Andy George-McClurg is literally the most amazing craft hairdresser! Every haircut Ive gotten from him has been perfectly balanced and well-suited to my hair texture, lifestyle, and vision. Hes also just the sweetest person and really cultivates deep and lasting relationships with all of his clients. I genuinely look forward to chatting with him when Im in the chair--especially about horror movies! Im just thrilled with his work every time, and Im always planning my next visit! I’ve loved every haircut and color I’ve had here. Ilektra is a wonderful stylist having graduated from a top school in Europe, and trained with an excellent stylist in Athens. She knows her craft, does great work in cutting hair and color/highlight combinations, and is very time-efficient. The prices are very reasonable as well. I highly recommend this salon and Ilektra.

I visited Jekyll & Hyde for the first time years ago. It was such a positive experience when I was looking for a new salon in Columbus I decided to go back. Since then I’ve seen Sean for color & Andy for cut. I have been nothing short of wowed by both of them! I am incredibly picky about my hair and each time I’ve been beyond impressed. They are both lovely individuals who have mastered their craft.

I had an appointment with Ilektra.. she was awesome. During entire service she made me very comfortable. She fulfilled my all desire and gave me a nice haircut. Ill definitely visit there again. Thanks for nice, friendly service. :-)

I don’t think I ever want someone else to touch my hair after I went in to see Andy. He did such an amazing job! He listened to what I wanted, and knew exactly what to do to execute. He’s meticulous and detailed, and works in a timely fashion. On top of everything else, he’s also very kind and funny, and the experience as a whole was great. Thank so much!

I am really disappointed with my experience here. The stylist ignored my instructions but I decided to go home and wash it out rather than complain. However that didnt help. I was angry and demanded my money back, but then relented and said that the money wasnt important, that I just wanted someone to fix my hair (per the policy on their site). The salon assured me that the stylist would work with me, but she did not offer to fix it. She did refund my money. However, I am stuck with a terrible haircut since I cannot get an appointment with a more trusted salon for about a month.

All I can say is WOW! I found this gem on Google, and booked an appointment with Cheyeene Yates online. I’m so glad that I did! In addition to having an awesome name, the salon is clean, professional, Covid compliant, and Cheyeene is incredibly skillful in her craft. I have an asymmetrical, short, and curly cut. After a year of home pandemic-style cuts (lovingly but NOT expertly provided) by my wife, my hair needed some serious work. Cheyeene took her time and care in fixing the errors that had been made, and she even took care of problem areas for me. What’s even more outstanding is that she understands CURLY HAIR! Anyone with curly hair knows what I’m saying! If you’re *lucky* enough to find a stylist who can at least cut curls, it’s a rarity that they are able to style it appropriately. Cheyeene was able to do both while beautifully and thoughtfully explaining her process. The salon uses products from Italy that are so reasonably priced.At the end of my cut and style, Cheyeene told me the total, and it was so reasonable, I could have fainted!!! Go to Jekyll and Hyde! Go see Cheyeene! Do yourself that favor. (And, Cheyeene, as I was writing this review, I realized I may have mispronounced your name; I’m sorry!)

The salon is small but cozy, and I love it. Jaina is my girl!! I went in for a drastic chop a few years ago, and have been loyal to her ever since. Ive done purple, green, blond, and now back to my natural brunette and its always looked amazing.

I LOVE this place. I had to find a salon in Columbus because I go to school here, I’m not from here and I picked this place because of the good reviews and they’re all accurate. I had Val do my hair and she is amazing!! I used “sun-in” on my brown hair in the summer and it left awful orange streaks that didn’t blend and when I saw Val she talked me through highlights and fixing the damage and coloration and my hair looks completely different, you can’t see the sun in and I absolutely love it. Thank you Val!!! This was not an easy situation with the sun-in and it turned out better than I could’ve thought.

I have been going to Sean for over a year now. I had lost my usual stylist and had used a referral. Boy, was that a disaster. I was so self conscious about my hair and Sean worked her magic. She made me feel so good again. Since then, I trust this girl with my life (hair, to most women) and take her word for anything, which she has not led me astray yet. Every time I go in, I always leave super happy, happier than the last time.

Best place I have been to. Just moved to Columbus, had a horrible experience at another location with waxing. I found this salon by walking by and found my new spot!!!!!!!! I met with Alyssa or Lyssa on microblading for my brows (because of last place and the 90’s) and she made me feel so comfortable and confident in getting them done. She did such a great job and it looks so natural! I don’t know many people here but I will let everyone know I meet. Thank you!

I went to Jekyll & Hyde for the first time a few weeks ago! I went to Sean for some color correction and to start taking my hair lighter. She made me feel super comfortable and took charge of my vision really well! She’s a very responsible hair stylist, she transitioned my hair lighter without risking damage. I would definitely recommend Sean :)

Ilektra is the hairstylist of my dreams! I HATE getting my hair done. Its always a big fuss. She listens well to what I needed, immediately understood and was fast, thorough and handled my hair expertly! I normally go someplace different each time i get my hair done. But Ill be back

Elektra was my stylist and she was AMAZING!!! Not only was my haircut and styling perfect but the scalp massage was so relaxing. We were able to keep most of the length (mid back) but it is so much lighter now. Totally recommend trying them out!!

I am so impressed with this salon. I went to school with one of the stylists, Jaina who is a hair wizard. I highly recommend her. I had a different stylist named Mara. I cant recommend Mara enough. She created what I wanted and more. I have bounced around with stylists and salons, but will definitely be going back because Mara is phenomenal!The salon is so beautiful. I love the atmosphere. Everyone is so nice and willing to have a conversation.

I have been coming to Jekyll & Hyde since I discovered this hair nirvana haven in 2012. I’ve been to many of the stylists there and they are all so fabulous! Today, I got lucky to get into the chair of Angie, the owner, to do my hair. All I can say is wow, what an artist; what an extraordinary mind. You thought the sky was the limit... she’s headed to space now. This one is a true gem in our neighborhood. Constantly thinking outside of the box. She is the type of person that sets the trend, not follows. She just knows. Next level artist. My hair has never felt better with using the Davines brand her salon carries and I can not wait for their new upcoming personal branded line coming soon! Amazing.

Excellent staff with great skill! I’ve had hair cuts/dyes with Megan and also been to their nail tech. Angie is a great owner and very friendly. The product line is ... I never thought I would be a person with an opinion about a product line, but cruelty free and doesn’t strip your hair? I couldn’t be happier.

Sean is my go-to girl. I always leave with flawless color and she doesn’t cut off more of my hair than I ask for. Love the atmosphere and the endless coffee, and Sean uses great products. 10 stars but I can only leave 5.

This place is a gem! The parking was a little tricky, I ended up parking on a residential street, no biggie. Entering the salon it is full of wonderful things to look at, and I am pretty sure my stylist said the owner and her husband built all of the cabinets and decorated! It is lovely! The owner was actually in Greece at the time, will have to meet her sometime! Justin was my stylist and he was fantastic, my hair was overgrown and needed color badly! He did a partial highlight and chopped my hair off, it turned out perfect! For that I paid around $150, which was a little more steep than I had hoped, but the overall experience was well worth it! VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!

This place is great, and Justin is awesome. I avoided salons for years because of some bad experiences with hairdressers not listening to me and pushing weirdly awkward conversations. This place is comfortable and relaxing, and Justin listened carefully to what I said I wanted (cut and highlights) and did exactly what I was hoping for. And while he did it we had delightful conversations about food ethics and mycology. Hes now my favorite hairdresser, and I just hope he stays. Forever.

I got my first haircut at this local salon recently and I was very impressed! I had an appointment, arrived a little early, and didnt have to wait at all. Mara gave me a deluxe cut (includes shampoo) and I was blown away! My hair was grown out and what I call tired and frumpy. After Mara cut my hair, I looked younger and fresh. She asked all the right questions to address my hair type and what I wanted. Mara also gave me tips and options on controlling my frizzy, curly hair. Customer service was great as well. Everyone in the salon seemed to be enjoying their day. I parked in the street without any issues. I will definitely be back in the future!

I went to Autumn for a massage today. Its a hidden gem!! She is all about working with your body to not only relax you but empower you to relieve your pain. She is prompt, polite and the best massage Ive ever had. I loved the vibe of the salon upstairs too. Original decor and whole place was clean. I really urge anyone to try it out!!

Every time I’m on high street I always pass this salon wondering how cute it looks on the inside. After following them on social media I was determined to get my next hair there. I hadn’t gotten my hair cuts in over a year, just because it isn’t something I like to deal with because it is a lot of hair. Sean made my hair something I want to take care of and brought me out of introverted shell while cutting it as well! I didn’t even have to tell her about my hair she could tell after putting her hands through it what I needed. After the cut, I couldn’t stop touching it and it smelled amazing. I will definitely be returning and hopefully have found my go to salon!

I went to get my nails done and the nail tech, Lauren, was so kind and easy to talk to. I was hoping for a relaxing experience and did not expect nice conversation along with it, exceeded expectations and my nails looked great! Will definitely be back!

Make an appointment with April... she’s amazing and is a true artist... this coming from a guy with simple, short hair. She truly knows the craft: scientific, attention to detail, thoughtful, informative. I can’t recommend to a higher degree.

I find the new space to be urban chic, stylish and comfortable. I see stylist Jessica Broadwater who I find incredibly talented and intentional with her work. I feel like she approaches each visit as a project with a true consultation to discover what Im looking for and is also willing to share her professional opinion (I love that!). Aside from her talents, I always find her welcoming, and kind hearted in her approach and energy. I have happily recommended her to friends and look forward to my appointments! Im so glad to have this salon in town!

Justin has cut my hair before, and he did an excellent job. He was very precise to comb each section and trim at just the right angle for the layered cut I wanted, it turned out very nice. Could not have been better.

I went to Jekyll & Hyde Salon for the first time today. My stylist was Ashley and she did a great job on my hair. She did a scalp massage with my shampoo..very nice. The cut is exactly what I wanted. Ashley is very friendly!Parking is a little hinky...there us parking in the back or across the street by the Subway shop.

My experience with Jaina was very good. She is personable and friendly and cut my hair into a very nice shape. I may be going back soon to have my hair cut very short from shoulder length!

1st time checking this place out & Ill be back. Bridgette did my pedicure & just an hour later Ive gotten 2 compliments on my toes! She made the morning fun & relaxing. If your toes need some lovin let Bridgette do the scrubbin.

I got a gel mani from Bidgette on a Saturday (shellac Sat special!) and it looked great! Good service, cool space and friendly workers. Definitely going back.

This lady came up to me and my friend and told us to “keep it down” and her coworker congratulated her on telling us to keep down. she claimed she couldn’t hear her client but they weren’t even talking. everyone looked at us and it’s the mood after that was very awkward and we were uncomfortable to talk to each other at all. would have got up and left if i could.

I love this salon. I normally go to Jaina for hair and Mara for brow waxes and they are both spectacular. Jaina always reads my mind with my color and Mara helps me not look like a hot mess.

Just wanted a trim and to bring up my balayage i got from my old salon in WI maybe7/8 months ago and it didnt go as planned...ended up looking choppy and SUPER bright blonde (I have medium brown hair) and he had to re-tone it twice after that to just get it to look close to the hue I still had from my last balayage. I felt like a zebra with it originally being so blonde there was not a lot of blending . Now it just kinda looks like I havent given my roots any attention from an old dye job, but was better than it originally came out. Justin was very nice and tried to make sure I was happy- I just dont think he initially listened to what i wanted out of my balayage appointment and I wasnt impressed with his balyayage technique. However, he was very accommodating in trying to help get the color to something more like I requested. I was there for almost 4 hours... dont think Ill be going back..

Bummed. I called, no answer. Walked in, was told to book appointment online. Booked an appointment online for the following day for 2:15. Got there on time and i was told that i would need to come back later in the day so we settled on 4:30. Came back in and saw the stylist just starting to wash someones hair. After sitting there for half an hour waiting without being spoken to once, i finally just decided to leave. I was disappointed that nobody called or texted me, they had my number on file. This was a few days ago and they still havent reached out. Theres a lot of other competition on High St. right in this area, so i guess ill take my business elsewhere.
