Love this nail salon!.. There are many out there but few that get it right!. Tiffany does an amazing job and she is always friendly which makes a big difference.. It is a family run facility and the owner is also friendly and you feel comfortable there no matter what race you are.. The quality of their supplies and the environment seals the deal and makes it truly a great experience all in all.. I highly recommend them..

Soon as my friend and I walked into the salon we were greeted at the door. As I walked in I notice a sign wasnt up. My friend made the statement oh they took their pricing sign down. I let them know I wanted a fill in with acrylic with gel polish and a reg toe nail polish change, thats it. The serivce was good. We where finished in no time. The problem was when it was time to pay. The young guy at the registers stated $72. I asked him what did I get for $72 and replied my services. But with gel fillin. I told i said acrylic with gel polish. He stated the reg toe polish change was $22 and my fill in was $50. I let them know that was ridiculous and paid what was owed and will never return again.

I really like this salon and frequently visited. Unfortunately, I wont be returning because of the inconsistencies in their pricing. My nail tech is great at what she does but I dont like to feel slighted as a customer when the same services drastically change with each visit. And $60 for a polish change is ridiculous. My advice if you choose to patronize this nail salon pay your bill upfront and then get your service done.

Brought my daughter to this establishment to get her nails done for her 12th birthday. The experience was not good. Her nails looked like a home manicure instead of a professional one. She also felt very uncomfortable with the nail technician, she expressed to me that the lady was rushing to finish the job and that she wasnt really pleasant. And when it came to the design, instead of doing what was requested, a nail sticker was applied to her nails rather than the actual design. Need to say my daughter was extremely disappointed. This establishment could use some soft skill training, as well as training in creativity.

I don’t recommend this salon. I went to get a gel pedicure and regular manicure before my vacation. The pedicure was ok, however the manicure was terrible. It was an older lady, she didn’t even soak my hands or anything, she nipped at my cuticles and put on polish. I was like that’s it? The next day I was leaving for my vacation and polish on my fingernails was peeling off! I was so disappointed. I ended up just removing all the polish myself. If I wasn’t leaving I would’ve gone back and asked for a refund.

This is the second time Ive had services at this salon. The staff is cheerful and the atmosphere is relaxing. NGHI and Ms. LAM, were very helpful and accomodating. I look forward to seeing them again soon!!

I went to get a manicure with clear polish. Originally, I requested a manicure and pedicure. After seeing my nail service go downhill, I opted not to get a pedicure. Its evident that the manicurist missed my cuticles while using dull nippers, and my nails arent filed straight. She left to check on the laundry while I sat unattended which is unprofessional. What a waste of time and $20!

Great first experience. In and out in about an hour and they were open early on a Saturday which I appreciate. Andy did a great job on my nails!

I had a pedicure and a full set on Oct 2nd. I was hopeful as the reviews seem great!! Pedicure was fine and then I had my full set placed, not sure of the ladys name but if you walk straight in last chair to the left is where I sat. She didnt rush, it was okay but once i got to my car i noticed that my thumb nail was about 1/2 off my nail bed. I immediately went back in and the owner fixed it with no issues. I wish she would have done my entire set. Her work was great, since leaving I noticed my pinky on my left hand is completely crooked and I have glue all over my hands and nails and some of the gel is even stuck on my cuticles and my nails are different in thickness. If you go there make an apt with the owner!!!

The staff is very unorganized and unskilled and they tried to charge me $60. They only soaked my gel off and I asked to get gel nails again and the lady was putting acrylic i stopped her and let her know I would pay $25 this lady got upset started pulling on me and locked me in there then called the police on me like I was trying not to pay of course the police saw her in the wrong due to how I was raised I chose not to press charges because she was elderly and the receptionist in there is young and had no intelligence whatsoever she kept talking but I ignored because at that point she was irrelevant I guess they thought I was gone leave when police were called before they arrived so they could try and change their story she had the audacity to ask the police to ask if I was gone pay $60 that wasn’t happening and she said she would take me to civil court so since I chose not to press charges I will file a counter suit for emotional/traumatic experience they make the spa experience a negative atmosphere and it is not a black owned business they should be shut down or find new staff! I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone at all! Worst experience ever at this place plus they are unskilled

So I came to visit here to Columbia Sc and asked this nice lady if she could recommend a nail salon to us. She gave us this place where her sister comes to. It looks nice in here, however when I asked the person who was doing my feet to do my toes correctly and of course he tells me not to worry he got me!!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 he didnt do anything and when I asked him to fix it right he kept telling me he got it!!!! I am very appalled on their service of how they trying to tell you what you want done like they paying you to get your feet done!!!!! Me personally I would not recommend this place!!!! I wait to get back to my state to get my manicure done!!!!!!😡🤬😡🤬

I have been seen over the years by each technician each experienced abs have their own way doing things.I love watching the way they work, communicate, and its a powerful environment if you pay close attention.Yes, they can be direct, depending of the customer. But they are respectful and mindfulMost are family with in the business. (It is a business though)I would recommend Thile absolutely. Good place, great people.

This place is always so clean and the staff is very professional and courteous. I love this nail salon and i stopped getting any nail services done until they opened back up during this pandemic. They are also taking every precaution to keep the staff as well as customers safe and healthy during this time. I just absolutely love it

Hey there, Ms.Anna was sweet but left me bleeding and the shape was not what I asked. I keep telling her but I guess she didnt understand me. It was my first time here. Dont think it was worth $55

I’ve been here a few times. The guy at the front is very quiet but it almost comes off as being rude. He never looks happy. Never. The lady who did my pedicure today was really sweet and gave me the 65 dollars worth for the deluxe pedicure. However, she did a terrible job painting my toes. I asked her to redo them. She actually used her thumb which was rather long and honestly a little dirty underneath to remove excess polish. I had to request her to use a tool, a brush, or something. But she was sweet and cared for my feet though. I did not pay the full 65 for my pedicure.

The nail tech was great but what I didn’t like was they charged me twice because of a system issue and when the charge came through I went back to get a refund and their son wanted to argue and I guess he felt he was educating me who worked for a credit union for 5yrs how a final transaction will magically reverse! Was not happy I had to argue with son to get refund!

Atmosphere is nice, I’m always welcomed by the receptionist and asked if I would like a beverage. I think the service is really well but like most nail shops, it varies based on who the nail technician is. Some pay more attention to detail than others. Thile does a wonderful job. The cost is a little higher than other places but I find my acrylic full sets and even gel polish last a bit longer than if I were to go elsewhere.

This was THE WORST experience that I have ever had in a nail salon the guy at the front desk was sooo rude and the quality is terrible,I hate that I even tried rhis place

I must say this was the worse experience I ever had with a nail salon! From the time I walked in I was not greeted I was just asked what service I wanted and then was told to go wash my hands. I asked the guy for a price list I was told they didn’t have one. I was told one price at the beginning and when it was time to pay it was higher. They can charge you any amount because they don’t have a price list.The service I received from them was very poor! I don’t recommend them at all take your money somewhere else!

Since moving to Columbia, I have jumped around to multiple nail salons trying to find my go-to salon. Well, I found Thile and will go nowhere else. I’ll be honest and reluctantly admit I have wonky toes, and before coming here, many nail techs were SO rough. However, I go to Nguyen, and he is the most gentle and thorough nail tech I have ever had. My nails always come out gorgeous!As for the salon, it is clean, relaxing, and very well-kept. The front desk is always kind and accommodating! They offer suggestions or ideas if you want them.Needless to say, I will continue to come here because everything they do/have done has been nothing short of outstanding!

I paid 150 dollars to get my nails and feet done for both me and my husband. The next door my nail broke so I came in to ask if they can kinda fix it. The answer I got was 8 dollars. Wrong answer. I’m license myself even tho I’m in the military. I just like having others do my nails but only correctly. I’ll take my money else where. It’s sad cause I was a loyal customer. But they put me in a bad spot trying to get my nail redone before my trip plus for them to try to charge me for something they caused. Now I find another nail salon

They were nice and friendly at the door! The young lady that did my pedicure really took her time and made sure I was satisfied with her work even though I didn’t ask for much but a French tip. She also did an amazing job on my eyebrows! Definitely will be going back when I can!

I called first to make sure Covid-19 precautions were being taken to ensure customers and employees health was not at risk. The front desk person was very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. The nail tech was very nice and did a great job and took special care of me and my leg(in a brace). This is my new nail care home.

This is my second time coming into town nail bar even though their nails last very long I really wasnt too impressed by how the lady shaped my nails but they were not badly shaped next time I will be trying another nail artist there

Had a manicure with gel polish 4 days ago and gel polish is already chipping. Gel made my nails really brittle and they all broke off. Never get the gel again.

Came in for a gel mani & pedi. The “receptionist” goes over to who I later find out is the owner and tells her what I need. As he is talking to her, she TURNS TO THE SIDE AND HIDES HER FACE! As if I can’t see her! The receptionist walks back over to me and tells me that “she doesn’t do that”! I proceed to tell him that I can go somewhere else and he has the AUDACITY to tell me “you can”. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! How are you a nail shop and you don’t do simple nail services?!

I went in for a pedicure. My son gave me a gift card fir my birthday. He could not remember the amount so he searched his account and found the amount. I was told they could not take the card because they had a new system. He screen shot the transaction from his bank. They agreeded on the amount. He asked the sales person how much should he do for a manicure and pedicure and that was the amount he purchased.I asked the tech how much was just a pedicure and was told 35 or 45. I only got a pedicure thinking I could come back for a 2nd service and add a lil to it. When I got to check out the cashier told me 65.00.So why I got conflicting info. Once he found out it was 75.00 on the card he changed the price. My first and last time. It was nothing extraordinary. I will go back to my usual spot since they want to play games. Try to support but they wont do right. They never offered me a drink. Not even water!!! Done, done!!!

Service was good. I was just concerned about the cleanliness of the establishment, due to Covid. I noticed the plexi glass shields had some dirt buildup on them. Also, the tech that took care of me did not change gloves after servicing the client before me. I had to suggest that they change gloves before starting my manicure. Just cant be too careful right now.

Thile Nail Bar is the absolutely best nail salon on the Northeast side in Columbia. The customer service is outstanding and always on point. The atmosphere is relaxing, clean, and positive energy. I would recommend them to my best friend and my worst enemy... 😁... Their just that Great!!!!

Tiffany helped me and she was very nice! The hostess was a young girl but she was very helpful as well. She patiently answered my questions and went back twice to make sure to give me right answer. I needed to leave in a hurry so they gave me a good estimate on how long it would take. I took the chance and still had to leave early, Tiffany was very understanding and told me I could come back in the next day to finish. I just left and I love my nails. I was surprised they didn’t do a manicure with the full set, no cuticle clean up but I imagine she gave me an express service because I told I need to leave in an hour. I highly recommend.

EXTREMELY RUDE, CONDESCENDING and will go in great lengths to argue with you and then make fun of you. The atmosphere is great. Looks really nice on the inside. I went it to get my nails done for my wedding, so obviously we were a little particular as to how we wanted our nails. Kim did a terrible job. My sisters nails looked like little round nubs with dust all over the manicure. The owner responded with nothing is perfect and just to deal with what they’ve done. Extremely rude and kept speaking in their language and laughing. I had to go someplace else to redo my nails 2 days before my wedding. I know the nice looking atmosphere is enticing and looks like a great place for bridal nails but if you don’t want added stress before your big day don’t go here. If you give bad customer service at least the quality of your work should be great but sadly it was horrible 🙁😢

First two times I went for a pedicure it was great. When I decided to get tips with dip powder with a specific design. I asked could they do the design they assured me it could be done. Bad tips and not able to do the design. I went back next day to correct what I paid for and didnt get. The staff was rude and clearly didnt want to be bothered. Two days after that two nails broke. Go figure!! Decided I would give them another chance on my Anniversary so me and my husband could get a couple pedicure. Waited to get back then once we got in the water no one came to start our pedis. We left!!!!. Although the place is extremely pretty inside. DO NOT waste your money. Customer service is horrible!!!!!!!

This was my first time in this salon and the service was excellent!! The young man that performed my service was very attentive and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. He wasn’t rough with my hands or the drill. I will definitely go back and recommend this salon to others.

In the beginning when this place opened it was very nice (the people). But over time its seemed as if they dont appreciate their customers anymore and are there for just the money. Very rude and you can tell that they talk about you in their language (they should be aware that anyone could know the same language theyre speaking). Not only that I noticed they got rid of the very nice and friendly tall black lady that worked there. Lets just say by the attitude of Thile I wont be taking my business there anymore.

Place looked nice, went in with my friend and didnt like my Pedicure. Im also a Nail Tech and I received a pedicure because my friend wanted to get one. The lady scrub my feet, scrubbed off the skin on the side of my foot and let me tell you, that hurt so bad. My big Toes are cut differently, and the polish job was not good. My friend had an amazing nail tech who did a great job on him and polish job was really good, my service was just bad. Tipped his Nail Tech, but not mine. Not a big fan of the Tech dipping her hand in the Sugar scrub either because thats unsanitary. Implements not in blue bags, meaning it wasnt sterilized. Massage didnt last long and was rushed as well, just wish a little more care took place for me, because I know I do it for my clients.

Maybe one of the best nail salons I have been to. Amazing staff. Takes their time time to complete your needs. Thile is my goto everytime and always comes through.

I absolutely love this salon! First time here and heard great stuff about it from my coworker! After I signed into the front I was welcomed even though I showed up 15 minutes before they closed and they still were willing to stay after hours and do my toes. Wait time was very short. Everyone was very friendly and Nee did beautifully on my nails. I even tripped on the chair and she fixed them at the drying station. I will definitely be back! :)

Its really unfortunate to be writing this but my first visit was last weekend and I cant see returning. I had hoped to have found a nice, new gem of a nail salon but I had identical experiences to many of the others leaving negative reviews.My nail tech was actually very pleasant, however the water for my pedicure was incredibly hot (I was prewarned by the woman seated next to me who just put her feet in). The towel she put over my legs after the sugar scrub was so hot that I yanked it off as soon as it hit my skin.I observed the folks working the front be rude to some people and polite to others with seemingly no reason.Then we get to the polish and nail filing jobs. I sat for at least 30 minutes while having a gel polish manicure while my pedicure dried. She got gel polish all over my cuticles, it dripped from my nail over onto my skin while under the UV light, and my nails (which are short) are all filed crooked. The next day I tried to peel bits of gel that were stuck to my skin off and it took some of it peeled off my nails with it. Thats right - polish peeled off in 24 hours. I dont think the polish even cured properly because she loaded my cuticle area with oil before and after adding gel, and never wiped the sticky topcoat off with alcohol. I also noticed my pedicure was smudged and those nails are crooked.Not impressed.

I came in today for a pedicure. I booked my apt online. The online site is very easy to manage. When I arrived they were not busy and ready for my apt at 5:30pm. This is the cleanest nail salon/Spa i’ve been too. The whole time i was getting my service the owner and a young man where walking around cleaning. They also have the pedicure utilities that come individually wrapped so you are sure to get clean items. They use the plastic lining in the tubes and after each client they take off the jets inside the tub. They even offer you wine and it’s of good quality especially after a long days of work. The lady who did my pedicure kept nice conversation after she told me to just relax and enjoy. She took her time and made sure I was satisfied before she finished. I was told about the other services they offer. If your looking for a up scale nail salon/spa this is the place. The owner is nice as well and you can tell he takes pride in his business. I will be returning.

I was going to give them a 4 star because one of my nail was filed crooked and she kept going but after she put the acrylic on she fixed it immediately. Overall the experience was great. The Atmosphere was very pleasant. I definitely will be back.

Lavish and very comfortable, pleasant people with wonderful service. They give u mimosas and they were great!!!! The only service they don’t offer is the paraffin wax, I hope they offer that in the near future. I will be returning very soon and I recommend this spot to anyone new to the area.

Today I had the deluxe pedicure with the lavender scented scrubs and creams. I got out of the chair walking sideways. This was the best pedicure Ive ever had. A nice firm full leg massage with warm stones to go along with the firm back massage from the chair! Well worth the money.

I liked the atmosphere and the ease of making a last minute appointment. I got a full set, gel manicure. Ive been getting gel nails for years. I have had 2 come off from just every day wear and tear. At my normal salon the nail didnt even pop off after I slammed my finger in a safe door. Never have I ever had gel pop off my nails like this. May go back for something simple like a last minute pedi but definitely going back to my go-to Salon!

Found this place from doing a random Google search. Upon walking in I was greeted with a warm welcome and only waited for about 5 minutes. The place is absolutely beautiful with a calm atmosphere and all the technicians were very friendly. I enjoyed my deluxe pedicure and one of the most best pedis Ive had in awhile. I cant wait to come back and try other services.

I went to Thile Nail Bar because some one suggested the location. I have been looking for a decent nail tech since I moved to Columbia from NY. I went to several different establishments and received piss poor customer service. I appreciate Thile for taking the time to get to know me, personalizing my visit, taking pride in her work and being damn good at what she does. Her husband is super nice and their chemistry is very welcoming. Her son went out of his way to ask if I would like a beverage of some sort, which I politely declined, but I was still in awe at the request. I have never been offered nothing but silence. They are all awesome and the establishment is clean. 10 stars if I could.I will forever be a client of hers as long as we are both in the same city. ❤️ - Anistasia

This place needs to realize free drinks do not make up for great service. Atmosphere is nice but unless I missed it, there are only 2 seats at the nail drying station?? I found that strange for a salon that size. My first visit I was left at the techs station to dry my nails with the mini fan they have attached to the desk. Visited twice and both times nail techs were a bit on the rude side. On top of that nails lasted all of 2 days. I could have polished nails at home and saved that $45. Needless to say wont be going back. I get so tired of paying top dollar for POOR SERVICE!

I came in for a pedicure. Han is Amazing!! He provides great customer service and does a wonderful job. The atmosphere is so welcoming. I will definitely be back!
