While staff were reasonable in taking care of the few issues with the toilet coming up from the floor and the track on the pantry storage area being bent up and fixing this issue so the door could open and close, the price for these units are just simply not worth the money. Theyre old, paint is chipped up everywhere and and many of my surely itd be at least this nice at move in expectations for me were not even met, and the bar was pretty low as I was pretty desperate to find a place.Wouldnt call it a recommendation per se but if I were to tell anyone about this place itd be someone who needed a place desperately and needed it centrally located for transit/job needs.

It was super great calling in today. I was able to speak the manager who was very polite and knowledgeable of the community. I cant wait to stop in and visit.

Imagine paying around $1000 a month and they wont even spend $1 to replace the extremly loose outlets, they just duct tape things instead of ordering new outlets and plates which are LESS THAN $1 AT HOME DEPOT. WOW. SHOCKER? They wont even spend $1 none the less below $20 to replace anything in general.. the penny pinching here is extremely insulting when you are paying top dollar for what is an outdated old hotel.I would suggest you dont reply to my review with your bs.

I have lived here since February. So far the manager is nice and willing to help me out with this apartment. I was in a dangerous situation and he went out on a limb for me. He was able to get me in quickly. The maintenance guys.....well we need some more for just this complex. Otherwise they are kind and nice. The complex its self is quiet and pet friendly. So far no major incidents. Bug and rodent free.

Great big trees. Best shower in any apt in which Ive lived. Manager, Gabby, is Wonder Girl. Not perfect (kitchen Id do differently, uncovered parking, landscaping nice but could still use help, etc.). But quiet, no problem residents, a nice pool, enough closet space to prevent having to rent a storage unit, and people in maintenance have been quite helpful.

First and foremost the manager Fernando is totally human, most of the time my experiences with apartment management is no less than a conversation with a robotic asstard...but besides the great manager, the apartments are super nice, with trees that keep it shaded. Seems pretty quiet also, and close to a lot of convenient places

This is a great community and a surprisingly quiet place to live given the proximity to Academy Blvd. Its affordable and a good price for what you get. The parking lot on the weekends after 10pm is a little sketch. The Tanglewood apartments across the way have a lot of police activity. The laundry room can get really crowded, and its not always very clean because some folks dont think they need to clean their messes up. All in all, its a good place to live, and the staff is a gathering of awesome superstars.

I regularly drive by the neighborhood for this property and I have to say... The community is well-maintained from the exterior. Clearly Maintenance gives a damn and so does the manager. Good job!

The landlord does not answer his phone when he is in the office. Also does not try and help the residents. Neighbors are blasting music at 3 am in the morning. Nothing is done to keep the apartments up to date with plumbing. There is no communication between the landlord and the residents. Prices to live here are ridiculous and they go up every time you renew a lease. Landlord is never in the office when he should be with no note on the door of office.Abandoned cars in the parking lot and cars parking in handicapped spots when they do not have a handicap tags. Its a great place in the parking lot to get vandalized, broken in to or stolen. The landlord does not want to work with you on making payments to rent or giving options on how to work with rent. No help to the lower class who are barely able to buy food and pay all the bills.

Love the place!I moved here from Michigan and have lived in a few not so decent places.. but I finally found somewhere I plan to stay (:It’s super quiet, clean, and the workers are so attentive.They got me in fast, easy, and the prices are perfect for me as a working college student.My papa is a renter and I am a huge critic but the company has been so great!The acceptance of pets is a plus (:5 stars for sure.

Absolutely love this place, I was new to the area and didn’t have a lot of my questions answered before I got there they were more than patient and helpful, super friendly and made sure I had everything I needed, the units were very clean and you could tell they were taken care of! Satisfied with my visit! And they will definitely be on my list for a second visit.

I have found that after the management of this apartment came under Craig, my experience has been significantly more pleasant. I have had all issues addressed in a timely manner. I will say some of my neighbors seem to have no sense of responsibility, thinking the complex owes it to them to watch over its residence like an adult daycare.

My husband and I have lived in our 1 bedroom apt. at Featherstone for over a year. We have never had to call maintenance for any reason. Our unit is insulated so well till the the small heater in the bathroom heated the whole house. There is no A/C but it stays cool with just the use of our livingroom and bedroom fans. Its always quiet, no parties and no loud music, swimming pool and pet friendly. You wil love it here. So come on over ask for Ms Gaby and be our neighbor!

I moved here in October of 2015 from out of state and I didnt have many options... I didnt have a job yet and my savings were limited I also have a dog so many other places were not pet-friendly or wanted a ridiculous amount for pet charges... I ended up choosing Featherstone because the rent was cheap and it met my needs as a single individual for a while... Now that things have changed a bit and Im more established, making more money and need a bigger space to live, my needs have changed. I would recommend this residence to anyone who is just starting out and doesnt have many options... other than that, it is flawed in many ways and I would not recommend any type of long-term stay here... the building is old, outlets in my apartment dont work, the roof has leaked multiple times and its hard to get into contact with the management to fix these things. Unfortunately most of my neighbors as well are loud and obnoxious, fighting into the late hours of the night and early morning sometimes. When I had moved in and initially signed the lease, they said that a security patrol monitored the parking lot multiple times every day and every night... since I have moved here I have not seen any type of security patrol ( which led to my car being broken into about a month ago). Obviously I will not be renewing my lease and would not recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a safe place to stay as unfortunately it is located in a bad area it seems...

Very friendly staff and always on their toes to help a resident in need. Great location and great asking price especially from where I came from. Happy all around.

Ive rented in dozens of places around the springs, and can say that I have been pleasantly surprised by my experience here at Featherstone.Craig was VERY helpful & went above and beyond what any property manager ever has for me.My move in was very fast! I was leaving a very toxic situation, and only had 2 days to get into a place! They worked around the clock cleaning, fixing, getting my apt ready for move in.Even gave me a box of goodies & tons of coupons for discounted stuff near me 🖤Rent is affordable & paid easily.The complex has been very quiet since my move in and that was a nice change for me🖤People seem to stay to thenselves, all staff Ive met has been overly helpful. Maintenance even stayed late after their shift to help me find my lost car keys the day I moved in!

A good start apartment for people who are new to Colorado Springs. Ive lived here for more than three years. I had Shun as my first landlord and he is fantastic at his job. And the lady right now is really rude & unhelpful.Pros: The laundry room is recently renovated - new washers/dryers with a credit card system. I am impressed with this. Also they installed new windows for every apartment. I love most of residents here. Very friendly. Also they have many dogs here and they are also very friendly.Cons: I didnt expect the carpet was going to be that bad. There were coffee/wax stains when I first arrived here. Downstairs residents can be noisy sometime, especially in the summer time. There were several times dogs poop bag were full for the week. I had to toss my dogs poop in the parking lots trash. A lot of molds are in the bathroom - no vent or fan. Also no major upgrades inside the apartment ever since I moved in here.But this is what you get with paying $625 a month.Edited: rent has gone way up now. Its 900 + now. Upping the rent price and no upgrades for over three years, its not worth it at this moment to move into this complex.

This is a beautiful area. Everyone is so friendly and it is quiet. Jamie is helpful and kind. She does what she can for everyone that lives here.

Management is fair and open minded to solutions and the park in the backyard creates a nice atmosphere!

I am very disappointed. I am trying to get an apartment and I have literally called maybe 20 times and they hang up and send me straight to voicemail. This place isnt worth it if they dont even want to talk to you. Its disgusting. Maybe treat your customers with more respect.

Ive lived here for 4 years. The rent has gone up 200 dollars but no upgrades. The laundry room is gross and Im never able to do my laundry because the washers and dryers are always being used. The neighbor next to me has his bass stereo system always going at all times of the day and night and Im unable to enjoy any time off from work when Im home because my apartment is rattling and shaking. The neighbor on the other side of me has some dogs and she lets them pee and poop all over the walkway so when people walk by they often have to step in the mess. Theres no dishwashers, no washers or dryers in unit, no clubhouse, no resident activities or events. The area isnt very safe to live in. Lots of outlets dont work, theres mold everywhere. No bathroom fan. I would complain about the lack of parking but I dont have a car so I wont rant about that.

I have lived here for close to a year and I am highly unsatisfied with my experience. When I first moved in Austin was the manager and I thought that she was very professional and enthusiastic about her job. But somewhere along the line she stopped working here and there was NO notification to the residents about the change. Whoever the new manager is, she is rude, blunt and unhelpful. The grounds are always a mess with animal feces and random trash and branches lying around. They NEVER EVER EVER shovel snow or attempt to get rid of it in any way. This makes for a very dangerous parking lot, which is already too small for the amount of cars that park here. Last year, my car got stuck in the snow they dont shovel and I couldnt go to work because I had to spend three pointless hours trying to dig my car out. The maintenance isnt much better. The maintanence guy is very friendly but it takes freaking forever to get work orders done. A drawer in my kitchen has been broken since I moved in and it still hasnt been fixed. They do bug inspections but honestly they dont do anything during them. A guy walks in and takes a quick look around and then goes away so if there were bugs in the apartment nothing would happen about it. The inside of the apartment is very basic and cheap. The counters are gross, appliances are very cheap models and dont work well. They said that it was a new gas range in my apartment but the oven can barely maintain a constant heat so I always have to cook the food longer and longer to make sure I dont get sick and the gas burners always smell like smoke and set the fire alarm off (which gets set off really easily anyways). There is no fan in the bathroom which really bothers me because management simply said to open the window when showering. When its cold out I dont want to have the window open to let the cold air in and ruin a hot shower. The radiators obviously havent been cleaned in years because they smell like dust every time I turn them on. The neighbors are not only loud and obnoxious, but also creepy. A few smoke week and I can always smell it and it smells disgusting. The laundry facilities are terrible. There are not enough washers or dryers to accomodate the needs of the residents and other people come in and take your stuff and throw it wherever so that they can do their laundry without any regard to whoes was there before. I can never get ahold of anyone in the office and even if I leave a message they never respond. This is my first apartment but I am not satisfied AT ALL with my time here.

I made an appointment to view an apartment to possibly move there, but when I got there there was a sign saying they were closed for the day. They didnt notify me that our appointment was canceled. And as I walked into the courtyard all I could smell was animal piss. Very poor service and maintenance.

Hidden fees and unresponsive help desk. Would not recomened for anyone.

Lots of weed smokers👎
