Susan, the owner, is the absolute sweetest! Very informative, friendly, and you can tell she truly cares about her customers and their experiences. I had my first facial and I couldn’t have asked for anything to be better or different. It was such a fun experience that I was actually kind of sad when it was over! Lol. I also want to give a shout-out to Carrissa for doing an amazing job as well!

My first trip to Dermastique left me with some issues and some questions. Susan, the owner used this as an opportunity to build a life long loyal customer. I am in awe of how amazing she was with my conflict resolution. She called me personally, got me right back in and corrected my minor issue free of charge. She was professional, kind, caring, knowledgeable and I just cannot say enough good things about my experience. Not only was my chemical peel a complete success, it left my skin looking and feeling amazing. I was so impressed that I scheduled my next three appointments before I even left the spa. Tomorrow I am going back for my next facial along with a laser treatment that I would not have known about had it not been for her expertise and ability to convey other options for my skincare needs. When I have the time and money to go treat myself to a princess day, this is the place you will most likely find me. I have been a loyal client of Susans even before she opened Dermistique. One of the my favorite things about her is that she LOVES her craft and she continues to seek out ways she can improve her skills and her business. I feel that she knows my skin better than I do and I trust her completely to work her magic every time I have an appointment. She has high expectations of her employees and I know that if I am not able to have Susan as my esthetician, I will be equally pleased having any of the other ladies as my service provider. I had my first ever experience at Dermistique Face & Body today with William. He was professional, walked me thru what he was doing and the benefits, and made small talk that made my first time very enjoyable. The spa was SUPER clean and beautifully decorated! Overall my experience was over a 5star!

I went for a much needed facial treatment that I had been delaying for a while because I was told it hurt. It did a little, but all that could be ignored because the girl that did was really nice and patient with me although I would ask hurt to stop once in a while whenever I got hurt. I am definitely coming back!

Susan is so sweet. I have been going here since I was 12 and am now 18. I have tried other places but none can stand up to the level that Dermistique provides. Susan takes the extra time to make sure everything is perfect, I really appreciate that.

My appointment was cancelled without notification. When I arrived to the shop the manager who had called me to verify the appointment informed me that no one was available, despite the email I had received. She provided no explanation, no apology and was dismissive of any inquiry regarding the matter.While the lash artists are top notch, the customer care and environment leave much to be desired.

I dont usually write reviews, but i felt the need to do it this time. I was surprised at how rude the manager was there. A friend of mine surprised me with paying for my eyelash extensions so when I went to try and pay, they said it was already taken care of. Unfortunately due to a client emergency at work, I called them and told them I would be late and explained what had happened. They said that was totally fine. I got there between 15-20 minutes late and they informed me that they would only be able to do a partial fill because of the time which was understandable. Since it was paid ahead of time, they couldnt reimburse me, but the lady who did my eyelash extensions was very sweet and said that she will just do a partial the next open appointment and to come back and shell finish up since I already paid and they wouldnt charge me again. So we made the appointment and I was so appreciative.Got a call hours before my appointment from the manager Kristin saying that I would have to pay for my services after the lady told me that it would be taken care of. I called to get more information and she was extremely rude on the phone. I explained to her what I was told and she just said it didnt matter and that it was my fault I was an hour late. First, I wasnt an hour late, and second that is how you lose customers. I have been a regular for many months now and never have been late or anything. I had a client come in with an emergency and his needs were first just like they should put my needs as a client first as well. Thats what good customer service is. If someone says one thing then hours before your appointment you change it, it makes the business look so unprofessional. It actually put me in shock because the manager just didnt care to help me out even after I was told and had the impression that I was already taken care of. Ive been a loyal customer for many months, but that just totally threw me off.

I had a facial with William (Bly) a few weeks ago and was very impressed with my entire experience at Dermastique. The spa is clean, nicely decorated, and staff was very professional. As for my experience with William, he was professional, kind, and knowledgeable. The European Facial was very relaxing and my skin looked and felt amazing afterward. He is definitely going to be my skin maintenance go to professional from now on.

I was very disappointed in my entire experience at Dermistique and the lack of respect for my time. I booked a 60 min facial over the phone and was called right back saying that time wouldnt work could I come for an appointment 45 min. later? The receptionist was smart and talked me into doing a manicure before my facial to fill that 45 min. gap. I was looking forward to my afternoon there as they have a beautiful shop and was ready to relax before the rush of Christmas.I arrived 10 min. prior to my appointment but they started my manicure 15 min. late. At that point, I knew they werent going to be able to remove my gel polish and redo my nails in 30 min. I was right. It took her 45 min. to remove my old polish. Are you kidding me! The strip mall nail salons can have you in and out in that amount of time. I had to schedule another appointment for the next day to have my nails re-painted.During my polish removal, I was also told the new receptionist mistakenly booked my facial in the owners room and it was currently occupied. 45 min. after my facial was supposed to start (25 min. waiting once my polish was off) I was told a room was available. However, because she had a client after me, I was only going to be able to do a 30 min. facial so she wouldnt run late for them. Well, isnt that just great! The facial was okay but not the relaxing facial that I had scheduled.My nails from the appointment the next day, which they actually started on time, werent even painted down to my cuticles. It looks like I already have a week’s worth of re-growth. How disappointing. Even worse, they charged me $15 the day before to remove my old polish, so now I have $40 in a crappy manicure.Maybe they could have offered a discount on a future 60 min facial or not charged to remove my polish? But, I left there feeling that I or my time wasn’t valuable as a new client. I won’t be returning to Dermistique.

I have been going to Dermistique since they opened (I think almost 10 years ago). Susan has been amazing from the beginning! I first started going for waxing and eyelash extensions. My brows had been extremely over-waxed and Susan was amazing helping me get them filled back in and shaped properly...which has definitely required patience and a lot of time! Susan took the time to present me with solutions that would help throughout the process like tinting and makeup applications that looked natural and great! Susan and Dermistique were also the first (I believe) to offer eyelash extensions in Columbia. If you have gotten extensions before, you know that not all extension applications are created equal. If you havent...do yourself a favor and go to Dermitique. Ive had fills from many of the ladies at Dermistique, who have all been trained under Susan, and they do an incredible job. The lashes look amazing and THEY LAST...without having big, visible clumps of glue holding them on.Finally, my skin has changed A LOT over the past 10 years. Just recently, I have been working with Susan and the staff at Dermistique to help get my face cleared up and help decrease the signs of aging. They have been incredible in helping recommend products and procedures that have helped improve the look and feel of my skin SUCH AN INCREDIBLE AMOUNT!!!! So much that my family and friends have made comments about how good my skin looks and asked me what Ive been doing different.I highly recommend Susan and Dermistique to everyone! The facility is beautiful, clean and relaxing, and the people are professional and really good at what they do. You will receive quality services here....from nails to waxing to lashes to microderms, to peels...this is the place to go!!!!!

Ive been a client since its opening & over the years I have received nearly every service they offer. I go regularly for lashes, dermaplaning & occasional microdermabrasion. Ive never had a bad experience and have always found Susan & her staff to be very knowledgeable, professional & friendly.

Had my first experience with dermaplaning with Bly last week. I have very sensitive, older skin, so I was nervous about how the procedure might affect me. Bly had such a gentle touch that I didnt experience any redness afterwards--it was amazing. My skin was so soft and still is, 10 days later. The fine lines around my mouth--my smile (smirk, really) lines, are much less noticeable. If youre thinking about trying dermaplaning, you wont have a better experience than I did.

Dermistique is amazing!! Everytime I go I have a great experience with all the girls. Friendly, inviting and sophisticated. The mani pedi services are wonderful. And I love Susan for all my skincare needs.

I have been going to Dermistique for years and have always been impressed. Every aesthetician is knowledgeable about skincare and the products available for my skin type. I’ve had dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, hydrafacial, chemical peels, lamprobe and oxygen treatments. I’ve also had waxing, spray tans and dozens of mani pedis. I never feel pressured to buy their products, but when I occasionally do, I love them. It’s the perfect place for everything from serious skin treatments to gal pal parties to a quick pick-me-up facial.

This was my second appointment at this place I wanted to reschedule and was told they need 36 hour of a notice or pay $25 for reschedule I get that what about last minute emergency I am a mom of two young children with no help or family in town i had to take my infant with me to the appointment which I asked permission ahead. I kept apologizing and thanked the waxer who was doing my services as I was getting dressed the owner came in and said I appreciate your business but please don’t bring your child again it disturbs the other customers! Did she check with her people at the front desk was I given the choice or was I forced to come in to the appointment!
