Glamour nails is my go to neighborhood salon. Linda, jason, quin do a great job with gel/acrylic/fills, ask for them. Their pricing is very reasonable and generally high quality results. I recommend going before rush hour at 4. I notice the quality of my nails are better when the salon is not packed/in a rush. Their employees are also very kind and helpful, never rude. I have and would refer/recommend getting your nails done here!

First, if there was an option to give this place 0 stars, I would. Every place has good and bad reviews but I thought I would give them a try despite the bad reviews… Please just don’t waste your time or money here. I got a new gel full set and got my old gel removed. They soaked my nails in hot acetone for almost an hour… my skin was so dry and peeling off. She used the drill over my cuticles carelessly, which caused me to bleed (see pictures). The gel powder was put on so thick and carelessly as well. My nails didn’t fully dry under the UV light and she started filing and putting lotion on my hands causing the nail polish to smear/ get air bubbles. My whole manicure was rushed and it took 2 hours because of how overbooked they were. The entire time it was chaotic in there. Workers yelling at each other, overbooking appointments and making people wait 25+ minutes when they made an appointment. They would take some walk ins but turn people with appointments away… it didn’t make sense. People were coming in with appointments and they never documented that, then demanded customers to show them which number they called. It was the most absurd and unprofessional thing to witness. I have no idea why this place is so packed. The entire time I felt stressed at how poorly ran this place was. The nail tech was all over the place, and barely focused on my manicure. I’ve been to places where it is jammed packed but I’ve never seen anything like this. It was not worth the $60 at all. Go somewhere else and pay a little bit more. I could have done a better job myself.

Paid $70 for a manicure and pedicure that looks like this. Pedicure was awful, I came back and asked to re do the two big nails and the owner told me that “no one can see this” and I’m over reacting?? Manicure has a ton of air bubbles that she couldn’t see and 2 nails chipped the next day from the “no chip” manicure. When I went back to see if they would be willing to redo any of my nails or give me my money back, I was insulted and laughed at as I walked out. Cheap prices = trash quality - don’t go here.UPDATE: felt like I needed to post twice because this place is trash. 3 days after my no chip manicure, every single nail peeled off like a sticker. I’ve gotten a lot of manicures over the years and have never seen anything like this. Added a photo for proof.Oh, and when I was at the salon I watched the employees dilute all their polish.

I had a lovely nail experience with Linda (such a sweetheart!). It was my first time at Glamour Nail and Linda could tell I wanted something other than the typical French manicure, she surprised me by suggested this lovely blue alternative. I’ve received so many compliments on my nails and the no chip mani has lasted well into 2 weeks. My roommates also had his nails done a pastel pink and they’ve also lasted longer than expected. The nail salon is right next to a pizza place and Chase bank which made it easy for a little after snack and to grab cash for tipping.

The windows are covered in slop splash. The dryer unit was grimy and gritty inside during my gel set and had dirt on the surface. I noticed that other units were the same. The towels werent new for my appointment. The utensils were not sanitized as is the law I think. Gross.

I love this place. Everyone is so kind. Jason is my go-to. He knows my look to the T! And he just gets better. So glad I found him. I always get dip on my natural nails. Both photos show a matte #4 pink.

Love getting my nails done here. I prefer acrylics with a gel coat because it personally lasts longer for me. These nails are past a month old and have grown out really well. I’ll be returning to get them filled in again. They are a hard working team and have been impressed with how they handle stressful busy days.

Quinn and her team of professionals are kind and hardworking people. I love getting my nails done here if I’m booking last minute or wanting to walk-in. She’s been a great manager from my experience and host every time I have came. Yes they stay busy all the time and appointments can run over. But just come in with the idea that nails are a process. Be ready to wait. Or just call and make an early appointment and get there on time. If you really don’t like the business go elsewhere. There are many nail salons in the city.

I went here for the first time to get a pedicure. They took me as a walk in and I had a great experience. The massage chairs are nice and all of the nail technicians were so nice. The price is not bad either :)

Not only were they disorganized, they completely ruined my nails, I paid $50 for acrylics nails, only to remove them and find out have a permanent indent in my nails until I grow them out. They started too far from the nail bed so I will come in quicker for a refill.

Best nail service Ive ever had! They taught me what to ask for so now I know! The only reason I dont give it 5 stars is because it gets noisy in there because of other customers talking loudly in their phones or to each other. I prefer silent or quiet spa settings.

Terribly done French manicure, the tips were done so unevenly. I would not recommend this place.

Awful!! I had finally grown my real nails out long and strong after at least a year and I got gel nails done here. ALL of my nails began to break after 2-3 days of visiting the salon. Not only did they break, but they all broke grotesquely short-to the point where my nails were bleeding. Will not be returning.

I love Glamor nails! Jason is the best! Everyone is so sweet and they really take the most precautions for COVID-19.

I went here and showed a picture of the nails I wanted. Needless to say my nails turned out looking like a 5 year old did them. The Manager told me “that’s the best we could do” and proceeded to give me a discount of 5 dollars. I’m not worried about 5 dollars when these nails are hideous. They only know how to do short nails here. The nails were so bad, I had to go to another nail salon to get them fixed because I couldn’t be walking around with those nails.

2nd time there and was happy with both times. Manni and manni and pedi.

That was the worst manicure I’ve ever gotten (and I have gotten MANY manicures). The lady who did my nails was in such a rush. She filed my nails unevenly and got offended when I asked her to fix them, saying she would make them look even with the color... I got a French manicure, and she did NOT make it look even (see pictures). My fingers burned in the UV light, and I left with no-chip polish stuck to my fingers, which she tried to scrape off semi-successfully. It was awkward and a bad manicure. I only gave 2 stars instead of 1 because they gave me a $2 discount for being a new client (which did not make it worth it).

I visited this salon for the first time for a full-service no-chip, mani-pedi on June 29th. Today is 7/14, over two weeks later, and still NO chip! :)) I certainly will be coming back here next time I need my nails done. I normally dont get them done regularly due to my profession (Im a housekeeper), but Kathy did such an excellent job, I definitely will be returning! She was really kind, friendly and attentive. Im amazed with these results, thank you so much.

Linda is the absolute best! She doesn’t a fantastic job. I have had some issues with a few other technicians, so I make appointments with her and get what I want every time.

I came in for an acrylic fill with some pretty shotty nails. My nail tech took the time to fill, reshape and paint with meticulous detail.All Covid precautions taken. Thank you for being open!

New update since 8 months ago: Had been going somewhere else, nails got long and strong. Decided to come back to Glamour because my new place had limited colors AND cost more (was over it) so came back to glamour for my favorite color and even got the guy I Liked, plus cheaper. Of course.. two of my nails broke lol they all became a little more fragile. So again... final call... will not go back here. Cheaper with more colors does not mean broken nails. Sorry guys!!

I personally will NEVER go to this place ever again!Im new to the neighborhood & decided to try it since its so close to home. I now have the WORST toenail fungus. One of my toes is completely swollen, red & hurting. And another nail crumbled right off the toe. Im disgusted & now have a long haul of treatments to endure to get my nails back. 😒

DO NOT GET YOUR BROWS DONE HERE. I called and asked if they could do my brows. They set an appointment and said no problem. the chair was not properly covered for a COVID experience, and I am not sure if the tools were cleaned. I was in a bind and had to get them done. When the woman was done, which was mostly tweezing vs. waxing, I was in shock. They did not look like they were on the same face. I was shocked and pointed it out to the woman. She already had taken far more off than I had requested so I did not let her attempt to fix it, so I went elsewhere. I WAS STILL CHARGED FOR THIS HORRENDOUS SERVICE DESPITE MY CLEAR DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE RESULTS. I would give 0 stars if I could.Unsure what their nail services are like but based on this experience of cleanliness & professional courtesy I would never go back in general.

I use to be a regular here and stopped coming because they would always double book. I came back today probably after 6 months and the exact same thing. They had plenty of people there but Linda is who I booked my apt with and called this morning to confirm... I walked in 5 minutes late and she had taken someone else. When I mentioned they said You were late ... so instead of just calling me they take someone else ? I drove 20 mins to make my apt and again they double booked. Its very unprofessional on their part and no respect for someone elses time. The man who did my pedicure did a great job. But I will not return again. Very poor customer service.

The owner of the salon is very professional. The workers here know how to do great manicures and pedicures. If you are in the Lakeview or Lincoln park area and looking for a nail salon, it’s definitely worth stopping here. I always get my pedicure is at the salon because they’re so clean and do a great job.

It was a beautiful and clean place but it was the Worst experience ever! She was not willing to listen to my request and had very little patience. She then proceeded to tell us to go to another shop because she doesn’t want to do my nail. Definitely won’t be going back there, terrible customer services!

Glamour nail salon is the only salon the does the job right. Im from Michigan and I refuse to do my nails anywhere else! I always wait until Im in Chicago to get them done at Glamour. Very nice staff and very thorough.

DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SHOP. Terrible customer service. The no chip polish chipped with in a week of me getting it. My nail broke less than a week of me getting it done and then they charged to fix it and had a bad attitude! Very rough and rude. Very unorganized as they don’t even keep track of your appointments they just take people as they walk in the door. Do NOT waste your money, terrible service.

I have been here a few times and have mostly enjoyed my experiences. After this last visit, I will not be going back. I got a dip on Wednesday and started to notice scratches forming under the top coat on Thursday. Some of the top coat also cracked off. I went back on Sunday and showed them a picture as well as my actual nails and they completely denied seeing anything. They told me the dip looked great and there was nothing they could do. I have gotten many dips and have never seen it look like this. I’m pretty bummed because the prices and location were great but that kind of treatment towards a paying customer is unacceptable!

I really dont enjoy writing reviews, but when it is noticeably bad I have to say something. Ive had manicures and pedicures that have been fine here, but my gel manicure is just not good. It took so long because my technician spent the majority of the time removing the clear polish that goes on the first layer of your nails with a nail file. It was very painful and unnecessary. Ive never had a technician need to do that before. My manicure looks sloppy and my nails were cut and filed unevenly. Its ok if you dont specialize in gel nails, just dont do them then.

The woman who did my nails did a horrible, horrible job. I asked her to do an almond shape and she either did not know what that was or was very bad at doing it. I stopped her over and over and told her no it was not correct and she still did not fix it. All of my nails are different lengths, shapes, and sizes. I paid $30 for a no chip manicure, almost all of my nails are chipped after only 2 days. She did not buff or soften my nails either so they are very sharp and uncomfortable.

Great manicure, and wonderful service from amazing employees. For some reason, my regular manicure from here lasted longer than other places. Just got my no-chip manicure, and everything looks perfect and everybody is so nice!

Don’t get you lashes done here. The lady held open my eye (usually, eyes are kept closed to prevent glue from getting), glue constantly got into my eye and caused me pain, and lastly, they fell out the very next day. I called to complain and try and get my money back, but they refused.

The nail salon has a good atmosphere but the nails I have are not up to my standard. One of my nails are crooked and the corner of one of my nails have chipped off (I just got them done yesterday in the evening). Not to mention, there are small bubbles under the nail polish on my nails.I don’t know the name of the person who did my nails but it was a male technician. I would not reccommend going to him.

Nails were uneven the experience was not relaxing or enjoyable and prices are on the expensive side for acrylics. The lady that did mine just couldnt understand what I wanted. Not coming back.

Had to wait 10 minutes before my pedicure so they let me sit and soak my feet in a massage chair for 10 extra minutes. thats a plus in my book! Great color selection, nice techs and they even gave me a new years gift.

Extremely disappointed. Came here after working an 8 hour serving shift for a relaxing pedicure and manicure. Instead of taking his time, my nail tech rushed through everything because they were suddenly busy. He blamed me when he would mess up, saying that its because my hands werent relaxed. This isnt the first time that Ive gotten my nails done, boo. Never had an issue before. I couldnt even get my boots on before he insisted that I get up for the next customer. Ive gone to this nail salon several times before and I dont appreciate being treated as if my comfort isnt important.

My favorite nail place!! Usually busy during after work hours, especially friday, but will do everything to work you in if they can. Very friendly staff that does a great job. The massage chairs could use a little sttention since the controls are all impossible to read. But if it doesnt work, just let them know and they will fix it or switch your station. The only nail place I go to.

I went in for an acrylic fill, the nail polish was obviously old because it was chunky and looked AWFUL on my nails.. the nail technician did not seem to care at all and after I asked to get another polish of the same color instead of taking the old chunky previous color off she kept layering it on.. HORRIBLE look. As well as my acrylic nails themselves are not sanded down correctly.. Will not be going back.

I went in for a full set no polish acrylic. She was rude and kept yanking my fingers and pushing them. I Finally told her she was hurting me and she told me to relax. She also charged me more then was advertised on their site and denanded a cash tip, I was very upset with the way she treated me and will never go back.
