I just started getting my nails done again after 3 years. My girl, Courtney, recommend AM Nail Bar too me. I had my first set done by Andy!!!!!!! I just went Monday for a fill in, cut down by MiMi!!!!! I ran into my girl Jessica who also gets her nails done here! This place is amazing and professional. I highly recommend coming here the next time you want to treat yourself to self-care.

Okay! Lynne is amazing!!! The entire place is amazing. Drive from Orangeburg with my boyfriend’s daughter. I had a pedicure and she got a full set done. We didn’t have an appointment but they took us right away. The place is bright, airy and clean. The staff was amazingly friendly and the atmosphere was delightful. Needless to say, we left completely satisfied with our services. I will definitely be making the trip back.UPDATE- Kevin rocks! I initially went in to her a gel manicure and had a split nail. He suggested that the dip would be the better option for natural nail and he wasn’t wrong. My nails have grown and are longer and stronger. He’s also amazingly talented and kind. Worth the drive.

In my search to find a nail salon I chose this place based on the reviews. I said to myself, “Over 4 stars! This place must be great!” I was all excited when I stepped inside. Beautiful and clean appearance. The ambiance was nice (although watching a vacation promo of the Maldives got a bit boring after 30min). I got a pedicure and a full set of gel nails done. The guy who did my pedicure was great. He was very pleasant and he did a very good job.Now for the nails. If you look at the pictures, the one on the left was what I wanted. What I got was a completely different story. Just look at the picture on the right! 😩😂🤣😂 They should’ve just sent me right on back out the salon saying they couldn’t do it so I could find someone who could.

This was my 3rd visit and I was too tired to stay and ask for them to fix my nails after it taking so long to even complete. I was referred to this place and told they all do great work but NOPE, they don’t. I am not impressed. I tried 3 different people. The manager, Andy contacted me and offered to fix my nails and he did as best he could. I think that it was just too far gone the wrong way. I spent a lot of money each time I visited this place. Maybe it is some good nail techs in there but I didn’t get them each time I went. All I can say is beware and be careful when you go in there. I should have read the reviews and asked for the best nail tech instead getting 3 different bad nail techs.Reply:Andy that was the truth and I didn’t come and give you all a hard time. You asked me to come back and you’d fix for me. I didn’t ask you for a thing. I paid for a professional job that I did not get by the lady yesterday. Yes you fixed it as best you could but the problem wasn’t just the polish job it was the acrylic job too. Instead of getting mad, take some constructive criticism and make sure your people know how to properly do nails. I’m not picky I just want what I paid for… a professional service.

Lovely nail bar. They are practicing safety by wearing mask and asking customers to wash their hands. Kevin was very nice and did a great job. The manager was pleasant to work with one on one.

This place is fairly new however, the lady that did my pedicure yesterday was unnecessarily rough. This is my toe this morning when I woke up.I will never go back & you should NEVER go here either!!!

This was my first time going to AM Nail Bar after reading the reviews. I went in for a relaxing day with my mom to chill. I got a manicure and a full acrylic set. The environment was very clean, neat, and well kept. They made sure to take safety precautions due to COVID-19. The staff were friendly and inviting; they took their time with my mom and I. I finally found a nail salon to call home since I moved here 3 years ago. Will become a regular customer 😊🥰

I paid $70 for my nails 1 repair & ring finger design on both hands. 24 hours later my gel polish #255 starting coming off my nails. Went back 3x bc Mimi who normally does my nails were out of town. I go back 3rd time oh she has appointments come back. I work & I can’t keep coming back & forth bc this isn’t my fault. The manager or whoever I spoke with has bad customer service skills & need to learn how to talk to people. I don’t care if management didn’t do my nails but it’s about having good customer service & making it right for a tenured customer. So I will never come back & I’m sure they could care less but this review will stay here. You may not have a refund policy but giving a $10 credit is a slap in the face.

They were polite and prompt. Scrubbed my feet really well. Offered drinks & a jelly soak that feels wonderful. My fiance and I enjoyed the environment. It was peaceful. Quiet little spa. We will probably be regulars here for our pedicures.

Once I walked in to make my inquiries on Services, the wait was exactly 2 minutes. He approached me, gave his exact price on manicures and pedicures. Then provided a Business card. THAT WAS MOST EXCELLENT! I will be returning soon for self care!

Ive only been twice so I dont want to say anything about the customer service just yet. I go to MiMi and her work is really good. Honestly the best nail tech that Ive ever had. I havent gotten a pedicure there yet so I cant comment about that either. The fist pic is a nude dip n powder with chrome #3 overlay. And the second is yellow ombre with 3D flower design.

I usually try not to leave negative reviews, but I was pretty disappointed. I call, and booked an appointment with a specific nail tech. I was told she was available at the specific time, and the appointment was confirmed. When I arrived, I was asked what nail tech would I like, I explained that I had an appointment with a specific nail tech. While the nail tech that I requested finished another client I had my toe nails polished(as the nail tech that I requested usually does my nails). When my toe nails were finished, I was given another nail tech. I politely explained that I had an appointment with another nail tech. I was then told she was not available. Another nail tech proceeded to complete my nails. This nail tech was rude, and when I asked her for guidance on a color that was in a picture that was shown to her, she just shoved all of their nail colors in my face, and told me to pick one. I know it will not matter, but I will not be back.

I made an appointment for my mother and I to get mani-pedis. They didn’t ask if we had an appointment, but they did seat one of us immediately. It’s clean and spacious, and they use technology to support a hand-free environment when possible. I noticed one technician did not wear a mask while with a client.It’s open on Sunday, so I will come again.

Sam is wonderful!! The AM Nail Bar takes their time on your hands and feet and they put a lot of care into making your experience wonderful. I will continue to book with Sam every two weeks.

I have been to a ton of nail salons in the Columbia area and they were just all okay but this is by far the best place I have come across. Andy is awesome and always makes sure the customer is happy. Every nail tech that has done my nails has taken their time to ensure that my nails look perfect and that I’m happy with the end result. I am so glad I found this place because they really value quality work.

Beautiful and both my techs were amazing!I didnt like how they put someone where I was sitting when I went to wash my hands before moving my things or letting me get my things. Also as I was paying they guy yelled nails and feet to the girl as if I didnt give her my ticket or that I wouldnt have told her myself. Other than that my nails are beautiful 😍

Mary gave me the most relaxing and thorough pedicure ever!! Water was the right 🔥 temperature. She hit all the right spots with the right pressure during the massage (especially on these FEET babay!!) And remembered to finish off with my parrafin wax!!😍😍She just kept taking money🤑 out of my pocket. Ive been stolen from sparkle!!😥😳

Went in for a gel manicure and she did very well but the polish she put was thin, so they allowed me to come back and get some polish added and were very nice about it. Very clean place.

I finally found my spot now!! This salon is clean, professional & calm environment. The older guy did my nails I forgot his name but lemme tell youuuuuuu he BODIED any nails. They’re sooooo beautiful. No lumps, all my nails are shaped perfectly. He took his time but also worked effectively. 10/10 recommended.

My experience was IMMACULATE!!!! The hot stones felt so great !!!! She definitely took her time and the massage is my favorite part. Very particular in what she was doing and made sure she didn’t leave not one “mess up” during the process. I was going to La Dona nail bar but this is my NEW NAIL SHOP!!!! I went here for the first time to get my eyebrows waxed. I will never go back. I was put in a room and sat there for about 20 minutes waiting for someone to do my eyebrows and when someone did come she asked me if I was waiting for someone to do my eyebrows and then asked me to step out of the room while she did the lady she walked over with. I felt like I was not valued as a customer. So I left and I will not ever go back. I will not spend hard earned money in a place that would treat only “some people “ with value and others as if they were less worthy of respect. I took my business down the street to Venus Nails where the people are respectful and very attentive.

Nail technician decided to add their tip automatically to my payment at checkout.

The service that I received today while receiving a pedicure was horrible. I have been here several times with no issue but today I did not like the way my toes were done and I simply said I would file the toes myself and then we can continue with the pedicure. The technician went to get the manager maybe out of protocol when they notice the customer is unhappy. But everything pretty much went downhill from there. He was extremely unprofessional and led with his emotions in our discussion which in turn caused him to walk away and shut down. I don’t believe the phrase “customer is always right” but in this situation I absolutely think I was. Unfortunate but this will be my last time receiving any services from this facility.

I went there for a nail dip. Im not too experienced with this as this was my fourth time trying this. Ive never been one to get my nails done before. My 1st two times were somewhere else (5 minutes from where I live) and my dip actually started cracking. AM nails was suggested and I tried them out. They are 25 minutes from my house but I will not go anywhere else. They are professional and kind. I went in with a picture and Mimi exceeded my expectations!! I have trying to find a local nail salon in the Columbia area for quite some time. After doing my research, I decided to give AM Nail Bar a try. OMG!! I hit the jackpot! They offer a variety of services and their work is impeccable. The establishment is very clean and organized, and the staff is very professional. If you are in search of a nail salon, I would suggest that you do give AM Nail Bar a try. You will not be disappointed!!

I thought I finally found a nail salon. However the past few times my nails have broken as soon aa the next day & I’ve always had to pay to fix them immediately after. Then just recently I had $78 for a child’s mani & Pedi no nails or design just gel polish(4 different colors). My daughter got her nails done Friday the polish was off by Sunday. When she went to get them fixed he wanted her to pay but replaced the polish with 2 colors of regular polish. It’s ridiculous and I used to recommend people to come here but this last experience was awful. Management didn’t even apologize when their nail tech was removing my nail &broke my nail bed causing my nail to bleed & that bail broke the next day. I’ve tried just seeing if it was just a fluke but I’ll give a another dollar to them.

Update: They also do the best pedicures EVER! I think his name was Steven and he is my new pedicure guy!I came to AM Nail Bar for a fill in at 5:15 on Sunday, hoping they wouldn’t mind and would not rush. I was not disappointed! Andy was AMAZING. He did a fantastic job! The salon was clean and the technicians were all friendly and professional. I am super happy with my nails and their service. I set an appointment for every 2weeks before I leave. On the day of my appointment, I always get a courtesy text. The people here are very friendly, attentive, and thorough. The wait is never long and prices are great! The facility is extremely clean. They ensure the safety and sanitation of all customers. I also love watching the luxury destination videos that play on the screen while getting my nails serviced. Much needed pampering time away from the kiddos! This place is amazing! I went there to get my nails done for my birthday today and I LOVE MY NAILS!! The staff is so nice and friendly and they get the job done quickly. Even though they are focused they still make sure to have a conversation with you. I felt so relaxed and enjoyed my time there. Also, the inside is SO clean and professional looking. I was referred by someone i met at walgreens her nails were beautiful so i took my 2 granddaughters and after each one finished they paid i was the last to get done i had a fillin i was charged 45 dollars for just a fillin when i called they told me fillins start at 28 my nails are not long i think that’s kind of high but my nails are beautiful Kevin did an amazing job. When we left Andy ran out to my car and asked if my granddaughter had paid i said yes i thought that was kind of rude he could have just asked the lady that took the money but overall i love the work kevin did on my nails

I was having a bad day and the technician who was a guy got upset with me because I was telling him I didn’t feel like he wasn’t giving me what I wanted.... he walked away with a really bad attitude... then Sam came over and finished the job. I felt like a real QUEEN... he really made me feel special... I really appreciated his treatment of me💯💋❤️❤️

Not happy this time. They have changed. They are so in a rush and the dark haired guy is so rude. He says he is giving you a discount but what he does he raises the price of the service like we are stupid or something. REALLY. YOU JUST LOST A CUSTOMER SIR!

Great Experience and great time management!

I had a deluxe pedicure which was the most relaxing pedicure that I think I have ever had. The hot stones added a nice touch and my feet are still soft to the touch days later. The color selection is adequate. My friend was with me and had some difficulties with finding matching swatches between dip and regular polish. She also had problems with the selected colors appearing on natural nails as it did on display nails. Other than that minor thing, it was an enjoyable experience.

Miss Lei was very Professional she told me what was was wrong with them. And I have never heard a nail technician tell me what was wrong with my nails, and I have been wearing them for many, years I will go back too their place of business.

Horrible service! Very rude! They make up prices as they go along! I went there and got a refill with 2 marbled nails and 2 fingers that had 3 rhinestones on eat 95.00. The lady who did my nails was upset because I ask her to shape my nail a lil different then she began to speak in here language while I sat in the chair! Then when she polished my nails she purposely did polish close to the cuticle so it looked like I still needed a fill-in!Ask about price before they start!!!!!!!

I LOVE this place! Always clean & I never wait long if at all when I do walk-in rather than appointment. Andy is super cool & always remembers my name. While on vacation I visited this salon for some needed pampering. The salon was clean and well decorated. The nail tech did a decent job on my pedicure. However, my manicure was horrible. I noticed the tech start rushing and it seemed like the tech skipped cutting my cuticles completely. The same day I had to pick off dead skin, 2 days later I have to pick off dead skin and 3 days later I had to cut off my cuticles. The tech did not do a thorough job and when they were done they stood up and asked the time and said they had to go by 6. So my inclination of a rush job was proven and my cuticles not being cut was also proven. They definitely did unsatisfactory work on my hands. A waste of money for that service.
