They cannot do Nails! My cuticles are covered with acrylic. I would never ever come back to this shop ever again ! I can’t believe I let him play on my nails like that -__-

I’m leaving 3 stars because there is no order structure whatsoever even after signing your name. I was told to go sit in seat 6 for a pedi by the guy that sits by front door, 20 minutes into getting my feet soaked another young lady came & sat in a chair next to me (7) about 15 minutes after she’s been sitting w/o being soaked she complained about waiting so long & got up. Next thing I know she walking with a nail tech to another seat & he’s fixing her water & starting in her pedicure 😡 I go up front to speak to the owner & does absolutely NOTHING. I love how they do my eyebrows & Sonny is great & quick on my nails but there’s no mask enforcement on customers or nail techs or social distancing & I saw a big area of MODE near the pedicure seats 11,12, & 13!! Never going back .. OVER THEM AT THIS POINT!!

I went in on a Thursday to get my nails done and I took my daughter’s as well. The service that I wanted was 3 pedicures, two manicures and a fill in. We received are pedicures, but when it was time to receive the manicures for my daughter’s The owner David told me that they don’t do regular manicures just no chip which I thought was absolutely ridiculous. This ridiculous policy should have been stated from the beginning, I definitely won’t be back.

Being a diabetic they take care of your toes.

My nail tech is Lee, he is the best. They do provide good quality work. I’ve been going here for about 3 years now and no complaints!!!

They definitely do good nails but honeyyyy. This is Covid ground zero. Poor mask wear between clients and technicians, absolutely no social distancing and very disorganized. Not worth it in my opinion

This nail shop is large and stays pretty packed whether stopping in for a mani, pedi, fill, eyebrows or eyelashes you want to get in early. The staff ask what you need as soon as you walk in and tell you which numbered chair to go to for pedi. We went in on a Saturday and there were about 15+ staff working. My daughter loved her nails and they were exactly what she wanted, however she did rough them up some after leaving so there was a little chipping.

Anytime I have ever been unsatisfied with my nails, or if I have a chip in my polish within a few days after my service...David has always made sure I walked out of the door with a smile on my face. I usually go to Stephanie... but in her absence.. David always makes sure I’m satisfied.. I love this shop and will continue to go.

I have only seen negative videos that have occur at this establishment. Not only verbally but physically. Grabbing customers purses, hitting clients, and locking minors in the store?! This shop needs to be permanently closed. This is not a safe environment. I would never endanger myself or my 4 year old daughter. Please, consider going else where. Quick service. Great service (depending on the technician.) They lost a star because it never seems clean. There is always a layer of dust on the floors and tables.However, great go to place if you are in a hurry.

They do amazing work especially brows and lashes and reasonable prices. Go when they open though or on a Sunday +cash only on Sundays) otherwise its packed and the wait may be a long time. Still, theyre work is great

They are very reasonable professional and great at what they do....it’s like a family environment they build great relationships with their clients...Tina is my fav eyelash/eyebrow tech and David and Lee are my fav nail techs.

Bad customer service came in and wanted a full set the man glue my fingertips instead of the nail then when I tell them that the top of the nails were not glue on right to the point where if I go home n wash my hands or do any mild thing they would break off I ask to speak to the owner calmly and told the problem he begin to state calm down we can refuse your service as I’m politely telling him what’s wrong and can he fix it the man keep stating we can refuse service then begin to talk on his language which told they whole staff I’m complaining having them look at me as if I was being a problem and I ask can he fix the problem again he stated pay the $20 first then I will fix your nails I said no I will not pay before my nails are done and make sure they are right the way I want them that’s not how it go he treated me so bad that it was my first time there and was my last time there I can’t do rude ppl how do you run a business and treat your customers bad customers is always right no matter the issue only thing they did nice was soak the nails off that was glue to my finger please do not go to them

Attention DO NOT GO HERE! HORRIBLE SHOP! The employees disrespect and physically lock people in the shop when they aren’t happy with the subpar service and refuse to pay! There’s too much drama surrounding this shop! There’s a few videos on the web of them locking minors in the shop because their parents were unhappy with the services! In one video a woman was recording the incident (totally uninvolved) and an employee attempted to grab her phone! They’re ridiculous and should be shut down!

I’ve been going to this nail shop for years. I called at 3:30 pm ask what time they closed, ask about the services and tech I needed and wanted . Got there, was told by the nail tech get your feet done I’ll do your nails after . As soon as it was time to get my nails done she said she was going home. Who pays $40 to get there feet done and don’t get there nails. The time was then 5:30. I’m extremely upset. It wasn’t a lot of people . No One would stay to do my nails . When the owners not in it’s not ran properly. I’m writing this because I’m mad I live far I paid for a Uber just to get there and no one offered to take care of me! 👎🏾👎🏾

I definitely wouldnt suggest this nail salon for any service. My friend and I came in for pedicures and we were finished in well under 20 minutes (Im being generous). Before I could gather my belongings, I was being rushed out of my chair, by a woman running water for the next client. The man giving me my pedicure rushed through the service. The massage was not thorough and he didnt rinse my feet completely. I didnt feel welcomed or relaxed. The establishment left much to be desired as far as tidiness and organization are concerned. It is a fairly crowded space. There seems to be many chairs to accommodate a large amount of clientele at a time, but unfortunately, that seems to interfere with the care that should be put into each service.

So yesterday at around 7:00pm I went into the nail shop to tell them and show them the condition of my nails that I had just got done a week before. My nails literally looked like they had been on for 3 weeks! Before coming into the shop, I called and told them about the condition of my nails and the man told me to come in so they could take a look and I said okay. So I come in and I show the man at the front desk the condition of my nails and he asked me what would you like us to do? And I told him that I would like for my nails to be taken off and he said that the take off for my nails would be free so I said thank you so much. I arrived at the shop at 7pm and then the mean, nasty, impatient, disrespectful, inconsiderate owner called me to his chair at 7:45, so I had waited 45 minutes to be seen and let me tell you how this man acted. I sat in his chair and he told me before he started taking my nails off that my take off for my nails would be free and I said okay. So after hes done taking my nails off he says $10 I said what?!? You told me before starting on my nails that it would be no charge and the man at the front desk told me it would be free as well. Then this man lies to my face and says no we didnt and so I politely explained to him my situation and why I shouldnt pay and I told him once again that I was told that the work would be free, he interrupts me and says I want my money when Im done with my work and I told him that Im not paying you anything and then he threw down his supplies and said to me Well bye and I told him I will never ever patronize this place again. Not to mention, I paid $25 for my nails a week before my nails started to get crack and fall off. For this man to be a owner he is very very immature and selfish. And this man told me that its not his fault that one of his employees messed up my nails. And also other ladies that were getting their nails done by him were not pleased with him either.Please Please Please dont patronize the disorganized place. I beg you, theres too many nail shops in the city of Chicago that have better service and do good nails. Dont waste your money.

If you want Very Basic color yes go. But, not look for designs, professional attitude nor client comfort. Im Very Dissatisfied. Again, for basic color yes. This place will never see me again! This place needs to be closed immediately! The workers treat customers really bad, they threaten a lady when I was their. They steal money from customers wallets since they take your belongings. Also two of the workers females they physically pushed and hit a woman in her face for not giving them a tip! They can’t do this! I will be reporting this to the SOIL of Chicago

For the first time going to this place, trying some place new to get used to options like going to my usually one or going to another pretty much just switching things up, it was pretty bad. On Thursday June 14, 2018 I needed a fill in before I went on my vacation Friday June 15, 2018. It was last minute and I couldn’t make an appointment at my usual place so I came here because it was close and I figured you know why not. So I walk in and it’s packed but there’s like 6 or 7 workers sitting in chairs not doing anything so my mother and I stand there waiting cause there isn’t a waiting area, they prefer you to sit in the nail drying area which I thought was pretty odd, and then a guy comes to get me and takes me to his station and goes to do whatever it is that he had to do. I sat in the chair at his station for 25 minutes and when I’m getting ready to leave he comes over and asks what could he do for me and I said a fill in and replacing 2 that fell off and he said that’s extra which I already knew so I said yes that’s fine. He gets to doing my nails and I brought my own white nail polish just because I wanted white with a design. Well he says I don’t think a design looks good and I’m thinking alright it’s last minute just don’t get the design even though you’re paying not him. So he gets done and I go dry my nails while me and a few other women are drying our nails a random guy walks in and starts mopping and has the mop soaking wet and splashed it on me and my mother a few times and that’s when we left. The following day my nail cracks in half. I’m sitting on the couch typing regularly and my nail cracks split down the middle. I’m already at my vacation place which was 7 hours away and I’m like you’ve got to be kidding me. It ruined my entire mood that weekend and I didn’t want to go back in so I called and they said it wasn’t their fault because they did my nails perfectly and they do everyone’s nails perfectly and I hung up after that. Then two days after the crack happened which was on my pointer right finger my left pinky finger nail falls off. Usually I can feel when a nail is lose but in this case both of the nails he replaced felt loose and I just thought it’s fine. I don’t think I’ll be returning again. Also when we looked at both of the nails that fell off he used a lot of gel powder on my nail. It was very thick and usually they’re not supposed to be thick. I was very disappointed with this and like I said I most likely will not be returning.

Place is not sanitary and is ran like a sweat shop; to get people in and out. The lady did a pedicure and did not was the bowl nor the utensils before trying to start on me. My nails on my hand look a hot mess, doesnt even look like they were done today. Messy and speedy

This was my 2nd time going there. The 1st time was cool. This time the lady who did my pedicure tried to do my nails w/o asking me what I wanted done and the young lady sitting next to me let me know she’s never seen her do anybody’s nails just feet. She assumed that my nails were acrylic but they’re MY nails. So I wanted the cats eye. The guy TOTALLY messed up! And left polish on my fingers around my nails. The owner offered to fix it but who wants to wait 2 more hrs for that?! And he only took $5 off for the mess up! I won’t be back!

Unprofessional waited almost two hours for eyebrows but couldn’t get them done because they allow people to skip the line.

The only reason this place received 2 stars is because the nail tech that did my nails. I came at 11am and didn’t leave until 2pm smh. The woman that did my feet was acting like she never did feet and then I had to wait almost 30min because CeCe rude ass didn’t want to do my nails with her stank attitude. Luckily a man did them and he was so nice and professional. Unfortunately this experience has scorn me and I won’t be coming back.

As soon as I walked in, I was hit by that strong chemical smell. Nails that were cut off littered the floor. I was directed to sit at a dirty manicure table. I was told that they didnt take credit cards. I was directed to walk 20 yards across a field to get money from an ATM. I left. The decor was very pretty. Too bad the service and maintensnce didnt match the decor.

I recently got my nails and toes done and my nail crack in half and was bleeding badly it’s was not done nicely my toes was messed so I had to go back up there and get the redone and the lady was rude .

Helen is AMAZING at eyebrows, only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the eyebrow filler that’s used is one shade and it’s wayyyy to dark for me.

All these negative reviews and I cannot help but wonder why people continue to spend money here and why the BBB hasn’t been contacted. Trust the comments: the people are rude and there is ZERO sanitation being done to equipment and supplies. I needed a full set, deluxe pedicure and eyebrow and left with nothing. They tried seating me at a used pedicure bowl. The crusty towel was still laying on the bench from the person before me. DISGUSTING! I left immediately. Reading about all the fungus people have caught going here, I’m glad I kept my money.

They have people learning on you while they charge you. Two days after a no chip gel my nails chipped.I spoke with Linda she said Tiffany can fix but she is not here today. I came back and an elder man told me the same. Final time the actual owner said they Tiffany was there and she would fix only my chipped nails..... yet it has been 3 weeks of providing no customer service so YES of course my nails are chipped worse.I had to visit 3 times to get a final no.I am filing a complaint with consumer services

I had been going to this nail salon for months, I always went to Linda to get my nails done, well my thumb began to hurt after an appt and I told her maybe its something wrong with my thumb, before she started my nails, my nail on my thumb was beginning to separate from the skin, Ive never experienced this before, so after my thumb didnt stop hurting, I soaked the dipped polish off and went to the doc, to my surprise I had FUNGUS on my thumb... all I can say is beware, clearly they do not sanitatize their equipment, and if they do, its a poor job. I didnt even bother to call or go back, for what?? Considering this is her profession, she should have known there was an issue.Ive never had a nail fungus in my life and I have been getting my nails done all my adult life.

The only way I could leave a review is to rate 1 star I would rather rate 0. The customer service and professionalism sucks. I went in on March 11 for a fill in with my usual nail tech. 2 days later My nail broke went in for repair fine. Every other day after that a nail kept breaking. Went into this place 4 times within a week. Went into and told them something needed to be done soak them off and redo. Now mind you these were all my nails which had to be cut off because of this service. After completion you would think they would be accommodating because cause I was inconvenienced and had to catch a cab up there Every time. They tried to charge me a full fee for their poor customer service. I had my receipt in hand from March 2nd service which was $69.00 and they wanted to charge me another $45 no refund no discount. The guy at the front desk had the nerve to get up out of his seat and get up in my face. I threatened to call cops. Owner came up not making it any better. He called the police locked the door so I sat there waiting for police. Now mind you when I went in on Tuesday there were 2 disgruntal customers one who even threatened the place and to get the guy at the front door shot. The other lady came in from being there that morning they would not refund her money and offered her a gift card because she had no time to stay. In Lou of a gift card they wrote out a sticky note off a sticky tab. BUYER BEWARE! If your going to patronize any of these businesses make sure they stand behind their work and so you wont get jipped. Been going there for a year and so has my daughter. They will never get another dime from me. And I will be contacting the better business bureau.

Very first time I came here, Helen did my nails and she did a great job. I give her 5 stars. I tried to set an appt to see her again but she wouldnt reply 😒, so I came back but some other lady did my nails and didnt do a good job. I think I paid around $23 and yeah, its definitely true -- you get what you pay for. Im a perfectionist so I ALWAYS compare my nails to make sure I dont see any noticeable flaws. Unfortunately, I did and my nail polish started wearing off literally two days later. Smh I wanted to think that the other nail techs would be as good as Helen but they arent. Thanks a lot Helen for not replying back. Now Im back on the search for another great nail tech.

This is a very disrespectful establishment do not patronize them in any way. If you get your nails done and they mess them up they do not want to fix them or refund your money back. Males in there are very hostile towards black women and had even went so far as to put hands on a customer. The level of rudeness towards black women is just clear uncut racism. I went into this establishment for a no-chip manicure and sat at the station I was instructed to do so. As the technician did my nails, she never once greeted me or even tried to make small talk considering I was a customer and was patronizing the business she worked at. Upon finishing my nails, I asked her if she was having a bad day, she said, no, why did you ask that. I then proceeded to tell her she didnt greet me, speak to me or even thank me for my business. She then says, you should be thanking me, I did your nails. After that, I immediately got up, left and refused to patronize a business with such people working in the establishment! The worst customer service ever!!!!!

This place is disgusting !!! I went here two weeks ago to get a fill in, yesterday I went to get my nails done at a new location and when they took my nail off it was GREEN. They asked me where I went and I told them, I had to purchase anti fungal fungas killer for my nail. I was mad because I paid them $36 for my nails and if I needed a full set she should have told me instead of just rushing so that she can do someone else. I am highly irritated and I wont be going back there you shouldnt either. I also have a picture if you need proof! They are expensive, nasty, and they dont care about you just your money smh.

I visited Colour Nails for eyebrow maintenance and a no chip mani. I was asked how I wanted my brows done and I said just a clean up, please do not arch them or make them too thin. Result? Thin and arched brows! My no-chip was done on a Saturday and started peeling Sunday morning. The quality of the polish was very poor and required 3-coats just for the color to come in. I ignored the warning signs...too much time spent on cutting and waxing my brows and super thin and streaky polish.On the positive side, you will be seen fairly quickly and they LOOK like they do great pedicures. Bring your own polish and cash! $1 surcharge if youre using your CC.
