I was on the fence about coming to this nail salon because of the reviews but I’m glad I actually did. Customer service was awesome! My pedicure was absolutely amazing. I like the fact that kids under 10 are not allowed. It’s peaceful. No kids crying and running around. Definitely appreciate that. Definitely will be a regular customer.

Love my eye lashes. I told her I wanted my lashes to look natural and she did that. My new lash technician.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! They are very rude and unprofessional. They close at 7pm and I walked in at 6:20pm and they denied me service because it’s “too close to closing time”. The lady who does the eyebrows is very nice but her husband is making them lose business and causing them to have a bad reputation. He is very rude. They have horrible customer service.

My original fill in appointment was at 6pm however I called to see if I could get an earlier appointment which I was able to get. I say in my vehicle for over 30 minutes to avoid driving all the way back home. The lady checked my temperature and it was 100.1, so I explained to her my temperature was just checked prior to getting my hair braided and she said oh okay sit down for a minute. I sat down for literally 10 seconds and she checked my temperature again and it was 100.0. Come sense if someone was sitting in their car and they walk in a business from sitting in a vehicle into a building it would be a raised temperature. If I could rate this a negative I would. Very unhappy. Never again. I’ll travel back to my hometown from here on out.

I have been going to the shop for the last 7 years and I have never had a problem dinner and I have had several different issues that I have brought to them including one toll having no nail and they were very caring careful and clean. I recommend the shop to any body its 1 of the best pedicure is I have ever had. Vanessa was my favorite however the new owner and his wife will get my business anytime

Ive been coming to Nail Screts for over 10 years. I wont let anyone else touch my lashes or eyebrows. Mimi and Ron are great!! If they ever left Idk what i would do. I told Mimi if she moves Im going too because I cant be without my lashes!!

I dont know if my nails getting weak or the super glue they use getting weaker or the acrylic that they use getting weaker but two Nails popped off within two days the rest of them followed very soon after wasnt hard to get the rest of them off..

STAY AWAY! BETTER NAIL SHOPS ELSEWHERE.At first I liked coming here...always did a decent job on my feet then I started to get my nails done. This is where the trouble ensued. First of all every time I came in I got charged a different price for the same service, which was usually a fill, occasionally a cut down. I work for an optician and sometimes have to use chemicals on the glasses to remove certain markings, so instead of getting regular nail polish (which the chemical just ate at) I decided to try gel polish. The first time my nails turned a completely different color (I had a natural pink by the time I came back they were black/grey), which I complained about once back, but of course they just told me it was my fault (using different lotions and such, products for doing my hair, etc). So I decided to try a darker gel color (burgundy) & see if it was my fault. BS. The color didnt even last a week before both my thumb nails had completely peeled off. I came back to get it fixed & had to wait well over an hour, in which they didnt take off the color all the way just tried to fix the top where the polish was missing. Of course after this it started to peel again! I tried to come back and they had a sign up saying they were closing at 6 (I got there at 5:35), the doors were already locked and I had to walk around with my nails looking ridiculous because of their lackluster service. I dont understand how they stay so busy when they clearly dont care about their customers. Will never go back or recommend this place to anyone.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I will NEVER EVER go to that place to even use the restroom. They have very lazy workers. They are also rude. I forgot to mention that they are a nail salon but dont know how to shape nails.

You will not be greeted when you enter or informed of any services. You wait almost an hour before the line moves to see how many people ahead of you and when getting eyebrows waxed,be careful! She took a picture to see if she went too high instead of just looking directly at my face then said it looks fine to her and its past 7:00, so I dont have time to go anywhere else. Wtw! No CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AT ALL!

My experience at nail secrets are so good me- me does a really great job. Especially on eyebrows, I would recommend this place for new customers who are looking for these services . Also I think that eyebrows can be a little cheaper like$5.00 instead of $8.00!

I have never been spoken to the way i was spoken to today! Especially by a business owner that Ive been a patron of for 20 years. Apparently the owner was short staffed and feeling overwhelmed, so when I called to put my name on the call ahead list, he was really short and hung up in my face. I went by the nail salon and and asked how long is the wait and he SNAPPED!!!! He said I already told you over the phone!. He was yelling at me in front of other customers. I never raised my voice. I told him Ive been coming here for 20 years and this is how you treat your loyal customers?. He says i dont care how long youve been coming here, if you dont like it, go somewhere else! LEAVE!20 years. Im beyond hurt. Ive had so many tell me how this is one of the worst nail salons theyve been to and Ive always taken up for them. I wont be returning.

The worst place EVER!!! I walked into the establishment and no said hello or anything signed in for just a eyebrow wax service and I waited over an 1 hr only for the lady to skip me and go to another client who came in after me. I had been going to this nail salon since middle school! Over 13 years! Loved ALL of the previous owners, especially Jen and her husband. I even babysat their little girl a few times. Unfortunately, the current owners are just rude. I don’t even know their names. They’ve been at this location since Jen left, for a couple of years now. Tried to hang in there.. but the male owner is just HORRIBLE when it comes to customer service. I didnt care for how he spoke to customers, or how unhappy his employees seemed. I definitely didn’t appreciate how certain customers were greeted more professionally than others. There were days I would walk in, and not be greeted at all. Also, the prices seemed to flunctuate and increase way too often once the current owners took over. He definitely is all about getting his money, which I wouldn’t mind if the service was up to par. It got so bad I just gave up on my favorite place to get my nails done a few months ago. I probably won’t ever return unless I see Jen and her husband have taken back over which is unlikely.

Got my nails done sat w. GEL polish. Yesterday it started chipping. Called them today in regards to fixing it, they stated Id have to pay bc its my fault it chipped. Ive never had such bad customer service nor have I ever had GEL polish chip as long as Ive been getting it. DO NOT GO TO THEM GO ELSEWHERE.

This is by far the worst nail salon in Columbia I went in for a eyebrow wax/fill. I waited for over an hour so I decided I could only stay for the eyebrow wax and did not have time for a fill in. When I finally got to the eyebrow chair the tech by the name of Meme was very RUDE to me!! She told me I messed up her schedule because I decided not to get a fill in...REALLY how can you tell a customer something like that!! Not only that she did an awful job on my eyebrows and was nasty to me the whole time! I made it clear to her that will not longer come to this salon anymore...her response was well!! I would not recommend this salon to anyone...RUN. They act like they are the only salon and in Columbia, for it to be a salon on just about every corner of Columbia they should fix their customer service. I will just drive less than half a mile down the rd to Rose Nails.

This is the SLOWEST nail salon I have ever been to. Only one person wax brows and you have to wait allll day. Its ridiculous how slow they are. You would think they would hire more people. Smh..

They suck. They won’t serve you after 6:00 even though their hours are until 7:00. They won’t even do eyebrows which takes 5 minutes to do. Very lazy workers.
