the apartment.
I looked at an apartment with Madalyn and she was extremely helping and professional. The home that was quoted to me ended up being out of my price range, but it was gorgeous and the staff was super nice.
KACEY MOELLER IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE AND SHE LIES A LOT !! however the Property manager Haley was there to clean up her mess, she is awesome very professional and understanding. But As long as Kacey is there I do not recommend.
My stay at Allure has been great! Any issues I have they quickly solve. All my neighbors have been great and it’s very quiet in my building.
I’ve been at Allure for a little over a year and I must say, when I first moved here, the quality of service and professionalism of the staff, was unacceptable for me. But I have to definitely give credit where credit is due...since we have had Jared as our property manager, I have seen a TREMENDOUS improvement. He’s hands on, approachable, and very easy to talk to. I am very OCD, particular and a perfectionist. I believe that as a tenant, you should get what you pay for and NO EXCUSES. Jared has made it much easier for me to get my situations resolved efficiently and effectively. KUDOS TO JARED!
The new management ARE DISCRIMINATORS. Took all of my deposit of 2years or basic wear and tear carpet!! It’s sad how they try to get over on ppl. The old management was great!! This new crew does not care. And I even have to go to small Claims court to get my deposit and something the apartment is suppose to pay for standardly. Smh BAD MANAGEMENT! full of discrimination
I have lived here for over 6 years. I have never had a maintenance problem that wasnt quickly resolved. Generally 24 hours, a time or two 48 hours. The grounds are well maintained. My neighbors are good people. I have particularly relied on Sydney in the office. She does an amazing job. I cant think of any reason to leave. I recommend the Allure and CAF management.
After a wild experience with my past apartment complex, The Ashmore has been fantastic!! Felicia has been my guardian angel throughout my entire transfer process and made the move so simple and easy. She had everything prepared for my move in and I am so happy with my apartment. The office staff has also been very helpful and efficient through any requests I have made. So thankful to finally be living in a great complex!! Covered parking included is also a plus haha.
Ive lived here for almost 2years & the staff has been awesome. Work orders have been timely and Michelle is just AMAZING. she took the time to listen to my concerns and prompt in taking action to get a resolution. Overall, Ive had a pleasant experience with all staff & would recommend the place to my friends.
This place is wonderful! I moved here October 2018 and have nothing but good experiences. The staff and management are very attentive to residents and always address any issues/concerns in a timely manner. The grounds are clean and are kept up to date. The floor plans are cozy yet spacious. I couldnt be happier!
I called to look a place before heading over but when I got there they told me they didn’t have one to show. The vibe seemed off and it’s not like they wanted to help me away. Things happen, we get frustrated. I get it we all are human. And I know no one likes touching anyone by accident when handing over something but as a word of advice to anyone working in customer service don’t throw anything down on the counter instead of handing it to the client when they have a hand out. It comes off foul and just bias in many ways. I’m not a dog....no matter how this world might make some of us seem......And if you figured I couldn’t afford this place. You thought wrong.
Leasing Agent Michelle Kinchen is awesome. She is very professional and courteous. She is very knowledgeable and understanding of my needs. She answered every question I had. I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone who is in need of a new place to live🙌🏾🙌🏾
I appreciate Alex being so diligent and working on my repairs and other requests in my apartment . He is hands on and he cares. Thank you so much.
Maintenance staff is great. Saul handled my concerns immediately. He truly is an asset!
Hallie was amazing! She was able to work with me to ensure all my needs were met throughout the entire process. She answered each and every question and was always available or able to call me back within hours. I would recommend anyone because the office staff was amazingly nice and always clean!
Very shady business practices, My credit was almost effected just from applying with this management team. I would absolutely avoid this place at all cost, do your research and read reviews on this complex and its sister complex essence. You will find a trend with the complaints from residents and those that have moved out. My experience was horrible and I would absolutely advise finding an apartment with stellar reviews like I have.
I have not moved in yet but planning to. Randi is just awesome. If I make a decision to move in here, the way Randi welcomed me will be one of the important variables that I am considering. She really deserves best leaser award.
I love these apartments, I moved in about 2 months ago. quiet diverse neighborhood close to everything
I am moving to Texas from another state and this is a very frustrating experience, but Kayce is making it so much better!! She really goes above and beyond for future tenants! She always follows up with me, shes very respectful, and always in a bubbly positive mood. I am confident if I rent here I wont regret it.
This place will try to get every penny out of your pocket. They will trap you in paying extra days beyond lease with different rates, will keep your security deposit due to unnecessary cleaning charges (even if you leave apartment super clean), and will not give you true and timely information. Worst rental experience of my life!!Moreover, dont trust the fake response to the review, the staff could not care less. Discussing with office staff will not get anything resolved. I tried multiple times. Once they have decided to charge extra, they will!
My apartment is so wonderful, I can hardly wait to get home! It is so quiet that you hardly hear anything! I recommend it!!
Great place to live! Ive lived in these apartments for close to 3 years now and I can honestly say I have no complaints. Every time Ive had any sort of issue they have fixed it, no questions asked and generally in a timely manner. Repair orders, at times have taken some follow up on but thats any apartment complex. My apartment itself has held up well, nothing broken over 3 years, only thing I need help with is changing light bulbs here and there which they are more than willing to do. The staff, to me is always different besides the main few ladies but the other people arent new new they just might be from a different property but they are just as nice and attentive. Have recommended this place and will continue to recommend Ashmore at Horizon North!
I am a realtor who sent a client to these apartments in February 2019. My client paid app fee and a admin fee and selected an apartment that should have been available on the day hey had listed on their website. She was not updated or notified that the unit was not ready and was promised in writing that the property manager would send back her apartment deposit to her mailing address on file. It is now July 6th and she still has not received her money back.To add insult to injury she returned to the apartments today to try to and lease a unit since they still have her deposit. Her response from Kasey was that they sent her money and she would need to reapply all over again. Then she said maybe the money was never drafted out your account so we don’t owe you anything. Which one is it? Don’t lease here there are many quality apartments I have in my database that won’t hold on to your deposit after their mistake of leasing a unit that is not available.Call me before you lease with them!
Saul is a wonderful maintenance lead and such a kind person!
Really appreciate the swift resolution of our maintenance request! Chris with maintenance solved our issue in no time at all!
My wife and I recently relocated to Dallas from South Carolina. Most of this process was completed online along with a few phone calls. We settled on Ashmore at Horizon North for what have proven to be an EXCELLENT choice. Great staff, quiet community. Thanks for the professional and warm reception.
I’ve been at these apartments for 2yrs and I’ve never had a problem here...guess I’m one of the few people who actually appreciate and understand what the staff has to do to accommodate everyone’s needs and don’t interpret everything as an attitude or unprofessionalism, or complain about the smallest things that don’t even matter around the complex...Michelle has been very informative and helpful! She has done her best to accommodate anything I needed! She has guided me through processes and has been knowledgeable in every question I have asked! I would definitely recommend living here, but when you do, ask for Michelle!!! She’s the truth!!
Ive lived here for the past 3 years & I have enjoyed calling this community home. The maintenance staff is timely & professional & I have always had good experiences with the leasing office staff. Its kind of bittersweet bc its a great complex but there have been lots of car break ins & robberies since Ive lived here. Car breaks ins have happened once to my husband and once to me as well. They didnt break any windows, just used something to open my husbands trunk & my passenger door. We didnt have valuables in the cars so there was no loss. I would say dont leave valuables in your car & use the buddy system if youre going to be coming in or going out late at night. Other than that, no complaints. New & updated appliances, friendly staff & great amenities. Would definitely recommend.
I have lived at Allure for approximately 8 months. I signed a 12 month lease and I am looking to move after my lease is up.First I will state the positive. I love my apartment and the layout is great. However, the walls are very thin. I can hear my upstairs neighbor talking all the time. Also, someone who lives around me smokes marijuana excessively causing my apartment to smell of marijuana all the time. Then I open my patio door to air out my apartment (because the smell makes me nauseous) and the smell of someone smoking meat on a smoker on a trailer in the back parking lot. There are vehicles with expired registration parked within the parking lot making it look like an abandoned car lot. I walk my dog sometimes before going to bed and you can smell marijuana smoke as you are walking. (To each his own.) If that is your thing that is your thing. However, I do not want my apartment smelling like marijuana! I have explained this to the office and, as I am aware, not much can be done at least try. I am in property management myself and there are some issues within this community that need to be addressed. Landscaping, rule enforcement, etc.
I’m kind of late, but I came to Ashmore looking for a 2bedroom. There were a few people ahead of me but I wasn’t in any rush. I was helped out by Michelle. This young lady has the brightest spirit I’ve ever seen. She turned my bad day into a great one. Even though she hasn’t been at Ashmore long she could have fooled me. I’d give 10 stars but that’s not an option. Michelle your an amazing person don’t let anyone change that!
Jared was professional and I really felt that he understood and addressed my situation compassionately.
I would leave zero stars if I could. I’m big in customer service and service recovery. This property does not care. They made a mistake, and refused to acknowledge it. Terrible management. I looked online for a unit that was available immediately, and found one that I loved. I asked for a quote, and received it. It said that the unit was already available, and asked me to proceed with my application. So, I did. I paid the $385 fee only to find out that the unit would not be available until the 28th day of next month. I was MISLEAD by false advertisement, and they refused to refund any portion of the $385 fees/ deposit. A complete waste of time and money. Dishonesty is disgusting, and any company that is not willing to correct THEIR mistake is dishonest. Terrible experience trying to find shelter, and horrible customer service. They will tell you anything to take your money.
Friendly staff especially Michelle, she was very helpful and knowledgeable about the complex. She is truly amazing at what she does.
We have lived at this apartment complex since 2014 and over the last six months the complex has hit an all time low. This summer our apartment flooded and the management could not find the maintenance person for about an hour and half. During that time our laundry room and kitchen was collecting water. Thankfully, we came up with an system of collecting the water in stare buckets and emptying them over the balcony. After the flooding situation no one came the check on us or to apologize about the whole situation. This whole last year the security gates have been broken about ever other week. They are currently broken as I type this. When we ask about the gates we get a passive answer with no actually results. So what bring to write this review before we move out in March is, we currently dont have a working air conditioner and it has been out since Thursday. I called Friday morning to in a work order. After running errands Friday and Saturday, we realized there is no way the air was fixed so I called again Sunday. Sunday they informed me that the work order was never put in and she is putting it in now and promised it would be fixed no later than Monday. I was upset but its the weekend so I figured they were down a couple of maintenance people and Monday would be okay. So now its Monday and the air conditioning is still not fixed! My boyfriend called on his break to make sure it was getting done and they told him it was taken care over the weekend?!? Obviously not! I also called on my way home from work and they let me know it didnt get done today and will be taken care of on Tuesday. So if you do choose to live here be prepared to not have working things/people, like air conditioning, security gates, or maintenance workers.
I went to visit Ashmore today and I was disappointed. I really LOVEEEE the property and the layout of the apartment homes....but I was disappointed to walk into a model and smell a VERY strong odor of marijuana. I know every complex is going to have its issues. I am concerned that if I move to this location this is the type of thing I will have to deal with. The property is absolutely beautiful. I AM STILL DEBATING!!!
I was recently in the market for a new apartment and applied to Allure after touring several properties. The grounds were nice, the staff seemed friendly and the price looked right. However, priorities changed shortly after submission and I found myself considering other options much closer to my place of work. Since I had already applied, the money spent on the deposit and application were key factors in my decision to move here or elsewhere. I spoke to my leasing agent and he assured me that while the application and admin fee were non-refundable, I would be refunded back my deposit since I would not be moving into the unit. With this reassurance, I cancelled my application.A week or so goes by and I have yet to see the refund. I call the property to ask what time frame to expect and am instead told they would not be refunding the deposit. I explain that I was told otherwise and am transferred to the property manager. When the line picks up, I am not even greeted with a name. I am simply told I am speaking with the property manager. The remainder of the call is as cold as the start. I am told that my leasing agent gave me the wrong information, and the application states that all collections are forfeited if an application is withdrawn. I let her know that my decision was largely impacted by what I was told by my leasing agent, and that I trusted him to explain the terms buried within the numerous pages of the application. I also show her that the move-in statement lists the admin and application fee as non-refundable, but not the deposit. The response Im given can simply be summed up as Too bad, the papers you signed say otherwise. I am told that I can speak with the regional, but will be denied just the same. After the call, I log in to my applicant account to review the paperwork. Apparently, you can no longer do so once your application has been cancelled. How appropriate. As someone with a career in hospitality, I could not be more ashamed with the complete lack of empathy or understanding shown in this situation. I cant say I am entirely surprised though, since it fits in perfectly with the overall lack of transparency showcased throughout the process. See a rent you like online? Add $86 on top of it in mandatory monthly fees. Does the apartment have upgrades? Those also arent included in the online quotes. Best of all, do you want to get in to your gated parking lot? Then expect another $50 fee when you sign your lease just to get the FOB. This only shows up on your move-in statement after you apply, of course. I had a bad feeling when I was filling out the application, but ignored it after seeing the community amenities. I should have listened to my gut and walked away. I take solace in knowing that the next year would likely have been 12 months of the same treatment, and hope my experience can help others make informed decisions.
Kayce and Michelle are just fantastic! We had some issues when we moved into out new apartment (Maintenance did finish a few things). Those to did everything in their power to help up get through and have what we needed fixed!
I am not quite a resident yet but I will be before the month of January is up. I absolutely love it there. Amanda is so awesome, her energy is a amazing.
It used to be okay when I first moved in and Im not sure if management has changed but the service/ maintenance has completely went down. The girls in the front office are not very professional on the phone and if theres an issue theyre all going to turn it around and make it like its your problem and really not that important. Its been over a month and my service request for my AC has still not been completed. Like, there isnt any central heat and air, literally..its broken. When I call to check on the status of my work order request, the people in the front office give a canned response, and tell me I need to wait. If service and customer service are important to you, I would not recommend. Ive submitted three work order requests for the same issue and the front office keeps closing my requests and marking them completed even though its been over a month and the same repair has not been fixed. This shows a huge issue with accountability, responsibility, and integrity.
Been here since 2014 great place to live. staff is great and will work with you.
The staff at Ashmore are just amazing! I visited the property with my daughter and the amount of knowledge everyone had and how helpful they all were played a huge part in why we put Ashmore #1 on our list. I absolutely adore Jared, Michelle, Kayce and Janay!! Great customer service and even better team work!
Despite the bad reviews you see. These are a really great place to stay/call home. Very peaceful and quite environment. Everything you could possibly need is definitely surrounded by you here. My apt flooded after me staying there and Ms.Meredith, Jessica and Sara did everything in their power to make sure I was comfortable and took care of me until my new apt was ready. Since then my family is slowly but surely moving this way.Ashmore is a great move.
The management and maintenance are both horrible. Ive only lived here for 6 months and had 2 major issues with water leaking/pipes busting during the summer months. Management refused concessions for not being able to use certain rooms in the apartment for weeks. Thank goodness I only signed a short lease. I do not recommend this place.
Bad experience. The floors and bath tubs make creaking sound and the nearby street is very noisy. Despite tiptoeing you will be disturbing neighbors and getting complained about. The lease fine prints are meant to get any extra bucks from you, whenever possible. PAY ATTENTION!!
I must say the people that are the phones are Great Michelle did a excellent job explaining everything to me and was very informative every step of the way I would definitely recommend Michelle Kinchen here shes great!!!!!!
As a daughter of someone who owns multiple properties they are not comparable to what I call great customer service. I witnessed a resident get irate with the property manager and working in customer service as well, it was not handled in my opinion in a proper manner. the property manager could have diffused the situation and sometimes they do make mistakes but they dont admit it. I tried to resign my lease for over a month. I was given 3 different excuses each time I came in the office to inquire about it. All they had to say was I just dont have it written up so can you please give me a couple days and I will call you when I have it written up. But no it wasnt. And when I finally came in to sign it, it still wasnt ready...there were pages that had to be torn out and now we have an addendum to sign where we cant bad talk them. I wonder why that came about. Instead of trying to cover up the poor customer service, actually take into consideration of what the tenants are saying and make changes. That doesnt have to be firing of people. Get them training and coach them to listen and actually follow through on requests. Teach them to compromise on some things and appease the resident. I was told that landscaping was in the works to fix the mudslides in the parking lot. I still slide in mud and track it in my car even when I made notice to the office. The price of rent goes up but same complaints remain after a year in the property. The responses are robotic on here to reviews and if they really cared about how people are saying negative things about the property and they really do care then they should pick up the phone and rectify the situation and not tell the residents to call them. If I were a property manager I would take initiative to fix things and do what it takes to get better ratings and reach out to those who dont feel great living here and watch how things turn around. That is great customer service if they would only try. And after trying to call about the new charge that was added on my list. I was told signing my lease that nothing changed but the increase of rent and the trash talking addendum and my only response is that they were sorry and they couldnt take the charges that werent discussed with me and that the manager who did my lease is no longer with the company. any great customer service is would rectify the things that their poor management did and turn things around because us residents would tell our friends that we do not recommend to live here if asked.
The property is very clean and the customer service is awesome. Michelle Kinchen is awesome if you have any questions or concerns she is your to go person.
Whatever the issue they address and fix the same day- great customer service
