Had 2 hours booked with her. Showed up at the address that is listed on the google business page. Was told she had moved, and attempted to call her 3 times with no answer. The ladies at the salon she used to work at gave me her new address, continued trying to call and text, told her I’d be there in 15 minutes(which would have put me at 19 minutes past my appointment). She texted back while I was en route and told me we’d have to reschedule. I asked if she could wait til I got there to assess my hair and how long it would take(since I had 2 hours booked with her). She told me she would not see me, as she has a 10 minute late policy, but she threw in that she wouldn’t charge me a late fee (how kind of her πŸ™).Keep in mind, the only reason I was late is I went to the address that she has on google. Also, all of this is through text because she refuses to pick up the phone when I kept calling and calling.Immediately pulled over, traded in the Groupon, and went back to the salon that she used to be at and told them what happened. They were kind enough to get me in.So basically, went to the address she has listed (which was wrong), was 18 minutes late because of it, and she refused to even see me. This young lady does not know how to do business or treat her clients.

My appointment was cancelled 15 minutes prior to appointment. I had already arrived and had traveled 30 minutes to be there. Caroline texted me to cancel and asked me to text her back to reschedule. That was the last time I heard from her. After numerous text messages and phone calls she is yet to respond. I had prepaid for the appointment so know I am trying to get payment back from credit card company. I would NOT recommend wasting your time with this salon.

I had an appointment for a keratin hair treatment which was canceled by the salon 15 minutes before scheduled appointment. I was already at the salon waiting in my car to enter after traveling 30 minutes to get there. When I tried to reschedule they would not call me back or reply to any text messages. This has been going on for over two weeks. The treatment was pre-paid so now I have to contact credit card company for a refund as salon owner refuses to reimburse me or get in touch to reschedule. I have made multiple request via phone text and email to rebook and not able to get any response at all. I’d be very skeptical of anyone else doing business with this person as I feel it is not professional at all.

Never showed for my appt. I called and texted multiple times. Finally got a text response (not even a phone call) saying β€˜sorry let’s reschedule’. I already drove, waited 1/2 hr and had a sitter at home with my kids. Will never use again!

Carolyn was absolutely fantastic! Read a few bad reviews but they must be fake or wrong. Carolyn is a true entrepreneur and is wonderful at her job and running her business. The guy who mentioned her employees was definitely talking about somewhere else because Carolyn is the only stylist at her salon and has no staff. I highly recommend using Carolyn. She does a fabulous job and is easy to work with.

Shocking how little professionalism a business owner can have. Yelp has even more reviews of bad cut/dye jobs. Would definitely suggest you look elsewhere for someone who understands the client gets to pick how their hair looks; if the stylist freaks out over their walking billboard, they should stick to mannequins.

Great experience! Carolyn is wonderful and sweet. I showed her a couple of pictures of what I have in my mind and she did a wonderful job with highlights. Perfect color! Better than I imagined. This was my second time with her and I would definitely go to her salon again. I highly recommend her for haircolor/ highlights/ any other hair service.

Also 5 stars because you let someone know that going home to use Manic panic ( laughing out loud ) on their hair is not a good idea. You’re using your knowledge and professionalism to tell that person you are not comfortable with it. If she goes to another salon and they let her do this, I am gonna pray for that girls head of hair. If you D I D N O T go to school for hair, don’t act like you know everything about hair.

I arrived two minutes late for my 5pm appointment. The stylist was still working on the previous clients color and it appeared that she was less than half way finished. I wasnt greeted and had to interrupt to let her know I was there. At 5:15 I let her know that I had limited time and she said she would go and ask her shampoo girl to come and get me started. I ended up leaving because I didnt have time to waste (I have a baby on a breastfeeding schedule) and I was looking for a different experience than what she had to offer. Her salon space is a small room with florescent lighting and because it was my first haircut after baby, I was looking for some quality me time in a more relaxing environment. She has reasonable prices and friends have recommended her, but unfortunately, my experience wasnt great.

Great Keratin treatment. Ive tried groupon keratin treatments before and had so-so luck. Carolyn was great and the treatment was the best Ive had. Ive scheduled another. Only gave 4 stars because the building is kind of ridiculous to navigate and understand...I didnt think i was in the right place and waited quite some time before getting in and wandering around.

My mom bought me a Keratin treatment from Groupon trying to be nice. Little did she know she purchased the WORST experience of my life. When I walked into the building, I was filled with anxiety. Finding her little room was difficult and the building was like a maze. When I got there, the door was shut and I waited outside for 15 minutes after knocking before anyone greeted me.The room was cozy, warm, and neat. After a 10 hour work day, I was finally excited to relax and enjoy a treatment. However, I can honestly say I didnt get to relax until I got home 3 hours later. Regardless of the fact that she stressed her customer service skills, I was not offered a beverage and after the following interactions became way too anxious to ask. She proceeded to express that she disliked doing my type of hair or doing long services (a keratin treatment takes 2 hours) until I felt the need to apologize. Not to mention its been about a week and my hair is already starting to frizz. Due to financial issues, I cant afford to get these treatments. So, I refuse to go unless I can give a good tip, which I gave her. I did not deserve to feel the way she made me feel.Beware if you have long hair, thick hair, or want a long treatment.

Extremely unprofessional. As a hairstylist I’m appalled that you would harass a client with your friend’s phone! A client is a client- it’s our job to DO their hair not bully them for doing anything differently with it! Just because you now only have a one word review stating β€œterrible” doesn’t make it any less the fact that you’ve never been to this business AND you’re still the Manic Panic maniac. Who does this? Who acts like a spoiled brat because they didn’t get their way?5 stars because you refuse to let someone be a walking billboard of your professional work all because they want to use the atrocious manic panic, with them finishing your job as a kitchen beautician with it potentially back firing when she WILL need a very expensive color correction. I’ve received services from Carolyn since 2016. I’ve posted pics of one of my nail requests which she did from an online pic. Very courteous and customer oriented and worth my 20 min drive every 2 weeks. She is detail oriented and always does her best to accommodate her customers.

Boomer needs to go to business school. That is no way to treat customers. We are allowed to do what with our hair when we leave the salon. I can dye, cut, or wet it after being blow dryed. It is up to ME what i do with it. Dont come near here, youll regret it. The groupon looks good, but the ugly in carolyn doesnt.

Horrible experience. She spoiled my hair and i never asked for refund but she herself told that she will refund me so i was fine with it. but next day someone else called from her number and said me and my husband harassed her. I dont want the money but the stylist carolyn dont have customer etiquette to speak with the clients. I would never recommend anyone. loss of hair as well as she hurted my image too.
