I really cant say enough good things about Be Realty. I know people say that all of the time, but in this case its well-deserved. I honestly could write a novel about all of the positive experiences we had with Andrew, Lynn, and the rest of the team. We started the search for our first home in January and weren’t entirely sure what were we were looking for. Andrew was so diligent and patient with us in those first couple of months, and we were getting close to buying, when COVID hit. Fast forward a couple of months of hand-holding and multiple assurances that we were still going to find a home, that it was going to work out… and we were making our first offer. We couldn’t believe it! Unfortunately it didn’t work out (and neither did the next 4) but finally we found the perfect first home. Throughout the rollercoaster that was this 9 month process, Andrew was there every step of the way. My partner and I both ask a lot of questions and we never felt like we were a burden. In fact, a testament to Andrew’s dedication to his clients: he viewed and helped us to put an offer on our home the day before he was scheduled to become a father for the first time. And when Lynn stepped in to shepherd the deal through and we knew we were in good hands. Their personalized service didn’t stop after the sale though. He’s since helped us to find a great handyman and offer us tips as first time landlords. I’ve told all of my friends that are considering buying homes to give Andrew a shot and I implore you to do the same. You won’t be disappointed.

I recently moved into a 2bd unit in a property owned and managed by Be Realty on the South Side. The property manager is seemingly apathetic to the needs of the building and tenants. He ignores calls and texts, and hasnt been back to the building since he showed us the unit in November. Ive been here a month the premises have be cleaned once, and my roommates and I have had to put in 9 maintenance requests for several issues ranging from the heat not working (its December in Chicago), drafty and un-secure doors and windows, to most recently a sewage smell in and outside of the unit, and an apparent rodent infestation. Everything looked fine when showed the unit. However the basement tells the true story of the building. Had I seen it first, I wouldve passed on this building and Be Realty. The owner had more experience and concern for selling properties as opposed to keeping and maintaining them. We have no working doorbell and were told flat out that the broken one in place wont be repaired or replaced. I moved because I was dissatisfied with my previous landlord. Atp Be Realty may be worse. I would not recommend leasing a unit from Be Realty at all. They have great reviews as real estate agents that can get your property sold but property management and upkeep are not areas of great concern even for the person tasked with the job.

More than once she made herself available on short notice, even spending a whirlwind Saturday viewing 12 properties with us. Although we were experienced buyers, she made sure to follow up at key points, from the offer stage to negotiations, ensuring that we were aware of upcoming dates, requirements, and negotiation points. Most of all, she was honest, giving us her personal opinions of both the properties we visited vis-a-vis the market and the reasonableness of contract terms. We can’t recommend Brittany enough, and that’s saying something, because we’ve worked with dozens of realtors in several cities.
