Spacious apartments for a decent price. Balcony and fireplace are a nice touch for the homey feel. Access to 24 is extremely easy and that’ll take you to anywhere you need very quickly. Parking is usually plentiful unless you show up at 1am and even then there’s spots usually close by. Amenities could use some work, but Covid closed everything so it’s a recovery process I guess. Staff is super nice, haven’t met a rude or crude staff member yet. Grounds crew keeps it clean and cut, I’ve noticed them start to work on the parking lot holes which is very much needed. If you need a place with easy access and lower prices this is the one.
I really enjoyed my stay at Western Terrace. It really depends on your neighbors that you get when staying in an apartment complex. Mine were great, maybe the people downstairs got a little loud when the family came over but I have had a lot worse since then. They moved when they won the lottery. I couldnt hear sound from my next door neighbor but I could hear sound from downstairs. The apartments looked like a Ski Resort in the mountains in the winter when it snowed. They had huge back enclosed patios whether you were upstairs or down that included locked storage. My 2 bedroom had a gas fireplace and washer and dryer hookups. There were very wide straight steps, 19 of them, no turns from the ground floor to the second floor from the parking lot. Power jacks on the back porch for BBQ or whatever. There were many Army personnel there that were gone in a week sometimes. If I was to move there again I would do it in a second but I would skip the view on the west side because the sun heats up a second floor unit so much even with multiple window units they wont keep the place cool. You cant cool the place down again until the Sun sets. And no, there is no AC in any units. One of my units was a 15000 BTU. They charge $20 to install each unit and will take them out for free in the summer because with them installed the Gale winds blow in the windows really bad. The seal just doesnt work with it open halfway with the window unit installed.I would Recommend Western Terrace in a heartbeat. I dont know how much Covid had changed the place, I know package delivery has made delivery a mess at a lot of places. If you get bad neighbors, thats just the luck of the draw. Its Karma getting you back for that stuff you did to that person that time :)
I love it here! For just me its amazing very spacious, love having a balcony, the office is nice and always helpful ryan is such the nicest guy! Would definitely recommend this place
Hate this place. Recently had mailbox broken into it.. had police called because someone trying breaking into apartment .. Have very limited space for visitor parking.. greedy tow truck company will tow your car regardless if you’re following apartment rules .. unprofessional and highly recommended you do not rent from this place.
What a Joke. The mail room has been broken into and now they no longer have a mail room for who knows how long and its been weeks. What? You really expect me to just not have a mailbox because you cant keep your facility secure? So i have to go to the post office every day DURING A PANDEMIC to wait in a 20+ person line to get my insulin? Not only that but ive had my mail personally stolen from over 6 times over the years not and the lock changed twice. This place is shady and always has been from the rocks being thrown at 10-20 car windows all lined up multiple times to the non-existent security in a high crime neighborhood. Not to mention theyll tow your car for petty reasons with no notice at all. Flat tire? towed with no notice even though they say they will. Hot day and you used your AC? Well they thought it was a coolant leak which is designated a safety concern and its towed immediately. Car registration late 1 month due to covid and the slow usps system? Towed! The police dont even do this to expired tags you morons. Im active in the community so I get to hear all the horror stories from my neighbors. The good reviews here are so obviously fake or bought its not even funny. Ive never seen such a tow happy place, they obviously get kick backs from the tow service because it boarders on sadistic. To tow cars that are up to date and not leaking because they havent moved in weeks during a global pandemic is sickening and you should be ashamed of yourselves Ive heard this happen now to 6 different neighbors since this started. Ask any person living here and theyll have stories to tell you. I can go on and on about how insane this place has been but its not worth it, with this many bad reviews youre a fool to still choose this place to live let alone raise children.EDIT : You are obviously not committed to doing anything to assist us as residents. This is going on months with no mail area, I am STILL having to go to the post office during a pandemic as an elderly at risk individual. I understand a few weeks if you were doing work on the mail room but my apartment directly overlooks it and you havent even tried. Its still just closed with a sign saying youre sorry. How hard is it really to have a contractor fix this? I know so many who are leaving and its no wonder I walk around now and see so many empty units, people are fed up with being treated like this and rightfully so. Ryan tries to help but can only tell me the script, I dont mean to bash the Guy but it is what it is and hes sure is better than the blonde short haired lady who worked there before Keegan who was phenomenal. I called and was just told thats its closed still. No est time of reopen and it was quite obvious nobody cares. You expect me to pay the same rent during a pandemic, fine. But dont expect loyalty from your tenents when you ask that and close down all facilities and maintenance is now emergency only, and im not even complaining because good for you for looking out for maintenance. It just sucks that you value your maintenance staff not being exposed to a deadly virus yet i cant even have a mailbox 2 months later so i dont have to go to a packed dirty post office just to get insulin to live.EDIT #2- This is absolutely insane at this point. I dont even know what to say anymore with this place. I am now hospitalized with COVID and the only outings I took were to the post office because of YOUR INCOMPITENCE!! I had my groceries delivered for an entire year and havent seen my grand kids but have to go to the post office for my life saving medication delivery and I am now sick. I HATE THIS! YOU PEOPLE MAY HAVE JUST KILLED ME with your complete lack of care! It is now 3 -4 months with no mailboxes so every resident here has to make trips to the post office during a pandemic and nothing is being done. You are a fool if you see the most recent 1 star reviews and you still choose to live here I cant say enough about how much any person and especially families need to avoid this place AT ALL COSTS if you value your safety or your personal property
Very quiet, gated community. Reasonably priced. The staff is super friendly and helpful, one of the office staff even went out of their way to help me jump start my car when my battery died over the summer. The maintenance team is well staffed with efficient and knowledgeable maintenance techs, most of which have either been here for years, or actually live on the property, so they know what they are doing. The best part is, I do not have to go to the laundromat in the cold anymore to do laundry since they have washer and dryer hookups in the units! Great place to live, I even referred a friend and they gave me a good referral bonus! highly recommend.
Judy the site manager, stole 340 dollars cashed our rent check and is now expecting us to pay 360. I called the money order people and they said the check was cashed, wasnt my family, Judy.
Overall and alright place to live. Kinda pricey considering the area. When I moved out I was charged $50 for a parking sticker. They arent re-usable so it is just a way to stick it to the customers.
If I could rate this any lower, I would. Only reason Judy and Ryan!!!! Awful!!!!
Ive been living here for 2 years and have never had a problem.Management is amazing. Report something and in the morning theyre here. Friendly staff.I mind my own business. Now I Have great neighbors now that the racist old man got evicted.❤ I love this place ❤
Honestly not a bad place to live. Most the people that are complaining are the type of people that love to complain. I never had an issue with the staff or anyone while I lived there.
Not really sure why there are all these bad reviews except that people get their car towed because they dont live there or dont park correctly.. The people in the office are super helpful, they have security at night, theyre gated, and they just renovated the laundry room so that you can use cards instead of hoarding quarters all week! The buildings are a little old but maintenance gets to everything super fast.
Ive been in these apartments for over 2 years. The staff is all friendly, and Ive not had any issues. Just some notes on things I see other comments about.- I did have visitors have their car towed and it did cost them around $250 to get it back, but it was after telling them to use visitor parking (Which they previously used) and didnt. With that said, I think its a nice policy since parking would be a nightmare otherwise.- In comparison to other apartments Ive lived in these are maintained fairly well, but some of the buildings are old so there are some things that could use repairs/upgrades. I feel the price accommodates for that.- Ive put in requests for repairs/fixes and have had same week response for all of them.- Havent had any break-ins or similar issues.- Management gives a heads-up well in advance if they need to visit the apartment.- Pool is well kept, although I personally dont really like community pools so I havent used it more than twice.- No bug issues (in comparison to Summer Grove where they were everywhere)For being cheaper apartments in the springs, these are definitely the best of that group in my opinion!
Great price. The apartments are simple but nice. I believe her name was Heather in the office. She is always nice and wanting to help. Ashley, the lead manager on the other hand, I dont feel can be trusted. She does her job without care for anyone except the property, and it shows. She lacks honesty, and a desire to help people, not herself. The only other thing I would take notice of before moving here; this is a rough neighborhood outside the complex. The people in the complex are nice and good for the most part and the fences/gates do a good job of keeping the surrounding area people out.Other than that, I would recommend these apartments. Super low cost of living compared to northern Colorado and decent amenities. Good luck.
I love Western Terrace. The girls in the office and I believe his name is Brian, are very kind. Thank you guys so much for working as hard to make this a nice place to live. I’ve never had any problems living here and I am going on my fourth year. I’m 69 years old and I have been renting since my wife passed away and my kids took over the house. The house was just too big for me to handle anymore and the kids have lots of fond memories there. They also love my apartment and they come to visit me all the time. The next time they come to visit I will bring them to the office to meet the staff. They are helpful and considerate. I see how hard they work and I appreciate that very much. I have never posted a review on the Internet before but after reading some reviews other people have left I am going to make it a priority to give positive reviews to the places that I appreciate. Nowadays it seems like everybody is just so negative and everything is somebody else’s fault. If we could only go back to the good days where we were all neighbors and look out for one another that would be great. I try to pass that along to my kids and now to my grandkids. By the way, thank you to the maintenance guys for keeping the pool so nice. It sure was great this summer. All my best,Walt.
I’m not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. We just moved in a couple days ago and so far so good! I don’t see any bugs, the ladies in the office are nice and helped me when I called down today for some help. As for the towing, I think as long as u follow the rules you should be fine. Our unit is older then the one shown to us, the trim could definitely use replacing but other then that it’s really comfortable here. Hopefully it stays this good! ☺️UPDATE: 6 Months later and still the same, very nice office staff and maintenance staff. We haven’t had any issues.
I’ve never hated an apartment complex as much as I have hated the Western terrace apartments. Where to begin1. You get towed for the stupidest reasons, such as not having your permit on the right side of the windshield. If your permit happens to fall into the car floor, guess what? Still getting towed. And you have to pay $500 every time your car gets towed! $500!!! Friends and family will most likely be towed!3 You will be tuned for not having your heater at a certain temperature!2. Management is incredibly disrespectful and always regards everything as your fault! They told me my parking permit falling onto the ground was my fault and that I would still have to pay the $500!!!3. Maintenance is always incredibly late! My shower head was not working well, and it took THREE WEEKS for maintenance to come fix it!4. The washing machines seem to come from the 1950s. And even though management said they’d be replaced, it’s been over two years and thus far, nothing has changed.5. This neighborhood is not the safest. I have heard gun shots numerous times since living here.RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM WESTERN TERRACE. The hassle is just not worth it. Management seems to thrive off of milking you of every last penny you have.
This apartment is amazing! A lot of the bad comments are coming from people who clearly didnt follow the parking rules! they tell you upfront they will tow your car if you dont follow the rules. The apartments are older and for them to be older they are very clean. The staff ls always ready to help. My apartment never had been broken in and l never see homeless people. If your concern is safely, they allowed me to get an alarm. only complain is the old appliance but for the price its amazing.
I lived here for two years and never had a problem with the staff. Apartments are clean and front staff is professional. whenever I needed something fixed it got done within 24 hours. The only problem I had was with parking....if you dont have a sticker you HAVE to park in visitor parking. They boot people DAILY. All in all a great place.
I currently live here and love it. The apartments are beautiful inside and out. Those other reviews are people who are mad about their cars getting towed. Management made very clear on how strict the parking was before i moved in. Now everyone who is indigenous to Colorado springs says this is in the bad neighborhood but being from Ohio i know what a bad neighborhood is. I feel completely safe. Its gated and locked at night with security guards at the entrances. Come and check it out its a great community, with a lot of military personnel so its fairly quiet and behaved. Make your own judgment guys.
I have edited this review from a one star to a four star. I experienced some towing issues with management but they have now addressed the problems and reached out to show they want to fix any issues we may have. Previously, we had our parking permit on the window, but because of temperature changes, the adhesive is weak and it fell onto the front passenger seat of our car (still visible). The towing company didnt care to look at the seat and towed our car for no permit. When we asked them to walk us to the car (to show them our permit was rightfully there), they refused and demanded money ($230). The regional manager was very understanding and helped make sure we did not have to pay it.
Apartments are nice but management is HORRIBLE. And they will tow your car and charge $200+ for something as simple as your parking sticker being on the wrong spot on your windshield. Pay the extra money and find a decent living space with management who actually know their heads from their butts.
Great for the price! very clean and l feel safe with the security in the front! Im enjoying my stay.
Ive lived here 2+ years and never really had any issues. Just hated the towing situation. People cant have their cake and eat it too smh complaining about how you get one parking sticker per person! Yes parking is really limited especially for our guest but hogging up 2 parking spot for both your cars is just selfish! If they were to extend visitor parking that would be AMAZING!!
Every apartment complex isnt going to be a 5 star resort but when i lived here it was good. i had no notes on my door about stupid stuff and it was usually quiet, i am not military so it being close to base didnt benefit me but im actually thinking about moving back in a few months cause its close to alot of things and they are set at a decent price. people give one star over the smallest issue!
When we need something repaired the maintenance are quick to repair it. This place gated and we feel safe living here.
The people in the office wont help u when u have issues. The two people on either side of me leave trash out side the door. Stinking diaper bags from where she babysits and is not supposed to. Which Ive told them s year ago and it still continues. People park in motorcycle parking, have cars with flat tires sitting for weeks. Wheres midnight toeing? They arent doing their job either. My dishwasher has leaked forever, finally got s new fridge thanks to the maintenance man. But you know garbage sitting outside may draw bugs and I dont want that! Need to have someone walking around daily for these issues. Too lazy!Today February 27. Still have car with flat tire taking up parking space. I parked my car in the last slit, next to motorcycle parking. This morning I go out to get in to go to WORK. and someone parked in the motorcycle parking slot, with a car and their door guy mine and dented it. NOW WHAT!?!!!?! LICENSE PLATECBD 806Today March 5, still have white car with flat tire taking up a perfectly good spot. Park it on landmark. So inconsiderate. Cars still park in motorcycle parking.I thought we were only allowed two vehicles for apartment. They have five! SmhMarch 14 2019. No better, still have people parking in motorcycle parkingApril 2, 2019 still no new dishwasher but someone else got one. Weve been here almost five years, never had an issue til the past 8 months and has just gotten worse. We found a nicer place with security and cheaper for more square footage! So the end if April we are outta here. Its been real! Real noisy when u have rednecks above ur head with men coming and going, kids screaming.....beating, banging, yelling! Dont they realize they are in an apartment?!?!🤔🤔🤔😲🤪 Good bye!
These apartments are fine. People are just coming on here to write reviews about bugs and no heat because theyre mad they got towed or evicted. And by the way, there is no A/C. So any review that says it doesnt work is ridiculous lol. Go get a real job instead of writing bad reviews because youre upset.
This apartment has been a terrible choice the apartment alone isn’t all that bad but door frames have splatters of paint on them. My fridge leaks water in the inside of my fridge and has caused our fruit to go bad and mold over due to the water pudding up in our fridge, told the front office and nothing was done about it, one single large burner completely came out of the oven somehow just popped out and doesn’t work anymore, the towel rack in the bathroom literally fell off the wall without anyone even touching it. Super dangerous area. Heard multiple gunshots since living here for on 3 months. Also not to mention this morning LITERALLY watched a man get stabbed on the sidewalk outside my window (luckily I didn’t feel in immediate danger since I was on the second floor and a tree probably kinda blocked full view of me starring) but this fight resulted in car damage in the parking lot and a man being actually stabbed and a puddle of blood RIGHT outside of my window one single floor away. This is not the apartment you wanna live in If you want a decent quality, somewhat affordable place to live. Everything breaks. And it’s dangeroud
Very bad predatory management practices.they give you 3 days to pay the rent and if you have 1 hard moment paying they will be more then happy to take you to court.i have experienced this todayDO NOT APPLY TO MOVE IN HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT !
I have toured this complex, have my apartment reserved and am anxiously waiting to move in. The apartments are large and the balconies are larger than any I have ever see. The views are to die for. I have met people in the parking lots and they seem content with the place and the grounds look fantastic. Did I mention the view**? I have been reading many apartment review sites over the last few months since beginning my search for a new place to live and I know just the type of person who comes here and leaves these 1 and 2 star reviews and comments. They dont tell us half the story. They are the kind of people you and I dont want as our neighbors. They park illegally, their friends take up our parking spaces, and they park their junker cars next to ours. Then the get mad and come here and leave these bad reviews. Come see Western Village and you will see. Living in an apartment is not as nice as owning your own home but these are much nicer than most for the price.
Ive lived here for 4 1/2 years now. Upon initially moving in I thought that this place was great. Gated, Pool, Hot tub, Park for the dogs and children, Small Gym and Computer lab. Somewhat roomy for one person, fireplace, balcony, dishwasher etc.. and the rent wasnt so bad. After a while I started to notice a change in everything and everyone. It took the repair guys almost a month to repair small things like my sink, or curtains. Im currently waiting for my gas fireplace to be repaired and nothing has been done. Ladies in the office dont really like helping you if youre a familiar face. It was almost as if I was annoying to them. Every so often my check is late and I would just miss the due date by literally a day and due to the fact that the computer wouldnt allow them to waive the late fee i would get charged $50. I would pay it, but you would think after 4 years of being a loyal tenant they would help you. Rent went up every six months and i just received a letter that it will be going up again. Ive finally decided that as much as I pay for rent I could find a house with double the space, a yard and some privacy. My personal opinion is that this is a horrible place to live and after being here this long I wish I had started with a house in the first place. Not to ruin anyones experience, because not all experiences are the same..
I live for about 15 years and help out when they need it. But they do not no that I eeam a Police commishiner at Providence Rhode island. My job is to hold peace. But you see some do not believe me.now people call me Spiderman I was at the Walmart and a mom and dad was pushing a child in a shopping cart and they were putting food in the car and they were not watching the child the cart was rolling with the child in it mom and dad look and cry but I run fast stop the car save the baby you should take a look on the baby face and give the baby back to the family they think me and said thanks Spiderman and I said your wilcome. And left. Raymond Charron.
I’ve lived at this place for a while now. My experience has been ok, i thnk better than most, but things could be better I guess. I would give it 3 stars. The apartments themselves don’t look as clean as the model apartment, but they are nice apartments given the area of town, and it has a nice little park in the back. The maintenance crew is nice, I think they do the best with what they have. but those are really the only positives about this place. The carpet is generally of the cheap variety. There is NO AC. You are reduced to buying a window unit. And in my experience the first floor apartments lose heat like crazy while the top floors can’t get rid of it.I’ve never used the pool or hottub. (There’s something about not trusting if ppl showered before use, and/or if kids are uriniating in them. No thanks).I haven’t had my car broken into or towed, (the sticker is where it’s supposed to be). But it sucks that so many people have had problems with that. The security doesn’t do anything. All they do is sit in their car by the leasing office all night. The management is ok.. (i haven’t experienced anything that needed to be taken to court).. but if someone wants to terminate a contract there sholdnt’ be burnt bridges over that.Half of the facility washer and dryers are always out of order.. How hard is to invest in some quality equipment? The DO raise the price of rent every six months..The walls are almost paperthin. The ‘gym’ at the complex is quite lackluster.. The cardio equipment Is hardly maintained, if not at all.. they just purchased a NEW treadmill and now it doens’t even turn on. The only treadmill that works is about to fall apart by how rickety is feels. The stair master doesn’t even turn on.. (but they keep it because ppl can still use it, despite it being broken).I’d say there are better places to live in town if you can find them. Rent here keeps going up despite the overall quality of the apartments keep going down.
Great place, not the best neighbor hood. Friendly staff nice neighbors nice apartments
This apartment complex is awful! Ive lived here for a year & a half due to unfortunate timing when our lease went up we didnt have any options of moving so we resigned.Ill just make a list of everything Ive experienced:They say the have a heated pool: False pool is always coldThey say their Hottub is open year round: False they take it apart during the winterPool hours: False some days its closed early with no explanationSecurity: a joke they sit in their car by the office. One night I witnessed a car break down right inside the gate & the truck behind them got frustrated & hit them & drove in security never came over I stopped helped them push their car a little ways up & helped them jump off their car to get it started again. Security still never came to check on them so I went to let them know what happened & the security guard got out of their vehicle & started yelling at me saying they should have moved faster as he was yelling at me his 2 dogs 1 pitbull jumped out of his car & started towards me while aggressively barking so I got back in my car & dropped it.Maintenance: your not allowed to work on anything yourself & when maintenance fixes something they just do the minimum to make it seem fixed. Such as1. my toilet handle fell off they put a used one on that didnt fit my toilet & constantly makes my toilet run.2. Closet doors (from the 90s) are constantly falling off. They said it was because the bottom rack was off center so they just took of the bottom rack now the doors still constantly fall off but also swing back & forth & my daughter is always getting her finger caught.3. Shelfs in kitchen always falling off because the plastic holding them up is so old its deteriorating4. Window shutters for balcony falling off because they are worn out.5. Balcony creeks & smells of dog urine and part of the corner of balcony is about to fall through but they told us there is nothing they can do till it completely breaks. When we first moved in there was nails sticking out all over the place.6. We camped in the rain with our 1 year old daughter while we waited 3 weeks to move into this apartment when we moved from out of state because they said they were waiting for the carpets to be cleaned. When we moved in I vacuumed before moving in furniture because Thats just what I do & I filled my dyson vacuum 3 times with cat hair before I gave up & just started moving stuff in. So I dont know what they consider carpet cleaning.6. When we first moved in I asked them to fix the cocking in the bathroom because it was missing in many places on the bathtub & the bathroom sinkThe bathroom sink still leaked & caused terrible mold under the sink Im still waiting to have this fixed I have turned off the sink & locked up this cabinet.7. They never give you the full details when asking for information. We wanted to get a new dog so I asked them for information on restrictions & what all they needed for a new dog & they said that they need shot records from a vet. So we bought a $900 puppy & went to vet & got him vaccinated & registered & went to office with paperwork & they then decided to tell me that they dont accept anything under a year.8. I dont know what ppl are talking about on the towing because constantly ppl are parking here with out parking stickers even in handicapped parking spaces & Ive called towing company several times & they never towed any of them.9. Dumpster areas are dirty, homeless ppl are always roaming parking lot, gates are always locked & unlocked at different times, for a long time the gates were broken & left open, half of the washers & dryers are always broken, mail room by office (entrance to pool) is dirty, a lot of sketchy ppl are moving in here now & its becoming extremely unsafe. There are tons of break ins & theft & scary ppl approaching me & my 2 yr old daughter in the parking lot asking if they can chill with us or if I have money I can give them.11. Rent is raised every 6 months12. The office has no care for neighbors threatening neighborsSo much more
Not military or family friendly. We got kicked out for my son playing during the day. The management is absolutely disrespectful. The apartments them self and the view are the only positive things
Please consider this a warning to go elsewhere, even if it means paying a little more.Ive lived in about 10 diffeent apartment complexes throughout my life and this is the worst one by far. I was new to Colorado Springs and didnt know the area very well upon moving here but learned quickly this is not a safe location. My apartment has been broken into and my boyfriends work truck has as well. This was my breaking point to get out of here. Also, if you have children this is the worst school district Colorado Springs has to offer (District 2).I understand that is not necessarily the apartments fault but here are some examples of what was within their control where they failed the customer.1) Upon moving in from out of state, the carpets had several stains and smelled of dig urine throughout the apartment. When reported I was basically told nothing could be done unless I moved all my stuff out. After driving 2.5 days, no storage unit lined up and having to return our Uhaul truck we were basically screwed. The carpet should have been replaced instead of a half a$$ shampoo.2) I had expired registration stickers on my license plates-did not realize this until a sticker was placed on my window advising I had 24 hours to renew or else my vehicle would be towed at my expense. When I explained to the office that I didnt realize they had expired and requested a more reasonable time frame to have it renewed, such as a week, since I had to be at work and couldnt request off at such a short notice, they showed no empathy and suggested I park on the street until renewed.3) Maintance-Theyre older apartments so I understand things will go wrong. I dont make many maintance reports unless its something major but when I have, its rarely corrected the first time. The only time it was resolved the first time was when it was an emergency ticket for my locks to be changed from being broken into. Other than that its a lot of unnecessary back and forths. Also, living here you will hear everything. We often hear neighbors arguing and cussing. Overall, its just not a good area to live...
We were robbed, vandalized, and had our car towed while living in these apartments. (Our parking sticker was on the car by the way, it had just fallen off in the middle of the night and was visible on the dash board! They have a tow truck go around most of the day and all night looking for cars to tow and then charging about $250 to get them back). The apartments themselves were pretty decent and we didnt have a problem with them or with noise. The view of the mountains is really nice, and the staff is usually helpful. The appliances are outdated, but we didnt mind the look of the apartments. The area definitely has a moderate amount of crime and the apartments are pricey for the type of area ($850 for 2bed/2bath not including all utilities).Be cautious if you do move here. It can be an okay experience (like ours was for a little while), but it can also be a disappointing one.
Some of the staff are very rude. Ive lived here for 11 months and have always paid my rent on time. The staff and management are very crook, they charge u $50 for late fee and $5 everyday and they will send you to court and the court fee is $287. Ive been robbed 3 times and my friend was even shot and me friends cars have been towed few times, they have to pay like $300 to get it back. I just got a notice few days go asking me to surrender the apartment for no damm reason. I went to the office and asked why they asking me to move they told me they have the right to cuz my lease has ended and they wont let me renew or give me at least 2 months to save up money for a new place. If youre moving into this apartment make sure u have extra money saved for a new place cuz theres a chance they will ask u to leave when ur lease ends. I hate 98% of the staff!
They use licensed thieves to patrol the parking lot and tow vehicles. Be prepared to spend $500 to get your car back even if you live there. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. You will lose your car and your credit will be ruined when you leave.
They have bed bugs and roaches in most units. They will tow people that are visiting you. They dont have working heating units. All of their appliances are.from the 1950s. Do not.rent here I repeat do not rent here.
This is the worst place i have ever lived in my life i will never recommend any one to ever ever EVER live here i have been here for about 4 months and have had the worst experience i get noise complaints all the time when i have 2 children one of them being 8 months old so if im not loud enough to wake her up then i know for a fact im not loud enough to bother other people. not only that but i had a friend stay the night (military) and he parked in the visitor parking and he got towed when we called and asked they told us that everyone had to have a decal even if you were just visiting. no one ever informed us of this. they had plenty of time to give me some sort of notice between the noise complaints and the fat security guards harassing us they could have told us something they told us that the rule was in effect since June 1st that is false they lied and i will be going to the office on Monday to get the $277 i had to spend on getting his car out of the impound
Nice apartments inside, rude mgmt. HORRIBLE AREA.three of my friends got towed . one was running upstairs not give minutes and they towed it. I crashed my car and it was towed for being inoperable when it wasnt. a friend was stopped at the stoplight fountain and Chelton and some one tried breaking in his car. you hear gunshots every day.the year round jacuzzi hasnt worked since Ive lived there. just not worth the price. 900$ a month plus utilities. to live in a horrible area.
This place is NOT SAFE! Rent is freaking ridiculous for what they fail to accomplish. This was suppose to be a gated community, they took off all the locks on the walk in gates so now homeless roam through out the parking lots, digging through dumpsters as I took a picture of today. Breaking into cars, 4 months ago it was 5 am and I was 8 months pregnant trying to get into my car to go to work and some panhandler ran over and blocked me from pulling out or getting out of my car demanding change. And they keep jacking up the price of this place, when it takes forever to get any maintenance done and no upgrades at all. Jamie in the leasing office rolls her eyes and plays on her phone and is so snooty! Security is a joke, they sit by the leasing office all night and dont ever move and this a pretty big apartment complex and the office closes at 5 or 6 and security doesnt come on until 10ish and for those 4 or 5 hours there is no one to contact about anything other then escalation to the police. The office will tell you to wait.
Ive lived here for a year and a half, the management is rude and will try to screw you over any chance they get, the appartments are not well maintained, they tried to kick me out for having a service animal even after I provided all of the paperwork they asked for they threatened to come in my apartment and said they do not need notice. On one occasion my parking permit fell off my windshield onto the floor and tried to tow my car, the guy hadnt even hooked it up yet and they made me pay 70 dollars to leave it and would not let me get into my car to show them the permit. I had a girl come pick up baby clothes that I posted on Craigslist, she had her two kids with her and ran up for maybe 10 minutes and they towed her car, and I had a friend park right next to visitors parking (the sign wasnt visible because of the snow) so she thought she was in visitor parking and they towed her car within an hour. There are maybe 10 visitor parking spots for the 200 or so apartments here, and even with a permit I can never find parking anywhere near my apartment. Dont move here, this place is terrible.
Ive lived here for a year and a half and have NEVER paid rent late, I dont party or make too much noise, I was told today that if I want to renew my lease I can only sighn a three month or go month to month and pay an extra 100 a month. I dont want to move right now with two kids and I feel like they are trying to force me out, from what Ive heard they do this so they can raise the rent every three months. I tried to call and ask why I couldnt sighn a six month or year leese like I had the option too before and they told me it was because there were none of my floor plans open, so because all the apartments are rented you wont let me sighn a year leese deipite my never paying rent late? It makes no sense and when I moved in I was never informed that I would only be able to sighn a three month leese if the apartments were full. You would think they would want to keep there tennents who pay rent on time not force them out. I will be talking to a lawyer.
Apts are cheap and clean, maintenance fix stuff good, managers are knoledgable and friendly
They look nice, but looks are deceiving! If you live here, you will get screwed over monthly.
This Apartment Complex is HORRRIBLE!!!!!! I would never recommend anyone to live here. First off there is no air conditioning which you might think in your head aw well thats not bad but it does get miserable. Second we currently always get noise complaints when we rarely ever make any noise. Literally one time we were making dinner had the door open the security guard came up told us we had an noise complaint and he didnt even understand why. And last this is what really makes me mad about this place. Recently they have been towing cars; i am just a friend of a resident and last night my boyfriends car was towed from visitor parking because it didnt have a permit sticker. So you are telling me that the manager of Western Terrace is going to inforce a new policy and not let their residents no? So we spent 300+ to get the car out because we werent informed that there was a new policy. Please if you think about getting into an apartment dont go here. Youll really regret it!!!
No complaints.
The rooms do not have the emenities that they promise and No air-conditioning or heater
6 worst months of my life.
They never answer the D@#* phone during office hours
This place is a joke not once have i been late on rent there is no guards here at night as they will tell you, the model apartment is the only thing you will see and if you get a apartment looks nothing like the model one, also there is a towing company that comes in every night around 1am and breaks in cars illegally tows cars and i have took many of pics of them and made a complaint to the office they will blow you off this place is not a place to call home its worse then the complex across the street
Absolute WORST!...heat wont work in the winter, A.C. wont work in the summer, roaches bed bugs etc....staff doesnt help either, it always Not their problem if rather live ANYWHERE but here...dont fall for it!
These money hungry people are just ridiculous and now my sister has to take them to court thank god she took pictures when she moved out.
