I really liked this place. The owner was very nice but all the polishes looked old. The place was very dirty and tools were not sanitized. I saw my nail tech use a previously used file on me (looked very used and old) please sweet lady. Your clients do not want you to use a used porous item such as a file and buffer that you have used on people all week. Especially with a pandemic around us... please do better! New file and buffer for every guest is honestly the way you should operate to me.. I have gone to many nail salons and the ones that have a new one for each guest are always much cleaner. After that during the acrylic application she pulls out this white small basket that had the acrylic powder and liquid (monomer and polymer) and the entire basket was extremely filthy. Purple dried up liquid monomer all over it. It was bad.. all over the jar and basket... just filthy... at this point, all of my thoughts went straight to “I bet nothing here has been sanitized before this service for me”. Owner... please keep tools in obvious sanitized barbicide containers so your guests feel safe, please use clean unused files and buffers for each guest unless they are non porous, Please clean the baskets for nail services especially ones that you are pulling out in front of your guest... and lastly... please do not take phone calls during services to your friends. It makes your guests feel unimportant. Yes you took three calls while you were working on me.. and my first thought was okay maybe she is taking appointments, it’s not in English how would I know, but they were long conversations and at one point you propped your phone up to talk to them while you did my nails... it’s just not professional.. good luck to you and I hope you take my advice.Sincerely a licensed cosmetologist.

It was my first time coming and once I saw the place it seemed dirty. Nothing looked sanitized, especially the tools they used on me. Once my nails were done I realized 2-3 of my nails were crooked. I did have bubbles in most of my nails. I did feel judged for how I wanted my nails. The person that took me was talking on her phone a couple times and not apologizing about it. I was kind of in a rush but she kept answering her phone instead of focusing on my nails. I had a full set and a week later 2-4 nails off already came off! My nails last me more than 3 weeks at least! So I wouldn’t recommend.

The pedicure was amazing. I did not appreciate the tech that was assisting me to just get up and attend another client without even apologizing to me. My daughters tech was nice but left bubbles in her nails and hair from the bush. Unfortunately,this is my first and last time coming here.

Amy did such an amazing job, will definitely be going back to her. I think the place needs to be tidied up a bit and maybe add more vibrant colors to the place. But other than that great customer service.

Negatives:Poor cleanliness, the whole place looks like nobody cleaned it in ages with piles of nail bottles thrown every where behind the chairs.Poor manicure, many bubbles and streaks.You can’t sell a manicure with ugly nails!Positive:The owner lady and other ladies were polite and well manneredSunday hours

I really wanted to give this place more stars. The service was amazing. Such lovely ladies. The work of my bails was really nice. They even found just the color I wanted. Butttt this is my second time there and both times my no chip barley lasted a week. It’s literally peeling off of my nails in odd places and just coming off in chunks. I’m a stay at home mom with a 2 year old. I’m sure if I went in they would fix it but im short on time and people to watch my child so i need a no chip to last 2 weeks at least. So quality of product is very questionable

Honestly I don’t know why this place has good reviews. I’ve never gotten my nails done this bad! How can they let a customer walk out of the shop with nails like this. The only reason I’m giving this place two stars is because the ladies are really nice.

A hidden gem. I really really needed my nails done on a Sunday evening and they were one of the few open. I walked and tended to right away! The time and patience she had on my nail service I’ve seen no where else. Mind you I walked in 30 mins before closing! I’m super happy about the quality of work and will definitely be back! Amy and the ladies are wonderful! I went in with a very specific request for a no chip design and Amy went above and beyond to make sure it was exactly what I wanted! In addition, the pedicure I got was the best I have had in years. I am so happy to have found my new favorite nail spot!

This place is absolutely amazing! The ladies are so very friendly, and they do an amazing job! The lady that did my mani did a wonderful job, my hands felt so much better afterward and the color looked great! And the girl that did my pedicure, WOW! Took her time, made sure my feet felt wonderful and made me feel like I was getting my money’s worth and more. I will definitely be back here again. Yesterday was my first time at this shop, I was looking for a new place because my go to spot is too expensive now. My experience was great! So pleasantly surprised. The ladies were so friendly and did a fantastic job on my pedicure and full set. They really took their time and paid attention to detail. The prices are good as well! I am more than satisfied and will definitely be going back in the future!

I went here about a week ago for a full set. Apparently all the ladies that work on nails went home early that day because they had plans. (the owner told me herself at the end of my appointment) My experience was pretty terrible because of this. Had I known sooner I would have come back a different day.The first woman working on my nails clearly didnt know what she was doing and I tried to ask her to use less acrylic but she unfortunately didnt understand me due to a language barrier. The amount of acrylic hurt and burned my nails.A second lady came to my aid three nails in and just began filing all the acrylic done... it was pretty unsuccessful. She continued finishing the rest of my nails with acrylic and unfortunately she was not any better and kept reassuring me she was going to fix them at the end. Which was a lie. At this point my face was turning so red from anger and the pain the owner noticed and came to fix everything. She explained to me that everyone who does nails had plans so they left early and these were the ladies that only worked on feet. She spent about 30 mins just filing down and shaping my nails from all the acrylic. She apologized and told me to make an appointment more in advance next time with her. I was glad with the amount she was able to shave done and how she was able to reshape them. I felt feeling better about them. Unfortunately three days later the nails started popping off left and right. Waste of money and time! I was there for about 3 hours!

What a fantastic job from the whole staff at Illinois nails. So friendly and beyond welcoming! I got acrylic French ombré nails and a regular pedicure. French ombré is so hard to perfect and Amy went above expectations to make sure my nails were done just the way I wanted them done before I left the salon. She did an absolutely beautiful job. I did not get the name of the woman who did my toes but she did such a great job as well!!Thank you for making my nails look pretty for Easter!

Its very cathartic. I was so relaxed. I reccomend it for those individuals that are stressed on there feet all day and want to wine down. Theyre very meticulous and careful and clea. Ots my second time here and I will be making this my routin . Plus beautiful feet in the summer!!

Terrible customer service!! Waited an hour an a half for a pedicure and they did it in less than 10 minutes!!

I got my nails done today n one nail fail off already n almost all of them are lifting the no chip chipped and the pedicure was no good feet are still Rough. Giving two stars bc they said I can get them fixed so lets see if they can fix this mess 😤
