Lucy did me right! Shape was clean and her service was amazing

This is the only place I go to get my nails done. I show them exactly what I want and they never disappoint. I like to get long nails with designs and they always come out perfect. The people there are friendly and professional. It’s a comforting and clean place to go.

Lucy is the best nail tech! She does an amazing job on my dip full set and is so friendly. I have been coming to her for almost 3 years and my nails have grown so much! Ask for Lucy when you go! Definitely recommend.

On June 19 I waited 45 mins for Lucy to tell me nobody could do my nails because they are to busy and could I come Monday while giggling with the other employees. And she told my relative that I referred to her that she made me wait and could not do my nails while laughing. This is unprofessional and I will NEVER EVER walk in this shop again!!!!! Ive been a client for over 2 years before Lucy even worked there even got nails done during panademic to turn around and wait for almost an hour with no service.

My pedicure was rushed with no attention to detail. There was no attempt to make it the experience of relaxation that I paid to receive. Wont go back.

I love Polished! I have been going here for about a year now. Theyre all good and accommodate to your needs. My daughter also likes to tag along and get her nails done. They always assure that she is comfortable!

Absolutely does not get better than Polished. Lucy, the owner, is INCREDIBLE! she and her staff are amazing. I recommend Polished to all of my friends, and I truly believe they are the best salon in the state of South Carolina. I look forward to my appointments every month and will be a life long polished customer! 10/10, 5 stars, the best!!

They made excuses as to why they couldn’t paint my entire nail out to the edges. They were uneven and rough. The manager just made more excuses as to why her nail tech did what she did. The manager filed them evenly but did nothing to fix the poor paint quality. My toes look decent though. Also, they have no floor I don’t know what’s up with that.

On 6-19-21 Kim gave me a botched up pedicure. The botched was masked over with t he hot wax treatment I received.I returned to the salon to complain on 6-21- 21. The reception brushed it off with the offer of a 10% off on my next visit. There will not be a next visit.

Will definitely go back. Bennie dud a hood job on both hands and feet snd took his time and explained what he was doing.

Been going since before Christmas and I have kept going ever since. I used to go to posh but they were always so thick and when I asked for a design I told what I wanted and it was a disaster. So I went to polished and they do an AMAZING job! I would highly recommend going always so nice and friendly and very clean and professional!

Lucy is the best. My nails last for weeks and look great the whole time in between visits. I will not go any where else.

Yesterday, I followed my girlfriend to this store. At first, I didnt like going to places like this because it was boring. But when I arrived, the staff was very happy and served me enthusiastically even though I just followed, especially the very funny boss that made me forget the feeling of boredom and I started liking it. with my girlfriend going to places like this

Every time (no matter who does my nails) its always an amazing experience! I pick my natural nails real bad and they never judge and fix them right up!

I love getting my nails and pedicure done. Since Lucy bought it there is no more waiting and it’s clean. Everyone is friendly and helpful. In short it is a pleasant and fun place to relax and forget about the world for an hour or so. Hannah does an amazing job on my nails and eyelashes.

Lucy is my fav! Although all of the people that work here are great. I love the atmosphere, everyone is nice and they take time to do your nails & feet while providing great service. I have been going to Lucy for a long time now and I love my nails everytime! Quality & great service!

This is a wonderful place. The staff was polite and made sure that my daughter and I were comfortable. The music was relaxing and the decor was very soothing. The prices are very reasonable and the service given is worth the price. We are definitely making this our nail salon.

They did very good on my nails ! Beyond satisfied ! However paying $120 for eye lash Extentions just for them to be falling off the next day ! They fix with no problem but a couple of days later line whole eye is gone again ! My eye lash strips last longer than that! Will not recommend paying all that money just to wear them for a couple of days !

I paid $48 for a polish change today on my toes. That’s it. My feet did not even touch water. No scrubbing. No massage. Gel polish on my toes. $48. I will never ever ever go back. That’s insane!

This was my first and last time at this location. I did not think the place looked organized. I was greeted when I walked in. I felt the price for Dip was too high. I came from Georgia and I paid $15 less but received better customer service and quality of the nail art. I was very disappointed. A couple of my nails looked lumpy. I also asked the nail tech to push my cuticle back and she refused. I did not have a good experience.

I moved here a few months ago for college and I’ve had trouble finding a good salon. I tried them out and every employee I spoke with was really nice. The man who did my nails was precise and gentle.

Ive been trying to find a place that can do my nails exactly the way that I want and that are perfect and what they do and this is definitely the place I have looked and looked and looked this is the only place that did them perfectly this will be my forever nail salon!!! Thank you Lucy!!!!

I went there yesterday for the first time and received a fill in. I showed the technician the design I wanted and she did it perfectly. She was also very personable. The best my nails have been done since moving to Columbia last year!

Would give this horrible excuse for a business no stars if I could. Walked in today at 5:28 and asked how long the wait was I was told 20 minutes. By 6:30 when customers who came in after me were leaving without appointments I walked out. What makes it worse is I could literally hear the women cackle as if wasting a patrons time was comical. They were busy which seemed promising if people were willing to wait they must do good work. Unfortunately there is no regard for your time or respect for you period so I will spend my money elsewhere.

If I could give no star I would. This was my first time at this salon and as normal I signed the book and told them the services that I needed. At first it seemed as though they were moving quickly to get me serviced. They started the water for my feet and got me in the chair. My feet were in the water for about 30 minutes until I was serviced. I asked them to do an acrylic take down and gel manicure. They told me after I was seated then that would take 45 minutes to an hour, instead of letting me know before I was seated for the pedicure. As I was sitting I realized that everybody else that was coming through the door was getting immediate service and I was not serviced yet for my acrylic take off. The lady finally came and asked me about my nails but the owner told her to start on someone else and again I waited but I decided to leave. I understand that those people that came in after me may have had an appointment but I am 100% sure that all of them did it and they all got feet done and moved onto their hands. It’s like they were more concerned with their regulars then walkins. Needless to say I will never come back to this nail salon for their poor customer service.

I did not have a great experience last night. The nail technician placed tips on my hands and each tip separated from my finger nails before she applied the gel powder: this caused a gap between the nail bed and tip. I explained to her that I was afraid a fungus could develop if water became trapped between my natural nail and the tip. She insisted once my nails grow out, in two weeks, we will address the gap. I didn’t know that it took more than two weeks for a fungus to form. I have never experienced this type of experience. If I am paying for a service, I should be satisfied with the services provided. I will NEVER go back.

This place is my fave! I’ve been coming here since 2012 & even after I moved I still come back when I visit... Miss May is the sweetest & so detail oriented! Diem is great too! I would give them 10 stars if I could!!

I was very disappointed with my visit here. The technician did not push my cuticles on my hands or feet. The water used to my soak my cuticles in was cold, not even room temperature. I think having warm water to soak your cuticles is a normal standard and shouldn’t have to be a special request.I had to request to have my cuticles pushed and for her to file my nails. She was very hesitant to trim my cuticles on my hands after I asked her to do so, despite them looking very bad. No UV light was used during the drying process. Polished has started to chip after two days already.There was absolutely no time taken to fine tune the job being done. She was very rushed from the beginning of the job. I didn’t bother asking her to change what she was doing later on, because when I did, the job wasn’t done well.

Annalise is the best. My feet havent felt this good in a long time. Pretty too. She does plain like I have but I have also seen some very fancy toes walk away from her seat.

When ever I get my nails done I go to polished. They have nice people working there to. They have a great select of nail Polish, gel too and you can also get acrylic. They do my nail great and they last at least 1 month. This I an amazing place and the people that have high expectations of an nail salon you are not going to find a good nail place. Polished is the best you can do and there amazing. And they should have a high rate then 3.7.

My mom is 98 and they do an excellent job with her. I enjoy going there they do great with my toes also.

I adore this place. The inside is beautiful. I go to the same person and hes amazing, very detail oriented. He looks over my nails several times to make sure they are perfect. I highly recommend Posh.

My daughter was giving gift certificate for her birthday. She was treated like crap. I guess BLACKS NOT ALLOWED THERE FROM THE QUESTION SHE WERE ASK IS SHE LOST? I will tell everyone I know Co workers etc. Never take their business there and her service were HORRIBLE nails got polished heavily just RUINED HER ENTIRE BY COMING TO POLISHED

I love going in for the express pedicure except theres nothing express about it! The massage chairs take these old bones to another place. Many of the nail techs are hit or miss BUT Yim is the absolute best! Her attention to detail really is amazing. Its the best money i spent all week!

I went to get a full set with gel polish ans I love the quality of work...BUTTTTT them my nail literally started snapping off. I opening the door at a store and my nail came off. This is the third nail to just snap off with my force or anything. I don’t know if they are using cheap products or what. But I won’t be going back.

Love this place! It’s extremely relaxing, and the staff who works there are very skilled and extremely friendly. Excited to come back for conditioned nail care.

First time coming and my last time coming. Only rating 3/5 because my nail color is pretty but would give it a 2/5! I typically go to another nail salon but since I’m new to the area I decided to check out other nail salons to find what I like. Also they use Dollar Tree/General store brand nail polish. Very cheap and they thin out their polish so it’s lowering their quality. Well this place had me sold because the dip powder was only $45 and most salons would have been $60. When I first arrived with a friend, they separated us two and had little to no conversation with her. Once I was sat down I was moved FOUR times! The lady said that another person would do my nails. So I moved. Then she moved me back to my original seat and the girl who originally told me that someone else would do my nails I figured maybe she didn’t know how to do dip. Nope! She took in ANOTHER customer as I waited 15-20 mins with my nails soaked in acid tone! This was getting irritated but I shrugged it off. They told me they had to soak it a good while bc they do not have proper tools. She bent my nail to show me that my nails are not “strong” but that’s because it was soaked in acid tone for ~20mins! What did she expect?! Both nail techs were talking about me in their native language as the tech pointed to my nails and laughed! At the end she didn’t cut down my nails like I had asked and only filed them. My nails were left uneven! Now I have to find someone to fix her mess! They seem friendly but love to talk about you in their native tongue!

I am always so pleased with my experience at Polished! I have been going there for several years now and always feel like I am an important customer. They always greet you at the door and try to get you taken care of as quickly as possible. I would highly recommend this nail salon!!!

While this nail salon has many good qualities, customer service and management of clients are not one of them. I was told it would be 10 minutes for the next technician to assist me with a mani and pedi. I sat for almost 45 minutes in the chair while the water run for me went cold. Invisible to everyone there including the receptionist who sat me in the chair. I finally left and probably would have continued to be passed over unless I yelled or waved my arms like a mad person. Just completely forgotten. Disappointed. Time I cannot got back.

My mom and I went in for polish changes on our toes. We were told the wait would be 40-45 minutes, so we put our names on the list and ran an errand, returning within 40 minutes. After an hour and a half wait total with people coming in after us and being helped, no one said a word to us even though we were seated in pedicure chairs waiting. Unbelievable. We left without being helped after a huge waste of time. If they were booked up with appointments, they should have told us that so we could have gone elsewhere.

Super friendly staff, very attentive, excellent atmosphere and color selection. My nail polish hasn’t budged!

I have my nails done regularly and have never had a problem. The staff is very friendly. The salon is clean and, unlike other salons where you smell the chemicals, this one had no pungent odors.Good service and reasonable prices.

Amazing place! Very welcoming and friendly. I dropped in 30 minutes before closing, no appt and with a girl fresh out of boot camp, so she had some wickedly gnarly looking nails! I would drop my nail tech and switch to here if I lived in SC!

Fantastic nail salon!!! Small space but very efficient and the techs are all super friendly.... 1st time there got gr8 service and had to return. My polish stayed on both on my toes n fingers for 3wks w/o a chip very very impressive. Top notch for sure

$50 for a pedicure is crazy. Never paid that here before. When asked to see price list the manager act like she didnt know the price. I paid a different price for same pedicure last time. I dont like to feel like Im being cheated and this is how I felt this time. I will not be returning back. Also tip $5 as well. Felt like I was being scammed. I heard the lady say $45 earlier as well. Smh

My first visit and it was awful. Visiting from out of state, I happened on the shop, went in and it seemed inviting. They have a great selection and wonderful accommodations, but the technician was the worst, I dont believe he had experience or possibly inept. I was very dissatisfied with outcome of both the pedicure and gel manicure, and spent $60.

I have had my nails done all over Columbia - but since I started going to Polish almost 2 years ago. I do not go anywhere else. I have some favorites - but every technician I have had has been very professional and done a great job.

I wish I could give zero stars. Worst experience Ive had in a long time at a nail salon. I came from out of town and was hoping to walk in and get a fill in.didnt happen. The staff was very rude, their nail polish selection was poor (all their polish was old and chunky), and I was quoted a ten minute wait but because regulars kept walking in I was pushed to the end of the line and ended up walking out after thirty minutes. 0/10 would recommend.

I had a young guy do gel tips with a French manicure. Id never had my nails done before and I feel like it was a good experience. The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because the guy barely spoke to me despite my efforts at a conversation, there were a few painful moments, and because the prices are slightly higher than other places. But overall, I would recommend this place!

I went here a few weeks back (mid July) and the lady that did my nails did an AMAZING job!!! I asked for a specific shape, arch, look and she EVERYthing perfectly!!!

Cant give half a star. I went last week because my usual nail salon was packed and I was on a time conatraint. It was busy but I only had to wait 10 minutes. The technician was moving very fast which at first I appreciated because I was in a hurry. I kept noticing she was missing spots filing uneven the acrylic didnt reach all parts of the nail and everytime I pointed out something she said she wasnt done yet. I got a gel fill and the gel polish clear was extra, that is new to me it comes with fill. Needless to say I left with a fill that looked horrible. I planned to go back to get them fixed but just decided to post and never go there again.

Definitely check their book for prices. I was overcharged twice for services here. My daughter is 7. I wanted Princess Mani and Pedi for her. Told the technician twice my daughter was 7. She tried to charge me for adult mani and pedi for her. Saying my daughter was big for her age. I havent been very happy with the customer service Iately. Hopefully every technician should be aware of prices and not overcharge customers.

Worst experience at a nail salon, and that is saying a lot. We made an appointment (which clearly means nothing) as they repeatedly tried to put my friend and me in chairs far away from each other. We both got mani/pedis, and they flew through both. The pedicures were done in record time (literally faster than I could do it myself). There was a line of people waiting so I am sure they were trying to hustle us through. Manicures were just as fast, with multiple nicks and drawn blood. I have blood under the polish on one nail where she destroyed my cuticle. All in all, way overpriced for the awful service and atmosphere. Was hoping for a relaxing girls day and instead got rude treatment and overpriced services. Same prices as Occo- will just go there in the future as the people are nicer and the service is much better.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR THE SECOND TIME! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Unprofessional and total disregard and disrespect for your time!First time we tried this salon was for a bridal party. We called a month in advance and made appointments for 1pm to have manis/pedis. They didnt begin our services until almost 2:30pm!! This was very unfortunate as this was the day before the wedding and anyone who has planned a wedding should know your time is precious as you have rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, etc. Secondly - the manager and nail technicians were unapologetic.We decided to give this salon another try on this past Saturday for Mothers Day because at least it is a clean salon (were very big on that)...BIG MISTAKE!!! They told us it would 20-30 mins wait, but it took over an hour and they hadnt even started our party. We decided to leave! This salon has poor time management given they were over an hour late when we had appointments and even when we did not.

I’m relatively new to the Columbia area and I’ve been trying to find a good nail spa. In my 20+ years of getting manicures and pedicures, this was the WORSE experience Ive ever had. This was my second visit to Polished Nails and will be my last. Granted, the first visit was slightly better than the second; even though there were a few nicks and my nails were cut a little too short on my feet and hands, the first lady did clean my cuticles well. The second time, Ann did a horrible job! She rushed through the pedicure so fast, it made my head spin. I knew it wasn’t going to be a good one. Then when she finished my pedicure she told me she didn’t have time to give me a manicure and I’ll have to come back. This was after I had been told on the phone prior to coming and when I walked in the spa that they had time to do both. I give the owner credit, he did discount the pedicure for my inconvenience of having to come back. However, my cuticles looked as if they had never been worked on and my feet weren’t as smooth as I’m accustomed to. I went back for my mani the next day. Afterward, since I was so disappointed with my pedi I decided to talk to Ann about a redo. She told me she couldn’t give me a free redo but she would discount it and ask me to come back another day because that was the Thursday before Good Friday and she was too busy. I accepted the discount offer and agreed to come back. Needless to say she didn’t keep her word. When I called to schedule my pedi she said she couldn’t give me a discount because the owner had already given me a discount on the first pedi I received. Trying to reason with her was like trying to reason with a rock. I told her the owner gave me that discount because of the inconvenience of having to come back for my mani; not because of her poor service. I was unable to reason with her and then she got rude. She told me she wasn’t going to give me a discount, she didn’t want to provide me any service and if I wanted to come back to Polished Nails, I needed to go to someone else. The biggest problem I have with this, is the fact she lied and didn’t keep her word. I’m a strong believer that my word is my bond and I expect the same out of others. If I can’t trust in what you tell me, I don’t need to do business with you. I would never recommend this place or come back here again. If I could give them a zero, I would.

TERIBBLE SERVICE . The lady got mad at me and told me to leave and left the fake nails on my nails . She clipped and just pushed my hand away and told me to leave . They have the worst customer service and I will not be returning . I advise you to not go to this nail shop !! All I wanted was my nails to be all even and they werent so once I told her they were t even she got mad !!!

Went on Friday April 27 it was the worst service I had at Polish the men work at Polish done a better job.I will never had her again. It should be a half star.

Worst pedicure Ive ever gotten. They literally ripped my cuticles out and my big toes got infected and ingrown. Will never go back
