I have a hard time giving a bad review but I gave this place the opportunity to make it right and they didn’t. I had a mani/pedi done the day before I flew out for a 16 day vacation. 2 days after I got my mani/pedi I noticed ripples in 5 of nails. Every single one of those ripples ripped open so my nails looked HORRIBLE during my vacation. I coincidentally ran into the person who did my nails the day after I got back from vacation and she asked about my nails. I showed her the ripped open cracked horrible looking nails. She told me if I had come back immediately when it happened she would have fixed it. I explained to her that I was 1500 miles away but that I did take pictures that were time stamped so she could see it was 2 days after. She told me to come back and she would take care of it for me. I went yesterday and she did a FANTASTIC job on my nails. They look amazing, except she told me the color I chose was ugly. So I ended getting the color SHE chose…orange. I never would’ve chose orange but whatever. So I said I wanted to leave her a tip but only had my card. She ran my card for $38. It was a fill in and I was under the impression I wasn’t having to pay because my original set of nails looked horrible. She told me it was because I didn’t leave them under the UV light long enough when I was there last🤯 I will NOT go back or recommend this place.

I asked for pink and white blended. Gave me French tip. Cut my pinky and left a weird orange dot on my pinky nail. The guy doing my nails kept jerking me and my pinky ended up popping because he was holding it so firmly. It was very hard to relax and enjoy my time. When we asked to get a discount, because I wasn’t happy he started cussing and yelling. Very unprofessional.

These guys were so busy, but they got me in for a pedicure as a walk in without a wait. I was not satisfied with the color I chosen as I wanted glitter and no gel. I explained what I wanted and Ms. Vanessa did exactly what I wanted.

The guy doing my nails was super rough, I pointed out that I had nail polish on my skin and he didnt bother getting it off. The polish on my nails arent even and my nails werent filed correctly so everything is super uneven. Definitely wont be returning.

Solar Nails got me right after having service done at another nail shop in Dickson, TN and it was not anything that I asked for and feeling like I wasted my money at that Nail Shop. I went to Solar Nails and I got exactly what I asked for and wanted. So I will continue to go to Solar Nails I will never try any other shop again.

I have been coming here for years and I never messed up my nails after i left the salon. They told me i was dry but i still needed to be careful. I’ve done what i was told & my nails never got smudged. They’re quick and multitasks well. Loved my nails, toes, brows & lashes. Will recommend this place to my family and all my friends. My nails were not the right shape there super thick and they look sloppy . There’s also polish on my hands and my nails have a smell like plastic or something. Mrs walker did not do a good job

This was my first visit to Solar Nails and it was a wonderful experience! Mrs. Walker was my nail expert and she was just a pleasure! Not only did she do such a beautiful job, she impressed me from the beginning by asking how long had I been waiting! Which was less than 5 minutes. The rest of the staff was courteous and made me feel like they not only wanted my business, but were happy to have me there! I will definitely be back! Also I have to give high praise to the gentleman that runs the tanning beds! I have long time been a customer of Solar tans and have always been happy with the service there. Usually I walk in and he walks me directly to a bed, hardly ever have I had to wait! Wonderful customer service!

Frustrated from the second I sat down. I needed to soak my old gel nails off and they basically forgot about me because my nails were burning. They remembered when I took my nails out of the acetone in disgust. Then I wanted a simple design on my ring finger and the guy told me no—no designs. I said what?? None at all?? He said no he doesn’t do designs. I said okay can someone else do this. The other lady tried twice to do a simple snowflake and couldn’t do it. Then had to get her cousin to do it. Finally they overcharged me—more than prices in New York and New Jersey—just to do a design. I will NEVER be back and neither will any of my family. This place was a joke. The only positive was the lady who actually could do my design was the nicest lady in the world. Thanks! 👍🏻

I found this nail salon on google and Ive come here. Actually my very first professional pedicure and it was very liberating. I like their professionalism and the updated equipement. They may have been somewhat busy but were able to enrich me and get everything done in a timely fashion. Could not help but come back here!

My nails are horribly shaped, chunky, and matte. I did not appreciate my nail tech not paying simple attention that my nails were matte, I wanted a shiny regular top coat. Not to mention she was careless with the drill and cut me. They still charged me full price and I added a decent tip even though I shouldn’t have.

Seriously disappointing. Alright so for starters, I’ve been getting my nails done here or the other family owned places in town for 12 years. Recently I’ve endured and witnessed some terrible customer service. Not only from employees but owners as well. Rude, rude, rude. Now when you pay for a service, you expect to get what you’re asking for. Not “suggestions” or pressured into what the tech thinks looks better or looks right (colors). Sorry but if two other customers can clearly see a nail is crooked, it’s crooked!! Completely unnecessary to catch an attitude bc you rushed through. I’m perfectly fine with making a longer drive to receive better all around service. I’ve experienced nothing but great things from nail places in Spring Hill.

Took my best friend into Solar Nails & Tanand got pedicures and best pedicure Ive had. Our feet looked great after. Our feet werent too nice before coming in but their staff fixed us right up. Staff is very friendly and the environment is great! Would definitely recommend for ladies and gentlemen.

The staff are rude and I will never go back ... After getting full set I had to return after a photo shoot with a broken nail. When I returned to get it fixed they simply laughed and scoffed and told me they too long ... I asked when i could get it fixed and was told I dont know Frustrated I left with my friend who could not even wait in the establishment because of the fumes.My experience was so horrible! I dont recommend this place to anyone.

This is absolutely the worst nail salon I have ever been to in my entire life my mother and I both went in for a fill in and 2 pedicures we were treated so rudely the gentleman who did my mothers Nails was so rude to her and the gentleman next to him was also mouthing and being very rude as well the lady that did my nails cut my thumb not once not twice but three times in the same location and then denied that she cut me when I called earlier that day and asked for a quote for to fill ins and two pedicures then when we finally got the bill it was totally wrong we were completely and totally lied to and was not informed about additional charges for certain services that they asked if you would like they need to tell their customers that it cost more I am highly disappointed and I do not recommend anyone go to this Salon they are rude they do not know how to treat people and the atmosphere is absolutely terrible and to me it looks very very run down in my opinion I believe the employees of this nail salon needs to go back to school and get proper training on how to do a proper manicure and pedicure dont waste your time even going there

I usually get pedicures here because I received a few amazing ones from Jason! He is AMAZING ! The last few pedis I had weren’t as good but they were ok, but this go around my tech was Duke, & he was AWESOME! I always thought it was rude to request a specific tech especially when it’s busy but from now on I will request one if these guys!

Went in for a full set of nails. Everyone was nice enough but my nails are not all the same shape or length. When I asked that they be fixed. It was rushed and the guy seemed annoyed. If I’m paying for something I want it done right. If you are short staffed or to busy then turn people away. Now they will need to be redone so they look decent.

I had a gel manicure done by Nicole. It is 9 days old and still is perfect. The atmosphere was nice and staff was pleasant. Very moderately priced. I could not ask for more.

Decided to try a new nail salon today because of bad experiences at a previous one. My daughter and I came to solar nails and had a GREAT experience! The employees were so nice and conversated and actually took thier time doing our nails. We had a little wait but we were fine with that being as the wait was due to them taking time on customers. Really surprised my how good my nails look. Would have probably never started going here had a couple of friends not visited with great results. Only 4 stars because they dont do appointments...and sometimes there is a wait for a technician. Otherwise, I recommend local ladies give them a try!

This was my first and only time here. I went in to get my nails filled. Customer service was non existent. The gentleman that filled my nails was rough with my hands and didn’t ask if I had acrylic or gel. He trimmed my nails and none of them are even. There was polish left on my fingers and he never rubbed in the cuticle oil before dismissing me. I’ll travel more of a distance to get quality next time.

I normally go to a different nail place but wanted to try a different place. But i wont be coming back to solor nails! The nail tech was very rough with the tool. Normally the techs speak and at least act nice. Well not here. They look at the people and then laugh and look down quickly. I was told to sit as soon as i walked in. Then he keeps asking what color. 1 he didnt had the colors to me. Then the next time he rolls his eyes at me its not like i can go behind the desk. Smh the pro nails may be older and you have to wait. But they are much nicer!!!!! Did giid on my nails but the servies was bad!!!

Ive had my nails dipped for 2 yrs in TX. Ive had no problems including breaks. I came here after moving to TN and the guy took 30 min longer than Im use to. He left my nails in remover and a warm towel for 20 min instead of removing the old polish himself which is quicker. Then he filed my nails down the old fashion way instead of using the electric trimmer. As a result I found a huge crack under my thumb nail polish a few days later. Then 2 other nails chipped. I will never go back. My daughter was unhappy with her visit as well and has since found us a place to go in Brentwood.

Honestly I have been here before with my daughter and son in law and the were pretty busy but did a great job on our pedis. I TIP REALLY WELL by the way.This morning there were 4 people including me being a customer. I was greeted from afar and asked what I needed and was told to pick a color. I finally was told to sit to get my pedi. When seated I sat for over half an hour I had to ask to add hot water. Never was I spoken to unless I asked a question. Another 15 minutes went by and I asked how much longer?! The guy said 5, 10 15 minutes max.... I said okay because I have been here a while. there was a man who had been working on someones nails and decided to go to the back and then came out and I was excited to see I may be serviced. Water cold again. He passed right by me and went outside, sitting in a lawn chair to smoke??I had things to do!. So I got up and said well I cant stay I have things I need to get done. I tried not to be rude but honestly that was very wrong how I was treated and I am a sweet caring loving giver. They just didnt even care that I walked out? They lost a good person as a customer. I wish them to learn how to be to people and maybe have told me they were busy I would have came back. No communication and THAT is why I was upset.
